Wide awake at 2:45 am due to back pain from horrible bed and itchy, thin blankets. Trucks, semis and loud cars driving by all night. The view from the back of the property is gorgeous but doesn’t make a difference when everything else is bad. Forfeiting my second night I can’t get a refund on because I’m just so eager to get to another hotel.

Where to begin. We checked in and the manager on duty was not friendly first off. Then we put out stuff in our room went out for a hour. When we returned there was water all over the bathroom floor cause the toilet was leaking. Call down to front desk she said she would come look (same rude manager) she then said we would have to switch rooms. Ok.. but then told us that we need to bring all our stuff down to the lobby to get new keys! She could have just told us what room we was going to and met us there but that didn’t happen. New room we got the fridge barely worked. Not to mention housekeeping busting in at 9:30 when checkout is 11am. And of course there was no do not disturb sign in the room. When checking out she asked how it was and we tell her terrible and explain why just to get sorry. We wanted to stay here for a while now cause of the river but I can guarantee we won’t be back. If you’re looking to get some sleep you can forget that also! It is so noisy from doors slamming to the traffic that you can’t rest at all.

The hotel room was really nice and the bathroom doubled as a steam room, But we didn't like the walk to the actual strip. It was a little further away than we had anticipated, but the river out back was nice and soothing. The hotel room was very nice Inside. We did not like the fact that the Full breakfast downstairs ends at 9:30. No one usually gets up that early on vacation. They should extend the hours till about 10:30 to 11:00. As far as the clerk behind the desk. I See a lot of reviews where people say that she is rude. I did not get that. There are cultural differences that some people don't understand, but I honestly feel like she tries her best to maintain a professionalism that is accustomed to her. She is not American, so she is not going to give the American version of customer service. But she is not rude. She's just different and that's ok.

The hotel room was nice and appeared clean. The pillows were very small and awkward. The bath area was at the back of the hotel and opened out onto the small deck. The floor, which was tile, was freezing. It was so uncomfortable that we had to turn on the heat lamp in the bathroom to heat up the floor and room before we used it. Also, the pool was indoors, but you had to walk outdoors to access it. The pool room was very humid and the first evening we used it, warm water was being circulated, but the warm water inexplicably turned off and didn't come back on. The next day, water was pouring out of the the building in which the pool was housed. We went back to the pool the second evening, but decided to forgo the experience as everything in the entire room was wet. The fire pit, worked one time the first evening, but it had a timer. Once the timer ran out, it would not restart. We tried several times over the two days of our stay and it would not work. We could smell propane and we could hear the lighter clicking, but there was no fire. We reported this to the desk and were told that it was a little finicky. So, though we chose this hotel for the indoor pool and firepit, neither were available to use for most of our stay.

Pathetic front desk girl(2-7-2024)
Everything was excellent as expected! Prices were great, service, for the most part was on point, with the exception of the late afternoon/evening front desk lady. It seemed as if it was an inconvenience to ask her about local pizza outlets that delivered. I mean, her phone was obviously more important that a simple question from a paying guest. So sorry to have inconvenienced. Aside from that, everything was exceptional!

We got a really good deal during the slow season. Location was perfect. The facility was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The only complaint is that the front desk lady was not welcoming at all when we checked in, but other than that it was a nice stay.

I loved the little balcony that overlooks the river! Everything was clean and there was a good breakfast! My only complaint was at check in, the person at the desk was not super helpful/friendly. I still got my key cards but getting the parking pass was a pain. She needed my license plate number for the paperwork so I had to go back to my car to get it since I had a rental and didn't know it. Then I just got a piece of paper to hang on the rear view mirror so I don't know why it mattered anyway. Everything else about this hotel was great though so I would highly recommend it! It is a little bit of of the main drag which I liked so it wasn't quite as busy!

parking was a challange because the spaces were so small..very tight fit between cars...mistake was made on our reservation..we scheduled three nights with a room that had two queen beds and when we checked in we were told it was for two nights and a king bed..fortunantly i printed out my original reservation to prove it...had to change rooms

Trip started off rocky. I chose the option to pay at property. Hotel attempted to charge card morning of, in which funds were not available. They then canceled reservation without informing me. Rooms were luckily still available and was able to get a room. Stay was great otherwise.

Our trip was great. Our room was clean and our view was beautiful. The breakfast was hot and there was a good variety. The lady running the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. All of the staff was friendly and helpful except the evening receptionist. She has a poor attitude and any questions or simply trying to check in seemed to be an inconvenience for her. The pool area was clean and warm. The sauna was out of order and there were no signs stating out of order. All and all it was a great stay. I would stay again.

This property was more of a nicer/decent motel. The pictures and in-season pricing was a little misleading. Luckily we didn't spend a lot. The rooms were small and clean outside of some overlooks. The beds were AWFUL. Our family all had difficulty sleeping due to the hard mattresses. It felt like we were sleeping on box springs. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay - but free so that was nice. The location is walkable to many restaurants, shops, and attractions. We would probably pay more elsewhere next time though.

Sauna is permanently out of commission, pull room over chlorinated, you can hear every person opening closing doors and walking by room and every car , the breakfast bar and lady that maintains it was exceptional minus her music a little loud , desk staff was kind and polite, balcony was tiny and mirror lightening was awful if trying to get ready . Our fridge worked when it wanted to in the room.

The room was great other than the tv being in Spanish and having basically no channels to watch. They should really be upgraded to smart TV’s. There was also some hair on the clean towels that didn’t belong to us. But other than that, our stay was great!

Beware of parking and pulling out of parking lot.
The Hotel was okay...room was small, very loud the entire night long though. You hear everything from people coming n going at all hours of the night tothe vehicles driving byall night long. Parking and getting out of parking lot leaves a lot to be desired! Very dangerous pulling out of parking lot and into traffic. Breakfast area was very crowded and out of coffee and other items. We chose to just have breakfast elsewhere, and only stayed the 1 night. Just to noisy overall.

The room was clean. The first room we got smelled just like someone had just smoked a cigarette in it so we had to change rooms. The pool was terrible. The moment you opened the door it smelled of chlorine. You could see bubbles on top of the water and ypu couldnt even see down to the bottom. Location was good and watching distance to the main strip.

I made my booking on line, arrived at the property and could not get my room,she couldn't find my booking. It was getting late in the evening when we arrived, had no room on Christmas eve.....finally was able to get a room at another location and with the help of the lady at the office
she saved us by going the extra mile for 2 seniors in need of a room on Christmas eve.

After traveling very far it’s nice to be greeted with a smile or hello welcome!!! Well not here with the front desk girl!!! She was AWFUL!!! When I asked her a question she was mad and gave me attitude on top of it!! Made the whole experience of this hotel not so good! This girl was the “face” of the hotel and it wasn’t good at all!! Rude, rude , rude!!
The room was updated nicely but the beds were very noisy the way they were on these weird platforms and the road noice in the middle of the night kept us all awake.

Our stay was great! We traveled to Gatlinburg for our anniversary trip during the holiday season. The hotel was convenient to downtown. The staff was friendly and our room was very nice.
My only complaint was the traffic noise at night.

Not bad for a budget stay.
Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. It’s right on the busy road and that was a little noisy. Good for an affordable budget stay (we went during the week when the prices are better). No bells or whistles. Our TV didn’t work and the front desk was not terribly helpful on that. Otherwise it was fine.

My wife and I come to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg several times a year and have always stayed in another hotel. Baymont by Wyndham has become our new favorite. The rooms were recently redone and look fresh and spacious. It doesn't hurt that right out your balcony door is the mountain stream. It's beautiful!

I have stayed at this hotel several times before. This time it was different. The man that runs the hotel and works at the desk is not very friendly at all. We check in and get all of our stuff up to our room and our keys wont work to get in. So we have to go all the way back down and get new keys. When we open our door, we immediately smell marijuana. The room was clean but the bathroom and by the balcony door seriously needed mopped. On our second day, we got locked out again because our key wouldn't work. Once again we had to go back downstairs to get replacements. They never once apologized and just honestly weren't nice and friendly at all. I was so disappointed because I have always loved this hotel. My husband and I stayed here for the first time on our honeymoon. But after this last stay, we won't be back.

The property was okay. You have to return the key card before exiting the lower level parking. The suit was a 2 bedroom there was 2 doors in-between them and they were old beaten up doors. The check-in was not friendly and check out was just as bad. Make sure you can sleep through loud cars as well.

We checked in on Thanksgiving, and the front desk staff was grumpy. I guess I can understand. I had no complaints about the room; the hotel has a great view from the balcony and is close to some attractions. The breakfast lady and other staff was happy and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location for our visit to Gatlinburg. We walked to all the spots we were interest in Gatlinburg during our stay, such as Anakeesta, the Aquarium, Ober Gatlinburg lift, and lots of restaurants and shops. The morning hot breakfast was very good. The waffle maker is always a hit with us. Parking at the hotel was easy. The river view was very nice - but guests look over a bunch of houses and nearby hotel built along the opposite side of the river. A big downside of the hotel is the traffic noise. which continues all night.

Short Vacation Stay
We loved the room with the balcony overlooking the river. The beds were comfortable. Shower was good.
Our only complaint was the street / road noise due to the location very near the road going into town.
Also, the price was very competitive.
