The staff was very friendly. They have a really nice breakfast bar. The room was clean quiet and comfortable. They are in a busy area on a busy street. So getting in their parking lot was a challenge.

Almost no maid service; checkin took 35 min because internet was down; room not very clean; the noise from the highway and the loud cars kept me awake; no food service on the property. Staff was friendly. Apparently this property was recently purchased by another chain.

Disappointing
Our room was smaller than promised plus we did not have a sitting area with sofa as the description and picture showed. We had the corner room facing the very loud road out front. We also had an exit door across the hall which slammed every time some one went in or out. The bathroom had one lightbulb in a fixture for three leaving the bathroom dark and dingy. The fixture itself was quite dirty. There were a couple of spots on the walls where the plaster had come off. The bed, towels, shower/tub, and breakfast were all fine.
Because of the noise from outside and dreariness of the bathroom I would not stay here again. The price was not in line with the type of hotel this is.

Water temperature or shower was warm at best. TV didn’t work. At checkin there was standing water in tub, and air was in the lines causing the water to sputter out.

TV didn’t work the entire 7 days I was there, even though I reported it. Door cards had to be manipulated for 5 minutes or more every time I tried to enter the room. Staff was very friendly and provided me with some items I left behind at home. Breakfast was good.

I thought the hotel was very nice, a few things weren't great but not worthy of dropping it to 4 stars. The pool was heated and the kids swam. We stayed for the price and the lication, very close to the zoo and airport. Left a bit too early for the breakfast but even without it the price was good. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall it was nice and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I liked that they individually wrapped each bread item. They did run out of things at times. We had an issue with the shower faucet and tab, but didn't want to have them work on it while we were there. Good for the price.

Easy check in. Luis at front desk was fantastic, very friendly and professional. Room was clean, bed comfortable. However, hotel needs lots of TLC. Also, I could hear all noises from busy road.

For a hotel, very decent. Rooms seemed clean, staff was helpful, fair price, gym, outdoor pool, it was close to the highway and 15 min from downtown Phoenix.
The breakfast was complimentary and hot. It consisted of instant yellow eggs, sausage patties, thin bacon, waffles, yogurt, bagels, toast, packaged muffins, cereal, milk, juice, water, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. However, on Sunday morning there was eggs, sausage patties, and a variety of yogurt avaliable, but no bacon. On Monday morning, there was eggs, sausage and bacon available, but no yogurt. And on Tuesday morning, there was sausage patties, bacon and Yoplait yogurt but no eggs (like, at all). How can you have your hot bacon and sausage without eggs? (You can obviously, we did.) So keep in mind that the breakfast may have (or have a lack of) variety.
Here are some negatives: There was a Gentlemen's Club across the street from the hotel, it was next to busy traffic, the weight room could use some maintenance, and the bathtub drain was partly clogged, causing it to drain slowly.

It was right next to a strip club that was loud at night. The rooms where big and nice and clean just very old and in need of a lot of repairs. It did look like they were starting to repair things downstairs.

Had to return to the front desk 3 times within 15 minute of check in because the keys didn’t work in the door. Just to get moved completely out of the room. Went out to eat, came back the key wouldn’t work again

The hotel wasn’t ready for our reservation- we had an hour long wait after our original check in time. Once the room was ready our sheets were dirty. We asked for new sheets and the housekeepers were very angry and spoke in Spanish to mock us. They said the sheets were stained that color. The mattresses and pillows were very uncomfortable and stained.

This property needs to be updated and TLC.
We left and went to another hotel on our last night, we just couldn't stay another night so we paid for a nice hotel with hot water on our last night in town. We took cold showers both days and that was it, we paid and went to another hotel. No one should have to take cold showers on their vacation. The only good thing was the bed was very comfortable, nothing else was worth talking about. Won't stay there again or any Comfort Inn ever.

Great choice by the airport.
We stayed our first and last night in and out of Phoenix and wanted to be close to the airport. The hotel definitely a great choice in terms of location, price, cleanliness and comfort. We stated in larger room which is well worth it. Love having the make your own waffle option for breakfast.

Online photos seem to be when this Comfort Suites was new. It was not "bad" but obviously heavily used by the near by college town. There are no eateries close by. We booked a suite and had need for the pull-out sofa bed but there was no bedding for that in the room. and the next morning there was NO hot water.

At 0200 in the morning the front desk provided a room key to guest for the room my kids and I were staying in. The man tried to unlock the room door two different times. When I checked out at 0250 that same morning the front desk asked me about the incident and somewhat apologized by saying the wrong key was issued twice to my room. But I want to pint out that from 0200-0250 no phone call was made to notify me of the mistake and the front desk didn’t check on us until I checked out. My kids did not feel safe staying there after the incident. The hotel is also next to the freeway and the windows are so thin you can hear the vehicles.

Very dated, strong cleaning supplies smell in the room, hallways and elevator. Very loud at night (I guess they have single-pane windows, and we were in the back of the property). Crappy sheets, old carpets. The first floor looked like it went through a flood.
We booked for 3 nights and left after the first. Very uncomfortable, poor sleep with strong smell of cleaning products.
The hotel refused to reimburse us the remainder of the nights. We booked at the premium as they had a number of events in the area. I would not pay $100/night for it.

Three was no storage available for us to put our bags in after checkout. We had to check out at 11AM, had a flight at 11PM and no where to store our belongings. When I inquired about this prior to our trip I was told that I would have to wait until we were on property to ask. I inquired. Was told I had to wait until the morning of our departure. Was told there was no space available anywhere on the property to store our belongings. Extremely inconvenient!

All staff was very friendly and courteous, beds were comfortable. We love the waffles at free breakfast. We just trade out towels and trash bags as needed and they were friendly and happy to help. Best part was we came to meet our brand new grandson and he lives 2 min around the corner! We enjoyed the hottub and pool and most times we had to ourselves

Staff was very friendly! They allowed me to store my luggage until checkin. The breakfast was better than I expected I recommend adding it to your stay. Poor customer service
Absolute money grabbing thieves. Zero change policy leaves no room for booking mistakes. Issue with hotels dot come site caused a booking for two weeks out. Could not get a single person on the phone. They refused to change the booking to the next night even with vacancies. Incredibly terrible policies and customer service that really is just stealing money. Beware! Done staying here and done with hotels for com.

They had just had a boiler blow out and flood 1st floor so dryers running 24hrs a day. Rooms were clean , breakfast was very well done enjoyed that. Staff was friendly.

I guess they had some sort of water issue so the lower level was filled with fans and caution tape. They hardly acknowledged it and the night guy spent all night on the phone.
The drapery was too short with no side panels, so when the sun rose it lit up in there.
Breakfast was ok, location was decent.

The good = comfortable bed and large rooms.
The bad = homeless on drugs out front of the lobby during check-in, digging through the trash and acting in unsafe manor. Dehumidifiers running in entire first floor. Property not maintained, desperately needs a paint job. Carpet in hotel room in need of attention. No hot water for shower. Try to call front desk and it doesn’t connect.

I’ve stayed here before. No complaints. I could nitpick and say the vending area is weak—no bottled water!! It’d be nice to have a little ‘commissary’ next to the front desk to buy candy, drinks, microwaveable snacks etc

Friendly staff and cleanliness is on point. The only thing I didn’t like is that we arrived at 5am and heard a lot of noise around 8am, being on the first floor. Example, vacuum, a lot of traffic down the hall way talking. Wish I had an upper floor room. If I would have known. I guess next time I will ask for an upper floor room. But other than that everything was good.

Easy access to the freeway and ASU. It was confusing to have the property listed as Comfort Inn Tempe/Airport. We didn't know which one we were going to. List them separately. Hard to find late at night. Overall a nice stay with a HOT jacuzzi and warm pool.

Great hotel
We stayed one night at this hotel. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have a remote for the TV in the room when we got there. We called down to the front desk and they got us one right away. The breakfast included the normal items, but did have some hot items (sausage patties, eggs, and potatoes). We would definitely stay there again.

Do not stay here and do not book with Hotels.com. I made reservation online about one hour prior to arriving at the motel. Hotels.com had no problem taking my payment and sending it over to the property, who also had no problem taking my money. All just to tell me that they didnt accept debit cards and needed a major credit along with a $250 deposit. I stated that i did not have a credit card and already paid inline by phone. They didnt care. I was told that my family and i couldnt stay. Here we are stuck in a big city with

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There were holes in the wall - not small holes, I could put my fish through them. There was no shade on our window, just a paper - towel this shade, which looked out onto a lit parking lot. There were bugs crawling in the bathroom. Someone above our room, at 2 am, sounded like they were building furniture. This is the worst example of a La Quinta I could have imagined - I’ve always used La Quinta. Never again. Would love my money back. The only reaso. We didn’t leave is because we got to the hotel at midnight after driving 15 hours from Arizona. Disgusting experience

Help desk was a joke, the lady at the desk screwed up and charged me twice for a room. afterwards said it was my fault and refused to fix the issue. Also refused me my room key after I had payed for it twice and then proceeded to request a 3rd payment in order to receive my room key!

I didn’t stay . I was trying to book a room for daughter who was refused service because of she was only 20. I live in CO and she was stranded with a broken down vehicle and needed a safe place to stay. Who ever works the lobby was extremely rude and a request for a refund was denied. Will never stay in a comfort inn again.

Located next to a construction storage yard and across the street from a gentleman's club, these were the best features of this property, which was dirty and dusty with an unpleasant odor.
Additionally, using Expedia for this booking means that the hotel will not provide a detailed receipt for expense reports.
NOTHING GOOD HERE ... you would be better off paying more for another property.

The room was very roomy, the bed was comfortable, however the room was dark. Our room was on the first floor so we didn’t open the drapes because the parking lot was right there. There were numerous lamps, but they needed brighter bulbs. The bathroom especially needed better lighting for the mirror.

This was a nice hotel with a good breakfast. Be aware that there are 2 hotels with the same name about 10 minutes apart. So verify the address before driving there.
