Many of the light bulbs in the room were missing. The ac made a loud knocking noise at 2am and wouldn’t stop. It wasn’t terrible, but I paid $250 for one night and expected much more. Will not return.

Everything was perfect, but my A/C unit was very loud. I thought someone was vacuuming outside my room. I a hot sleeper so I sleep with a fan or air conditioning. I couldn’t do neither because the noisy unit kept me up, otherwise the hotel was great with updated rooms and lobby area.

Comfortable bed….that was the good. Guy who checked us in made it seem like he was doing us a big favor. Despite me not having a car, they tried to charge me $40 for parking, As I had work to do, biggest issue was the awful lighting in the room….there was 2 dim lights by the bed, a bad floor lamp and a desk lamp—that was it.

The business center printer was not working and the front desk internet was very slow when working, I had to check out of this property and forecgo two two days of reservation and checked into another hotel were the inter net worked

Great location, friendly staff. However the curtain was hanging/broken on the window. The unit for heating/air was so loud it kept us awake during then night.
The bathtub and show curtain had hair.
Not up to your normal standards that we have seen in the past.

Staff here is always so friendly, from housekeeping to desk to bar & restaurant. The rooms are pretty spacious & quite comfy. Location is so easy for us to get in & out of. Parking is chill too. Recommend

Overnight at the Double Tree
Great remodel of the old holiday inn. Rooms look & feel deluxe. Check in was easy. Not a big fan of the $19 parking charge but it seems to be the norm in the area. Breakfast was surprisingly good and our server, Louis,was perfect…attentive, friendly, accurate, he’s a gem!

This is a 3 star hotel. The day time shift staff behind the counter was dry and not very accommodating. The room was pretty dark even with all the lights on. The AC conditioner at our room was broken and because of that the room was cold. After calling the room service, a mechanic was sent to our room confirming that the thermostat is broken and not fixable. After calling the room service again, we were told that they only had rooms with queen bed available. We ended up moving to the room. In the morning and during check out, we were told that their system was down and because of that they were not able to print a receipt. The shuttle to the airport was also about 20 minutes late as compared to the schedule that we were given during the check in.

One thing that was a big issue for me, who has to do a lot of written homework things, was the lighting. It was an amazing room and staff was great, but the lighting in the rooms were pretty dim.

Thermostat was busted and wasn't fixed the entirety of a two-night stay; temp was 60-62 most of the time. Walls are paper thin and privacy is rather minimal. Hilton bedding is always nice but not that substantial.
Staff was pretty good.

We checked in on Friday late afternoon. After attending a rosary service, we came back to the hotel and turned on the heat because the room was at 65° and it was freezing. There was absolutely no heat coming in and it was very late, so we just tried to bundle up and go to sleep. The next morning I called the front desk to let them know that the heat was not working and they sent an electrician to check on it. They said that everything did seem to be fine, but we went but when we came back that late afternoon after a funeral the heat was still not working. They brought a heater into the room and that helped. I just don’t think I should have to pay for one night where it was seriously 64°.

I stayed at this property after researching what hotels would allow me a late-check out near the airport. There is a $75 late check out fee that allows guests to leave at 4:00 PM. I needed this due to work and my mother was going to stay to watch my child and dogs for an hour while I was away.
Not more than 30 minutes after I left the hotel (at about 1:00 PM), my mother called me to let me know that the staff opened the door, pushed through the door, and asked when she would be checking out because the room needed to be cleaned. The staff member didn't listen to my mother telling her that we had a late-check out at 4:00PM, and kept repeating that she wanted to clean the room and wanted to know when she was leaving. Long story short, when I arrived, we left at 3:30PM, before the 4:00 PM "late-check out". When we did leave the room, I noticed three staff outside my door that all ran away while we left. It was the most unwelcome and awkward "late-check out" experience that I ever paid for.
Would not recommend, very noisy rooms and cheap sheets that are ripped.

Checked in and room heat did not work. Temperature did not go above 64 degrees. Front desk clerk moved us to another room where the heat did not work again and temperature remained at 66 degrees. Maintenance could not fix problem and it was so late we ended sleeping with our clothes on.

Housekeeping was not acceptable in our experience we had never had a hotel that didn't clean on a daily basis this place didn't clean the room the entire stay only brought some clean towels, because we asked for them! Very disappointing will think twice about another stay in a Double Tree Hotel.

Airport hotel without an airport shuttle
We were in overnight as we had a crack of dawn flight the next day, so we didn't come in with any golden expectations. But. There was no shuttle running to the airport. The thermostat didn't work in our room, so it was a steady 75 degrees all night. And lack of water pressure made for disappointing showers. Staff was nice enough and the facility itself, rooms and restaurant, were fine. Next time we'll go to one of the other dozen hotels near SFO

Haven't tried other hotels around SF airport thou. However, I won't recommend this one to you. I booked two rooms, same room type. When I arrived, they were not even close to each other. Staff did not even mention they were on different floors and just handed over the key to me. Elevator felt very unsafe, both of them were shaking when enter and exit. The heating was not working at my room. I will never come back again.

The first room I checked in to the air conditioner did not work. They didn’t have another king bed so I had to switch to a room with 2 queen beds. In the new room there was food left in the fridge from the previous guest and the floors were not swept, I called front desk and she said she would let the house keeping manager know. I assumed I would receive a visit from the housekeeping manager. After waiting 10 minutes I called back down and asked if she was going to send someone to pick it up and I requested new sheets because it was obvious that the room wasn’t cleaned properly. She sent the maintenance guy and he thought I had a maintenance request I then told him the same things I told the front desk so he called maybe a house person and I requested that he change the sheets and remove the trash. The communication between staff was non existent as I had to repeat my issues 4 different times to 2 different people. It was unacceptable for what the room cost and for it to be a Hilton property.

The hotel was nice. I had a problem qith the bathtub. We got ada room and my husband also fell taking a shower due to the bathrub not having rubber grips in the tub floor. I think they need to add the grips in the tubs to avoid falls

I arrived after running my 5k Golden Gate race, followed by walking the city, and was exhausted. My room was not ready at 3:30, so, I waited in the lobby. The person checking me in was informed, by phone, that the laundry machine was down, so he switched my room. He charged me for the room that I had already paid for, which was discovered by a coworker, when I purchased a drink from the gift shop. She told me she was removing the charge, and said I was booked into someone else’s room, so, fixed that too

For a hotel close to the airport, this one is so nice inside. The showers are some of the best I've seen for a short stay with full-glass doors that keep the heat in the shower. The room overall was just excellent.
We did accidently go to the wrong DoubleTree at first, as there are several nearby and our Uber app search got us to the wrong hotel the first time.

This hotel surprised me. It has great modern design, spacious room and a great shower! The area isn’t great in that it’s a little industrial. It has a nearby IHOP and McDonald’s. However the hotel restaurant looked good (we were there after hours). The perk of the location is that it is close to the freeway and most importantly, close to the airport. They have a screen with arrival and departure times right by the check counter. The employees were wonderful. We were there just for an overnight stay.

This hotel is prime location of SFO airport and located a few miles from rental car return. With ease we managed to check out of this hotel, drive down the road, return car and catch our flight all within 2 hours in the morning. The hotel itself was very clean, beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Bathrooms extremely clean as well. Staff was kind and helpful and parking was affordable.

However, the fire alarm went off during our stay and at first we weren’t sure if it was real or an accident - front desk didn’t update us until we asked about it the next day.
And there should be some check-in system for the shuttle as there weren’t enough seats or room for luggage and some guests had to stand.

Air Quality: Smoker's
I am overall disappointed with my experience due to the fact that I was initially assigned a smoking room. I do not smoke as my profile indicates. I consequently returned to the front desk for a room as far away from smoking rooms as I am very sensitive to smoke. The air quality in the room that I was assigned was not good, as the air system seemed to be filtering the "smoker's air" throughout the entire hotel. I will not be returning to this hotel.

Convenient to airport
Conveniently close to airport with a decent restaurant, clean bath and comfortable beds.
Lighting in room was terrible and not enough toncomfortably read by. The make-up mirror was set too high so at 5'5" or less you need to stand on something to use it.
