Not clean.
Upon ebtering room we were met with a smell that was off. My son Then showed me peeling wall paper in the bathroom with what appeared to be black mold on the wall. We were moved rooms but found the same smell in our new room as well. Very poor air circulation in rooms as opening the window was the only solution. Our compensation for the experience was not satisfactory at all.

The room has good interior design, cozy and clean. The staff is friendly.
We had difficulty finding the parking structure under the building because of the big No Entry sign as you drive through which confused us and cause us to turn right and out of the property. It was good that we found parking space in front of the building on our second attempt.

The overall was ok.
The rooms are a bit cramped.
The bathroom sink was clogged and took couple mins to drain for every time you used it.

It was comfortable and clean. Has microwave, coffee, and mini fridge in room. The sink is inside the bathroom. Minimal toiletries. Good space with a great view of the needle. Their mini market could be stocked better and more options. Breakfast was good but lines were long. Very conveniently located, about 3 blocks walk to the needle but the neighborhood is transitional with new condos. There’s express local bus that’ll take you downtown.

Site seeing
Amazing location within walking distance to attractions and to the monorail. Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. A lot of construction going on in the area, but that’s most of Seattle right now. Always felt safe walking during the day and at night. Breakfast was delicious, beds were comfortable. Only issue I had in the room is that we only watched Netflix while there, but our tv kept resetting mid show or mid movie, and we’d have to keep logging in over and over again. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else when I visit.

Great location to enjoy Seattle
We stayed here for 3 nights. Our car navigation took us out of town not recognising the address at first. We worked out it was known on that as Aurora Ave (off John St). We then had no problem getting back there on the same house number. The hotel itself is in an excellent location. We walked to Climate Arena for an NHL game and was a short walk. Also short walk to Space Needle and surrounds which wad great as you can then take the monorail to diwntown and get to Pike Markets. The room wasnt huge but was big, clean and comfortable enough. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast provided was excellent. We paid for onsite parking to assist with convenience as we mostly walked to where we wanted to go. Front counter people very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We received an email the morning we were supposed to check in stating that they could not accommodate us due to a "leak". They said they found us different accommodations at a Hampton Inn in Everett, Wash. which is over 1 hour away from Seattle and would have cost us well over $100.00 in cab rides both ways to get to the cruise pier. We called them to complain and they admitted that they actually overbooked because Beyonce' was in town. We were able to find better and much closer accommodations ourselves at Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Bellevue/Downtown which was great. I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member and the way this was handled was very unprofessional. Trying to find different accommodations the morning we were arriving to begin our cruise was horrible and very stressful.

My stay was very short. However, I did feel comfortable at the hotel. The only negative was I could hear the vehicles traveling up and down the roadways at night. Other than that, it was good 👍

Maid service not performed for the 3 day stay; breakfast options same each day and very basic; one elevator sounded like it was going to get stuck, so we were nervous getting on it.

Marriott has gone downhill
Probably the worst hotel stay ever! The customer service was so bad! We had 3 total rooms because we were traveling with 2 other couples. The hotel canceled one couple’s reservation. They emailed them a couple days prior to tell them they were moving them to another hotel 25 minutes away. My friends never saw the email. My friends had to stay in our room but we only had one bed. They asked for a cot or something. We were told no. In the morning we were in a hurry to catch a cruise ship and obviously needed more towels so we could all shower. I called the front desk to see if they could bring us 1 towel. I was told no…I would have to come and get it. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever seen!

This is a nice place to stay in Seattle. It is near the Seattle Center and on a really nice updated street. The hotel staff is great and we had no problems.

We arrived early from a flight and the hotel was able to get us our room early. Very pleasant and quick check in. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Walkable to Space Needle area where we caught Monorail to Pikes Place Market. Very convenient. Beautiful view of the Space Needle from our room.

This is a good hotel for staying 1 night before you board your cruise but nothing else. The rooms are cramped and oddly set up with the bathroom sink located immediately inside the room door, outside of the bathroom. There is no in-room safe. There are no overhead lights or floor lamps near the beds. If you are placed in a room at the back of the hotel, your view is the dark alley and the wall of another hotel, and you’ll be awakened at 5am by the trash truck emptying the dumpster. For the 2 nights we were there, someone smoked pot and flavored cigars in the parking garage and the smoke filtered up to the rooms.

Our stay was very nice. The entire inside is well maintained and feels very elegant.
Our flight to Seattle was very early, so we got to the hotel well before check-in. We simply intended to drop off our bags and then come back later to get into our room. The staff found a ready room for us so we could get in immediately, which was wonderful!
They were very helpful in recommending restaurants and setting up transportation for us to get to our cruise ship. We were very pleased with the staff.
The breakfast the next day was absolutely amazing as well.

This is a nice, clean hotel. The neighborhood has convenient public transit and a range of dining options, from fast casual, to Whole Foods, to more upscale restaurants. It's also very near the Space Needle. I really don't have any complaints, except that it would have been nice if there were a pool

Upon arrival I expected to request a baggage hold until check in, but we were allowed to check in early, which was great because we arrived with no sleep. We had a direct view of the Space Needle (perfect). It was a very easy, slightly uphill walk (6 blks, 10 min). Uber p/u's were not too bad $$ to waterfront, not far from Westlake rail stop. Breakfast was not bad and very much appreciated. Upon check out, hotel held luggage all day. Room was clean, beds comfortable and quiet. A very nice stay.

I gave this property only three stars based on the actual room. There were two beds, and one of the mattresses was like sleeping on craters. The pillows were heavy, and whatever was inside, was like moldable wet sand. Right inside the entry door is a nice sink and counter area, but there was no place to hang a hand towel. Address these issues and everything else was great.

This is a very busy hotel with LOTS of guests. The lobby area is always filled with guests and the breakfast room is super packed whenever you go during the breakfast hours. There’s no staff at the front desk in the late night/ early morning hours. Housekeeping is not provided every day unless you request. Location is great though!

Haven’t stayed in downtown Seattle before so wasn’t prepared for all the extra fees that came with the room rate (tourism fee, convention & tourism tax). The hotel itself is convenient for walking to Space Needle (3 min), Pike Place Market (15-20 min) and Westlake light rail station (15 min). Front desk and breakfast staff are wonderful! So friendly and efficient. The housekeeping staff however, aren’t friendly and robotically return your greetings if at all.
Had a room with two queen beds facing the Holiday Inn. Was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Bathroom sink and counter area are very close to the entrance so a bit tight when someone getting ready while others leave/enter. The outlets on the night table didn’t work but the ones on the alarm clock did.
Breakfast offers some hot items (eggs, sausages, biscuits/quiche) with continental fare (toast, cereal) along with waffle maker. Staff replenished food regularly and kept tables clean. Would advise to go eat earlier since it closes at 9AM on weekdays and lineups form by 8:30AM.
Happened to be garbage day so if you don’t want to hear 3-4 min of bins being picked up and slammed onto the ground at 5AM, I’d suggest wearing ear plugs.

Our room had plenty of space, was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom sink was missing the stopper and the tp holder was broken, but otherwise, the facility was good. The staff were friendly. The breakfast provided had lots of options, was hot and very good. Coffee and ice water are provided in the lobby which was a nice feature. Good location for viewing tourist want to see sights.

Flew in for a cruise for our honeymoon. The staff here was amazing, the room was super clean and nice. They allowed my niece who’s in the navy to come visit with us in our room for a couple hours with her two little girls. The staff was just beyond polite and understanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fairfield was great but pressure on toilet flushing wasn’t very strong and maintenance had to come twice to fix. Otherwise it was an a great experience
