This place is pretty rundown, but it’s cheap. The property it’s on is very nice. if they would redo the bathrooms, it would be an inexpensive place worth staying at.

Lots of after dark activities going on at this location. You can’t even park cause others who are visiting others in rooms take all the space up. Staff was like irritated because you interrupted the conversation they were having. I give it. 3

Should be rated as a .0001-star Inn. The room smell very bad when we opened the door, a full can of air spray later we entered. To start the carpet was so dirty you could have planted a garden in it. The bathroom was horrible, the exhaust fan was broken and hanging down. The white tile on the shower was brown with filth and the handle to the bath door was broken. Worst of all there was blood on the comforter. Only one TV worked and the on that one was very blurry. The pictures one the website are very miss leading. Stange people walking up and down the front of our room constantly trying to look in. Not a place to stay ever. Forgot the chair in the shower was multicolored with dirt.

There are drug deals going on in parking lot. There were roaches and ants in the room. The linen was awful. Never again will I stay at this hotel

I really like the suites and housekeeping is amazing. On the other hand the office/management staff are not what I would describe as polite nor kind! Especially this older lady at the front desk in the morning, she complains about everything her job entails. The management is awfully nosy.

Mixed Emotions :-)
Not a very good experience! Room was supposed to be non-smoking. The hotel does have smoking rooms. We questioned whether or not our room was a smoking room as some point. Floors, furniture, desk-top light fixtures were not very clean. Room was very "dated" as opposed to being updated, i.e., bathroom sink/vanity, commode, but, etc. However, we had a nice view of the lake from our balcony.

At the arrival the desk person allowed me to checking earlier which was nice since Im a nightshifter and just needed a bath and quick sleep. He was friendly and cordial. Check in was fast and convenient. My stay was nice receiving a clean bedroom, clean sheets, clean towels, bathroom was spot less. No bugs that I could notice in my room. If I were going to add negative into the narrative I would really have to nick pick would be table chairs were kind of tight to sit but skinny people would not have that problem. And ants in the breakfast area thats it. Everything else 5 star.

We rented two rooms next to each other. The sheets on one bed had make-up stains on it,and the bathroom had mold around the soap dish and in the corners. The other room one of the comforters had a stain on it that looked like old blood, the shower was moldy and rusted. The people working the front desk when we checked in and out were very nice. We were in town for a volleyball tournament so didn't have time to address the issues while we were there. Definitely, disappointed and won't recommend to anyone or stay there again.

Tv in original room wasn’t working, and our only option was to change rooms. So we did. There was a weird big ant kinda bug crawling up the bathroom wall. Asked for a late checkout but the front desk said only to 11:30 anything later needs to be ok’d by GM when he comes in. Although not sure he would be in before regular check out time. Ugh! Why she couldn’t call him at a decent hour is beyond me. She talked to me with food in her mouth. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Packaged burritos but no hot sauce, a waffle maker, very small coffee cups, and packaged muffins. No bagels, cream cheese, or other toast items. I guess you get what you pay for.

The dark cold room
None of the lights turned on from the switch. Had to use phone to see. Had a broken Tv behind a bad tv that the remote didn’t work with. Holes in the walls. Sticky floors. No hot water. Some drunk guy at midnight tried to get in my room. The bed was comfortable and clean

enjoyed the Gazebo over the lake
everything was perfect! Very nice reception person took care of us. Walked 1 block to the Vietnamese/Sushi/Hibachi restaurant for dinner. I really liked the Gazebo out over the lake -- very peaceful!

I loved everything about the property. The price the cleanliness and the staff were amazing. They let us do a later check out because I had a business zoom meeting that ran over the time of checkout. I will definitely stay here again

Peace and Quiet
I wanted to get away by myself for some peace and quiet rest. I had requested a ground floor handicap room. It was clean and the shower chair and grip bars helped tremendously. It was also so peaceful and quiet. I always pick this hotel when I want some quiet. The only issue was check out is 11am and the maid was banging on my door at 9am and woke me up. Other than that, no complaints.

Expected Quality
I am a former Front desk clerk/supervisor in hospitality. I was less than impressed with the staffs friendliness. I booked through a third party and I expected a buffet breakfast as that is what was advertised, there was a limited continental breakfast. Our room smelled of stale cigarettes and mildew. Maintenance was caulking in the bathroom prior to our arrival and failed to pull up the painter’s tape.

If you need a place to stay just a few miles from downtown Mount Dora that is clean, safe and quiet, this is the place for you. I have stayed here several times and have always been pleased.

The Stairwell not taken care of looks like it has not been cleaned for a longtime
upon entering the Room there was a smell and the bathroom door looked like someone kicked it made a hole in it

1) I made a reservation one month before for Expedia and it wasn’t in the system.
2) Breakfast, at 9:00am we took the last food and we couldn’t find forks, spoons and knives - that was on Sunday, December 10th.

Bad business.
Staff NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL.
No instructions of where was the room.
Got locked out twice out of the room, keys didn't work.
Hallway and stairs dirty and wet.
Check out 0700am there was NOBODY at the count.

The room was smelly, the shower had mold in the grout, the microwave was rusted and cooked food in the interior creases, no ironing board. I asked for an ironing board from management, they promised they would bring in 10 minutes. It never showed. The room phone did not work, even to call the front desk or 911. Terrible. Would not recommend.

There was way too much mold around the bathtub, it should be re-caulked. There was long black hair in the coffee pot and attached to the hand towel. The sink drain was slow too drain, so we pulled out the stopper and it was called with mold and hair.

Being in construction for 40 years We were disappointed with the condition the bathroom ceiling framing was all rusty and shower tiles were broke and there was mould around the shower head. Also the tv reception with cable was horrible. Other than that we were comfortable. you might as well not advertise a continental breakfast because other than some yogurt , coffee, and some Fruit Loops, you better go out to breakfast. Don’t think we’ll be back!

Owners have done a good job of sprucing the place up. Nice office area, small but nice breakfast area, friendly service from staff!
When we checked in our room was in the rear of the building. There were numerous people hanging out back there which at first made it seem unsafe however it did turn out fine and we stayed several days.
Rooms could use updating. Bed sheets had been repaired-patched which was strange.
Staff were helpful as previously noted and tried very hard which we appreciated.

Reception staff (young man) was very helpful and welcoming.
Fridge in rm 111 was in poor condition ie not cooling with pools of water inside. Room was non smoking but smoke seemed to be entering through vent as it smelled at times like there was someone smoking.
Lakeside location was nice and breakfast was acceptable, given a price that was reasonable.

I would never stay here again! I asked to be put on the first floor because i had a ton of things to carry in. Well the first floor was down 6 steps and the parking lot ended and my room was still 100 feet away. More then anything, i did NOT feel safe! The room was disgusting and smelled funky. In the morning, a man came banging on a neighbors door demanding her to give him money and they screamed at each other for over 30 min. I was supposed to be leaving at this time for an appointment but i was to scared and stayed in the room til it quieted down. I wouldnt recommend anyone stay here.

The staff was nice for sure, its location is good and the property is big. The room was supposed to be non-smoking and it smell like a smoke, so bad that I was not able to sleep because of my allergies. We found little dead cockroaches and the shower was falling apart. One of the beds in the room was broken. I did not complained cUse I did. Ot wanted to waste my time going to another old and dirty room.

Worst Hotel I have EVER stayed at!
The front desk attendant was ill equipped for his job. Chris is not helpful, takes no responsibility and thinks his computer talks as he says he doesn't understand anything we were saying and his computer "tells him" things. He is a pure embarrassment for this hotel company. The room was extremely outdated and smelled of must. Ants on the bathroom counter and crawling up the wall. Rusty closet doors. I could go on and on but it just makes me so angry. I have never been so happy to LEAVE a hotel as i was today. Do yourself a BIG favor and spend you money elsewear! You might save some sanity and avoid all awful experiences we had.

Overpriced
Given that this location is out of walking distance of Mount Dora, the room looked and smelled a bit old and looked shoddy, $230 a night (including taxes) is way too much. This place reminded me of a cheap motel, despite the "Quality Inn" moniker.

Unfortunately our room was not clean we killed a spider on bed there were dead bugs on window sill it was musty smelling air was not taking out humidity in room it was clammy and musty I wrote on the dresser dust me that’s how much dust it was late when we got back to room or else we would have left very disappointed we have stayed her many times oh also a whole in the bathroom door for 176.00 dollars a night this should not be

There was candy under the bed unwrapped. From a previous guest. The sink was not very clean and there were streaks on the mirror
I did not shower there so did not look at the tub.
The room was musty and smelled of stale smoke and it was a non smoking room. The ac was loud and was barely working making banging screechy noises.
The blankets smelled like sweat.
The breakfast was pretty slim pickings
The hotel was loud with people in the parking lot “ partying”
Then going back to their rooms and slamming doors

Eye Opener.....
This was the dirtiest Motel/Hotel I have ever seen. As we entered our first room we were hit with a very strong odor which might be mold...our second room has carpet that I would not stand on without shoes and the bathroom ceiling was covered with mold....it was late for us and tired from driving so we stayed only to sleep and leave.

The front desk guy was welcoming. The room was very dated. The couch was stained and misshapen. The bathroom floor and tub had hair. I could get my money back from Expedia, so I bought cleaning products from the dollar tree down the road. I only needed to spend one night there. The air conditioner was noisy, but the lake view was nice. I wouldn’t stay there again.

We checked into room 113 and found the toilet clogged up with feces and a big bucket with plunger there. Requested move and had to take a room on second floor and stairs can b difficult. Then the key to second floor didn’t work. The front desk guy came by and gave new keys and was polite and asked what happened. The lady at front desk did not apologize. Breakfast abd furnishing were sub par. First time issue with quality inn. Very disappointed

Ceiling areas had what looked like black mold, and badly painted over. And also a bug issue. Sheets n towel where white and no stains so those were clean. Did tell front desk they apologized and said they will handled it. I personally will do better research of area to find better place

Staff was nice, clean room and big comfy beds and pillows. Nice pool. Free breakfast consisted of wafer maker (no sugar-free syrup available), muffins, yogurts, breakfast burrito, 3 different cereals, instant oatmeal, juice and coffee. All tasty but no hot, cooked food available or toaster.
Only complaint was the bathroom door in Room #117 did NOT close.
I recommend this hotel and reiterate very clean.👍😀

The property is ok if you're looking for a place to lay your head for 2 nights. I got an extended checkout at bo additional cost, which I appreciated. The bathroom bath is outdated but ok. It was a non smoking room and it lived up to that name.

Probably will not stay again
The hotel definitely needs some updates. There was chipping pant on the walls and the carpet was very old and dirty. The tub had rust in it, the bathroom door was coming apart and I would say that the water was warm at best. Outside of our room there was the strong odor of marijuana and on our second night we came back to the police outside of a room a couple doors down. The staff was pleasant at check-in and that process was easy however that will not be enough for me to stay again.
