This hotel is convenient to Union Station and everything. All employees were warm, helpful and very hospitable. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. It was also very clean along with wonderful hotel amenities. We shall return often!

Great Hotel
Everything was ok, we arrive sunday late night due to weather after a 12 hour flight from Spain and all the staff was very friendly and help us make the check inn fast. Room was great . Breakfast perfect . Overall I will recommend this Hotel from now. Location is good near lots of points of interest by waking distance

Comfortable and quiet room.
Room could have been cleaner , wiped down better. Shower had old soap bar left in there, not huge but can tell not bleached well.
Building is older but classic . Large dining area for bar and breakfast in mornings. Easy access

This hotel was perfect for our stay with our 2 kids. The room was spacious and the kitchen was great for quick meals/snacks. The area was quiet and we felt comfortable walking back in the late evening. We loved how walkable it was to Millennium Park, the Mag Mile and the subway to/from O’Hare. We were able to easily walk with our luggage a few blocks to and from the hotel. The breakfast was WONDERFUL! So many options, spacious dining room, and a great way to start each morning. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago!

I’m town for a weekend visit. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance from the Amtrak Station and all the downtown attractions. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional

The hotel is nice. A little out of date but still nice. Was within walking distance for everything we were doing. Parking is not the greatest, have to park in ramp which is about 1 block away. But it wasnt horrible. Overall we would stay again.

We loved the kitchenet, the big fridge, all the kitchen utensils, the big microwave, big and nice bed, big and nice shower and bathroom. The nice sofa area.
Excellent breakfast buffet.
Very well provided breakfast with nice coffee and orange juice! Ample area for enjoying the breakfast comfortably.

The room was always perfectly clean.
The staff during breakfast was always very attentive. Kudos to both a lady from Venezuela and the hotel manager.
The Venezuelan girl gave us very useful tips and the hotel manager was always checking that everything was all right.
Will definitely return to this property! Highly recommended.

The property is in a good location and the room was nice, the staff are helpful but the cleaning department should pay more attention to details (after my room was cleaned, we noticed the beddings were worn out and had holes in them. On another occasion, we found food rappers/bottles under the chair and stain spots in the bathroom).
However, this issues were promptly resolved when I called the front desk. The other thing that is of concern is the entrance lobby/access to the lift, the hotel needs to invest in a system that uses access cards to operate the lift to go up to the rooms, while an access card is given to your staff on the ground floor to allow guests go up to the second floor to check-in.

We had another great stay at the Residence Inn in Chicago.. Our kids love the breakfast and the location. We were surprised that the towels were getting thin. It may be time to replace them.

In the middle of the financial district, very walkable and a block away from both the trains and bus stops. On the weekends, a lot of the restaurants are closed but a short 10 min walk across the river and you can find amazing spots.
The hotel itself has a very hospitable staff, amazing amenities, and has convenient daily breakfast. Def will be staying here again in the future.

Nobody assist us where to park. We can’t park right outside the hotel and the hotel workers were not approachable easily to aide us. Cars parked in front parked for a long time and arriving hotel guest no where to go.

The best hotel for Chicago’s sightseeing.
We had an extended weekend in Chicago. Chose this hotel because of its location, and we couldn’t have chosen better place. It’s ideally positioned, in the middle of Chicago’s best landmarks.

Great hotel! The rooms are large and many come with a full kitchen (if you pay for that room). The location is right in the downtown loop area, which is convenient for tourist activities. This area isn’t the best at night, so be mindful when coming back late. The free breakfast is phenomenal- one of the best I’ve ever had! Totally worth a few extra bucks to get quick and delicious food each morning.

The hotel staff was helpful and courteous throughout our stay. We found it to be central to everything we needed to do while in Chicago. The room was fine other than the pull out couch, but those are never comfortable so it was fine. It could use a little update or maybe a deeper cleaning to get all the questionable stains out. The room itself was quiet, you really couldn't hear much hallway noise, which I appreciate. Breakfast was enjoyable each morning, but my only issue would be to have a better flow for people. It felt like you were constantly bumping into everyone since everything was laid out in an awkward manner and no clear lines to know which way you were supposed to be going through the lines. I would probably stay here again in the future, but it would depend on what activities I had going on in the city.

The hotel itself was exactly what we needed for three single ladies. The male staff at the entrance on Friday evening was wonderful, helped us find a bar/restaurant right around the corner.
Every staff member at the entrance was courteous and helpful.
The only negative experience we had was when we checked in. We arrived close to 1600, which is their check in time. The female customer service staff member told us that there had been a late check out, and our room would not be ready for an unforseen amount of time. We had reservations at 1700, so we needed to quick freshen up and change. The female customer service rep said, "We have a bathroom." , she also stated, " You booked with a third party, that is the problem. "
I politely requested a discount. The female staff member retrieved the manager, he also stated, we can not tell you how long it will take to have your room ready. I again requested a discount. He then said, "Oh, it should be ready in 10 minutes." And it was.
Strange interaction. But everything else was great!

Amazing staff
Anastasia at the front desk was awesome very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. She greeted us with a smile and wave not once but twice during our stay and just always seemed happy and like she wanted to help. Awesome front desk clerk. Breakfast had lots of options some good some not so good - how do you mess up waffles they did but the hash browns were amazing. The room was spacious and a good size I didn’t feel it was the cleanest the couch had stains on it and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. There was no dish soap to be able to wash them. Beds were ok pillows though awful. Good location overall the whole stay was mid but we loved Chicago!

Nice place to stay.
Nice place, roomy, good location. Stayed 8 nights. Breakfast passable but does get crowded on the weekends. Bed quite comfortable. Folks working there are friendly and helpful. Though there's many elevators some don't seem to be operational--but did not have to wait long for the working ones to come. The Roanoke restaurant associated with the hotel is quite enjoyable. Full size refrigerator is a plus.

Easy access from Union Station. The L-Train is located one block away (it's noisy, you wouldn't want it closer). The room was exceptionally quiet. The breakfast buffet is so complete, it even has vegetarian options like Morning Star sausage patties. The coffee is excellent, and the opening time of 6:30 weekdays/7 weekends is great for an early start.

Cute room! Plenty of space for 2 of us. The room could have been dusted better and cob webs removed. The bed was a king but the bedsheet was a medium and barely fit on it. Kept coming off.

Great stay in downtown Chicago
Overall a great hotel, great room, great location, great experience. One odd thing - either the mattress cover and fitted sheet are too small for the bed or the bed wasn’t made correctly - they kept slipping off at the corner. Our room had a fantastic full kitchen. Bathtub was small, but the shower was fine. The complimentary breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Everything was wonderful. They had our room ready for early check-in, the buffet breakfast had great options, we received daily housekeeping, and everything in the studio was well-appointed, modern, and clean. Walking distance to the bean and art museum, but otherwise close to other things downtown with a quick Uber ride. Would stay here again if in the area.

Fantastic breakfast, great location, and big rooms at a great price. Halfway between Navy Pier and the museums. It was an easy walk to Michigan Ave and shopping. It was a bit off the main path - but the price made up for it! Breakfast was perfect!

Residence inn downtown loop great choice
From the front desk, staff, to the valet, who checked our bags to the excellent waiter. Rafael in the bar. Our experience at the residence was talk to your. Wonderful time would recommend this property to anyone and everyone! Centrally located I promise you won’t be disappointed.
