Lack of communication
Tried contacting the hotel several times and they never responded to my messages. We had Covid and couldn’t make it in and they would not get back to us. Would not recommend booking here.

Its a very nice place with wonderful staff. We would have given it 5 stars if we werent woken out of a deep sleep in the middle of the night with a man pounding on our door telling us he will get us. It all ended well. The police were there in less than 2 minutes. The doors open to the outside, with little to no security. That being said we'd probably stay there again.

The shower faucet didn’t work.
The room was dirty and it was some jelly on the ground next to the bed.
I asked for a room to not facing Al the freeway but they said they are not going to change my room.

You guys of Expedia need to do a better job. During booking you showed free breakfast, free parking and free Wi-Fi network. During checking in they didn't mention anything about parking fee they showed the open parking lot but during checkout they mentioned that they will charge $10.33/night. This unacceptable, you sale offering free parking and then you allow the hotel to charge parking fee. I felt cheated. You got to be honest upfront about all the fees. Next onwards I need think whether I should do any reservations using Expedia.

The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Was close to where we needed to go. Enjoyed the breakfast and bar (nice that they offer a complimentary drink). Would stay again!

Front desk staff were fabulous (shout out to Jessica!) as was housekeeping. However, during our stay over Thanksgiving, a fire broke out in their laundry area at 11:30 PM causing alarms to go off and forcing all guests to leave their rooms, mostly in pajamas. Lots of confusion and misdirection which really can't be faulted but no one took charge. Then, unbeknownst to us, the main gas line was turned off as a safety precaution. For the next 2 days of our stay, there was no hot water. Again, I can't fault them for the incident itself, but there was no communication- nothing direct via email or even posted in the lobby. It was incredibly maddening to head into the shower 2 mornings after the fire only to find ice cold water. The response was simply that they were waiting for the all-clear to turn the gas on. I get it, but why didn't you tell us ?!?

While the dryer explosion/fire that caused the gas to be turned off was not their fault, we didn't get any notice of it until we called to check on our lack of hot water. Beyond that, while showing a bit of age, the property was well kept up and all the staff we interacted with were friendly.

The bartender was extremely rude when we went to order our drinks. We were standing there for a while and asked if she can help us and she stated she will help whoever she wants. It is not ok to be treated that way. My husband just got back from military training and couldn’t even have a drink because the staff thought we weren’t worthy of it.

I enjoyed my stay for the weekend it was exactly what I needed. The room was incredibly spacious and super clean upon arrival! Staff was accommodating in helping me check in early and also gave drink vouchers! Would definitely stay again for weekend stays!

Not as described or shown on listing. Dirty and smelled. Room showed patio but wasnt included. Loud traffic noise. Front desk employees on their phones. High price for motel quality. Very surprised this is part of Hilton hotels.

I always stay at the Embassy Suites in Tempe. The staff is excellent. Since Covid, the house keeping is not every day but they will come check on you a couple times a day. I was able to get everything I needed. The breakfast staff is wonderful and very friendly.

Close to the highway - some may see this as a perk and others a inconvenience. We did not hear the traffic noise from our room. I do feel the outside if the buildings are labeled well. We had a hard time finding the correct building. After that, everything was great!

OVERCHARGE
Our stay was great. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly and couteous staff. My problem was at checkout where I was charged with an extra four transactions. My credit card should be billed for a little over $200.00 for two rooms, one night each. I was charged over $800.00 extra. I called Embassy Suites customer care service. I was told my issue would be resolved in a matter of a few days.

The best part of the Embassy Suite is its location. It is located near the exit of I-60 making it very easy access to the area. And its full breakfast is not to be missed.
Having said that, the property is rather old. And its layout is more like a motel than typical Embassy Suite. It did have some upgrades such as USB charging by the night stand and table lamp.
I am still giving it a high rating because of its relatively low price.

Great except for Parking Charge
I enjoyed everything about this hotel except that they have an open air parking lot and surprised me with a $10.39 charge for parking. Just add it in to the total price of the room. Do not like nickle and dime charges.

Suites felt very old. But I mean we didn’t stay to live. We had a problem with the A/C not working they were very quick to get it fixed so very happy with their staff. Breakfast was good as well. Property was cleaned in and out very nice. The rooms felt like older style and carpets can be cleaned. But other than that. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend them to anyone.

I always try to stay at an Embassy Suites because their rooms have never let me down and I like to have a good breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is included with the room and my experience has always seen a full, hot, breakfast along with fresh fruit cut up. Check-in was a breeze, room was clean, ice machine worked great.

I’ve stayed at several Embassy suites, and this one is definitely at the bottom of the list. I’m used to the typical enclosed Embassy suites. This one was like a motel, and it is right next to the freeway and a train track. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly and made us feel as if we were bothering them when we had questions. No one cleaned our room. We were there for four days and three nights. The best thing about this hotel was their breakfast.

Our room was very nice, clean and up to date. The breakfast was very good and we loved the bartender “Diane”. The only thing we didn’t like was we asked for more towels but never received them, so we asked again hours later and two people came right to our room with them.

Great place.
Nothing makes or breaks a trip like a hotel. This is a Great place, friendly staff. Yes, it’s a bit dated but clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Nice breakfast with made to order omelette and eggs. I’ll be back!

The phone in the room did not work for calling the front desk. They give you a free drink voucher and tell you you can use it at the bar from 5 to 10pm then when you go to use it they say they dont except it because its after 7pm. The room was dirty upon check in. When we wiped the counter you could easily see how dirty it was. The yard man started using loud lawn equipment at 7am so you could not sleep in. There was a long black hair on the bed so i doubt the sheets were clean since the 2 of us that stayed there have very short hair. I booked 2 rooms with one vehicle and they were going to charge me for 2 vehicles parking. I took photos of all this but it will not allow me to upload them.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They kids enjoyed the pool and the property was beautiful. The breakfast was really good and the staff was outstanding. I was very pleased to have stayed her with my family. If I am ever in Phoenix again, it will definitely be a property I will stay at again.

I loved how spacious the suite is staff was friendly, room was clean. the only thing I was concerned about was the bathroom light switch sparked and wouldn’t stay on, and the tub could have been cleaner.

The hotel itself was comfortable, very nice & clean. It was my second time staying there. Me & my family enjoyed the wonderful breakfast too. But the hotel staff must have been either tired or undertrained because their customer service was terrible. Each time I called the front desk, it was a different person answering & my requests were never fulfilled. And when I called back to follow up, it was a different person each time & they knew nothing about my requests. I eventually flagged down one of the workers passing by who went out of his way to help me. Otherwise, the front desk assistance felt so impersonal & disappointing.

Convenient, comfortable choice
Older facility but well maintained, good location. Very quiet if not facing the 60--interior buildings with patios or balconies are the best choice. Great happy hours!

Bath tub looked dirty, or stained. The balcony door lock didn’t work, they use a bar across the other side of the sliding door to keep it closed. We did not feel safe. Nobody advised us of having housekeeping hours. So we didn’t get our room cleaned up because we did not call at 9:00am to request it.
The only good thing about our stay is that we were in front of the pool! and the beds are nice and comfortable.

It’s convenient and the grass and inner court areas are very nice. It is slightly outdated. My AC was not working and requested someone to address the issue. It was never fixed and the room was very warm and stuffy

We felt very comfortable in our clean room. The pool and hot tub were nice but the hot tub didn't work. The food was great! The staff was courteous and helpful. Loved the in-app check-in and check-out. Enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Swimming pool in-between the buildings is convenient; however screaming kids without any supervision did not allow me do do any work in the room behind closed door!

Hotel is huge. It is a long walk from the back to the front for breakfast and the pool. Backs up to a freeway. Room was worn, carpet stains, broken desk chair. Bed was comfortable. Definitely a get-in and get-out type of hotel. Free breakfast was good.

The staff were great, the room was average. Beds were quite uncomfortable and pillows were like pieces of cloth with a few cotton balls in them. Water pressure in the shower wasnt great and they only gave us 2 towels in a suite booked for 5 people. There was no cleaning service in the 3 days we stayed there so trash piled up and we ended up taking it out ourselves.

we found it strange that there was no bath soap to bath with. they have bottles attached to the wall and you cannot reach it from the tub, the liquid soap smells wierd. the tub had mold as well.

Very close to highway could hardly fall in sleep at night (I am not a light sleeper)
Didn’t receive a receipt after fast checkout; reviewed credit card billed and noticed different amount, called the hotel and was told I was charge with parking fee despite I didn’t have a car at all. Credits were issued right away but indicates poor mgmt at the facility. How could a customer without car (no parking form filled out) be charged with parking?!

Excellent service by the young girl working front desk. The little store was out of regular milk they only had chocolate and I really wanted a bowl of cereal and all I had was the cereal and at 4:30 in the morning she went back into the kitchen got me a cup of milk a bowl and a spoon and brought them to me it was so sweet. Would recommend everyone needs to stay here this is a great place

Excellent breakfasts. Staff (such as Frederick and Magno) at breakfast were friendly and conscientious and did great work. Repairman (John) for electrical outlet and bathroom fan was prompt and friendly.
