The property was located close to our activity and the available parking was a relief! We did have a problem with the booking via Expedia but I’ll see if there’s a place further on in the survey to explain that. It was NOT the hotel’s fault, however, management was unable to fix our issue.

Great location and friendly staff who go the extra mile. Rooms have air purifiers which are appreciated. One concern is that the dishwasher was filthy and broken and there was no dishwashing liquid in the rooms. Front Desk said "you have to request liquid soap"! Dish soap for clean dishes MUST be in each room!

Stayed here for back to back appointments at Children’s for my daughter. It has everything my family needed- pool, kitchen, complimentary breakfast, easy parking and the shuttle to Children’s. Will definitely be back!

The property has a central air conditioning system. As such, it was impossible to regulate the temperature of my room. I struggled to sleep because my room was extremely cold. Moreover, a male staff was unprofessional and grossly disrespectful to me when I couldn't find the right ticket number to claim my luggage. When I finally found the ticket in my purse, he was still rude to me.

I believe, it is a good hotel, clean and close to the T train. Hot breakfast is very helpful due to limited dining options around the hotel. Area is pretty far from all attractions and the street is noisy and dirty. It was highly overpriced. It can be a good place to stay if the price is more reasonable

Not worth the price
We had a difficult stay with Homewood Suites. Our first room had really aggressive ants - a small piece of bread crust fell on the floor and there were around 50 ants within a few hours. We also weren’t placed near the other room on our reservation. The staff were very responsive when we shared our concerns about the ants - they moved us to a new room that was closer to our travel companions. We found that the staff’s quality of service varied a ton - the staff when we checked in were unfriendly and wouldn’t share information unless we pushed a ton. The rest of our staff during our stay were better - Mohammad was particularly helpful.
All in all, given the price I would have expected much better room quality, no ants, and more consistently good staff

The hotel was perfect for our family of 8. I was hoping that the parking area was bigger. We drive a big vehicle. But overall, the stay was awesome. My children absolutely loved it.

We booked a hotel stay here after our VRBO was canceled on us 2 days before our trip into town. We got a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite which was perfect when traveling with 2 teenagers. Perfect amount of space for 4 of us! Very clean and comfortable. Bonus was breakfast was included. Kudos to the gentleman running the breakfast…so friendly and welcoming to everyone! Morning traffic was a little noisy but overall excellent stay! Short 10 min walk to the nearest train stop makes it convenient to get downtown.

Boston has to offer. Nice big room. Breakfast was hosted by Jose who was first class!
So much plastic though, plastic cutlery wrapped in plastic, plastic drinking cups - could do with being a little more conscious about the amount of one time use plastic is being used.

Suited our needs while we were in Boston for a day surgery for our daughter. Conveniently located about a ten min drive to BCH. The pool is much smaller than pictured. Was pretty awkward and cramped if/when any other families came in. But my kids still enjoyed it.

My wife and I stayed here because of medical procedures my wife underwent at Beth Israel Hospital. The hotel had easy access to wheel chairs and efficient shuttle service to and from the hospital. The rooms were provided with every amenity one could wish for, but very affordable. Everything was clean and tasteful including functioning in-room kitchens, excellent bathroom facilities, comfortable beds, etc. The best thing --- amazing FREE breakfasts in a cozy home-like atmosphere. The staff was outgoing and friendly, helpful beyond expectations. And, convenient parking.

It was so easy to get to Brigham and Womens’s Hospital from there. It was a very clean hotel and the beds were very comfy. My only issue was the desk clerk. A simple “hello, how are you this evening” or even a smile rather than the vacant impassive stare as she asked for a credit card and the name of the reservation.

Arrived early for an event. Was able to park and pre-check in with no problem. Then later that night didn't need to check in as we already had our room keys. Parking was great, covered and safe.

The King size bed wasn't a king. They had some special name for the room like "hearing accessible" or something and told me that it was a King with some kind of handicap assistance like a bar in the shower or something. The set up of the room was strange with the sink part of the bathroom right next to the bed and then a door that barely cleared the toilet to separate it. There were not enough pillows the first night but we got more for the next. We ended up using the couch to be comfortable.

Don’t expect the front desk to help
Terrible - the bathroom didn’t work for 95% of the time we were there. I had to go to the front desk FIVE times to get someone to help and when they sent someone the person tried to tell me I was using the bathroom wrong (what!!). Only while I was standing there with the guy and explaining that a toilet shouldn’t almost overflow and then not drain when you use it did it actually get fixed. Terrible experience. I would never waste my time or money here again. We ended up going home a day early because I couldn’t take it anymore.

The bathroom not having a privacy door in the sink area is a big drawback. Very difficult to use the bathroom at night without disturbing the other guests with the lights in the bathroom sink area. Parking was good other than they very steep ramp to the underground parking and having to swipe the room key on a very steep slope going down and even worse going up. It would be better having the swipe card on the flat parts of the entrance and exit to the ramp. Luggage carts very small. Lots of road noise disturbed sleep. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the kitchen area of the suite

You must ask for cleaning daily, which is annoying, but they clean well. Great location.

Wouldn’t stay again
Arrived at 4pm and was told room wasn’t ready despite 3pm check-in, couldn’t check in until 5 pm. Requested, in advance, a quiet room since child would be having surgery. We were put on the ground floor next to the train tracks. A/C sounded like a jet taking off so just slept with ceiling fan. Room had food on the floor. Staff was unhelpful and unapologetic on check in. The woman at check out was lovely. Room was large with kitchen and separate living and bedroom areas.

Woman was training a gentleman when we first arrived and they were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and room was clean yet AC only worked some of the time so not very comfortable night.
We live in Dracut and husband was having surgery at Beth Israel Boston. I wanted to get a hotel one to be closer to the hospital but searched for one with a pool that was in service because of covid can’t assume and being that he won’t be able to swim for 4-5 months following his surgery. We don’t have a pool so this would have been a win win. I called ahead and was told pool is open yes was told. First thing was change and called desk to ask where the pool was and clerk told us lobby floor. When we arrived sign on one of the doors that read closed for maintenance until further notice but not the other. Went to the desk and asked if the pool was open. Clerk was short with me and said yeah it’s open and gave me directions.
After a few minutes, cleaning staff came in and asked if we can read English and yelled us for ignoring the sign. THREE times I asked about the pool and one prior to reserving the room as this was one reason for our “visit” to Boston. Close Paid close to 400 with parking and didn’t get what I specifically came for. Also, on site parking was listed as 22.

Nice extended stay hotel
All in all a very nice facility and a 20 min walk to Boston Childrens. There is also a shuttle. I asked that my room be cleaned each day, and on my first day they still had not come by 6:30 pm, so I had to cancel to put the baby to bed. I told the front desk, and it did not happen again. The wall covering in the bathroom was coming loose near the shower, but other than that, the suite was in very good repair and was clean and well equipped. I would recommend Homewood Suites to anyone who needs to stay for a period of time near the medical facilities.

The employees were very attentive and accomodating. Jose was very helpful during breakfast. The housekeeper were seen working very hard throughout. The parking was convenient as well as the location of the hotel. My only complaint was there was a dirty towel found rolled up in my kids bathroom and the carpet was not thoroughly cleaned. My daugher stepped on a fish hook that was stuck in the carpet. Luckily it didnt pierce the skin too much. Besides this all was well and the hotel is very family oriented

Not a restful stay
Hotels.com never informed the hotel we had paid for a room, so check in took 1 hour. As a result we did have dinner until 9PM. At 5AM the alarm clock went off but the light on the clock doesn't work so you can't see the time or anything else on the clock At 9AM housecleaning woke us to make up the room even though check out is noon. This was not a restful stay.

I had issues with heaters not working. I extended my stay and had to check out and check back in, which was not a big deal. I asked for a different room, and the heater didn't work. They moved me to another room, and it was working until mid evening and I had to crank the heat almost up to 80 to have semi-warm air. The room I was moved to was not as clean in the kitchen area, but at least it was quiet. The breakfast left a little bit to be desired. I wanted oatmeal packets or cups, not a huge pot of oatmeal, and I wanted the ability to have more condiments. It was filling, so good enough. I did not see signs regarding gluten or dairy free options, so I think that is something to ask staff about for the complimentary breakfast. Staff was a bit gossipy at the front desk, but outside of that it fine. Very responsive to needs. Loved the using the key card to get upstairs in the elevator. Wished there were cameras in the elevators and stairwells, as the area is busy, and safety would be nice. I tried using the business center and the computer connected to the printer did not work, so I went to a library instead. I expected there to be more computers or printing options due to the size of the hotel, as well as more luggage carts. Not a ton of options in their little store area, especially for various dietary needs. It was a decent stay, and much better than the Residence Inn.

Lights Turn On By Themselves!
The hotel was great and even had an overhead fan in the room, which was nice. The problem is that the light for the fan turned on by itself TWICE in the middle of the night, once at about 5AM and again at 6:30AM. Since we were out late on a Saturday night and were hoping to sleep late, this made our stay terrible.

Not as close as we thought to the children’s hospital but shuttle from hotel was great. Walking distance to restaurants. Rooms were newer. Disappointed about Cleaning service and lots of room with trash bags left outside door due to lack of cleaning. Front desk was great especially Natalia!

Everything was great! Close to the T and easy to get to. Only complaint is the light fixture in the bedroom. We couldn’t figure out how to keep the fan on without the light going on and off on its own. Could have definitely been user error!
