Staff are wonderful! We always stay here when we are in Scottsdale. Going through a massive remodel now so not the same experience as usual but they did everything they could to make our stay great.

Overall it was a great stay, but the property was under construction.l. Staff were conscientious about letting us know and working around it, but some facilities were not available. The only time we ate at the hotel, service was very slow, as a large wedding seemed to have staff overwhelmed. Great property,great location.

The hotel was undergoing major reconstruction. And while we were generally warned of this the management at the hotel did not clearly communicate what this entailed. We received less than 24 hours notice that all water would be unavailable for an extended period of time and no forewarning that we would be trapped and unable to leave for 1/2 hour for helicopters to drop off equipment. We almost missed our flight

The hotel is under major reconstruction. No restaurants, no pools, couldn’t get door keys when checked in. When mentioned they said Oh you booked with Expedia but if you would have booked online w Hyatt it was a note about the very limited access there. Expedia did r say Nothing about it and instead showed all the wonderful features at the hotel even though you knew it wasn’t available. Bad on Expedia not informing us. Cheap of you.

I wish the property had stated on their direct website that they had renovations going on. I booked the hotel with the intention of using the pool and spa amenities only to find out those were closed. Truly disappointed.

I was not told that pool and restaurants would be closed during our stay for renovation. It was very disappointing that we were not informed before or after checking in. One morning going for coffee shop was closed and pool was closed. Very bad communication.

Just an OK experience, some amenities were nice, First Night Staff/waitress awful really set a bad tone for the night. Some Water features at Resort not working, Food / restaurants were good but the wait time and attention at breakfast was again mediocre to poor. Wouldn't book again as there are way too many options in scottsdale.

The room and location was great, but we had issues with the amenities on property. We had a bad experience as the concierge, as he lied to us and told us all three restaurants were open, when only one restaurant was in fact open. The spa was booked up completely 3.5 weeks before our reservation. We tried to use the spa facilities including the gym and were denied as hotel guests since apparently they had given away all their day passes.

Peaceful in AM. Greenery lovely and well taken care of. Quality food. Pools delightful and cared for. Spa professional and peaceful. Some of upholstery needed to be cleaned in spa and lounge chairs by pools need to be sanitized more often.

Good pool, great staff, good housekeeping, clean, nice grounds and property. Breakfast buffet at LoLoma is a good deal and they give you big togo boxes if you'd rather eat breakfast at the pool.
Suite(Palm) doesn't have a door that separates the bedroom and the living room. No kitchenette, no microwave/ only mini fridge, it isn't ideal if you have small kids, you have to spend money on all meals at the hotel and don't have a way of reheating left overs.
Pool staff is also great but the lunch food itself isn't worth the price. Most luxury hotels have good food at the pool even if it is pricy, that was probably the most dissapointing experience for our family personally.

The room was quiet but the beds need to be replaced. In 11 days shower was never cleaned and toilet was cleaned only once. BAlcony was dusty and needed to be cleaned. They are going to do a large reno this summer and hopefully things will susequently improve with things

We loved staying here! From the concierge, the wait staff, to Joe the Bird guy, to Travis the bartender - we loved everyone and felt they were so helpful! We had a relaxing family vacation and enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

The property is run down and dirty. Wallpaper paneling pealing off walls. Opened water bottle left in room next to new water bottles and ice bucket. That’s just gross! And carpets are dirty with staining. Conditions worse than the Drury Inn I stayed at at three times the price. The checkin girl was not knowledgeable about the hotel whatsoever. Couldn’t answer any of our questions and apparently gave us the, “upgraded room”. What a joke. I paid $500 to stay in a hotel that is comparable to a best Western Very very disappointed.

It is sooo outdated. We were excited to use the pool. The water/ floor of the poo looks very dirty, and trash all around the pool it looked like a spring break mess. It needs some major updating.

We booked 5 rooms for a group vacation the rooms were nice and clean but everything else was not what is showing in
Pictures specially the pool area there was garbage all over the place very short staffed . They charged us a lot of extras so every time we had to go to front desk to correct it . Be aware of that . Also their claiming of live music everyday we stayed there for 4 days and they only had it once .

Although the resort fee was included in the price when I paid Expedia, I was billed again for the resort fee after checkout. I have tried several times to contact the hotel in order to get a refund, I am placed on hold. After 30mins, I have to hang up. The hotel is nice, but not nice enough to pay over $100 per day in resort fees that I could not even use.

Unfortunately we were expecting a better room since we paid a higher price for a suite.
The carpet was dirty and the couch which was supposed to turn into a bed had stains so I didn't feel comfortable having my daughter sleeping there.
Also when we went to the pool at around 5, there was a sign that there were not pool towels and even though we talked to several hotel employees about it and they promised to get some towels for us ..... they never did.

Staff was great. Hotel needs a facelift, bad. Everything at the pool area is outdated, turned off because it's falling apart or crumbling into the pool. The tile deck at the pool is nearly destroyed and it gathers in the pool's corners. For what we paid to stay here we could have stayed at the Phoenician.

PLEASE add some lighting to the pools at night. A lot of the pool area is very dark and very hazardous. The hot tub is completely dark. People can definitely fall in by accident.

Great Family Resort
We were looking for a place in Scottsdale that the kid would enjoy. They were thrilled with the number of pools and the pool with the beach. We stayed three nights and the kids loved the birds Eagle Joe brought by each morning.

I wish the pool area was a little more up to date and I wish the staff was a little more informative. I didn’t like that our tv cable went down. The restaurants were nice but I don’t know if I would go back. Great area just for the amount of money I think there are more updated and unique hotels in Arizona.

Great hotel! I was there for a conference and it was gorgeous. The bell staff was extremely knowledgeable, especially Hugh, and went out of their way to help us (we were at a conference). All of the bar and wait staff did as well. We look forward to staying here again!

Love this hotel. The good and service are top notch. It’s obvious the staff is well trained. I would highly recommend this hotel. There’s a peaceful relaxing vibe here. It’s great for a getaway. And the shopping is amazing if you’re not a hiker or adventurer. Loved it!

Beautiful property...pool area great, menu items good, music in the evenings a treat and staff nice. BUT....Our room had been smoked in, room across from one of ours loud and disruptive and arguing in the hallway, coffee machine broken, no pads of paper or pens. You can improve those things.!

I loved the live music in the evenings. The musicians were really talented. The commons area is gorgeous and very relaxing. The staff was wonderful-- helpful, and friendly. The drinks and food were both delicious. I didn't like the additional $75 daily fee for grounds and self-parking. In addition, there weren't enough places for my teenage son and me to sit at the pool and I found the circling for a place to put our towels a bit challenging.

The property is beautiful. The pools & slide are great. The number of pools also means adults don’t have to rush to get “good chairs” by the pool early in the morning.
The problem with this resort is the service staff at the restaurants, both indoors & outdoors. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or unaware of how to keep track of customers. Maybe they need to work on logistics. Every guest had to ask for silverware & napkins at breakfast after being seated; & this was after being seated for 15-20 minutes. Coffee & water take forever to be served at breakfast, & then the staff always forgot to bring cream & sugar.
Outside at night there were only 2-3 servers for the entire area. I tried to flag down one server to place our drink order. She took it & then nothing happened for 10 minutes. Finally another server came by. He said he had to be the one to take our order, which resulted in a total of 30 minutes to get one drink order. When we wanted to place our dinner order, he said we had to wait because he “had around 20 orders ahead of us”.
This is beyond unacceptable for a resort, especially at this price point. We’d like to come back but dread dealing with such poor restaurant service. Honestly, getting silverware, coffee, & a drink shouldn’t be this difficult!
