The rooms were comfortable, the floors needed bettter vacuuming in the room as well as the hallways. Maybe best to get your own toiletries. It is a quiet area with construction in front of the hotel. There are hardly any dining options within a 10-15 minute walk. Overall it was fine. We

We were able to check in before 3pm. Very thankful. We sailed with Virgin Voyages and we had to disembark by 10:30 am.

Many defective items in the room; shower hose, hairdryer.
They were replaced upon our request.
Amenities were scarce and we had to ask for more( shower gel and coffee capsule)
Problem with the hotel accounting desk.
Late cleaning of the room.
A gesture was made by the management to smoothen our grievance the day before we left.

10-minute walk from Brickell, but nothing is around the block.
However it’s easily accessible by public transport.

We had a great time. Would definately come back to this hotel. Few minor things. Light in bathroom not very bright. Nobody told us how to work the elevator. Parking garage was hard to turn into. Small spaces and few spaces. In my opinion quite pricey. Loved pool, so very relaxing. Food was pricey and nothing special. None of that affected our stay. Had a great time.

We wanted to like the hotel, but it did not meet our expectation.
First, we had an episode of the door key not working due to battery issue. This resulted in two roundtrips to and from the lobby to the room some wait time for an employee to arrive and troubleshoot. We ended up needing another room. All of this was okay.. but the communication/hospitality at the front was less than standard. For all the inconvenience, there was no gesture of understanding/apology.
Still, what really made us write this review was the dining experience. We went for dinner - pasta was tasteless (no salt at all), pizza shockingly was a reheated, frozen kind (this one was too salty and hard to bite). This really killed the excitement of our trip. We planned on eating breakfast at the hotel, but after the dinner, decided that it would not be worth it.
Lastly, the rooftop pool is very small (max capacity of 15), not what we expected from the photos.

Clogged toilets, clogged sinks, water coming in the window through the window in the room. This was by far the worst stay I have ever had in Miami. I DO NOT recommend this hotel stay. Awful, a free breakfast for our troubles was all that was offered. Manager acted like I was lying, never got an inspection of my complaints, no follow up. Nothing. 0/10 do not recommend

Needs better management
Location was good. The breakfast very poor for the price, room facing the metro tracks, air conditioning didn’t work, the technicians (8 visits to try to fix it) said it was damaged, no other room to move to until the last night.

Decent hotel. The pics used for the rooms are a little deceptive so definitely read the descriptions. Had problems with our television and twice needed the “engineer” to come fix it, the second time we had to call twice because no one ever showed up after almost an hour. Hotel is next to Metrorail and grocery store so that was convenient.

I dont no write reviews but this was a great stay.
The room was clean. The food was delicious. The staff was very helpful. The neighborhood is awesome and very convenient. Walking distance to publix, walgreens and a gas station. They didnt have late checkout available but was able to store our luggage for as long as we need until we left for our cruise, which gave us time to do a little sightseeing. I will most DEFINITELY come back again.

There is nothing friendly about their management staff. Wouldn’t stay here again. They just don’t listen. It’s a real shame because the property has a nice interior. The service is 2 star at best. An average breakfast.

The hotel staff were terrific. I especially would like to give a great thank you to Lenin Panchame who made our stay memorable. We were there for our son’s graduation, and Lenin went the extra mile in seeing that our stay was special. Also, I unfortunately got ill one day at our stay, and the head of security - David - was nice enough to personally come to my room and see if there was anything he could do to help. I would definitely recommend the Novotel Miami.

My review is based on the missing information about the hotel and the parking lot, the hotel doesn’t have a parking included with the hotel. It’s a third party parking garage means you had to pay $35 per car, so I was looking for something economic just for one night, $156 a night which is good plus another $70 because I have two cars and another $29 transaction during the month I could’ve stayed in a more luxury hotel, the place is nice very clean beautiful inside, but this is an issue, and people should know about it before renting the hotel. Which is no refundable.

Checking in took over 20 minutes. There is no way to call the front desk from the room and when you call the main number it just hangs up. The people in the room next to mine were incredibly loud and it was past 11:30pm, and I had no way of making a complaint without having to go down to the lobby in my pajamas. Not a good hotel for business travelers at all.

They really know how to take care of their guests! The internet went down for a few hours and they provided free parking for the day. Room was extremely clean and staff was very attentive accommodating. Would definitely return! The manager was so nice to talk to as well :)

The hotel is located in the Brickell’s area close to lot of restaurants, bars Latino places. The building is new with Fantastic amenities and the rooms are absolutely outstanding. I travel a lot for business and I visited many hotels but this one is one of my preferred now. The breakfast is fresh and not the classic microwaved breakfast it is amazing. The only must to have is a Tesla charger but we will survive without

I prepaid my visit through Expedia and breakfast was purchased at the time of my booking for an additional fee, which was fine. However during breakfast on my second morning an employee working at the bar in the lobby area decided to walk back to the breakfast buffet area just as I had prepared my plate and asked for my room number. I told her the room and stated that my breakfast cost was prepaid. The employee than stated and I quote “ I’ll check”( in her broken English voice). At the moment I was insulted and frankly felt broken that at this day and time black AMERICANS are still racially discriminated against. No one else entering the dining room ( of other ethic groups) were approached or interrupted as they self prepared their plates as I need.
After minutes of waiting for a response from her (checking if I’d paid) I got up from my seat and walked out to the lobby area, where I found her waiting on patrons at the bar. I asked her had she checked yet and she than downplayed the whole situation as if she couldn’t understand what I was saying/asking of her. I then approached the front desk (near the bar area) and reported the incident to the manager on duty. The employee later approached my table and apologized as if I misunderstood her and I KNOW that it wasn’t a misunderstanding it was the unnecessary assumption that because I’m African American, I must be taking or stealing something because I’m in a hotel that’s seen as being above my financial means.

Cleanlisess needs to be cleaned up properly. Even the tv, counters, lights, sheets had dust on it. The rug same thing.
The welcoming does nor have a ‘wow factor’. Its just a regular hotel where you make up a line, pay for your room, and get your keys. Bucnh of others hotels mear by, welcome youwith either goodies, snacks, or even an alcoholic drink.
Bed was just okay.

Unfortunately the breakfast Restaurant was disappointing. Breakfast is served until 11 am, meaning if you are ready to order at 10:50, they will ignore you until 11 to tell you to order lunch instead.
We left our stuff at the luggage room at the last day, here one bag must be treaten harder because Souvenir cups from Disney World were broken afterwards…
