Great Place for the Money
If you are looking for a nice clean affordable hotel with good service, you shouldn’t be disappointed at all. I’ve paid a lot more for alot less elsewhere.

Horrible staff response, no obvious security, noisy all night with partying guests and whizzing by large trucks on Mayport road making noise all night. AC/Heat shotty at best, limited bath towels, non draining tub. I could go on but this is the gist

Our stay was to go see our son's ship arrive from deployment. The room was decent and comfortable. Our safe did not work and when we reported they said the maintenance person would come by to look at it, well he never showed. People staying below us were super load and had kids just running around and yelling.

Good for a quick overnight stop and go. The lady that checked me in was very pleasant I should have gotten her name. She was lgbtq (no offense or judgement just want her to get kudos). She had a bomb haircut too 😀 The other lady was nice as well (long hair, bomb eye shadow combination). Thanks. I will say the room was nice but the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Back of door was dirty (fingerprints and smudges) shower had several strands of hair.

The property is reputedly in good condition and visitors are favorably impressed. However, I had a major problem with the reservation. I intended to reserve a room for four nights in mid-February. I noticed on the confirmation I received from the hotel that the reservation was for only one night and on today’s date (Jan 25). I called the hotel to change the reservation but they informed me that because the reservation was for today and not for sometime in the future, they could not change it and I had to go back to the third party (Expedia) to get the change. Expedia had a change charge. They would not relent and cared less that it was an erroroneous reservation. Absolutely the last time I will use Expedia. My only recourse is to dispute the $81 charge with my credit card company. Maybe suggest fraud, exploitation, or usary-like fees. Caveat emptor!

First time staying here and for the price, is a good place, rooms are clean overall, beds are comfy and location is great (entrance room doors are not too clean), I come to Jax for medical reasons so this works great for the purpose!

The staff was very accommodating when I checked in and worked to give me a room downstairs so I could carry my elderly lame dog outside when needed. The room was surprisingly nice for the cost and very clean. It had a microwave,refrigerator and coffee maker. The free Breakfast included waffles , scrambled eggs and sausage .
Turned out to be a welcomed end to a very stressful day I was having .

Is not my style of temporary living. This is a level up from a model, when I first walked in it smelt off and there was a strain of hair on the bed. In addition fixture we’re rusted and it seems like the walls were thin so I was not able to sleep in addition to feeling like the front door would open. Overall not a terrible place due to price would I stay here again alone nope. P.S the one check in staff was great, Justin I believe his name was.

Not a good place. Tons of drug activity and really strange people around. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Bed was comfortable and actually got some good sleep when I finally feel asleep.

The first room they had us in had rips and cig burns on the sheets and knife holes in the chair. The bed wasn't clean. Then I asked to be moved to another room and it was just as bad. The sheets had hairs in them and were wrinkled and dirty. I had my own mattress with me and my own sheets, so I made it through barely. Aso there were roaches in the room.

They were all out of bedrooms with King bed even though thats what we had paid for. So we were given a roon on the first floor. Upon looking at the room, especially the bathroom had roaches. Not Palmetto bugs but roaches, baby roaches. We asked for different room as well on the second floor and we just didn't want to take the chance in being roaches home.

I was contractually forced to stay at a lot of 4 star and 5 star hotels when my kids played travel soccer. They were way overpriced and the services were mediocre at best. I stayed at this Quality Inn and got the best service ever at a reasonable price. I conversed with the manager and he is genuinely engaged in delivering the best customer experience. This hotel is unique in my experience and I would recommend it if you are staying in Jacksonville

My wife and I had a very nice room. The king sized bed was very comfortable with what seemed to be a memory foam mattress. We enjoyed the large bathroom with the walk-in shower. The motel was close to everything we wanted to see.

This is my second time staying at this property within a 2 week span. Our first time was incredible with very minimal issues. This time definitely had a couple hiccups.. The original room we were assigned had a pretty bad odor and tiny roaches scattered as soon as we entered, so staff on duty was thankfully able to move us to the same room we had in our previous stay. Upon entering that room, we had even more roaches than the last and they were much bigger. We killed several and staff brought some spray in and sprayed around the room herself. Although we were still very uncomfortable we forced ourselves as well as my 7mo son to sleep to try and ignore and managed to get a couple of hours of sleep before we had to leave early. Management has graciously agreed to take care of us after our experience. I just ask that this bug infestation be properly addressed/managed and only then would I stay here again.

The property was different from the images and it seems that this property has a lot of live in or longer term older residences. The room was made up with everything that we could need but was definatly not cleaned very well beforehand as the shower still had hair in the tub and the walls were coated with some kind of dirt. The breakfast was convenient and available until around 10 am and the check in receptionist was very polite and helpful, but the lobby did reek of cigarettes'.
Overall this inn was more like a motel. Had very thin walls and was not the cleanest. This isn't a fancy inn and you get what you pay for but I would not stay again.

Great little hotel that was clean and friendly staff. The only issue was very low water pressure in the shower and room was clse to busy road so traffic noise was an issue in the early evenings.

We arrived late at night, the front was not lit very well. When we spoke to the front lady she was on FaceTime with someone and went though she spoke to me it was rude to be on FaceTime while trying to check us in to the room. When we arrived to the room, there were small things we noticed that was unclean such as the front around the beds, some small stains around the walls etc., the tv did not work well and when we called the front desk there was no answer we gave up and we went to bed. When I woke up to use the restroom there were roaches crawling on the wall and floor - we again tried calling the front desk. At shift change the next morning, we were able to speak to the someone. Showed them pictures. That person was extremely nice and helped us get a refund on the room. We appreciated his help and speediness of getting us a refund. I do hope this issue gets cleared up soon for the future guests.

Severely underrated hotel
This is an amazing hotel and severely underrated. Every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant. Check in was person was very welcoming and friendly. And check out person was very understanding and accommodating with our check out needs. The pool was perfect. Our room was beyond comfortable. The beds and bedding felt like sleeping in a cloud. Love the plank tile floors rather than carpet. The LARGE TV felt like being at home with dozens of premium movie channels. And I love the location. There's a Walgreens right next door so it's easy to walk to get anything extra you need and a bar on the other side to relax after the pool closes for the night. Used to stay at HIE while in town. Not anymore!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Bad terrible service
I requested a refund because I had went to the manager and told him about finding a used diabetic strip in my bed after we woke and got packed up for the day and his attitude was terrible and he was rude and then when I complained to y’all he said I didn’t complain to him he didn’t know about a diabetic strip…..and then said well she stayed in the room sooooo...she doesn’t get a refund. Which is it I stayed there or not and did I tell him or not. I have posted about it on all social medias with pictures and an address.

Reserved a king bed ended up with two full beds one had nasty stains all over the sheets alarm clock was busted and alarm went off at 440am had to shove it under the bed to not hear it cause it wouldn’t turn off out side there was dog poop all over and super loud people

The first time I stayed I hear it was what I expected for the price. Clean room, breakfast ect. 2 nd time I got the accessible room at the back of the building not front. Closest curb cutout was around the corner at the front of the building. The lock bolt did not lock.

The room was clean and nice. Had to ask for towels. The lady who does breakfast could care less about her job, she would just lazy around and most of the time everything was empty which makes breakfast a disappointment. Otherwise everything was great.

Here's the things we liked. Rooms were spacious and the pool was open. The pool was serviced every 3 days. Nice area for kids. Not so good was the garabe cans by pool needed to be empty and the grounds were not so clean. Breakfast was a bust. We had breakfast one morning at 6:30 and they ran out of food. 2nd morning not all options were available either.

We had to book another hotel, the smoke smell was disgusting, the bathroom was super dirty it even had mold. We checked out as soon as we saw the room and they kept our money, did not reimburse. -0 if I could review.

The linen below the comforter and top sheet was literally molded and had hair on it. The other bed felt sunken in on one side.

Property looks nothing like the photos on Expedia, was rated 8/10… there is no way this hotel is rated that high unless employees are filling out the reviews. All the reviews are poor, wish we had read them first.

The property looked older, but the room was decent and had been updated to some degree. Housekeeping only came every third day and we were there for 8 days - never changed our sheets. The AC cooled the room but didnt remove any moisture so the floors were damp and the towels never dried. Even our clothes were damp. We had to ask for towels and shampoo every day- the shampoo bottles were very small. We asked them to look at the A/C, but they didn't find anything wrong with it, which is odd because it never had any condensation or water coming from it and the units around us were all dripping water all the time.
The hotel had a very nice, hearty breakfast every mornign with sausage, buscuits, gravy, eggs, yogurt and pancakes. The coffee was also good.

I had cancel because other family members could not make the trip. I am now in the process of trying to get a refund which is not looking good at this point. I will never go through a third party like Hotels.com ever again.

Cockroaches! On the walls, bed and in the bathroom
Although it looked as if the room had been updated it was infested with cockroaches. The room did not look dirty but the roaches were everywhere. We were afraid to bring our bags in when we arrived home, had to leave everything outside. I know it's Florida and you can expect to see a bug here and there but this room was absolutely infested!

The room had a terrible smell. There was black moldy looking substance on the bed. The lady at the desk was nice and tried to offer us another room. I couldn’t bring myself to look at another after we saw that one.

I like that they would clean our room everyday and the staffwas very nice and hotel was close to everything, But I didn`t like that I had to call every day we stayed to get enough towels and face cloth, it like they didn`t understand that it was three person in our room, and the breakfast was not good and the breakfast staff need to treat you with respect and do their job better because your customers who pay your salary . But I would not stay again , but not a bad hotel for the money we paid.
