This is a very tired property that desperately needs updating. Our room was not clean finding trash under the bed and killed a cockroach in the bathroom. In the morning at the breakfast they offer the staff either had friends or other employees hanging around and were so loud. Very unprofessional. Would not stay here again.

It was a reasonable priced place to lay my head. The folks at the desk were helpful, polite and busy. The room; smelled awful, hair in the sink, other hair on the toilet behind where the seat attaches and the entire facility looks painfully shabby and dated. Does not represent the Quality Inn & Suites name unless they have lowered their standards considerably!

Okay… if you like trains
Overall an ok place to stay. It was for only one night so I can deal with it. The room had a smell maybe from cleaning products. Three trains came through blasting their horn. That was probably the worst part.

Poor customer service, virtually no breakfast
There was only one set of towels and no soap in the room when we arrived and we are a family of 4. I had to go to the front desk and ask for these items. Front desk clerk told my husband that breakfast is from 7 to 10 am. In the morning, we went to get breakfast at 8.30 am. My husband was there 15 min earlier. He said that the front desk lady removed all the eggs and sausages right after he came. So there was nothing there to eat except cereal, waffles and yogurt. When I asked the lady about the eggs and if she was going to add more, she said she was busy because she had a lot of check outs in the morning. We waited for another 10-15 min, she just added some bananas but no eggs or sausage. If you can find another hotel stay somewhere else, staff here doesn’t really care about your experience. It was a last minute stay for us and it was the only hotel available for this area, so we had no choice.

This was a convenient location at a fair price. If you want a more fancy place you will have to pay more, however for the low price, this place was adequate for my stay.

When we got to the hotel they required 150 cash deposit for damages we may make to the room… they had no form to fill out just an envelope that they had us sign. When we got to our room it smelled so bad like smoke and mildew. They did not offer us another room or try rectifying the situation. All they said is since you told us you can have your deposit back in the morning. When we went down in the morning to eat breakfast we asked for the shady deposit bavk and we were told we had to drive around to the front of the building before they would return it. They did return it but this was shady as it gets…

The hotel is well maintained. Staff was friendly. Had an issue: we’re asked if wanting housekeeping. My reply was “NO”!!! The housekeeping ignored and enter our room without permission. We’re upset and I complain to the office. Office staff on Saturday evening showed no concern.

Property definitely needs to be updated (bed cover had burn hole, carpet old and dirty. Room had been cleaned, but not well. Whatever they used to clean the room had an overpowering smell. We were glad that we didn't have to spend too much time in the room. Couldn't get wifi to work. Won't stay there again.

we were to have 2 rooms adjoining both booked early, and they rented the adjoining room, and place the other of my party on the second floor at the oppisite of the hotel, not really good booking for early on line booking :( :(

Night clerk was very pleasant and professional, morning clerk was just okay. We booked a2 queen room in advance and the room was only socked with two towels and wash clothes. We we in a handicap room but the door was so hard to open, i don't see how anyone with mobility issues could even get the door open, much less maneuver through it.

This was the most disgusting hotel that I have ever stayed. The musty smell was overpowering and everything was so dirty that my husband and I were afraid to get into the bed. The rug had huge stains on it, the doors were caked in dirt and the shower area was repulsive.

The room was very outdated and dirty. There were spiderwebs in the corner of the ceiling, the shower wasn’t clean and the trash outside the stairwell was overflowing.

Wouldn’t recommend.
Not sure what happened within a year but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Perfect if you don’t mind the midnight visitors (Roaches) that like to crawl across the headboard.

The staff, including housekeepers and the maintenance man were all very professional and super friendly.
The downside of our 6 day / 5 nite stay was first, that the swimming pool was not only not openned as the website said... but a nasty green in color and no one even working on it. It looked like a storage area for garden hoses and broken parts. There was also no continental breakfast as the website also stated. Instead, you can request a to-go lunch bag with a bottle of water and a small blueberry muffin. You can request a frozen breakfast burrito or taco that can be microwaved. Juice and coffee were available in the lobby. Another downside was there was no housekeeping service except for 1 day. (You get to pick the day). If you want fresh towels or linen, You must take your used ones to the front office and request fresh ones. Same thing with garbage bags and ice bucket bags, Cups, and coffee for in room coffee machine. If you have full garage cans, you have to take the bags out to the dumpster if you want to keep a semi-clean room for yourself. We had requested a handicap accessible Room as my wife is wheelchair / Scooter bound. While the bathroom did have the shower seat we had requested & grab bars at the toilet and shower, there wasn't any near the sink and vanity or anywhere else in the Room. The set up for the room was very difficult for someone in a wheelchair as we had to rearrange some of the furniture to make it somewhataccessible for her.

This property has NEVER been updated.. the updates that were pointed out to me were New Headboards 😳. The tv was antiquated . They need to rip the carpet out and install laminate or equivalent. Whoever cleaned the room didn’t clean behind anything and the room phone hadn’t been wiped down in weeks possibly months. The previous occupant left a deposit in the toilet that was still there when I checked in. Overall only stay here if you’re Desperate

A pleasant holiday stay
We stayed over the Christmas holidays, there weren't many guests during that time, there wasn't much in the way of housekeeping, but it was a pleasant stay, the room was comfortable & the motel was conveniently located.

I stayed at this hotel to attend a Clemson University home football game. It is about 25 minutes from the campus so it is convenient for attending events at Clemson. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. This is a older property that has had some updating done to it so it is a good bargain compared to properties closer to campus. I would definitely stay here again based on my visit this time.

I had planned a sunrise for my husband on this trip. Peter, the General Manager was super nice and very accommodating. The hotel looked like it was in the process of some renovations because of the storage containers on the property but if there was work being done it was being done quietly becuase we never saw or heard it. All in all a nice place to stay.

The A/C unit in the room rattled quite loudly when on. Propping a chair up to it did fix the problem though. We had a Street front room and the traffic, also no with the train, was a bit loud. Nothing they can do to control, but definitely request a room on the back of the property. Other than that the room was just ok.

The Staff and Breakfast were Great.They Treated ya like a king and Queen,But the place needs to be Updated.The Furniture is been through hard times.And the Room smelled like Mildew.We Ran to Walmart and got some Spray and Bleach Wipes.One More thing, I Can’t go up or down stairs,The Place have no elevators.

Bad service and don’t bother requesting any towels
Not a pleasant experience at all. I was on a trip with a friend and as soon as I started check-in I knew I wasn’t going to enjoy my stay. The room was reserved with my husbands credit card and the girl at the counter insisted he had to be there since his name was on the card. I completely understand security, but he was 4 hours away working, when I asked what he could do so I could use it since he gave it to me to pay for it in person she rattled off a long list of forms to have filled out and returned. Thankfully I had an alternate form of payment. The room was not clean, and for 2 double beds had 2 towels. When I requested more I was rudely told no, I had all the towels alloted for that room. I had to insist 2 towels for two beds and two people was ridiculous. I will not stay here again. I have received better service at a roadside motel that was almost half the price.

We rented a suite with a full kitchen. There wasn't one item to use in the kitchen...no plates, cups, glasses, utensils etc. Other than the fridge, it was basically useless and we paid extra for it. Housekeeping came every day to give clean towels, but our bed was not made daily, nor was our room vacuumed daily (and parts of it needed it!) The new beds and linens were great. The one woman at the front desk was wonderful(with pink eye shadow!). Another woman at the desk was barely communicative. Breakfast was okay. Weird "scrambled" eggs. They were shaped like flying saucers and dried out quickly. The location was convenient, but not sure I will stay here again.

We had a great stay at Quality Inn! The room was clean in the bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff was very accommodating. We left behind an important item and later that day the front desk gladly offered to mail it to our house!

Place to stay near family reunions
We stay in Easly, SC when attending two family reunions. One reunion is in Greenville, the other in Simpsonville. There is a Catholic Church, St Luke, nearby. Also a good bar-b-que place, Mutt's. The provided continental breakfast is good. Coffee is hot. The pool looks good, but we did not try it this year.

Quick check in. Friendly staff. Room in good working condition. Relatively clean. No odors. Did notice some slight stains on washcloth/handtowels but could tell they have been laundered. And there was a beetle crawling across the floor once we've settled in. Just one little guy. We're outdoor people so these things are easily overlooked/acceptable. Overall, for the price, it was comfortable and convenient to food/outdoor areas we were interested in visiting.

The photos on the website are nothing like the reality!! This place is in dire need of a face lift! I'm sure the housekeeping staff do what they can. The bed linens seemed to be clean.
The carpet however was gross!! I bought a pair of flip flops just to wear in the room because I wasn't about to put my bare feet on the floor. The room smelled a bit stale too. The entire hotel needs new everything. Bed kind of lumpy too. We were there for 6 nights and wanted to go to other hotel but was not in budget to change. The friends we were with did not want the hassle of changing hotels so we stuck it out. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!
Breakfast was pretty bad too, only had it once couldn't face it more than that. - went to restaurant instead.

First room was supposed to be non-smoking—reeked—so had to change rooms. C’mon SC—make ALL rooms non-smoking.
Big gap around exterior door. As a woman, would not stay here alone.
Unfortunately, out of the inn’s control, heavy road work was being done from 11pm through the night. We finally got to sleep after 3am!

Hair on sheets
I checked in around 5ish. Didnt bother to goto the room at that point. After my meeting ended i went back and started to get into bed. When i flipped the sheets back there was hair everywhere. Clearly the sheets had not been changed and to late to want to have staff change them. When i say hair i mean alot ofthe it including pubic hair. I slept in the chair instead.

The hotel staff was very polite and our room was clean and comfortable, but it did smell like it had once been a smoking room or had been smoked in. The building itself is rather run-down and need of repair and updating. The train and whistle could be heard late at night and early in the morning.

Worst stay ever!!
Upon entry of the hotel, staff was not pleasent. Gave one key and told room number. The first room offered was roach infested and I had to kill 2 on the night stand and seen one in the bed blanket. The bathroom was dirty and the shower curtain was moldy. When I called and told the front desk lady, to me she presented an attitude and asked me if I wanted another room. I spent all night looking for bugs. This was the only accommodations for the night after another hotel over booked. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!

We were very pleased with our stay. We were in town for a wedding and stayed overnight with our son and his family. The check in went very well. The staff was very caring and polite. We were able to get two rooms that connected, so that worked well also. I would stay here again for sure.

Ticks, Bed Bugs or Roach under the pillow
Walked into the room and knew that something was wrong. 1. Roomed smelled as if no one has been in it for a long time. 2. Both Beds comfort was excessively wrinkled as if they were originally balled up in a corner and the beds where made with the old sheets. 3. When I pulled the sheets back i noticed hairs on the bed. 4. Last but not least, I picked up the pillow and found a Tick, Bed Bug or roach under the Pillow. I informed the manager and left. There is no way I can put my family in that place even in another room.

Check in was very good, quick and courteous. When we went in the room, it was musty and smelled of cigarette smoke. This was suppose to be a non-smoking room. I thought that running the a/c would help with the smell. We were gone for 5 hours and it still smelled when we returned. The carpet was nasty and felt nasty on you bare feet. Then when we awoke the next morning, I was watching tv on the bed and had a banded German cockroach crawl up on the bed and look at me. This was not the only one spotted that morning. One also came out from where the coffee maker was located. Nasty, nasty room!

First “n on-smoking” was overpowering with cigarette odor. Changed rooms. Second was better but still smelled of smoke

We came to Easley for my Aunt's funeral. I was very sick so all I did when we got to the hotel was sleep. It was very comfortable. I slept the entire time. No complaints.

Good value near clemson.
Enjoyed our stay. Room could have been cleaner. The easy to get to areas were great, the corners and edges were not as great.
