Room and lobby was clean. Close to many activities in area. Staff polite. Breakfast average at best, but when in a hurry, was just enough to keep us going for road trip.

Decent, inexpensive but safe…. give them a try.
I’ve stayed here before….convenient, clean. Breakfast is ALWAYS the same, same items every morning. The new shampoo and conditioner dispensers mounted in the shower were a mystery as to how they worked, so couldn’t use them. The hair dryer didn’t work and I told the front desk to look into it while I was out during the day and it appears no one bothered as the dryer still wasn’t working when I arrived later in the day. It turned out to be the GFCI outlet needed resetting.

This was fine for the price (under $100), nothing better or worse than expected. Some simple things would make it better: 1) lace curtains - as is, there is not privacy unless you close the light-blocking curtains 2) a less sour attitude at the reception desk 3) take-out coffee in lobby and b'fast in a bag for those who miss the 9:30am closing - come on, it can't be that hard.

Okay, but carpets are filthy
A couple tips to those checking in: make sure you check in after the check in time. Apparently if you come early, only certain rooms show as available. I was a bit early and didn't like the first room assigned (it felt unsafe hidden behind an elevator), but after the check in time, they were able to reassign me to a better room. Also, make sure to bring slippers or wear socks, as the carpets are FILTHY. I wore my socks around the room, and they turned black with so much dirt. The carpets could use a shampoo.

Reasonably priced, all that we needed for a one-night stay for a one-time occasion. Room was clean and in order, bed was comfortable.
On the other hand: clerk who checked us in acted bored, spoke in monosyllables. Room keycard was balky, and required repeated attempts to open the door. Lamps were in poor repair, and a floor lamp didn't work at all. door to shower didn't close. Only half of heater controls worked.

In the heart of Vienna
The hotel obviously wasn't in as great as condition as a luxury-or 5-star hotel, but it was nice! The location was great, the staff was friendly and helped me change the room when we had a problem with the first one. It is in need of maybe an upgrade- but when we were there it looked like they were in the process of slowly remodeling rooms. It was an overall good experience, and I would stay here again.

Good location for my business. Checking in was fast. I went to the office at 1000 this morning to see if the associate could give me a print out of what I was charged. He said the computer was locked and he could not. Strange! He said I could go. I would have preferred a different response such as you are all set ma’m AND we’ll mail you a receipt.

The guy at the reception was rude.
And the dealership cross the road was unloading cars middle of the night, and it was very noisy. Woke me up couple of times.

The carpet was sso old and dirty that it was sticky. The toilet did not refill without opening the tank and fiddling with the valve. I'm sure they were aware of that during cleaning. The grounds were well kept.

The property is pretty run down, but was significantly cheaper than others nearby. It looked like they were renovating a section of the rooms, so perhaps it'll be better in the future. The staff was friendly.

Total dump that should not be allowed to host people. Stuff was compensating for all of this. They should be closed until the remodel the property and not allow to charge people to stay there.

The price reflects what you get. IMO it badly needs updating. The breakfast was ok and its well located to the metro. The staff never removed garbage from our room or tidy up beds or replaced towels for the 3 nights we stayed there. Consider booking 3 one night stays if you are planning more than an single overnight.

The room was lower level in a high traffic area and noise from others and vehicles in the lot coming, going, horns, alarms etc made the accomodation a poor choice.
This was also a very damp area...water from air conditioners leaking in multiple locations. Yes it rained but not in the room and nothing would stay dry.
Sideswalks need immediate attention...very unsafe due to cracks and breakage. This is not new. We stayed earlier this year.

I was annoyed that the final bill was not in agreement with what I expected to pay per my email receipt that I received. They charged me an extra $1 for a room safe that I didn’t request nor need. I am a senior on a fixed income and expect to pay for something that I agree on by both parties. I will look elsewhere to stay for my next visit to DC.

Worst hotel say in my life, black mold on the carpet beside the ac until and I didnt notice it until the next morning. Wonderful the AC was blowing black mold on me while I was sleeping all night. No water in the shower the next morning. This place needs condemned and shut down, its not safe.

I stayed here for 10 days , I did not feel welcome because the front desk lady was not nice . I know it is a budget hotel but the breakfast can be better so I never eat it. I called them 4 times about my fridge until now no one has checked it and I have food in it. No one willing to help I ask to help me extend my stay they told me to go do it myself on Expedia . To be honest I feel because of my ethnicity I was treated differently.

This motel was very convenient for the Metro. There is also a large variety of restaurants and shopping all within walking distance from the motel. The breakfast could be better. But, I will definitely stay here for my next trip to DC

The property was OK.to rest my head for one night. The room was quite small and the motel is a little old and outdated. There was mold around areas of the bathtub. Additionally, I did not appreciate my initial interaction with the staff. The reservation clearly said was for two people. However, when I went to ask for a second key and a second parking sticker since my husband was arriving in the moving truck a little later, the staff acted as if I were bothering them and irritated them by asking. When they gave me the additional key and parking sticker it was thrown across the counter at me, which was quite rude. The hotel is located in an area that is walkable to a few major stores and eating facilities, which was a plus.

When I checked in , receptionist provided wrong room ( one bed ) in first time and when I complained with the picture in Website ( two beds ) including the price breakdown , manager changed the room with 2 beds .

Room was fine.
I came at 3pm which was checkin time.
I had to wait 45 minutes for my room
to be ready, and when I went to my
room I had to wait another 20 minutes
for the cleaning staff to finish up.
The staff charged my credit card twice.
I mentioned this and they said that one
would eventually drop off.

Good price and walkable to metro. Carpet in room was so dirty that my clean white socks became brown walking around just in the morning and evening. The shower scalded me every time someone in a nearby room turned on their water.

Good choice for the budget traveler.
Great value and service as a basic, no-frills hotel. Beds and linens are comfortable, there is a TV, fridge, coffee-maker. What else would anyone need? Not modern by any stretch, but clean and safe. Proximity to Wolf Trap is one of the best features.

It was close to where I needed to be for meetings. Walkable to local restaurants. Easy Parking, Nice Breakfast. Pleasant staff for check-in and out. The bed and Pillows were comfy. Towels are actually soft and not like sandpaper. I slept like a baby!

previous guest's hair is stuck on the bathroom wall, and previous guest used soap is still on the soap dish in the bathtub. bathtowel have some stains on it.

Great place to stay if you are planning to visit Washington DC. Only a 25min drive into the city. Very safe and comfortable area with a mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were also very friendly!

Somewhat vintage property that has been nicely updated and maintained. Very clean public spaces as well as guest rooms, good bed and quiet sleeping conditions for us. The staff was courteous and professional.

With nearby hotels all being over $200 for holidays - I chose this dump for 1 night. Ended up leaving after 10 minutes. The manager “Wayland Campbell” is a disgrace to hospitality. I was appalled at the level of disrespect he showed me upon check in. Began yelling with hostile condescension for no reason. Just after I politely inquired about switching rooms. His drone handler boy at the front desk wasn’t nice either. Never antagonize guests or foolishly profile them! Obviously they mistook me for someone else. However that’s no excuse. Quite unreal how many people talk about this guy on Google. Wish I checked the reviews first. Details are disturbingly accurate. Maybe he’s the owner and can’t afford to hire new staff. How else do you explain someone that awful not getting fired? This property is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. AVOID!
