Surprised that the upkeep is not better:( Stayed one night prior to flight. We paid extra for the king suite. Someone had smoked in the room prior to us, so it was a strong odor. The concierge sent someone to spray which helped some. eds hard and huge pillows. Did not sleep well.

I thought I would have to check in late the young lady I spoke to on the phone was so kind and extended my check in. When I went to check in we got in earlier than expected and they were so kind to even joke with me. I appreciate the kindness they showed me. When leaving the young lady even helped show me where the luggage racks were. I would for sure stay here again

Our stay was excellent We have stayed at this property many times and always enjoyed great service and hospitality.
The only problem we experienced was we paid for our breakfast when we paid for our reservation. When we checked in for the breakfast buffet, we were seated. The buffet was excellent, but the server never came by to check on us refill our water, etc. As we were getting u to leave, he did come by and remove our plates and thank us. Otherwise we had a great stay.

The hotel was mediocre at best. After arriving around 3:30pm, our hallway was full of trash and linens.
We walked out of our room around 5:15pm to find a bag of what appeared to be crystal meth or something other drug (in a small bag). The front desk was alerted, but we heard nothing else of the incident.

The Front Desk Clerk Was Extremely Rude! She Didn't Even Say Hello, She Did Not Identify Herself!
The Food St Lunch Was Not Good, But The Dinner Was Great!
The Bartender Was Rude!
I Wanted To Order Breakfast With my Complimentary Breakfast Coupons And Take My Food Back To My Room, But I Was Told I Had To Purchase Breakfast In Order To Take Food To My Room Because They Only Had To-Go Boxes For Paid Meals Only!
They Didn't Have ANY Complimentary Toiletries And The Rude Desk Clerk Also Told Me That The Crowne Plaza Didn't Do Late Check Outs!
I Would NEVER Stay At The Crowne Plaza EVER AGAIN Even If Someone Else Was Paying For It!

Wonderful Hotel near airport
Very clean and family oriented hotel. Have stayed there many times over past few decades. Close to food too. We needed a crib for toddler and they delivered to room, ready to use. Friendly staff. Parking lot has patrolled security. Would highly recommend.

We tried to check in at 3 as it states is there check in time. Our room was not ready. They actually said they had no clean rooms at all. I was told that the check in time didn't actually mean your room was ready at 3. We waited for over an hour, along with a lobby full of other guest trying to check in, for our room to be ready. We were going to a concert and need to get ready before we left and we were unable to shower and get ready before. We didn't have enough time because of the late check in. The only thing they offered for the late room was a free parking pass. I didn't even realize we had to pay to park at the hotel we already paid for. We will not stay at this hotel again.

The staff was absolutely fantastic, my daughter lost her phone, & we looked everywhere for it. The staff was very sympathetic to my situation. By the next day before checkout one of the house keeping staff members was walking it to the front desk to turn in, she found it in the common area bathroom. Great customer service
I had to schedule an unplanned hotel stay due to airline issues (weather related, so no reimbursement) and only spent a short night at the hotel; however, their customer service was amazing!!! There was some kind of mix-up with the shuttle, so I had to wait nearly 45 minutes for a ride to the hotel, and the night manager immediately told me she was giving me a free breakfast. When I notified her that I needed to leave at 3:30 am for an early flight, she told me to pick a few items from their āmarketplaceā that she would comp for me, as their apology for the delay/confusion. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and nice, they were extremely polite and friendly on the phone when I called a couple times to ask about the shuttle, the room was magnificent, the bed super-comfortable, the shower divineā¦and they had REAL shampoo and conditioner, not the cheap stuff that other places have!!! Sadly, I didnāt get to experience the pool or other amenities, but I was truly blown away by their kindness and care during my (very short) stay!

We chose this hotel because of the nice pool area and pictures of the room on the website. However, their pool closed too early compared with other hotels in the area. We were wanting to swim but we unfortunately arrived at 8:45 pm. Also, the pillowcase smells and obviously not changed prior to our stay.

Be cautious as of what kind of room, you book my family of three booked a room that said sleeps three, when we arrived early in the evening, there was only one bed and when we asked where our 15 year old was to sleep, their response was they were all booked up had no Rollways the best they could do was bring up a few blankets and he could sleep on the floor. I paid $600 for a room for one of my guest to sleep on a dirty hotel floor.

I arrived at 4.30PM to check in. Upon arrival the room was not available/ready. Had to go to my event without taking a shower and a change of clothing. Approximately 7.30PM I received call that the room was now available/ready. Arrived back at hotel around 9.15PM to check in. Staff apologized for inconvenience and promise to credit my account $50.00. As of May 25, 2023 waiting on credit to post to my account.

Pretty decent
The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The pool and water feature were nice and the buffet breakfast was decent although a tad overpriced. We did not appreciate the $10 per vehicle per night parking charges however.

The bed was very comfortable. Pillows were great. Not like the pillows you have to keep fluffing over and over. Overall it was a great place to stay. However, if I had any complaints it would be that the door to the room kept sounding like someone was trying to open it. Not sure if it was just the air pressure in the room or something. Also, the handle on the tub felt like it was going to fall off and was very hard to turn on.

The breakfast was expensive and the food was sub par. There was another restaurant in the hotel that never opened during our two day stay. Our trash never got emptied in our room, and when asked for more towels, we never received them. Our first night we got asked to leave the pool an hour before closing so they could put chemicals in it. Never once saw them do that. The staff was nice, and overall our stay was ok. Not super impressed.

Hairdryer did not work and they were supposed to provide a replacement and did not. The coffee bar was not fully stocked. There was old cereal bowl inside the ice bucket. The room key cards kept becoming demagnetized and I kept it away from my phone and credit cards so Iām not sure why. But this has me walk around building in rain once and then come back downstairs with luggage in tow to get new cards. There was not a good explanation of parking and I ended up paying for additional parking. It was very loud. Downstairs was loud walking in and even in my hallway, several neighbors were loud and smoke detector in hallway chirping needing batteries all weekend.

Very dirty. Rooms were only clean by request. Common areas (elevators, carpets, halls, etc.) looked like they havenāt been clean in months. The pool WAS murky! Wet towels everywhere. Would not come back. For the price for sure there is much better options.

3events were scheduled the weekend of my stay. No warning or anything. I pull up Friday night to the hotel to discover a parking lot full of cars. I have a limp and suffer with pain from a bum knee on one side and hip on the other and I had to park all the way on the back of the parking lot. Walk in kids running around everywhere. The next morning at 6 am I hear talking in the hallway as well as slamming of the doors. The pool opened at 7 am. People screaming in the pool. I was on the sixth floor and heard them as if I was at the pool with them. Staff was rude( whoever worked Saturday morning , March 11,2023). Started off fine ended horribly.

Everything was ok I think it need better pillows an air flow being on the 5th floor an heat rises it was every human and dry up there other then that my stay was good an to much for the breakfast the bread was old the pastries where not fresh the eggs an bacon wasn't hot enough didn't have a microwave in the rooms to heat up the food

Shuttle Bus Service was horrible
Arrived at St. Louis Lambert Airport at midnight. The promised shuttle bus service was nowhere to be found. Another hotel service was nice enough to give me a lift to the Crown Hotel. When i finally arrived at hotel i was advised the driver never showed up. The late shift counter lady was rude, too

I originally chose this hotel because I bought paid parking online while travelling for 2 weeks. Since our flight came in at midnight, I booked one night before heading home. It was our first time staying there but it won't be the last. It is one of the best we've found in the STL airport area and affordable.

Definitely a good place to stay.
The staff at Crowne Plaza is AMAZING! Everyone is so kind & helpful. Cortez at the front desk is our favorite. The food is good and the food servers are great too. The in room bathrooms are a bit worn, in need of some TLC, but clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

Friendly service, but disappointing experience
First off, itās advertised that a hotel shuttle provided transportation to and from the airport. This was the determining factor for choosing this hotel. Prior to booking it, I called the hotel and spoke to the front desk associate who told me that the shuttle runs to and from the airport all night since my flight arrives at 1 am. When I arrived at the airport, I called for the shuttle service and the front desk associate said that they donāt have a shuttle driver at night. So why was this advertised?
Second negative was that the restaurant manager at breakfast told the associates to take away extra place settings that were unused when someone sat down at the tables. So while I was eating, the servers started clearing away empty glasses and silverware. It was distracting and I couldnāt enjoy my meal in peace. They needed to do that beforehand or after I left. The last negative was that check was at noon and I had cleaning staff knock on my door at 11 am and 11:30 am even though the āDo not disturbā sign was up. Other than that, the front desk staff and other employees were very friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful hotel! Check in was very friendly. Security on site. Beautiful open area contains the pool, an indoor pond, waterfall, etc. Buffet breakfast was very very nice - eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries and a large fresh fruit area. Free shuttle to airport. Expedia price rocked it!
