Best in the long stay category
This hotel is very well set up for long term guests! Has a warm and inviting indoor pool. The public space is well furnished and comfortably spread out. Great grocery market with an outstanding deli and salad bar short walking distance.

Great weekend stay.
Great family friendly hotel. We were there for 2 nights for a volleyball tournament. It was in a safe area and close to the University of Illinois.

This is a nice hotel. Everything is clean and the staff is friendly. The bed is a bit hard and the pillows are too soft. It was a really uncomfortable night of sleep.

Could have been better
The place was not cleaned properly. There were fishes in dish washer. Former occupants left clothing items in room. During my stay I asked for service and they hadn’t vacuumed. They just brought towels and more toilet paper.

After a long drive through blizzard conditions, slush, then rain before reaching the hotel at 10pm; the desk clerk asks for my credit card to over potential damages! Damages! I just wanted to relax! Breakfast selection better at a gas station. Silverware dirty, I optioned for plastic. Furnishing stylist however poor quality. Not what I expect from a property with Hilton in its name.

Disappointed in checkin service
Check in was a nightmare. New employee could not find Hotels.com reservation. Told us we were at wrong address. We were not. Had to call Hotels.com to get special confirmation number. Gave us key card that didn’t work. Second time, gave us key to room that had people in it! Took over 30 minutes! Probably need to provide better training to night staff. Beds were ok, but not super comfy. The breakfast was okay.

Nice overall
Nice place overall. Stained carpets in the hallway. The sleep away sofa bedding was dirty and stained. Had to share the queen with my kid.

The room was generally fine but the so-called clean dishes left in the dishwasher were still dirty on arrival. There were a couple of areas of mildew/mold in the shower. The light in the bathroom was not working properly.
Staff was a mixed bag. One desk clerk was friendly and efficient; another disappeared during prime check-out time. Housekeepers and those staffing breakfast buffet were friendly and helpful.

Pool was atrocious. Dirty, murky, unswimable. Air conditioner loud in living room and not working in bedroom. Mattress uncomfortable-could feel springs poking you. Staff was courteous.

I liked having a full sized refrigerator and new full size microwave in the room. The room was spacious and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and tidying the room.
Our check in person was Ivy and she was exceptional in customer service and throughout our stay.
The hotel property is nice and very convenient to downtown and the University of Illinois campus.
Improvements for fresher breakfast fruits and the fruit and nut options.
The pool had a lot of chemical film on the surface. We didn't feel comfortable swimmimg.
The exercise room needs an eliptical upgrade and some sanitizer availability. Someone please reprogram the heat/air thermostat before someone passes out from heat.
The sofa in our room 315 could use some cleaning.
Overall a nice stay.

There was no top sheet on the bed. A dried-up wash rag was found in the kitchen sink.
I found a set of sheets in a drawer for the pull-out bed/couch and we put this on the queen bed.

Great stay! Spacious, immaculate, quiet, comfortable beds, pleasant staff, very will equipped kitchen, recycling next to every trash can, yummy healthy breakfast options (and clearly marked which ones are healthier). The only negative of our stay was that some scammer was calling the rooms at 6 am posing as the front desk and demanding people's credit card #'s. Not the hotel's fault, but if you get that call, don't give them your credit card #; call the front desk back and check if the call was from them!

The room was really spacious. Everything was clean and fairly comfortable. My daughter felt like her bed was a little slanted and had to sleep backwards. Mine was great. The sofa bed was a sofa bed. We appreciated the range of pillows. There were at least 3 different styles in each bed.

Our only disappointment was that the pool was not available and that only 1 of 2 grills worked, even that was only moderately hot. Otherwise staff were excellent and accommodating. Would stay there again.

When we checked in the hotel informed us that one of our rooms had been cancelled back in November. We never cancelled one of the rooms. In fact we had just received an email from hotels.com reminding us of our stay for two rooms, two nights. They did end up finding us a room but unfortunately it had only one bed instead of two. The staff were all very nice though and the hotel was clean.

Absolutely horrible stay. My kids were looking forward to the pool just to get here after a long trip to find out that it was out of order. We couldn’t even take a shower because the shower doors were broke! I was told that I had to wait until 6am. I asked for another room
And was told that it was already sold out and if I wanted to leave that they can give me my money back. Where in the world was I going to go at 9pm with kids?

The sink was dirty due to it backing up. The garbage disposal didn't work. The pool was broken as was the waffle machine for breakfast. Nothing was particularly comfortable.

Pool was broken. People were noisy all night couldn’t get a good sleep. And for breakfast couldn’t even have breakfast because the machine was out of order. Great way to represent the Hilton Brand.

We had lost power due to the weather and booked this stay last minute, it was clean and plenty of room, the kinky disappointment was the pool being closed and that's what the kids were looking forward to the most

The hotel agent cancelled our reservations even though we called and let them know our flight was late, then tried to charge us the walk in rate. Then he gave us a room with one bed for 3 people. Luckily the next day the GM fixed the rate and gave us the 2 bed room we booked. However because they cancelled our booking i did not earn my stamps from hotels.com. Then they tried to charge us for parking. This place is in a strip mall The rooms are

The TV cable was ripped out of the TV when we arrived. I called to let them know. They didn’t have any other rooms and insisted I take “Hilton Points” because I ordered through Experian and they couldn’t refund. I didn’t ask for a refund. I just wanted to let them know because I didn’t want them to think we did it.
I told her I would just deal with it in the morning but she insisted I work through her. I told her I would just deal with it later.
She called back later and gave us a small discount on the room.

We was charge parking fee with out telling us at checkin. We book thru expedia and didnt spacify about crazy parking fee. At the time of checkout they told us about the $6.00 a day parking fee.Wont use this hotel ever again..

The staff were really nice and helpful. But the hotel was so noisy. Lots of dumpsters being emptied in 3 am! And the walls and windows had no soundproofing. Of course the noise from every flush of a toilet in a neighboring room was like a waterfall in my room. These cheap buildings are being used for hotels and trying to sleep is miserable.

I had to book this hotel to drop off my son at UIUC campus. The room was super nice and spacious and the hotel was very close to the campus, which made it easy for us to make frequent trips to the campus. Also, the location of the hotel is one of the assets here. There were so many dining and shopping options within a mile radius to the hotel.
The staff were very nice and cooperative, especially with my odd hour checkin at 5 am in the morning.

I had multiple bug bites on the first day in the room and the staff didn’t much care about it.
My room was not cleaned even though I had requested several times.
Bathroom sliding door is very wired, not completely shut.
But I appreciate Molly, the front desk staff who finally listened to my concerns and complaints with kind and professional manner at the time of my departure of this hotel.

There was a coffee stain on the wall by the sink that was not clean. One of the top sheets has a stain on it, the lights above the sink did not work. My daughter stayed in another room and asked the front desk for pillows for the pull out and a blanket. The blanket had a stain and the front desk only gave them a body pillow cause that was all they had. Luckily my room had extra pillows and I gave them to her. Then they went out and bought their own blankets for the beds. At breakfast the orange juice machine was broken and the apple juice was watered down. The automatic shades were nice when you figured out how to use them. The pool was very cloudy. I’ve stay in the same hotel in Schaumburg and the Schaumburg one was really good compared to this one.

This hotel is conveniently located near the university football and basketball arena. There is a Starbuck’s conveniently within walking distance.
The room was large and has a kitchenette with a full refrigerator. The sheets were very soft and the bed was comfortable.
There are two EV chargers in the parking lot of the right side of the building as you face the front. The staff were not well versed in the differences, but there is a Tesla charger midway back on the right side attached to a parking lot light post. Further back attached to a storage shed is a level 2 J-1772 charger. They are first come first serve. Unfortunately, there was a non EV car parked in the Tesla slot and a Tesla was charging in the J-1772 space, so I wasn’t able to charge my Audi when I checked in. I was able to use it later and it charged at around 6 kW, so a decent level 2 rate.
There is a breakfast served but we did not try it because we were busy with graduation activities.
Overall, a nice hotel. Would stay here again.

The dishwasher wasn’t working. I noticed that while I was drinking from a cup that I took from the dishwasher that had a sign sayin “this dishes are clean”. There was no shampoo, so I requested some to the front desk, the front desk lady told me to look for the housekeeper and ask her. I did and she told me that she will do at 1 pm after a day I just got shampoo from the store. :/

Check in:
Molly was quite professional and this was not her fault. Computer systems weren’t working so they couldn’t check me in. Elevators smell like a mechanic shop. Hallway has been filthy with the same debris since 12pm, and I’ve seen two maids in that hallway in that time. Not even the pool works.
Room:
Open can of beer in the fridge. What appears to be a bloody mucus stain on the wall next to the door. Curly pube in the bathtub. Hair on the toilet seat. Wiped down the safety rail next to the toilet it it came back yellow.
Address the situation:
Front desk offered to send housekeeping back in. “No chance I said”. If they couldn’t get it right before I checked in I sure as hell don’t want them going back in there while my stuff is in there. Called #travelocity and they were NO help! I told them what happened, they called the hotel, called me back, and told me the EXACT story I just told them. Then offered me $25 refund on a $150room.😳🙄
Closing: #travelocity and #hilton I have a 3yr old and a 9 month old that I brought into a room at #hone2suites that was clearly not cleaned, during a mask mandate. I’m surprised the bed was made. A $25 refund is offensive. A full refund might get me to reconsider but that’s a HUGE might.

Was there for gymnastic meet at U OF I. Went with a lot of friends. Went for pool with the kids . Was very disappointed that pool was closed. That’s all the kids wanted to do in a hotel on a cold day. Also elevators smelled horrible . Smelled like sulphur or that someone passed gas our whole stay .

Our stay was part of a special train trip for the grandkids and swimming was a huge part of what they were looking forward to. The indoor pool water was so cold, it was miserable. We tried to enjoy it, but couldn’t warm up to the water. Complete disappointment. The grandkids were so upset. The baseboards in the bathroom were very dirty. Could tell they haven’t been wiped down in a long time.

Exactly what we needed
This was a very nice hotel that had exactly the set up we needed. The refrigerator and freezer space was extremely helpful and so was the sitting area. The breakfast was cleverly handled with individually wrapped items that were to be heated in the microwave. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only trouble we had was one bed seemed to have a valley in the middle which made sleeping a bit trickier. That mattress probably needs to be replaced.

When we checked in the lady at the counter was VERY friendly and helpful. I made a mistake with our reservation and booked a room with only one bed. When we asked if we could change for a double bed, she found us a room and made the change quickly. All of the people we met were helpful and friendly, My only "complaint" is that they do not have King size beds. No big deal, just an observation.

The room was pet friendly, which meant a bit of a pet odor in the room... probably from a previous occupant. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was completely empty. Of course, didn't realize until I was IN the shower. No shampoo available elsewhere in the room. So that wasn't too cool. But overall I appreciate the size of the suite, the microwave and fridge. Also helped alot that it was pet friendly. We had an appt at the nearby vet school.

Great staff!They met all my needs, very timely. I needed extra pillows and blankets and a handicap shower bench maintenance quickly installed. My son was SO incredibly greatful for.

The bathroom had many rails to accommodate my sons needs.
I was surprised to see the outdoor lounge areas and thout to myself a family could a family reunion-BBQ on the grills, nice fire place table and chairs..with a door and windows to separate the kids playing in the pool.

I liked almost everything. The automatic window blinds are great, the bed was great, everything was clean, the bathroom is big. There was only 1 tv remote, it was just me, so it didn't matter. There wasn't any dish soap to wash utensils I used. There was a weird assortment of items in the kitchen drawers that didn't seem to belong. My son has finished his Masters at UI, so don't know if we will be back, but I will recommend. Thank you

Look elsewhere - worn-out venue
The mattress was desperately soft in the center, breakfast (now realistically post-COVID at other hotels) was hugely disappointing. The hotel is only 10 years old and not up to Home2 Suites standards experienced at other locations.
