This is an updated hotel. You have a choice of pillows which is nice. The mattress is a little too soft for my taste. I prefer a little firmer one. The bathroom and room were clean with plenty of towels.

Comfortable motel at a decent price.
The motel was adequate and probably the best motel in Morris with the exception of the newer Holiday Inn Express, which is very pricey. It is dated and needs a complete remodel. Other than that it met our needs for a decent place to sleep and shower. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is cereal, waffles and breakfast sandwiches.

I basically spent two nights sleeping in the hotel, and was gone the rest of the time. My room was very clean and attractive, and the bed was wonderful. However, the first night a smoke alarm went off and rang for quite sometime. I understand this, but it did interrupt my short time for sleep. The second night, I didnt get back to the room until 1:30 am. When i walked in, the smell of mildew was terrible! Ir had been raining, but the smell was so overpowering. I did report bith of these to the morning desk clerk. I loved the convenience of location and the price. I will be travelling to Morris once a month or so; not sure if i will chance thi a hotel again or not.

Enjoyed the stay but found the eating options very limited as all we saw as we drove around Morris on Hwy 47 & 6 were fast food restaurants.

Overnight stay at Comfort Inn in Morris
The room and bed were very clean. A few things could be updated but all in all it was very nice. We were very happy with the service and room. Quiet and seemed pretty secure.

The hotel looked nice and appeared to be recently renovated. Breakfast options were very limited. Our non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. Otherwise it would have been 4 stars.

The staff were very friendly and nice. Allowed us extra time in the hot tub when it should have been closed. Housekeeping was prompt and courteous. The negatives were that the rooms were musty smelling, chair was torn, carpet was nasty with rips. We asked to move to another room because of that and weāre accomandate however the second room was much better but still musty and outdated.

Booked it for location, pool and breakfast. Breakfast wasnāt good, pool was closed. Beds were comfy. Poor design of building if you arenāt on first floor.

I didnāt like that the pool was closed. The room was supposed to be an accessible room. It was so small both of our walkers barely fit. And the shower chair only fit sideways in the bathtub which made showering safely very hard. Needless to say we probably wonāt use Comfort Inn again. We picked there for the poolādisappointing we couldnāt use it.

What was obviously once a fairly decent hotel is now getting a bit ragged around the edges. The bathroom is minuscule and the tub / shower floor is like an ice skating rink. Bed quality was decent and a huge tv. AC unit was quite loud but kept the place cool on a hot night. Breakfast was pretty basic, but since they had Raisin Bran, I was happy.

Evening front staff were very friendly. The pool was unavailable for our 5 day stay. The room had mold on ceiling and was not clean in the bathroom. Very small bathroom.

Rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant. Parking in the main lot was a little small, but found there is a safe lit directly behind the property for a truck and trailer. Easy access and comfortable, would book again

The service was not bad, but the hotel room was not cleaned well. There was hair in the bath tub, and the shower head, bathroom in general, and light fixtures were dirty. We husband two spiders in our room. The building just seemed outdated. However, it was quiet and convenient. The bed was not uncomfortable. We were able to use the hot tub, and that was a plus.

Enjoyed our stay here. We came in late and left very early. Breakfast and coffee were available when we left at 4:45am. Only thing we didnāt like is the coffee cups were tiny! For travelers it would be nice to have a larger cup to travel with. Staff was friendly and efficient.

The staff and service are great. The room I stayed in smelled like dirty feet. The carpet in my room between the hallway and the bathroom was torn out with exposed nails from the tackboard visible. My foot came in contact with them. This room was $172 with tax and did not meet my expectations. We visit this area a few times a year and will not return to this location.

We stayed one night. Young lady at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. Greeted us with smile and soft welcoming voice. Later I told her our tv had a screen glitch and she offered to change the room. We did not change the room just wanted to advise of the issue with tv. Rooms were clean and neat. Bathroom was clean and neat.
Pool area was clean and neat We would stay here again due to friendliness and cleanliness.

I think the customer service was awesome. I do think that the outside of the property needs updating. They were changing out mattresses so they old ones were all over but at least they swap them out! Wish they had a gym and the pool needs updating. The breakfast was decent but could use some fruit or more protein ideas. The room was very clean which is always appreciated. Front desk check in was pleasant.

While the room seemed updated and okay the hall ways seemed very dated, worn and drab. The elevator to the 2nd floor was at the far end of the hotel (no where near the main entrance and check in). So after checking in, you have to walk with your luggage very far to the elevator then go to the 2nd floor then walk way back down the hall to your room. Exhausting way to get to your room. Free breakfast was pretty basic.

Some of the disappointments are not under management control, but some are. For example: the hotel is labeled as pet friendly but it does not provide bags or container for disposal. In the bathroom, it would be nice to have conditioner for ladyās hair. There are no coffee makers in the room. The carafes in the lobby had cold coffee.

An average budget hotel at a higher than budget price far away from Chicago. Forget about the breakfast; all unhealthy food packaged several months ago...? Terrible... the room was cleaned well, thank you for that.

We rented the room for a nearby wedding, that was a couple of hours from where we live. We just needed somewhere to change clothes, and somewhere to get a little bit of sleep before hitting the road.
The smell in the room was so awful, that after the wedding we just packed up and started our drive back home.

Musty, old & š Gross. Needs many repairs.
Walked in. Front desk area was clean & organized. As we walked down hallway is smelled musty& humid. Carpet old & pool area looked very bad. We were told that the pool was under construction with water still in it. Gross. Got to the room & it was worse. Carpet had holes in it. Bathroom ceiling looked like it was moldy & joint tape was falling off. Room was humid & smelled old & musty. Gross. Turned on AC unit & ceiling fan in the bathroom. Too tired to complain. Breakfast was very basic!! It wasn't worth the price that we paid. Surprised it had the Comfort Inn logo.

Somewhat older hotel, but nicely kept up. Friendly staff, everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Our bathroom was TINY, but we worked it out. Breakfast offerings were a bit sparse, but Raisin Bran did the trick. Overall, a much better deal than their nearby competition.

Best customer service we had on our whole trip!
Best checkin ever!! We got there earlier then expected. Just wanted to check in to be sure we got a first floor room due to husbands mobility issueā¦not even expecting to get into the room. She not only got us into the room but she walked me down to see the room to make sure it was accessible for him. Excellent customer service.

It was obvious that the bed linen had not been changed. We found hair in the sheets.
One of the table lamps didn't work.

Smelled like ash tray
The place smelled like ashtray, 24 hours later and my clothes still smell like the smelly room, the toilet didnāt flush, the lights didnāt work, people had their little dog off leash, and when I took my dog outside I had to go back in bc they wouldnāt put theirs on a leash. It smelled so bad, and there were no options for breakfast for people with allergies. The bathroom walls were cracked, there was mold behind the toilet, and the shower head was completely rusted. I was told this was a no smoking hotel and it smelled like the inside of a smoking restaurant in the 1980ās.

Needed a place to sleep and found this while traveling through. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had barely anything. Very minimal. Room couldāve used some TLC. This hotel could use a makeover and remodel. Have stayed at worse places but not sure Iād stay again. Definitely overpriced.

Stay was okay. Staff was friendly and courteous. Motel was built many years ago and needs a remodel and update very badly. Not enough outlets and no USB ports for electronics and battery charging. Tiny bathrooms and toilet seat was falling off (I find this to be a problem at many motels & they don't know how or are too lazy to tighten the plastic bolts that hold the seat on). Mattresses need to be replaced, even though they were adequate to get a decent night's sleep. Generally clean. Breakfast bar wasn't much to brag about. We usually stay in Holiday Inn Express, but the one in Morris was very expensive so we settled for the Comfort Inn.

Check in was easy, quick and personable. Kudos to Keegan for her wonderful job of handling multiple check-ins at one time with ease, efficiency and friendliness.
The property is clean, eco-friendly with dining options walkable. A Chilis Grill and Bar beside the hotel and an IHop 3 minute walk.
Friendly staff all around.

Pleasant Stay
We were able to book this room after Holiday Inn Express canceled our reservation without notifying us until we were driving to Morris. The staff was wonderful and the room was as to be expected. They served a hot breakfast in the morning so everything you would want from a stay. Thanks for the friendly service. We would definitely stay at Comfort Inn in Morris IL if we are ever in the area again.

We chose to stay here do to the ratings and the price. The rooms looked clean but both had the smell of musty movie theater. The carpets in both rooms were stained and did not feel clean when walked on barefooted. We chose to wear socks.

The front desk guy was helpful. The bed bug we found in our first room 118 was very disappointing. The second room was better but thereās black mild In the bathroom aboce the tub and the coffee maker and ice bucket are next to the toilet. Yuck.

I think that this hotel is a waste of money, the whole upstairs area smells terrible, toilets donāt flush, showers donāt drain, the room phones donāt work, and not to mention my room had belongings from other people left in it so who knows if it was even cleaned. And the hot tub is out of order for god knows how long but I believe it is still advertised.

Unfortunately the pool was closed. Someone took a baby swimming in a diaper and the diaper exploded. They had to close the pool for decontamination. It is open again because that was temporary, but the hot tub is still closed.

The stay itself was OK, just there to sleep and shower basically. Unhappy about the limited breakfast provided. Especially no individual milk or yogurt. Same packaged sandwiches and muffins every day. We had to buy our own milk, fruit and cereal and other breakfast foods. The coffee was AWFUL. So weak you could see through it.

Comfortable, clean, friendly people. The bathroom was a little bit small, and some older construction. Not a brand new place, but well maintained and clean. No critters.. Friendly people at check in and other guests were friendly too. What was supposed to be a couch ended up being a chair so we had to pay 10 dollars extra for a cot but overall good stay.

Over night stop
Needed a place to get some sleep while on a overnight road trip. Hotel clean and cheap but the beds were terrible, mattress felt like laying on a half fill air bed. Every time you moved you would sink in. You could feel the spring pushing out the side of the mattress

The room was clean but there wasnāt much room in the bathroom to move around the door is so close to the tub and toilet. And I get the going green. But one ply toilet paper is just plain cheap. You have to use twice as much to get the Same job donāt and is not soft by any means.

Clean hotel! Rooms were as expected for a 2.5 star facility. Service was hit or miss. 2 of the front desk personnel were very good, a third one seemed like she didnt want to be there. Breakfast was above average for this type of accommodations.

We planned a quick mid-week kayak trip with our family of four. We were hesitant to stay at a hotel during COVID, but the hotel was very clean and social distancing instructions were visible throughout the lobby. The room was basic, yet clean. Our only complaint would be that the bathroom was really small. Overall, great bang for the buck and we would stay here again.

A Romantic Getaway
Our room was very clean and very quiet. Even though we did not swim, the pool looked very clean and inviting. The area was very convenient. The front desk was very friendly!
I would stay there again for sure!
