There was what appeared to be construction debris (plaster?) in the hallway near our room 320 on the 3rd floor. Seemed odd. Room was fine. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly. Thank you.

Love the Clemson Univ. Christmas tree! I had a suite which was great! Everything was very clean.
Would like to suggest sugar free syrup be made available on breakfast bar. Disappointed that decaf coffee machine was out of order.

You get what you pay for....
They are in the middle of renovations so there was a lot of construction noises. The wifi was horrible. Bed needs replacing. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was nice and helpful. Parking was good. Cleanliness was good. Things I didn’t like: construction area in hallway right outside door to our room, toilet had no lid on seat and was right beside vanity so if you dropped any of your toiletries - Yuk!

Front desk was friendly! Room was clean but Toilet bowls were dirty when I got the room!!! I gave the cleaning lady a small tip the next day with hope of coming to a clean toilet bowl. I figured the first time was a mistake, I came back with bed not made and same pee stain on the rim of the seat. Lady was very nice! But honestly I felt disgusted having to come to a hotel to clean the toilet seat! This must be a standard to any room and bathroom everywhere.

This hotel isn’t the worst, but it’s definitely not the best either. Positives are a very friendly and helpful staff, pretty good breakfast, and a good location. Negatives for us were a room that smelled musty, only a couple of working outlets in the room, and it was very noisy (mechanical noise all night). We are all sound sleepers, so the noise didn’t really bother us, but it would be bad if you are a light sleeper.

We had reserved a king room and upon arrival, we were told we had 2 queen beds - not what we reserved and paid for; very poor room; the room smelled very musty and like a wet dog; the bathroom was very dirty and toilet crooked on wall; the carpet stunk; bed very uncomfortable; my wife had some bites on her face when we got up to leave on Sunday morning. Very poor experience and we will not ever visit this hotel again.

Quick and easy check in. Actually had maid service everyday which i truly appreciated. Most places avoid giving maid service at all unless requested. Nice clean room comfy beds

We were there celebrating our Grandsons Birthday, also he had just found out he was accepted to med school. So it was a great celebration.

The bathroom was exceptionally small. Towels were dirty. Our room smelled of urine masked by air freshener. It was clear the room had not been updated or painted. There were smear stains on the bathroom door. We paid $300 a night for a really subpar stay.

Horrible room, smelled awful. Room was dirty, sheets dirty, shower dirty. I am stunned at the filth and price of room. Book hotel in March at one price, charge significantly more at check out. 200 more a night. Never again.

The hotel is in a convenient area and it’s a quick drive to restaurants. The breakfast was good. They had hot and cold options. The desk clerk saved the day because the hotel had travel sized deodorant available upon request. I can’t give it a higher rating because the toilet didn’t have a seat cover. It’s unsanitary to flush without the seat cover down.

The hotel needs fresh paint, normal cleaning that doesn’t cut corners. And definitely new beds!!!! Also isn’t there a rule in people going in public communal places wearing descently? There was a guy who come to breakfast without a shirt on, with sweat on him and bust dishing food! For two days

Not the best
The first room I was given reeked of cigarettes and gross-smelling cleaning solution. The second room I was given was the adjacent room. While it didn't reek of cigarettes, there was still a lingering stale stench masked by cleaning products. The bathroom was very dated - low toilet, filthy grout, and grime pushed to the corners of the floor. The room was dark which added to the feeling that all the grossness was hidden.

The room’s walls are apparently too thin. I had to listen to a toddler cry for 2 nights and a woman beating and banging on her door at 12:30am. Worst experience ever

This hotel sucks - do not stay!
Filthy hotel. Changed room twice - carpets and hallways smell musty and the hotel is filthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting. No shower curtain, toilet crooked, closet door rusted shut - does not open. Door frames rusted. Beds uncomfortable.

Welcome to student move-in week!
Run down hôtel that triples its rates during university move-in week. What's more to say? Made our 'hotels to avoid list'. Don't get me wrong, this is business, supply/demand creates inflation... Too old for this and we're paying more for ParentsWeekend in September but at least we'll have a quality hotel for that price range...

Nice, neat, in the middle of a lot of fun exciting places. Wouldn't mind coming back. The only problem I had was, Clemson Alumni I think was having a tailgate party or something when we checked in that lasted out in the parking lot until 11pm. My family and I had been on the road all day. A nine-hour road trip and we were exhausted! I just felt like we should have had a room on the opposite side of the hotel....

The property is pretty old. We were OK with the fact that they allow animals. But, when we checked into our room, it smelled like urine from a dog. We totally appreciate the fact that they allow dogs, but when you check in without an animal, you should be put into a clean room. The young lady at the front desk was very accommodating and put us in a clean room right away.

Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. Seemed like I was bothering them and I can understand that since it was 7pm in the evening. Not the Southern Hospitality I've heard about so much.

Very clean room. Very quiet. Enjoyed my stay. The only issue was that the toilet ring seal was bad and leaked with every flush. The staff was exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

Computer problems at check-in, after 15-20 minutes I asked if they couldn't check us in on paper and we were given key cards. The bathroom was TINY! Giving my son a bath was nearly impossible. Breakfast foods were below par... On the good side, the wi-fi was adequate, the TV worked and had a variety of good channels, plus HBO. Booked less than 24 hours out and got a decent rate, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Would I recommend: no. Will I stay here again:no

This is a very nice hotel. We liked the fact that the bedroom was a separate room from the living area. Although we didn’t use it, there was even a jetted tub. The staff was friendly and breakfast was very good. My only complaint was that there was no USB port for my phone.

The bathroom was full of mold, the AC unit was incredibly loud. The elevator noise was also incredibly loud. Really difficult to get decent sleep. The breakfast was limited, your standard 2 star setup (bagels, cereal, yoghurt cups and a waffle).

The staff were excellent. The breakfast exceeded expectations. The hotel is located in close proximity to the campus, restaurants, and entertainment. The hotel is a bit dated and in need of some improvements. Doors in our room were chipped and coming apart. There was mildew in the bathroom. The walls are paper thin. You could hear our neighbors conversations. This didn't bode well when the folks next door were yelling and screaming at 1am. You would've thought that the marijuana smoke floating through the halls would've helped them sleep.

I found a wash cloth between the bed and the wall (yuck). The reason i was behind the mattress was because the accessible outlets didn’t work to charge our phones. Also, the tub-shower was very slippery and I almost fell a couple of times.

The bed was very comfy, pillows were good, breakfast was nothing special but was a hot one. The toilet in our room was broken, it would rock when sitting on it and the lid was broken also. Location was great compared to the university and my son’s place. I’d stay again.
