The rooms are run down. Lots of cracking on the walls that was just painted over. Bathroom was not cleaned well when we arrived. Shower is old and the floor of the tub felt like it was going to bend and crack. Some parts of the room looked more updated while others were very outdated. Poor lighting in rooms, tv is is small and didn’t offer the ability to stream from our personal streaming accounts like other hotels. The staff wasn’t friendly nor rude. They were just ok.

Hotel was wonderful! Hard to find at first since it's at the back of the restaurants & sign can't be read from the road. But the hotel was even better than expected. I would stay here again.

Property situated beside a freeway on one side and a busy road on the other VERY noisy. Bed was rock hard and room smelled of urine. On the plus side they had a lovely breakfast.

Extremely disappointed
To preface, we’ve stayed at Country Inn and Suites hotels throughout the country and have always been satisfied with the accommodations. We were extremely disappointed though with our recent stay. For positives, the hotel staff was very pleasant and efficient during check-in and the daily breakfast was decent. The major concerns were over the condition of the property and room. The corridors and rooms smelled terribly, like cheap air freshener poorly masking mildew, smoke, and other foul odors of an aging hotel. The rooms were dirty, including linens that were stained and appeared to have not been changed out from the prior guest. Likewise, the bathroom was in a poor state with the shower curtain dirty and mildewed/moldy. Our rooms were not made up by housekeeping over several days, despite requesting service from the front desk. We asked for extra pillows for one of our kids to prop up in bed because she wants feeling good to which the front desk advised there were no additional pillows available in the entire hotel. Lastly, the $200+ cost per night for each room was a terrible value considering the issues with the room and dilapidated condition of the property. I would strongly urge potential guests to look for another property in the area that is cleaner and a better value.

Noisy, slow service
We were placed next to the noisy elevator on the same floor as a youth hockey team whom were allowed to run up and down the hallway banging on doors. It finally quieted down around 11pm. The front desk was unmanned with a buzzer, and it took several minutes to get anyone there.

There is absolutely no way this is a highly rated stay. The property is old but appears to have gone through a very unsuccessful renovation.
Cons: The room was dirty and smelled awful. The bathroom was gross with hair still in shower. Walls are filthy with stuff splattered on them. Previous guests clothing was still in drawers. Sofa bed had obviously used, dirty linens on it. Sinks nor shower drain properly. I would not recommend staying here. Ever.
Pros: Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was fine. Location was good.

Disappointed
There was a substance splattered all over the wall that was obviously never cleaneed up. The pull out bed smelled like old urine. The coffe maker was very dingy/dirty inside and clearly never cleaned. The air conditioner was clanging all night every time it kicked on. The food was basic but ok and served the purpose. The staff was alerted to the issues and just said "we will look into it".
We were pretty disappointed in this hotel for what we paid for the niight. We are frequent travelers and this is definitely NOT properly rated.

The property was ok & plenty of parking. Staff was very freindly and helpful. What was disappointing is there wasn't a continenal breakfast included as part of the package. Not sure if it was because of the holidays, but usually at every hotel we have stayed, a continental breakfast is offered. Other than that it was decent.

no hand held shower as we requested we need a walkin shower and instead we had a tub we had to climb over this was not a accessible room as we requested it was a clean room but short on amenities.

Not a big fan. Breakfast was a bust from the powdered eggs to the watered down juice. No ice maker on our floor. Staff was nice and helpful. Door key worked off and on. We left a day early.

It’s ok but won’t stay there again
Location was nice - near Mesa Gateway airport and easy to get to 60. Hotel staff very friendly. And they do as well as you can with an older hotel. It’s just dated.

The rooms need updating. Chair was worn and torn on the arms. Bathtub and sink really looked bad and cracked. But the shower head and flow was good. The key would not unlock the door and after two times of rekeying they called maintenance and he couldn't open so moved us. The breakfast was really good and fresh. Staff was friendly.

I would stay again
We came to town to go to a concert. The hotel was nice and check in and out was quick and smooth. We only stayed one night but everything seemed nice and comfortable for the night that we were there. My daughter said she did not like the bed but I fell right to sleep and slept like a rock!

Nice Overall ~ But some Repairs Needed
We have stayed at this property probably 20 times in past several years. The room we stayed in this time was in need of some repairs in the bathroom. The shower has leaked and the paint was crumbling around he shower head and the sink faucet need the aerator replaced (very low water flow). Otherwise, was as we usually expect. Breakfast was good and had lots of choices, and was kept clean. Room was comfortable and clean with plenty of space (there as only 2 of us this stay).

Great for ovetnight stay
Great for an overnight stay. Furnishings are worn looking. I was disapointed because I filtered Skyharbor hotels with airport shuttle and this hotel was a choice. The only shuttle to Mesa airport. It cost me $100 for a uber round trip.

Because housekeeping staff was understaffed, my room was only cleaned every few days and only if requested at the front desk by noon.
Guests in the rooms next to mine and across the hall were extremely noisy into the night (yelling and pounding on each other's doors) and were smoking marijuana in one of the rooms.

Hotel was easy to access off interstate and offered park and fly, which is the main reason I chose it. Staff was very helpful.
Only negative I can mention is the hallway noise and doors closing throughout the night. There was a sign indicating a wedding reception there so I imagine the noise was a result of that. The shuttle was great and the driver was hospitable and kind.

Overall Decent Experience
The hotel overall was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location provided lots of dining options and was close to shopping too.
The only disappointments were that the bathtub and the sink are in dire need of refinishing or replacement and the fitted sheet on the bed was a tad too small and kept popping off.

This was the most unprofessional experience I have had! We were flying into Mesa with our 1 year old, so I called before and after I booked to make sure us coming in around 1am would not be a problem. When I showed up the lady at the desk said they cancelled my reservation due to maintenance issues and asked if I got an email. I double checked right then and told her I only had an email that asked how my check in went. After a 4 hour plane ride at 1am my husband, me, and my 1 year old had no room to stay in with no heads up or notice before arriving. No effort was put in to helping us find somewhere else to stay or concern what so ever. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

The property is fine. But the day shift was not very helpful. They would not allow early check in. Then when I could check in I reserved a king room and they gave me 2 queens and told me next time I reserve online to call them to make sure reservation is correct.they would not make it right either. Told them there would not be a next time.

Needs a remodel
First, they only checked me in for one night when I clearly prepaid to two, so of course, coming in day two with my arms full, I couldn't get in my room :/ The carpet was so dirty it can't be cleaned and the beds were lumpy. Definitely time for a remodel. Staff was friendly & breakfast was good

so my friend and i checked in later and all i needed was a shower and to get some rest. the drain in the tub was struggling from the jump but the awesome sight was the crusted puddle of urine on the side of the toilet near the floor. i took a photo which i shared the next morning upon checkout. the arm tattoo girl at the desk was very understanding and grossed out as well. hopefully improvements are being made as it’s a great location near Apache Junction

Long story short, they had a new computer system that rolled over at 12:00am which meant that all of us who had a late flight had no room. Apparently There was no override option. Two additional staff where called in to try to fix it. One hour later we were given a room. When we opened there door we found it was occupied. We were given another room after more waiting. The room smelled and the tv didn’t work but the bathroom and beds were clean so we didn’t complain. The staff handled the situation to the best of their ability but the ordeal ended with the GM swearing at cooperate office and all we were offered for our 75 minute check in was a bottle of water.

The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave and a mini fridge. We were able to keep the room at a comfortable temperature, and it was nice and quiet in the evening. The pool area was great, and the breakfast had a nice variety of options. Would easily recommend!

Hotel is severely outdated and unclean. Never staying here again. The shower head coming out of the wall was literally coming out of the wall. The tub was not cleaned. It’s listed as 2 queen beds but they are definitely doubles, not queens. The room was very tiny and pillows hurt my neck. Breakfast was okay, not many options. Eggs were watery. In the lobby, there is no restroom there so every time you need to use the restroom while eating breakfast you must return to your room to do so. Only 2 ice machines on 4 floors. But were out of ice the whole weekend. Very poor lighting in the room/bathroom.

I had a great stay. The room was always clean, and it was quiet. I travel a lot for my job and will stay here again as long as rooms are available. Very close to my company when I am here and right off the freeway, so it is easy access to anywhere in the valley.

The showers have not been scrubbed in so long there is a black ring around the tube. I had to wipe all areas down with lysol Disinfecting wipes because they werent cleaned. The bedding had someone else's small hairs. The couch had suspicious stains.

Bad sad service
Check in. Desk clerk was not to friendly. No greeting or welcoming us. We are native Americans. Don’t know if had something to do with skin color. Stayed here twice prior same clerk at desk. Unfortunately will be staying again tonight 08/24/23. Will see how it goes.

An old hotel that is trying, but falls short.
An older hotel that has had fresh painting, new carpeting installed, and has newer furniture. The bathroom looked original, especially the tub (maybe had an overlay tub?), and was not "inviting" to use.
The hotel smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking facility.
They also charged me $20 to check in one-hour early.
