Smelled. No power in the outlet by the bed. No light bulb in the lamp. Just not good. And we took pets. There wasn’t any disclosure stating it was $100 per pet.

Great price at a price
They took $26.65 with no explanation? I try contacting but no answer. We had to clean with bleach wipes due to the kitchen being sticky and food crumbs and spills.

It is an older until. while we were there they had storms. Our power didn't go out. But the heating/air unit in our kitchenette stopped working. Elevators went out one morning by the time we left the next day they still weren't repaired. Beautiful view on the beach. Room appeared to have been cleaned. There seemed to be leaks, water running out from under the stove. Water by the door going to the baconly.

I was skeptical because of the previous reviews. I will start by saying this is an average hotel, for an average price, you can stay ON the beach with a view. I paid about $370 for 3 nights during NYE… which wasnt bad. I was upset that the beds were not queen size (they were full). The unit we stayed in was the Ocean Suite. We had a small kitchen with some dishes. They did provide dish soap/towels. 2 tv’s. We didnt have towels or remotes in our room at first but it seems like they were running on short staff. Everyone we came in contact with was nice. Nothing was broken. The walls are very thing, I was woken a few times by people in the hall way, or loud cars on the main street but no biggie. I would stay here again but I will say, if you are use to staying in high end condos, or hotels that are in top shape, I wouldnt suggest this place. This place is for the ones that dont care what the property looks like and just need a bed/the beach.

This place is nasty and the Staff Is VERY RUDE!! I would seriously like my money back from this trip wasted!! My Room Was Filthy!!! Bed and bed sheets had stains! Nothin swept!!

The unit was filthy. I spent the first day cleaning the nasty black floors that weren’t supposed to be black! There was dog hair everywhere. It was evident a wet mop had not seen the place in a while. The couch was too dirty to sit on. Only two burners worked on the stove. The cops came to the unit next to us due to some domestic dispute and had to come in our unit to tell the person on the balcony to answer the door. The noise from that plus the barking dogs was ridiculous. Plus, I booked a king bed and got a double…not a queen, a double. The view was amazing and the girl who checked us in was super sweet, but she had a rough day due to all of the complaints, which was beyond her control. It is a poorly managed place and they take cash for having pets, which I’m sure is not reported. You pay resort fees for…I’m not sure what for. No laundry, it wasn’t working. It could be a really nice place if they cared enough to clean it up.

Slumming with a beach view
The hotel is extremely run down. The doors wouldnt unlock. Had to make multiple trips to the front desk be ause we couldn't access the room. Couldnt get towels brought up. No iron or ironing board. The only upside was the beach view.

1. Toilet flapper hinges broken off.
2. Slow elevator; the other elevator out of order.
3. No breakfast service.
4. Rusty balcony door, hard to open and close.
5. Awkward light switch positioning.
6. Lots of missing and mismatched dishes.
7. There are 2 FULL size beds; NOT Queen as advertised.

First off, its only getting a 1 star only for the balcony. The view was amazing. We had roaches watching the sunset with us. I went To use the restroom in the middle of the night and I turned on the light and about a 100 little German roaches scattered everywhere. . There was also black mold on the curtains.

The beds were good. The bathroom and kitchen area was clean. The shower was nice however, the curtains is hanging by a thread, the tub drained slow and God only knows what the bloody fingerprints were on the wall. The kitchen area had 1 dinner plate, 2 saucer plates, 4 bowls, 2 coffee cups and 1 drinking glass. One lg pot, 1 small pot and a strainer. Utensils were all spoons, butter knives, 1 sharp knife and a spatula. Thank God I thought ahead and brought stuff from home or I would not have been able to cook the food I brought. I brouht a sheet to put over the couch. It didn't look bad but I'm cautious. Had 1 chair on the balcony and the floor needs cleaning. Our feet were black. Overall, totally not awful but needs work.

Bugs were present 3 times during my 1 night stay. there were no face clothes in the unit. there were 3 drinking glasses and no hand soap. Will never stay there again.

This resort needs to be shut down and renovated. I got ate uo by bed bugs. Didnt know it was bed bugs until i got home and realized i had bites all over me and had to go to doctor. My birthday stay was horrible and terrifying. Then i had to clean all my things to try and keep them from coming into my home.

Door locks were broken, no sheets or comforter of any kind for fold out sofa. Floor was filthy, multiple roachs were found in room. Whether it was $100 room or a $500 room , there is no excuse for being dirty.

Recommend overall
Two elevators were great and the wait was never long except for the morning of checkout. Pool was a little small but very nice. Staff was great. Basic outdated furniture but great for a quick trip. Beds were comfy but the blanket was scratchy and under the top sheet so strange to me.

I like that it was pet friendly. There was plenty of parking. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was clean except the floors. If you walked from the bed to the bathroom your feet would be black. We had to slam the door shut otherwise you could just push it open. Elevators were slow. None of this would keep me from staying there again though. They offer good off season prices.

Stayed a week vacation. It is not a high end hotel so if this is what you’re use to keep looking it’s not for you. No house keeping daily. Elevators are old and slow. No cookware for kitchen. Floors dirty had to walk in shoes due to the dirt and sand. Getting coffee was hard to come by.

When I booked this property, I read all the reviews beforehand and they were fairly accurate. This is a great place for the budget traveler. It is old and well used, it is dirty in places, but dirty where it doesn't matter too much, like the elevator, the floors, the property outside, but I'm wearing shoes anyway. The bathroom, the kitchen, the bedding was all clean. The light in the bathroom didn't work, and we didn't have any forks, just spoons n knives. It only took 10 mins for a staff member to bring us a new bulb and some forks. The new light bulb did not help, it flickered here and there, but again not the end of the world. I feel like I got what I paid for. Other properties were almost double the price for the same amenities. The beach is excellent, the location is excellent. Plenty of walkable stores, restaurants and bars. Walmart is about a 5min drive.

All and all it was a great place to stay! Right on the beach and dog friendly. Could have been a little cleaner , the floors should be mopped and the outside deck could have been swept. Also the lamp shade above the bed had so much mold that could be replaced. But staff was friendly and nice!

I've stayed lots of places but this was the first ever to not have a spread or comforter on the beds. No suitable cookwear for kitchen. Only redeeming thing was the view was incredible!!

It is a convenient spot for the beach but the carpets are disgusting. My one year old crawled on the carpet and it turned his knees black. It’s also turned my feet black so I’ll be wearing shoes inside.

It was as run down as it could get without toppling over. Filthy is not a strong enough word to use. Garbage everywhere on property. In speaking with other guests, they felt the same way. I will say that staff were kind, willing to help, but there is only so much they can do about the leaking air conditioners, outdoor elevators (not safe at all, anyone could hop on) and the smell of the unit was disgusting. On top of paying Expedia for this room, what is not disclosed is that there is a $81.19 daily fee for the "resort". There was a pool, that was about all I saw that you could consider part of a "resort".

The front desk staff was so welcoming. The TV remote did not work, and a very kind maintenance gentleman came right away to get it going. Every person we encountered was exceptionally kind. I would book again.

I knew from other reviews that this place wouldn't be that great but I thought I would give it a try. Mistake. Roaches everywhere in the room, and not a few a lot of them!!! The blond lady in the lobby was very nice and the man putting towels on the chairs and straitening up outside was a super hard worker. This does not make up for the nasty bugs, no excuse!!

Was overall pleased with stay at Holiday Terrace. It is a smaller motel so not too crowded. Is right on beach with I loved. The front desk staff was great, anything we asked for was provided. The only thing lacking was since there was no housekeeping service sand was always in floor of room, need to provide a broom or swiffer in rooms. Wish they would consider installing a hot tub. I would stay here again. It was a quite and relaxing place to stay.

Property was run down. Ceiling was falling in. Dogs barked all night. Screaming and banging all night. A man next to our room had a billy club and banged it on railing outside our room all night until 5am. Been visiting PCB for 40 years and never felt so unsafe in my life.

There was a 149.00 extra fee other than what i paid on expedia. Room was fair but had a kitchen, refrigerator, hide a bed, and 2 queens. Location was good. They should clean more and elavators were nasty. Easy access to the beach.

First, we had a puddle of water from the AC leaking at our doorway so every time we walked into our room, the floors were wet from our shoes, the floors were never mopped or swept our entire stay. Our feet would be black from the floors, we had to get our own towels, and even saw a roach in the lobby, and dog crap on the stairs. The elevators were crappy. We wont stay again.

The room was quite dirty although they said it was ready. Sand and dirt around edges. Floors ruined a pair of socks they were so dirty. Doors were hard to open and shut. Had 4 light bulbs burned out and was very little to no light in some areas. There was no trash can and they only said they would “put a request in” for one. Never did get one. No room service at all for clean towels or to pick up dirty ones. Did not pick up trash or anything.

This is a budget hotel and room furniture is kept to a minimum. The beds are comfortable and clean. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The location and proximity of this property to the water is exceptional. Great pool area, outside shower for returning from the beach, guest towels on each pool chair each morning, picnic and grill area. We had air conditioners at the front and rear of our room, and both were very cold. We had pets so room service did not service our room in our absence which is understandable.

Do not stay here
We planned a 4 night stay and we left after 2 nights.
This property is not maintained at all. Trash is littered everywhere in the parking lot. The deadbolt on our door was stuck and would not lock. Our balcony door did not even close and we stuffed extra towels around the frame to try to keep the heat out. It completely ruined the beautiful ocean view along with that, the window unit had to run constantly to keep up with the Florida heat and the door not closing so the we just heard AC noise the entire time. If this wasn’t bad enough, there were other issues with our short stay.
The refrigerator and freezer had a pungent fish smell, presumably from leftover seafood.
The beds did not have a top cover. Just a couple of top sheets.
The hotel policies are very unclear because I saw several dogs during our two night stay and the hotel is listed as pet friendly, but there are signed posted all over the property saying no pets. There are also no pick up bags or outside trash cans, so there is dog poop around the property.
All around, poor experience. Find somewhere else to stay and definitely do not stay here with a family

We took an Uber to get around, the beach was right there. There was a bedroom and a kitchen and a huge window that over looked the lanai with a beach. The ac worked great! There was also a microwave and TV in each room. I loved my stay and can't beat the price!

1 plus—Staff at desk were friendly.
Room was dirty in corners and floor was sandy, dirty and sticky. Sand under couch cushions. We kept shoes on. We had half empty shampoo & body wash items, lights and 2nd AC not working. Entry door had large open gap at bottom. Key cards stopped working. Worst part —1/2 way thru day 1 the Stairwell smelled like human feces. Overall the room and entire building looks really worn and run down. Find a different place to stay.

Location was awesome and great beach access. The room on the other hand had a few problems. 1. floors were filthy and had to wear shoes or your feet would turn black. 2. Mirror was dirty and looked like they used a dirty rag to clean it. 3. Bathroom door was falling of the hinges. 4. Bathroom exhaust vent looks like it has never been cleaned. Bedside light switch did not work. We will not be staying here again.

Do Not Stay Here!
We stayed there as a family of 6, for what is our once a year vacation. The room was not even set up for 2 people. No pots or pans, 1 fork, 1 knife, 1 spoon, 3 plates and 1 bowl. It was dirty. The elevator did not work. Absolutely gross.

This was just an average motel. Sofa was outdated and torn, and should have been replaced Brocken tv in living room took three days to fix. Only one elevator worked. Our room was just outside the ice machines so constant noice from people filling coolers
Biggest disappointment was the lack of care taken with the pool. I only saw it cleaned once during our stay. I was so dirty with trash, cigarette butts, and paper in the pool we were afraid to us it. And on two separate occasions I saw dogs in the pool. When did this become appropriate? I'm assuming that Gary was the manager. Couldn't tell as the three times I went to front desk, he didn't interact, about the problems I had. Front deak associates were curious and helpful though.

It’s such a shame because it could be a very nice place to stay as the customer service was nice. However, a bottle of bleach would go a very long way. Every single thing is dirty & gross. The elevators, when they actually arrive, smell like cat spray. The couch had what looked to be a poop smear. There were long thick dark hairs everywhere - in the folded towels, in the tub drain, on various wall areas in the shower, on the floor & in the tub. I showered with flip flops & thankfully brought my own blankets which I slept on and over me with my own pillow. On the upside the air conditioning is freezing but stinks of pee when sitting out on the balcony. Beautiful part of the beach.

We had to find somewhere else to stay. The room was not clean, the beds were double instead of queen as advertised. I had called ahead to confirm the queen size so no one had to sleep on the sofa, which was dirty looking. The table had to be moved to the middle of the room to be able to open the refrigerator. There was only one blanket They were nice about us checking out

Well let’s see after my 12 hour drive I checked into my room and found bedbugs before my family and I settled in …Told the front desk and the manager had to go see before he believed me and second they move us to another room which no bedbugs was found but the room was very nasty found dirty clothes and liquor bottles under the and to top it off the room next us well everything they smoked came in our room so yeah my vacation wasn’t the best and I will not stay here anymore

Make sure you take a comforter. And there are pots and pans in the room for the stove a toaster as well and dish liquid. I recommend taking a broom bc of the sand just saying. And highly recommend taking a memory foam or something for the pull out sofa bed and comforter ask the front desk for sheets. The beds wasn't to shabby I slept good on the bed. There is no hair dryer in the one so I would bring one if you gonna need one. The elevators take forever during the day but the stairs aren't to bad if your on a low floor which there are only 6 floors everyone room has a balcony with a bite to the beach which is beautiful.

I realize this was a pretty old hotel, but there were a lot of rusty areas. Also no tissues, soaps, hair shampoo or conditioner. The whole plave smelled like a musty old place. I'll probably not stay there again.

Ocean view always a plus, electrical outlets needs fixing, front entry water condensation from the ac need drainage fix, on the right notes the staffs are nice. Other than that we don’t have any problems. We’ll come back again.

I loved how the rooms had plenty of space and a beautiful view and balcony.
The rooms needed to be deep cleaned and stocked more. Also, the hotel needs some TLC, but the price was reasonable and our stay was comfortable.

The location was great and the cost was better than surrounding hotels. The pool was very nice and being by the beach was great. Overall we had a good experience. The only issue was cleanliness. For example, we noticed trash in the stairwell that was their for our entire 4 days.

Not somewhere I would stay longer than a night or with kids. Not very clean at all, lots of wear and tear to the building, very dirty. The elevator wouldn’t go to our floor and kept getting stuck on the 6th floor. The positive of the stay is of course the view, this is a place that you literally sleep at and leave to go to the beach/ so other things.

Dirty and Run Down Hotel
The hotel is run down, dirty and not maintained. There is no housekeeping during your stay. You have to go to the front desk daily for towels. You have to leave your trash and dirty towels outside the door. It takes forever for somsone to pick it up.
We never seen housekeeping our entire stay. Some of the lamps and outlets didn't work in our room. The elevators were very slow and dirty. People got stuck in the elevator for over 30 minutes. The air conditioners are very dusty and moldy. My husband now has a sore throat from this. The hotel is in a great location and has potential. It just needs to be maintained and cleaned. My family and I were very disappointed in our stay. I definitely do not recommend this hotel at all.

Family beach vacay
We had a great time here. My only complaints is that it could have been a little cleaner. The bathroom ceiling had mold and the shower curtain was dirty. The elevator was slow and no blankets. But the staff was friendly, the location is ideal, and there are shops and a convenience store across the street. If you’re looking for a great place to stay on a budget, with an ocean view, this is a good place to stay. Would definitely stay again!

Property is not properly maintained.
Rubber on the bottom of the door was mostly ripped off. I kept a towel up against it to keep bugs from running under it into our room.
Floor was dirty- grocery store feet dirty…
Sofa bed was badly stained.
Kitchenette had a couple of cups bowl or so, a long oven pan. No frying pan to cook eggs or bacon in. We called the front desk to request one. We were told what’s already in the room was all we get.
No outside trash around the property was being picked up daily. The concrete around the pool was not kept clean or the grilling area near the pool.
Our door would not shut easily. We called to have it worked on. Others on the property must have the same issue because doors are constantly being slammed! Very noisy!!!
Also, our door key did not work sometimes twice or more daily. The office said it was because we kept the card in our wallet or next to our cell phone, that’s not true. I would put it in the back pocket of my purse by itself and the card still wouldn’t work.
Teens running around on the 6th floor, beating on doors and hollering and running.
Several nights in a row…
Too much riff raff here…
Very disappointed.
I would NOT recommend staying here to anyone.

Property is definitely run down but rioms were decent enough and the view from our balcony was priceless! No maid service so you have to go get clean towels and supplies from the front desk and take out your own trash which was a different experience but wasnt bad except all the sand in the room adter a coupke of days. We got a broom from the front desk and swept our own rooms. You cant beat the price though and beds were comfortable! Elevators are a little slow but beach access is close and nice patio/grill area, pool is salt water and could be cleaned more often but it wasn't bad, tge kids had a blast so it was worth it!
