The staff was very pleasant. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. We received our keys and breakfast passes for each morning. When we didn't want to leave the room the housekeeper just handed us fresh towels and took our used ones with no hesitation. There are lots of eating and shopping options less than 15 minutes away.

There was no liquid soap in the shower and I was in the shower when I found this out. When I told the staff while checking out, they told me I should have called housekeeping. I told them I was already in the shower and there was no bar soap in the room either.
While checking in, we waited at least 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk.

A BIT SURPRISING
Front desk person (She) had a loud and pushy personality that wasnt so friendly or courteous as she greeted guest.
We wasnt offered water like the other check in person did after he checked in guess.
Rooms are a little small, there is a fridge, but no microwaves in the room.
As much as you pay for the rooms, the breakfast shouldn be included . You shouldnt have to pay an extra charge of $15+ for breafast.

I enjoyed the staff and the room but the cleaning staff stole one of my newly bought face product, and she only made one bed and didn’t refresh the towels or anything. I will never let a cleaning person into another room where I’m staying at again. Not happy about that situation.

Room was dirty and dusty.
Pullout bed for grandchildren had old food under the sofa cushions…. Change that fell out of someone’s pocket. Extremely uncomfortable… has to call for linens and make it myself. Sofa cushion stained with something. Disgusting.
Bathroom door did not close. Handle broken.
Smell in room.
I was offered another room after calling corporate….
Will not stay there again.

My family and I have stayed here for years. It has gone from a great place to stay to just an average place to stay in Greenville. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the location is centralized.
Rooms have declined tremendously over the years. Fire alarm went off incessantly overnight, and our air conditioner burned up overnight as well - causing a burning smell and smoke in the room. Linens and towels were in poor condition.

The crowne plaza did not meet my expectations. This brand name used to be top tier. I walked in to the check in counter with no line. I was told to wait while the employee checked in other patrons. I waited and a second employee came up instead of asking if anyone had been waiting to check in she checked in a man who had just entered the lobby. Once the initial employee who told me to wait finished she assisted me. She was brief and unwelcoming. While the other guests received bottled waters and information about the property I received just the room key. The room was okay. There was hair in the bedcovers and towels. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off. The ceiling appeared to have water damage and paint peeling. I wouldn’t return to this property or recommend it to anyone I know.

We had the most disrespectful person check us in who was talking about us within ear shot about how dare we ask to check in early and that we were not better than anyone else.. we both were shocked and couldn’t believe that a simple question and confirmation on the phone that we could check in early, would lead to this extreme disrespect of a customer. I couldn’t give lower scores for this place. We called and tried to speak to the manager, non on staff but they gave us a breakfast voucher for our troubles… absolutely ridiculous

Top tier service for the money. Rooms and amenities very nice. Only complaint is no microwave in room, but it was one in the lobby. Eco friendly soaps and lotions were very nice. And it had a Ruth's Chris steakhouse in the hotel itself. Just over $300 for a 2 night stay was an absolute steal.

The hotel was clean, beautiful, and nicely decorated. The bathroom toiletries were awesome quality.
The man who checked us in barely made eye contact and appeared to not enjoy his job.
Neither “bartender” we had was able to make a basic vodka martini without checking their notes.
The breakfast buffet was adequate as an included amenity but I wouldn’t have paid the $16 charge for it. I had to ask for decaf coffee since they only had regular coffee available….and beware, they make STRONG coffee!

Everything was great, fromt office was quick to check us in and help us when we needed to get a new key. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff was very kind when we interacted with them. The only thing we would recommend to them is to make sure the shampoo/lotion bottles in the room are filled.

Check-in staff disinterested in the fact that unauthorized car was parked in handicap parking when I needed that. Referred me to other handicap slots which required using stairs warning users that pavers were slick when wet and it was raining!!! Toilet had not been flushed in my bathroom, and a wet used face cloth was in the tub area which would indicate it had not been cleaned. I lost an earring either in bed or bathroom but didn't realize it till I was at airpot. I called to report and was supposed to get a call back. Didn't happen. Called again was transferred to housekeeping where I left a VM. Still waiting for a call back. Less than impressed.

Quick trip to Greenville
Hotel stay was very good, very clean and inviting. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing was the guy who answered the phone in the evening, not as cheerful as the others, however did answer the question.

This place is worn out!
This hotel was completely filthy with visible dirt everywhere. Stop into the elevator and it looked like it hadn't been swept in two weeks. It was in a complete state of disrepair. The carpets are worn out in the hallways. In out room, the floor was covered in disgusting large stains. Our bed had hair in it and the room smelled awful. This place was WORN OUT. It got even worse after the air came on with a foul smell coming from it when we were in bed.
The next morning, I went to the front desk to request another room. They gave us breakfast vouchers and keys to another room but when we entered the other room we realized that someone was not only already staying there but they were taking a shower!
The front desk put us in another room and in the morning we went down to breakfast. Imagine our surprise no-one was being charged for breakfast and we didn't need vouchers we were given to try to smooth things out. We got a bit of food and sat down. The water and juice containers were empty. We could not get anything to drink and the food was just sad so we went to a restaurant.
Don't stay here unless you want to pay way too much for cheap roadside motel standards.

I want to personally thank Chris for his hospitality and friendliness. He told me everything the hotel and city had to offer and gave me rides from the hotel on the shuttle. So king and generous. Also had a great stay!

Stayed in room 523.
Had to call maintenance for the following: 1) Sink was slow running, 2) Hall way / room light bulbs were burnt out. 3) Bathroom fan is inoperable. Housekeeping was called because the carpet was stained, the bedding for the pull out was not in the room, no extra blankets / pillows in closet. The swimming pool was cloudy and the filter needed to be ran.
The brand Crowne Plaza used to denote best of the best, this one is on par with Super 8's.

Shameful service and stay
Room was very dusty and floor was covered in small pieces of trash/shreds of paper. Very noisy all night long. Loud people in and out up till 4am. I called the front desk nothing was done.

Won't book this again using an online site. wouldn't honor the room type I reserved and were very upfront about making that decision because i had booked through a 3rd party website. condition wasn't great broken door panel on hvac unit, nail polish stains on carpet, sink wouldn't drain

Valentine’s weekend
My stay was a Valentine’s Day night out. When we got there the line was out the door and there was only one person actually checking people in. The other employee was running around getting things for him. The man checking people in was not friendly and at some times pretty rude. When we checked in, we were given a room with 2 double beds instead of the king room requested and told we had to take whatever was available. My husband and I did not sleep comfortably because there was not enough room in the bed for both of us. Also there was a used bar of soap in our shower and beers left in our refrigerator.

A few improvements needs, but overall nice.
The water was lukewarm in the morning, so it wasn't pleasant to take a shower when it was 39 degrees outside. I would have preferred a nice warm shower.

The furniture was worn out. Lamps were wobbly but functioned. The headboard to the bed was torn. The heating and a/c unit was very loud and I could not adjust the strength. Overall the property was clean and the staff was very friendly. We felt safe and valued as customers.

Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was amazing! My mom had just had surgery a few days before our trip. They not only offered her a wheelchair, but took her to the room. Definitely would stay again if I’m ever back in Greenville!

I was disappointed. The Hotels.com page says there are two restaurants and the Q&A said the hotel restaurant served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That is simply not true. The only restaurant was a Ruth's Chris that is attached and open only in evenings. I specifically picked this hotel because it listed a restaurant open through the day, so I was disappointed and felt misled. I paid for the breakfast option, which was good but also very underwhelming. The one morning I ate breakfast there the beverages consisted of one table with only one container of regular coffee, one small pitcher of OJ, and water. I've stayed at a Homewood Suites that offered more for the free continental breakfast. The furniture in the room was also very worn and there was dust buildup in places. My view was awful - when I looked out my window, I was eye level with a roof with electrical boxes/equipment. Though the location was good and the staff friendly, I doubt I'll stay here again.

Perfect New Years stay!
My Fiancé and I booked a short New Years' weekend at this hotel. They were beyond accommodating from the start! We got to check in early & have the convenience of the 2 restaurants and convenience store in the lobby made it even more perfect! We found ourselves on both nights wanting to go back to the room early to relax and enjoy our stay at the hotel!

Lacking a Good Cleaning
I always stay at Crown Plaza any time I come into town and it has always been a great stay until our last stay. The toilet was dirty, there wasn't enough tissue in the bathroom and looked like the last occupant left pieces of scotch tape in the shower which failed to be removed by the cleaning staff.

Once I checked in and received my key we went up to the room put are things down and sat on the bed. My son said mom look is the blood on the comforter, I checked and it look like blood. So we pulled back the sheet and there was blood on the sheets and pillow cases on booth beds. I immediately call front desk and spoke to the manager and was move to another room. I just expect housekeeper to do their only job... Clean.....

Staff was great! Our room was very damp and musty. So damp you could feel it on the sheets. We were not in room very much and didn't complain. Also, it says there are 2 bars/restaurants but the only restaurant is Ruth's Chris and the only bar is in Ruth's Chris. We did eat and it was delicious but would have liked a little more casual hotel bar experience.

Provided a room that faced the inside of the hotel, despite being a rewards member for 8 years. Could not open curtains due to visibility within the hotel so we did not have any natural light. Outside could use sprucing up, but the inside is nice.

This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel. Love the location, the hotel is always clean and the staff is always friendly.
Wish they would keep a check on the pool towels. Not many people swimming but dirty towels piled up and no clean ones replaced.

Difficult to communicate with limited English proficiency staff members. Ironing board in room but no iron and when I requested an iron I received one with an ironing plate that was caked in an unknown dried, black substance. Food particles stuck to edges of sofa cushions.

Good Stay for our weekend in Greenville
The hotel was convenient. Room was clean. Everyone was friendly. My only complaint was that our room window overlooked the indoor pool. The pool opened at 8am and screaming kids woke us up.

Very nice property. Pleased with everything!
Rooms needed some updating with some freshly painted ceilings. May have had a water leak at one time and was not completely painted. Dust hanging around the ceiling. Toilets leaking in floor needed repairs. Windows we’re not clean.
