It was OK for a 1 night stay. There was no toilet paper hanger in bathroom; bathroom door had major scrapes/gouges in it; mattress needed to be replaced.

Problems with this hotel stay
Took awhile to get checked in even though I booked ahead and the hotel wasn't busy. Exterior lights didn't come on when it got dark so timers need to be reset also the hotel maid service shouldn't come around knocking and asking if you are checking out which I found to be unusual and rude.

Not as advertised
This property was advertised as a hotel; it is in fact a motel, as in the rooms face the outside. None of the online pictures accurately showed the property for what it is, which feels disingenuous. The room was all right if a little aged. The plumbing for the tub and shower was inscrutable.

The pictures on hotels.com did not really match the condition of the hotel.
1. there are 2 buildings. The front building, the rooms open to the outside. I would never have booked knowing that. Asked about other rooms that don't open to the outside, was offered "building in the back". This is in a very dark area of the rear parking lot, and there are woods behind it. The building is enclosed with windows, and you use your room key to unlock the main door. Only 2 floors, but no elevator.
3. I didn't partake breakfast but the area again did not match the look online.
4. The shower was outdated but had great temp and pressure!
5. bathroom sink slow to drain, i advised this at checkout.
I do want to say that the African American young lady working the checkin was very pleasant and responsive to my concerns. This is just an outdated, atypical property.

Room was dirty, poorly maintained. Door to bathroom was basically falling off hinges. Cobb webs in every corner. Brown stain in bathtub. Should be higher standards for price.

I was totally disappointed in the total appearance of room 100. Cracked tiles in bathroom. Cigarette burns on bathroom countertop. sink was totally decayed and missing porcelain coating The HVAC system was entirely too loud and interrupted sleep. I was very glad I brought my own slippers because I did not feel the carpet was clean at all. my overall rating would be one out of five stars and that’s a stretch. Should I have occasion to be in Warrenton again I would not stay at your venue. there was a $50 charge for incidentals for both rooms I rented, which was not explained prior to tell you the truth. This hotel hardly meets the reputation of the name Wyndham.

I was in the back building which was quiet and clean but the main building attached to the front office was a little sketchy. The newer building was nice and room was clean. Front office staff was very nice. I would stay there again as long as it’s the new building

Overall the stay was fine, fairly clean, VLP flooring throughout, no carpet. Bathroom was recently updated, and overall fairly clean. For the price it was actually pretty good. It's deceiving, there is a "MOTEL" where you check in, but i was in a separate building that was like a "MOTEL." I'm glad i wasn't in the "motel" section. For the price i paid it was fine, but if you like "fancy" places might not be your first choice.

Carpet was dirty & stained, upholstered chair had a huge stain on the cushion, room had an unpleasant smell, paint in the bathroom was bubbled up and chipped, caulk and paint around the shower were cracked and peeling, handle on the toilet was broken, mini fridge made so much noise I had to unplug it to sleep. Staff were very good.

Good overall
The check-in was a little slow. The woman at the desk said she was the only one there. We stayed in a suite room which was spacious and clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Bugs everywhere, and front desk showed zero understanding. We opened the door to the room, reeked of smoke, carpet ripped, walls cracked... A dump. We then say the bugs on the walls and ceiling and immediately left and asked for a refund - which they refused even though we where barely there. If you are searching for a cheap but safe and clean stay look elsewhere...

The property was very misleading on the Expedia website. I was expecting to stay in a hotel, not a motel, and this really disappointed me. The images used and description given made it appear as a hotel, as well as being "by Wyndham." The staff was very late for check-in, the rooms around mine were full of unsavory people that sat outside their rooms talking all the time making me feel as though they just live there, and the bed was very uncomfortable. For a motel, it wasn't too bad, but for the hotel I was expecting, it was terrible.

Dirty and full of bugs
We were on vacation out of state and the room was really dirty I found hair in the bathroom on the floor in the shower and on the sink I found a bunch of red beetles all over the bedroom there was like 20 in the corner behind the door for underneath my mattress a few Behind the Chair some in and under around the TV section I do have video as well I let them know and they didn't even offer any type of $20 off or a free stay anything nothing at all they just said we apologize they don't clean at all

First room had a terrible musty cigarette smell and there were stains on the pillowcases. Switched rooms, the railing if I touched it I would probably need a tetanus shot. It is so rusty and the wooden steps were unstable. The second room was a little better but for the price I paid it was completely overcharged. The beds are so uncomfortable. The breakfast is very very tiny. I would find somewhere else to stay and leave this as a last resort.

First started when we entered and I opened the frig. Towel laying in the bottom soaking up water from the freezer. Then noticed there were 2 screws stuck out of one of the headboards which someone could have done some damage if they hit their head on them. Ice machine not working. Walls pretty thin. Could really hear the TV next door. Would not have gotten in the pool because the water was very cloudy/murky. Breakfast buffet had no butter, no forks.

Didn't set foot in this dump! Total mess outside, with low lifes siting around outside drinking..Beer cans and bottles laying around...My mistake for booking this dump before examing the ratings...Won't make that mistake again. Booked another Hampton Inn close by.

Upon arrival they could not provide the type of room I reserved and paid for. We got to the room the bathroom was quite disgusting. It has costly not been cleaned very well, the beds had dirty and stained linens. No housekeeping the second day so I went to the front desk for towels they said they would have them down in 30 minutes and no one ever showed up. The phone in the room didn’t even work to call. Overall would not stay at this hotel again! Not worth the money I spent.

The reviews were terrible. We stayed there anyway. The reviews weren’t wrong. Some of the rooms were motel style (accessible from the outside) and some were in a separate building. We had two room in the separate building. The door was frequently propped open (you should use you key to access the building).
Our first room was fine. The second room wasn’t ready. At 6pm. They assigned up a dirty room. We went back and got another room. The key pad turned green, but the door wouldn’t open, almost as someone as in there. We went and got another room. 148. It appeared clean, but just like the hallway had an awful smell. I sucked it up and stayed there the night.
The next afternoon we returned to the room after hiking that morning. I walked into the room and decided I couldn’t take the smell. I took pictures of the mold in the bathroom and went to the front desk. They very nicely gave me another room. This one actually smelled and looked clean. No mold.
The pool was fine. Nothing special. Same for the free breakfast.
Every 12 hours we had to go get our keys reset. They said it was because they’re too close to our phones, but I don’t even carry a key I just throw it in my car. And even that one got deactivated. It was a pain.
Overall the staff were great. But I’d never stay here again. The outside is rundown. There’s a lot of trash. It felt gross.

Great spot to stay !!
An impromptu stay that was as good as it could be. Everything from booking, check-in, room cleanliness, the breakfast bar...was great. All for the cheapest price in many miles.

When we first checked in we went to our room and the bed sheets had big pieces and crumbs from food and there were cigarette burns in the sheets, office said they would be right down to change sheets, we left for our event and came back to the sheets not changed but a “new” set rolled up in a ball on the stool .. very unsanitary and unsatisfactory will definitely not recommend or stay again pictures on the site are VERY deceiving..

People hanging out around our building..very dirty outside the entrance to our building, tolit or water had overflowed into the hall and large fans blowing in the hall..the hallway smelled.. room was newer and updated but the halls and entrance and people hanging around the entrance is scary

Front desk was very nice. The room did not have but two towels and no wash clothes. There was no unopened soap. There was a bar in the shower opened. Had to ask for towels and then had to go get them ourselves. There was chips in the floor. I will say this though, the front desk and manager was very nice and helpful.

Don't stay - pay more - go somewhere else
Cigarette butts and french fries littered the flower bed in front of the door. Lighting was almost no existent when entering and the tub had standing water and particles floating in it which turned out to a leak and hole in the ceiling. Tiles were falling off in the bathroom and the door would not close...

Beware….
Our room was dirty.. food crumbs on the floor, trash not emptied in the bathroom, stained bedding and towels, mold stains on the bathroom ceiling. Ants in the bathroom and what looked like a Brazilian waxing gone bad in the shower.. There are two buildings and we were given no direction on where our room was so we searched around forever.. everything smelled like stale smoke. We were seriously nervous about leaving our car in the parking lot unattended. If we hadn’t gotten in so late, we would have left.

The staff was helpful when I decided I wasn’t staying there. However, when I had arrived they were both outside smoking while I was waiting for 5 min at the front desk and I had to go find them. The room was absolutely disgusting. Unidentified dead bugs in the cabinet, bathroom still had someone else’s hair on the floor/shower and an ice cream cup congealed on the floor next to the bed. I would not recommend staying here, you may leave with bugs..

Don’t ever stay here. The hotel was sold out so we had no choice but to make it work. The room was FULL of blood stains. The peep hole was stuffed with a used tissue. Stains on the bedding. Disgusting!!!!

Get what you pay for.
Although reasonably priced this hotel was a disappointment, our room was dirty, bathroom disgusting, torn carpeting ,stained walls. The bathtub tap had a constant drip that was so loud we had to put a towel underneath and keep the door closed to lock the sound. The only saving grace was the bed, it was comfortable and the mattress seemed relatively new. Breakfast was a joke. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.

Quick glance outside gives appearance of a grungy roadside motel. However, rooms are actually pretty nice—very clean, modern amenities, non-smoking, fresh sheets, large tv with good choice of cable tv, bathrooms very clean and dry, warmed rooms, and no hint of that stale wet motel/hotel air that even some seemingly nicer hotels can have. Far from a cheap motel, very comfy, I’d stay here again!

Not a pleasant stay
I booked this place because of my great experience with Wyndham every where else. However, I am very disappointed with this place. The room was clean and large but the place was quite noisy late at night as people were talking in the hall. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable given the price. The breakfast was terrible and dirty. Breakfast stuff looked like they were so old and the waffle maker was so dirty that I wanted to throw up (see the attached picture).

They are in dire need of lighting at the entrance to their driveway. The area is very dark, and you either try to pull into a ditch, or miss the driveway all together! I spoke with the asst. manager about this, and she said they were aware of the issue, but maintenance is unable to fix.

Make sure to know which type of unit you chose
There are two types of property there. One is a motel with entrances from the outside and there is separate building more hotel like. Make sure you know which you are getting.
It is very dark if arriving at night.
Key stopped working and needed to get into the room quickly and the cleaning staff was great in helping.

Property is old and needs refresh. Staff was nice. Single woman traveling alone and needed ice. Ice machine in another building down a steep hill (which I fell hard on my butt as the grass and leaves were wet) and across a parking lot. Building not marked at all. Dark out, 3-4 men standing at entrance of second building, made me kind of leery. They were able to tell me where to find ice. My key card didn’t work in that building. One of the men let me in. Got ice and trekked back to my room. No plug for tub, shower nozzle very low and bathroom, especially ceiling over tub, was severely cracked. There was spilled coffee on the sink/coffee area that hadn’t been cleaned prior to my arrival. As it was very late and I was exhausted, I stayed, but very disappointed and cannot recommend this property. I will say it was very quiet tho.

The location was great- close to Starbucks and IHOP and a few other places to eat.

The location is fine but the property is not safe feeling when you get there-felt more like a transient hotel. Staff at the front desk did not greet me or tell me where my room was-I drove around to find I was in a different building. The building was all redone but it was noisy and the bathroom sink faucet dripped water onto my feet. I would not stay there again.

This property is the worst I have ever seen. Cockroaches in rooms, broken bed and rude staff. We had to get a refund and stay elsewhere because of the conditions. We have small children and there were people partying outside. None of the pictures are what it looks like at the hotel. They charged $200 a night and it’s maybe worth $30. Absolutely disgusting and would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was assigned a handicapped room by Expedia. It had no desk, the reservation and confirmation photos showed a desk. I HAD to have a desk. Very run-down property. This is as much a review of Expedia as of the property. I don't know how Wyndham allows thee property to retain it's flag.

Old rundown motel
I was very surprised that this is a "Wyndham" property. Maybe they stole the name. This is a very old, rundown motel. The pool was clean and the room was clean with clean sheets, but the washcloth was dingy dirty. There was paint peeling in the stairs and all around the pool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we left at 6am.

The room smelled musty and had spider’s. There was a lot of out of town construction workers staying in the rooms adjacent to my room. They decided to set outside near my room until 3:00 am with no regard to other occupant’s. No room service the duration of the stay and when I went to the desk to ask for towels they wanted me to bring the used ones back. Unless you’re an out of town construction worker I would stay clear of this place.
