Temp
I was frustrated that the room temp was 73 . No matter what I did it would not go down. I called the front desk for an override or help but all they said was an engineer could come in. It was 10pm and I did not want that. I understand they are trying to balance things but don’t allow me to take the temp down for it to just stay at 73.

Thr entire lobby and elevator area smelled of marijuana. Not just a trace, the entire area smelled strong. It was not clear who was actively smoking. As I bring my family into a hotel, I expect the hotel to ensure that employees and/or guests keep the environment clean and respect the no smoking laws and general family welcoming environment. Very dissapointimg.

The Embassy Suites is in a great location. Many restaurants are within walking distance and many shopping options within a 5-15 minute drive. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. There was an issue with the bathroom sink water pressure, but we just used the bar sink to wash up so not a big issue. Overall I would definitely recommend if you need a room in the area. Also Pet friendly which is why we choose in the 1st place.

When I checked in I was provided a key to a particular room. Upon entering the room, I determined that the room had just been used and it had not been cleaned. Garbage was everywhere, the bed was disheveled and I was left with an impression that staff do not know what is happening in their own work place. I had to return to the front desk. Though the staff was apologetic, I was offered a bottle of water for the disgusting impression of a hotel I still had to sleep in for the night. If there is such little care when you send a guest to a room, how can one trust that cleaning is done thoroughly? Oh, they don't! After settling into the room and spending some time in there, I stumbled upon an empty container of someone's snack!! YUCK!!

Great hotel but no soap in bathroom so housekeeping brought one up. Shower clogged with hair that we unclogged but pretty nasty. Otherwise, front desk great, happy hour great and perfect location for our needs.

Nice location , great staff, though some air or draft knocking sounds every few minutes for the 3 days.

I should have passed....
I thought I had made a good choice by choosing this property, but it was not as clean as I would have liked it to be. My husband and I had a 3 nights stay and I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the property at ALL! From the entranceway to the elevators, the hallways all the way to the room were in need of additional cleaning. The floors in the elevator had the same stains throughout our 3 nights stay. They never once vacuumed the hallways or mopped the elevators. Most properties have a "clean" scent upon arrival, but definitely nothing investing in masking the filth here, In my opinion of course.

Our stay was overall agreeable. The room furniture and appearance was comfortable but worn. EV chargers are one of the reasons we chose this hotel - two were broken, but the third one we tried worked.
The elevator floors were appallingly dirty, they did not appear to have been cleaned for a very long time.
The breakfast was very good, one of the best we've had in a long time.

The staff at the front desk was not personable. Upon check in, there was no mention of the 2 free drink tickets, or the fact that they were only good until 7 pm. I arrived @ 6:45 and the lady at the front desk kept me there, while staring at her computer, until 7 pm. When I went to the bar to retrieve the drinks at 7:02 - the bartender gave me a hard time and I explained to her that they wasted 15 minutes of my time @ check-in.

Vehicle charging should be removed from the listing. There is not signage or policy restricting non-electric vehicles from parking in the vehicle charging locations. The staff did not help in anyway though they admitted that they run into this issue constantly. Do not stay here if you are planning to charge an electric vehicle overnight.

Overall, we had a very good stay. Staff needs to close the door and clean behind it. There was dirt, trash, and a bug that wouldn't be seen by the cleaning crew when the door is open. Generally, the carpet and furniture in our room was quite worn. On our 3rd night we had to call downstairs to get help with very noisy neighbors on our floor. Quiet hours need to be better enforced. Breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The staff was very attentive and friendly!! The bartender Edgar was amazing, super friendly and very attentive! Breakfast was great, the made to order omelettes were delicious! The room was clean but needs some updating and repairs, possibly we just got a room that needs some attention, otherwise I would definitely recommend!

The only hiccup was when your staff barricaded the front and side parking areas of the hotel WITHOUT advance warning to us travelers. (Was apparently for some 6am coating of the asphalt parking lot surface)

Great stay. Great area. If you don't want to eat at the restaurant on-site, there are several great options just in walking distance across the way. The receptionist was awesome while checking in. Breakfast was great and the room was great, especially for families. Would stay here again and again! Not to mention the 2 complimentary drinks for adults...honey, it's a win win.

Try another nearby hotel if traveling solo
As a solo traveler I’d prefer effort spent on a clean room, cleaned furniture, new mattress and safe carpeting ( I scratched my foot on broken carpet several times )
The lobby is stunning. Huge. Incredible free breakfast. I’ve never had a non greasy free hotel breakfast anywhere. Fruit was horrible but fresh hot food was most unusual and good
Yet ! As a traveler I do not care about free food. I want an impeccably clean room, not worn out mattress and a sofa that I can sit on ( this one made me feel nauseous looking at how dirty the fabric was..I’d not sit on it ever), and a safe floor. Under lighting on bathroom is also odd as we need direct light for bathrooms not ambient light.
If I had a family to feed with me or was here for a social stay with friends or wedding party or reunion this would be great. Food and lovely pool and weight room too. All the equiptment worked in the workout room
That has become unusual in my past stays but here all was great in pool
And workout room, Lobby and food
If you are alone and are interested in a good room more than food and pool I suggest you try another hotel in this hotel complex. I’m surprised and disapointed as this is my first negative Hilten stay

Room # 216. Shower curtain rod falling out of walls. Toilet paper holder falling out of wall. Bathroom sink extremely slow to drain. Shower moldy & had pink slime in grout. Couch ripped and overdue for replacement. Random stains on walls. TV remote sticky. Table/desk wobbly and needs replaced. Room dusty. Pool cloudy.
Beds were comfortable. Front Desk lady was friendly enough.
It's a shame because you walk in to the lobby and it looks super nice. Then the room is just mediocre.

Good hotel. Great breakfast.
Computer issue when we checked in but very professional and courteous.
Requested room clean for 2 night stay. Did not happen and no new towels. Towels very rough.
No amenities… soaps in bathroom are multiple use. Glad we brought our own.
Breakfast buffet and omelet bar are the highlight of this hotel. Conveniently located near many good quality restaurants.

The parking is shared with several neighboring restaurants. The "suites" are smaller than some standard sized hotel rooms. Unless you're traveling for business in the Naperville business parks, it's not the most amazing choice unless the free breakfasts can't be turned down and you're fiending after chain upscale-ish restaurants.

We booked a room with a king size bed and bathup through Expedia, but the hotel gave us a room with only a shower and a small bed. Front desk told me that they were not sure why Expedia gave me a room with a bathup and they insisted that the bed was King size. The shower floor had a piece of metal put aside that my husband had to put back into place. No room service or restaurant open on Monday so we had to order Uber eats that day, when we called room service on Tuesday evening they told us that we had to go downstairs to place the order and get the food. For the complimentary drinks, they didn't have draft beers neither of the days we were there. What an uncomfortable stay.

We were asking to clean the rooms and empty the garbage and to get new towels for three days and no one did, even I went to front desk and asked for it, they put my room number on list for cleaning, but I shocked when I came late night and no one did any thins, they keeping doing that for 3 days.

hotel was neat and clean and staff was super helpful and friendly with the exception of the girl on duty the day of check out. She was very unfriendly.
I also was super disappointed that the hotel did not have a Jacuzzi in it like the other embassy suites properties I normally stay.
My room was also very small.

We have asked for towels and after three hours we still have not been able to get them. We arrived at 3pm, after a long travel wanting to rest but they declined us saying we had to wait another hour. And once we were able to get a room we saw that it was dirty. Our family was hoping for some rest after hours but ended up confused at to why it was a terrible room after we switched once. We do appreciate us being able to get in but we were just hoping for a better experience.

The room was pretty disgusting, but the rest of the property was well maintained and had the necessary amenities. The couch in our room was covered in stains and some appeared to be rather fresh. The bathroom was decently clean, but hairs were found throughout. The towels had stains. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, but for the price the room was not worth it in the least.

Parking is not easy at the Embassy Suites
Overall, okay for the 4 days. Huge blemish was the parking on Friday night and the flippant attitude of the desk manager. A very large event occurred on Friday night in the ballroom. When returning to the hotel at 9:15, there wasn't a parking place to be found in three trips around the building. Cars were double parked and in driveways and fire lanes. The valets for the event offered no ideas, so went into the desk to see what to do. Manager says yes its a big event. When asked why guests weren't warned he said they don't know where people will park. He then offered the Hampton Inn parking lot next door. Met many other guests having the same problem. Adequate space should have been reserved for hotel guests and the valets instructed to park some of the event vehicles at the Hampton, not inconvenience the guests actually staying at the hotel. Manager needs remedial customer service and problem solving training.

As a lifetime customer of Embassy Suites, I was disappointed in this facility. The staff and service were exemplary as I expected of Embassy Suites. However, the room was shabby and subpar. The couch had a large tear in it, the table was cobbled together and with chairs that did not match. There was a huge section of the door near the latch that had fingerprints all over it. Apparently it had not been cleaned for a long time. The sofa couch did not have linens and had to be delivered. The bottle of shampoo in the shower was empty and was never replaced because there was no maid service. Our room was not made up the second day. On the bright side, the coffee was awesome, the staff very welcoming and friendly.

Rocky was great, however, on Sunday morning I approached the hotel receptionist who was on a personal phone call and was very rude because she had to attend to me. I asked her to have someone pick the trash and deliver fresh towels to our room. I guess she failed to follow through I had to go back and ask for the same in the evening. I also think that hotels need to at least have someone come and take the trash daily and provide some service, its disgusting to three days in a hotel with no service.

This Embassy Needs to be Renovated
The beds were so uncomfortable, we never did get a restful sleep during our three night stay and the rooms need to be updated. Old carpets in the rooms and in the hallways. Old and stained couch cushions. When we asked for a room refresh and extra towels, no snacks were replenished in our room. We had to ask for snacks and although there were sheets, we had to ask for a blanket for the sofa bed. A two drink limit at Manager's Reception and they mark your "drink card." My family and I will not stay here again.

Couldn’t check in at 3:00 like website said. Then they lost power so it was close to 6:00 before we could get into our room. Second night fire alarm went off at 11:30 and had to evacuate.

Our room had a broken toilet. They charge an additional room fee, that is refundable. However, it has been almost a week and they have not refunded the additional fee per room.

The decor seemed really outdated in the room’s. Very tiny and very dangerous tubs because there is no anti slip guard. Carpet and sleeper sofa looked unclean. When we requested an extra pillow, we were immediately told NO because there were no extras available. I was denied towels until I had dirty ones to give back

Check in staff was not informative. Didn’t mention check out time, how breakfast worked or any of those typical check in questions. Breakfast was nice but they need to change the way the advertise it because it is confusing when they say “made to order breakfast”. Obviously they aren’t making you anything you like, so we weren’t sure if there was a menu or not. Overall our stay was nice, breakfast tasted good, and hotel was clean and comfortable.

Hotel looked newer from the outside, and lobby was very welcoming and nice. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Room needed a few updates...carpet was fraying at the edges and furniture was worn, stains on couch. Pool and workout room were nice, but water was cold! Breakfast was great with many options & love the omelet station.

My stay was crazyyyyy first I reserved 3 rooms only 2 were found the third one I had to spend 2 hours waiting to find the reservation! Then one of the bedrooms were not clean from the previous guest! To top it all off the pool was closed for our entire stay which was the reason we went to the hotel!

We stayed in a suite since we are a family of 6. For a room this size that accommodates that many people should have more than 3 drawers. Virtually zero storage space. Bathroom cabinet in vanity broken so we couldn't use that either. Breakfast is really good and beds are comfortable
