Not a hotel or motel around highway. It actually located next to Main St. walkable to many good restaurants and shops. Room is clean with comfortable bedding. Staff are courteous.

The heater in the room took a long time to adjust the temperature in the room. It was also very noisy heater. Probably because of the age. The bed was comfortable the room had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. An older flat screen tv. But for the room size ok. It was fully equipped for handicap. The breakfast was excellent. If your traveling through Waynesboro VA and need a place to sleep the night. This is a good value.

The staff was nice. The room was clean. It's just was very confusing because when we checked in I was not aware that they owned the hotel behind us and that was the econo Lodge which that was not what I booked but that was where our room was. Apparently they bought quality inn bought the hotel that sits behind them which was econo Lodge . Quality Inn just haven't switched things over so it was not exactly on their property initially when I booked it so it was quite confusing and limited choices as well. This was also a last minute booking for me

Rooms were very nice given the older condition of the premises. Staff was very helpful. Perfect location in town to attend a concert at the Wayne Theatre. Great price for the quality level. Would stay again.

This no frills motel was very clean and quiet. We felt safe in the area and the staff was friendly and helpful, even with our late night check in. They serve a decent breakfast and the price was very affordable. We would stay here again if we’re in the area.

Inside of this room was fine, clean, well equipped, comfortable, reasonably updated. Would have been a bit better if there had been some softer pillows as well as the thick, firm ones. Outside, second floor rooms were we stayed required climbing a stair. That stair was badly in need of updating. Parts of it were rusty metal. The concrete parts were deteriorating; not dangerous but unsightly. I would not recommend against this property - just encourage them to do a little more there.

Nice, fresh renovations in the room. Very appropriately updated for this level of service/price. Breakfast was as expected.
Unfortunately the hot water never got hot even after letting it run, so not a great shower.

Motel on major state highway that connects to I-64 and the Skyline Drive (10 min) in downtown Waynesboro.. An older facility but remodeled and clean. We were very pleased with our room especially the great mattress! Towels were rather worn. The free breakfast was surprisingly good and nice.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hallway in our building was very dated and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The room keys only worked part of the time.

The staff were all friendly and very helpful. What I didn't like was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The floor left a lot to be desired with dirt built up in the corners. The toilet was clean but needs to be replaced, the shower was adequate but the fan in the bathroom was not running correctly. The sheets, blankets and towels were all very clean. The land behind the entrance where my room was located left a lot to be desired. Overall I think the owners need to update many of the rooms. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Makayla was so considerate when we needed a special accommodation. She took the time to take us to 2 different rooms before we chose the one where we stayed. The room was clean and fresh. The AC worked great. We slept well and had a nice breakfast before we left. Dan & Cindy Amick

The hotel was convenient to where I needed to be. The room was very clean but needs some home repairs. Cable was awesome. AC was ok. Hallway in my building smelled like cigarette smoke and the soda machine was completely sold out and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot on a Monday night. Breakfast was ok. Had protein(eggs) for some protein but there was no taste and the sausage gravy was sub-par. The hotel overall was definitely worth the money I spent on the room but with with some property improvements and breakfast improvements I would be willing to spend more per night.

A good economical place to stay
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was quiet with no road noise.
Breakfast was really good. I've stayed places where the breakfast was packaged pastries. The choice of hot foods was excellent, along with a variety of juices and fruit.

We check in then checked out immediately, we left and went to book a room down the road at another hotel.
I’m upset because I should be refunded for the unused room or provided points or credit for future use as we were forced to seek more suitable accommodations . The room was old smelly and the bathroom was moldy.

Wasted stay in Waynesboro!
The room we had was run down. Bathroom wallpaper and walls very messy. Shower head was very old with low pressure. The light fixture by our bed was not fully attached to the wall, one side was not attached to wall. Breakfast was a joke, no room to eat. Not a very good experience.

The property was nothing like the picture. Pool was muddy and rooms were filthy. The area is safety issue. Had to have housekeeping come to my room to clean feces from the toilet. The shower was trimmed in mold. Nasty place to have to stay for the price we paid.

Some people mentioned “updating”. There are ways to maintain a hotel in a way that you can continue to use older fixtures etc. that is done tastefully. Here the execution is very poor. My thoughts were that “updating” was done by people that had no experience. Things like installing a toilet into a space where in cannot fit so that you can’t lift the seat and have it stay up. Putting a door brace on but leaving it so that it’s not fully screwed in. Molding that was reused that still has marks and holes from the previous fixtures that were attached when it was somewhere else. I could go on and on but won’t. The food was certainly good enough and service very good. Common areas are clean. Would I stay there again? Definitely because it is well located for me and I can get over the disappointments. My stay was very good otherwise and with out incident. My wish for the hotel is that you find someone that has more skill and attention to detail in maintenance going forward.

Booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds and 1 Sofa bed, then on another reservation for a fellow traveller booked a just 2 queen beds, prices were $129 for the rooms with sofa bed and 100 for the just 2 queens… got the 3 rooms next to each other exactly same size with No sofa bed and Got Charged $10 for roller beds…. Staff was rude and property dirty and neglected… total disregard for service…. Worst property ever stayed.

Staff was polite, kind and professional. Ants in bathroom tub and sink. Ants crawled on my face at night while in bed. Shower curtain did not fit the tub and water on the floor as a result soaking the bathmat. Curtain on sliding glass door missing curtain hanging things leaving an opening so bright light at night bathed the room in light. Door had a gap at the top so wide that light from the hallway was so bright on the wall and ceiling I could not sleep. Bed sunk deeply in the middle. Toilet seat lid broken. Florescent overhead light in the bathroom filthy dirty and would not light but just flashed on and off.

The staff when checking in was not friendly and welcoming. I was very disappointed with the room. The mattresses were terrible the moment I sat on the bed I sunk in which I am not heavy set. The sheets were disgusting. There was no trash can in the bathroom. The ottoman was missing two legs. I will not be coming back.

This is an old hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast was nice, and the check in and check out folks were very nice. I am a hiker so everything within 2-3 miles is in my walking distance and there is plenty of choices within that range for food. Forgot something, Walmart a couple of blocks away. I walked to a brewery about a mile away. Very nice park along the river nearby.
If you are hung up on having a brand new spotless room, this is not for you. The rooms here are cozy, lived in type spaces.

The front property itself, along with the lobby wasn't too bad, however the back building that we stayed in wasn't the best. There's probably 10 rooms out there and it's not really clean. When you walk into the back building you get hit with cigarette smell as soon as you walk in.

Best price in the area! My room was very clean, the climate control worked well, it was quiet, and I enjoyed a very adequate breakfast (included) before I left. As to whether I think my review will be helpful to women, LGBTQs, the physically challenged, or blacks, I am none of those, and have no idea.

One night. Of all the Quality Inns I have stayed, this is probably the worst one. The staff were nice and pleasant. Just a strange layout of the rooms. Hotel needs to be remodeled and updated.
Breakfast was outstanding, I’m on an extended motorcycle trip and this breakfast is the best so far. Wide selection and variety of products. This is the second time I have stayed here because it is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Homeless shelter not a hotel. DO NOT STAY
I got the room because i was in the area and after a 14 hour car ride with my boyfriend and friend with our 2 SERVICE DOGS. we needed to find a spot to shower, change his pump and get some sleep.
2 service dogs: DIABETIC ALERT DOG AND SEIZURE ALERT DOG they are federally considered "medical equipment"
It turned out to be a Homeless shelter. "Warm Shelter" to be exact.
Not a sanitary place for a bridle type 1 diabetic with a weak immune sysytem on full disability to change the tubing inside of his body. If you ask me.
I cancelled the room 15 minutes later and they charged me a $30 penalty fee for cancelling because of a disabily.
Manager told me i cant cancel my reservation within 24 hours. In reality the entire reservation was for 15-20 minutes

Won’t Come Back
The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was conveniently located to restaurants and stores in Waynesboro. However, the hotel was old and the room was not great. It had been sloppily repainted and the furnishings were old and outdated. It was obvious the room had not been thoroughly cleaned for some time There were cobwebs in the corners, the mini frig smelled, and the bottom of our feet were black after walking on the carpet and bathroom floor. The toilet leaked the entire time despite maintenance’s attempts to repair it. The caulking around the bottom of the toilet was sloppily done done, dirty, and had mildew on it due to the leaking. The bathroom fan cover lost a screw and started hanging down. It was initially fixed with duck tape, which only lasted a day due to moisture from the shower. The bathroom heater and a floor lamp didn’t work. All the lamp shades were old and stained. There was no coffee pot. There were only 2 umbrellas for the tables at the pool and both were broken. The same items were served every day at the breakfast bar and the OJ dispenser never worked. We received no maid service the day before we left.

Carpets left feet black and one bed had blood and dirt stained full mattress cover that I found because the cover sheet on top of that wasn’t pulled down all the way and I could see the stains. However all the sheets we slept on and under were clean and the rest of the room was clean. Breakfast was good.

It’s ok…
It was fine for one night. Honestly though it was very overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Loose Bathroom fixtures, bathroom mirror needed replacing, cracks in the walls bad second rate craftsmanship. The bed was comfortable AC was cold. Tv had a nice selection of channels. The location however the town almost looks deserted. Way too expensive for the experience. It seems like people are living out of this hotel which was really more of a motel.

Nice breakfast
Good location for our needs. Room was ok. Some questionable guests were hanging out outside several rooms. There was a stack of laundry left on top of the washing machine the entire time we were there. Had to walk downstairs in the pouring rain to get breakfast, but the food was really good, so it kinda made up for the inconvenience.

Ok for an overnight off the highway
We needed a place to sleep for a few hours after a long day of driving. It was right off our route, the check in was fast and easy. Front desk ladies were very friendly. The room was ok. Bed was VERY comfy, which allowed for a good night sleep. The location appears to be in a not-so-great area of town. Some of the rooms look like people may live there, rather than just staying a night or two and there were a lot of people coming and going from a few of the rooms which made us a little uncomfortable. We just went in the room, locked the door and went to bed. Served the purpose.

Update: Called on 4/19 and spoke to the front office again. Asked to speak to manager as I never recieved a phone call regarding the refund I am owed. She stated that the manager is not giving me a refund nor called me back because of the google review I had left. I am once again waiting for a call back and have since spoken to my bank to file fraudulent charges. I booked this hotel in Waynesboro, VA because of decent reviews, pri e and close location to family as we were visiting for Easter Sunday. We had planned to stay April16-7. We had to unexpectedly cancel our trip due to Covid. My cancelation policy on my email stayed "Free Cancellation untill April 15th @4pm" I cancelled the room on April 15th @7:13 am (this was the time I got my cancelation confirmation. Which on that email it stated I would not be chared/and or refunded any money paid already. (I chose pay at hotel so iso no money had been taken out yet. Sunday morning I have a charge for the room on my card. When I called the hotel they said I would have to speak to the site I booked it on. When I called Hotels.com they said I would need to speak to the hotel. I explained that the hotel gave me the runaround to speak to them. Hotels.com lady called the hotel directly and then told me that the hotel is claiming I did not cancel the hotel untill the day I was suppose to be there. Stay closer to I-64
Unfortunately for the hotel, it’s in the seedier part of town. Besides that, the shower curtain was moldy, the door to the room left plenty of room for bugs to come through as well as light and wind. Floor was not vacuumed. Found bobbie pins on floor that we stepped on. Place needs some updating. Fortunately, there were no bed bugs.

It was the worst condition hotels I have ever stayed in. Had a bad smell, asked for a non smoking and they gave us another room but still smelled bad. Still had trash in the trash can. If you make it through the night the breakfast was good.

I normally don't leave bad reviews, but this hotel should be completely redone. The location is perfect close to pretty much everything you need to see in the area but the place is old and tired. I stayed one night because it was late and we were tired. Whomever left a 5 star review obviously never stayed at a 5 star hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone other than construction workers.

Good hotel
We stayed here last year. Good lower price hotel. Good staff. Variety of breakfast items including a healthy item, apples. We like staying here and having dinner across the street at Ciros. Clean, quiet, comfortable, could use a little work, like replacing or repairing swivel chair. Would stay here again
