Last minute stay
Got stuck in Seattle after train to Vancouver was canceled due to snow. Great hotel, good location close to lots of restaurants and attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is clean and in a convenient location. However, my room was never cleaned over my four night stay. (They said that it would be cleaned every other day.) The heating/air element in the room was also extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep.

Excellent stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Just as they claim, they sure do make things right! They were accommodating, friendly and helpful. We especially found Ruben to be delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. But truly all the staff had great hospitality. If we're ever in Seattle again we will certainly be staying here!

Terrible service. Told them I prepaid from expedia but still charged me in person. Took 5 days to get it fixed, but had to ask them multiple times. Nobody cleaned the room ever and had to go up the front desk every single time to get commodities like water.

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Downtown Seattle. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well equipped, and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and the beds were great for a good night's sleep. Our package included breakfast and the buffet has a good selection of items and we could order ala carte as well which has included too. The pool was popular with our 5 year old, and the hot tub was nice and hot and a great place to relax. The only minor things to note were that the AC unit in the room was very loud, so we turned it off, and the underground parking was too expensive ($64USD per night) so we parked at a nearby lot that was cheaper. Thank you to the hotel and staff for the great stay!

Pretty much all interactions with staff were dissatisfying. Staff at check-in desk provided very little information for our stay, including that the parking garage door was going to be a challenge to navigate (there was actually specific instructions on a card tucked into the key card envelope that the desk clerk did not tell me about). Once in the room, we discovered that the AC unit was very noisy and the TV either lacked a guide or the remote buttons were worn out. Either way, the staff did little to resolve either issue during our stay despite our requests for assistance. My other interactions with the front desk were less than satisfying. BTW, the hotel parking is exorbitant ($64, pretty much twice the rate available many other places nearby) so plan accordingly. Also, what kind of hotel chain does not have an interactive guide available on their TV? This also made finding details about the hotel and amenities a chore (since there was no information provided in the room itself and the hotel website is awful) and another dissatisfying touchpoint. Maybe fine for a Motel 6, but expect more from a Hilton. All in all, our hotel experience detracted from our Seattle excursion rather than contribute to it and would not recommend staying here.

Great stay!
The stay was very pleasant. All of the staff seemed very helpful and nice when I needed an extra pillow and an extra blanket and extra towels the staff there overnight was so nice and helpful. The only reason I needed extra was because there was four of us there, but the hotel itself was very clean and everything was working.

Exploring other options next Seattle trip.
Our stay was for 3 nights. PTAC unit was noisy. Sheets have a funny odor. No daily housekeeping offered. Parking was $60/night.

The room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the shower door because it was rusted and wouldn’t shut which resulted in water all over the floor after a shower. Also, I didn’t know there was going to be a parking fee to park in the garage and was hit with a $130 charge to park there for two days!

The rooms seem a bit outdated with carpet and chairs. The bed was also not very comfortable. For the price it’s decent. The issue was we got to our room and it smelled like B.O. and then we also found a makeshift syringe in the bathroom. Leading us to believe the room was either not cleaned or cleaned poorly and don’t know what else we would find. We were moved to a new room and told about a discount we would get but have yet to see a final receipt.

They made us to pay extra fees for the parking. I never stayed in a hotel that need extra for parking. Staff was sreaming at us when we went to park. Their parking gate was not working, its not our fault

6-night Stay
Great location in the middle of downtown Seattle. For me, that's the best part. Good staff. The cleaning service was a little confusing. They were supposed to clean every other day, but that didn't quite happen during my stay. Also, I chose "free breakfast" when I was booking on Hotel.com and this hotel was included in the search results, but when I checked in they said breakfast wasn't included. Anyway, I would stay here again now that I know what to expect.

The property was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is very cozy. The cocktails at the bar are not that good and parking is expensive for guests…it was $118 for 2.5 days. Overall stay was pleasant but nothing special about the place.

There’s nothing wrong with this property but there’s nothing special about it either. The lobby is great but the rooms are dark and tired. The location is near Capitol Hill and south lake union but a bit of a walking distance from Pike Market Place. Parking is available at a hefty $60/night.

My wife and I flew to Seattle to attend a concert at the Seattle Center and some holiday shopping. The hotel was within 10 minutes of the Monorail and the Light Rail system. Our suite on the top floor was perfect for us. All the staff went the extra distance to be helpful and friendly. We'll be back.

Had numerous problems with the room. Bathroom had. Old in the tile and wallpaper. Lightbulbs out, fridge didn’t work, carpet frayed. Heater/AC rattled and had pet dander in the room and I’m allergic to dogs. I spent my entire stay there in an allergic reaction with no options!!! When I brought all this to the managers attention he said there was nothing they could do because I booked the room thru a third party!

Nice, clean property. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. The fan in the bathroom didn't function and makes it really hot when someone showers. The pool and hot tub were a great way to relax, nice they they were open till 11. We did Uber quite a bit and it was very easy access just out the front doors. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good, just a little pricey for the quality. We would definitely stay here again.

Safe, clean, comfortable
Stressed a bit trying to find a hotel in a nicer area of Seattle with secure parking, as we would have a rental car and I'd read that car break-ins are high in the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it was conveniently located, in a nice area of the city, and felt safe for two women traveling alone. We also really enjoyed the hotel bar downstairs! The parking overnight fee was $65, which is steep, but comparable with other hotel rates. I felt it was worth it for peace of mind that the car was secure.

The staff that we dealt with checking in both times were very friendly and helpful. We stayed before and after a cruise, we did not know they offered a shuttle to the port. The young man at the front desk asked us what we were there for, we told him we would be going on a cruise, he quickly took the shuttle book out and let us know that they had room for us and signed us up. When we returned we got in early and knew we probably would not get a room right away, but Elizabeth made it happen and we were in our room in minutes and before 11am. Both times we were given 2 water bottles and big smiles.

We were promised complaintary breakfast. They tryed to charge us $17. Plus for breakfast.. we talked to manager got cards for comp. Breakfast then server asked if we wanted waffles and found out they charged us $14. For waffles had to go back to desk to get charges taken off. We complained to front desk. This is ridicules ! Our credit card better not have ANY EXTRA charges or ill dispute the charges !

The bathroom was was not in good condition, mildew stains in shower and toilet rocked when you sat on it.
The room was average for the cost. Swimming pool was like the bathroom. Mildew stains and clean but didn’t look it.

When we checked in, it was late, around 930pm. Kevin at the front desk wasn't particularly friendly, and it wasn't a warm welcome to the hotel. Once we got to our room, for some reason it was an accessible room, made to accommodate a wheelchair guest. We did not require this type of room but assumed it was the only one available. The room itself was not great. There was hair on the toilet, and the bed was hard as rocks. Both my husband and I struggled to sleep as we are not used to mattresses so stiff and uncomfortable and pillows that are flat. In the morning, after not being able to sleep most of the night, I complained to the front desk and they let us swap rooms. This mattress, while a bit better than the one before, still wasn't great. The shower door did not seal properly, so when we showered, a puddle would form outside the door. Overall, I think this hotel needs a number of necessary upgrades and better service.

We have stayed at this hotel before. The rooms are clean/comfortable and come with a mini fridge and microwave which we appreciate. The breakfast/bar area are a convenience. The front desk (all) staff are very accommodating and friendly.
One reason we choose this hotel is that they have secured self-parking.
My only complaint is the price per night to park is ridiculous… other than that 5/5

Parking is a nightmare. When we checked in, we didn't have a car and they gave us a card stating that parking was $45 a day (ridiculously high). We needed to park a car out last night and we're charged $65. When I called the hotel to inquire about the inaccurate charge, the man was so rude that I was requesting a refund for such a small amount. Really disappointed, as the rest of our stay was good.

I stayed there for 3 1 nights. Slept in past the checkout time. Got a very rude call from the front desk tell me its past the check out time. They did not even want to give me any time to shower and get ready. That kind of rude service is just not done in the hospitality business

Terrible air system.
The ventilation machine making terrible noise and even worst when the A/C came on. Couldn't get any sleep. You can turn the system off but then no air in the room.

The employees were very kind, thorough and polite despite likely being worn out working in very rushed situations with many customers at once whenever I was near front desk. There would only be one person maybe 2 for a minute at the desk even during the rush of check in and check out time. The room was overall okay, the shower however, had dark colored mold and that pinkish mildew all through the corner and grout. Which overall I would just take as the rooms being just quickly wiped down between guests without any deep cleaning. The rest of the room was passibly clean without even dust so it isn't that they're not trying. The restaurant they have downstairs is a little rough as well. The seats are all cracking/peeling/broken over the covers. Employees were loudly and aggressively arguing or complaining seemingly upset because they didn't feel they were built for togo orders but we're evidently forced to take them. This conversation also carried brief complaints and references to those placing the order as P.O.S explitives etc. Additionally, hotel prices are always closer to the absurd side pricing wise, but for 2 people having to pay nearly $60 after taxes for access to the "buffet breakfast" which consisted of undercooked sausage, SOUPY "scrambled" eggs that literally swam and dripped in the undercooked parts and otherwise, as usual, continental pre-made mini pastries or toast and cereal. With their produce being seconds from going rotten.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times without any issues. But this time was terrible.
First I found a long black hair on the washcloth hanging on the towel. I just ignored it and used the other towels. Then my TV remote was not working and had no back on it covering the batteries. Then when going to use the shower the lower shower was turned on, so when I turned on the shower I was sprayed with water until I could figure out to switch it. The bathroom floor was now also covered in water that I had to clean up.
Then I found several long black hairs in the shower. (i have short gray hair, this was not mine)
If I wasn't so exhausted, I would have packed up and found a new hotel.
Terrible cleanliness and room preparation.
