There was a lot of update since my last stay back in 2011. The room is nicer. No more stain in the carpet. The down side is still smell like cigarettes since smoking is aloud. I’m not use to that since smoking indoor is no longer aloud in my country. My stay for one night was $15 on January 29th 2024. The hotel taxes was more than that. Parking was $20 a night.

Staying at the Flamingo feels like old school Vegas. The grounds are beautiful and although some of the rooms are dated and in need of an upgrade, there is a distinct sense of nostalgia that I've not felt in other resorts on the strip. We'll be back.

50 people in line at check in. 3 staff members at the counter and about 10 check-in kiosks and not one staff members said hey use the kiosk if you have a reservation. I got out of line and went around to the kiosk myself and checked in. Later that week I walk through the lobby and there was 100 people in line to check in and not one kiosk was being used. The room was dirty. Drai's night club was just outside my window so on Friday night it was like the party was in my room until 3:00 in the morning. Every manager should be fired. This place sucks.

First day no hot water & had to call to get a shower curtain, paying to park was ridiculous $20 a day, resort fees when there was no resort amenities. I will not stay at this property again even for free !

Location on the strip is great. The room was very tired and in need of a refresh, carpet was filthy, mattresses were old and internet connection was abominable.

We would not stay here again. The room was dirty, hair and holes in the bedding. No hot water, tile broken in several places in the bathroom. It was very loud and couldn’t sleep.

Rooms were noisy and door handles were falling apart. The check in process was extremely long and tedious. The parking is expensive and the lot was dirty and smelly.

One negative thing about the flamingo is that they tell you the daily resort fee is $45.30 a night. Then at check in, then they advise you that it is per person That was a bit disappointing. It would’ve been better if they truly explain the resort fee . A little bit underhanded.
In the long run, it was not that much of a deal as they advertised I would now book a hotel with no hidden cost even if I have to call them personally.

One of the older looking casinos and hotels. They charge extra for an updated room. Fire alarm went off at 6 am. Just got up and left for airport.

OK stay....
It was an ok room for the purpose of showering and sleeping. Some of the fixtures were broke, didn't have hot water for a few hours, kind of run down, carpet was really gross and discolored in some areas.

It's a good experience staying in this hotel for 5 nights. The rooms seemed somehow new but a little bit dirty. We asked for a set of slippers but they said slippers are not available in the hotel at all. I wish the carpet was not dirty. They also cleaned our room every day and renewed our towels and bedsheets.

I had to fix the toilet to prevent constant leaking. Carpeting is gross and filthy. Half the elevators don't work. Property is old and used up... passed it's expiry date.

Convenient location on the strip. Enjoyed sitting in the natural animal habitat. While the room has been renovated, it was already starting to show some wear and tear (faucet handle loose, missing piece from soap dispenser). We were also only able to connect one device to the internet even though 2 were allowed. I also believe I was charged for wifi, which I thought was included in the resort fee.

No hot water or Wi-fi
No hot water in the shower for all 3 days of the stay. Hot water in the sink. Good thing there were sturdy ice buckets to fill with hot water to wash. I wasn't the only one without hot shower water.
The Wi-Fi also didn't work in the room for the entire stay. What exactly is the "resort fee" paying for?
Don't stay here if you can avoid it.

Overall it was solid. However I don’t get why we had to pay a full resort fee with all the pools closed and I think it’s tacky to charge a fee for early or late checkouts.

The seating in the garden area was nice. Size of the casino was perfect. Felt very safe. Staff was very pleasant. Shops right outside hotel eere varied and offered affordable dining snd shopping.

The Cosmopolitan Suite was NOT in a good state. Sliding doors did not slide well and had broken hardware, vents were incredibly dust covered, all lighting fixtures did not work consistently (wouldn’t come on at all in bathrooms on occasion), shower pressure was abysmal, one remote control for two TV’s, a fridge with plastic still on it, the pillows were overstuffed and not comfortable, the iron leaked, cabinet hardware showed significant wear and tear, and we found a random slipper in the cabinetry,
For the money I would NOT recommend staying in one of these rooms. After visiting family in other, smaller rooms, they were in MUCH better shape or recently remodeled.

We checked in 15 minutes early. We're told by the employee helping us with the kiosk that it would not change the bed type. We ended up with 2 queens instead of a king. After speaking with someone at the desk we were told to suck it up. The room was the same type even if the bed was different. We paid to have an early check in and for what? Then the room had makeup and hair dye all over the bathroom. There was long black hair located all over the bed. We did not use that bed. Garbage located under the chair and dresser. There was no hot water. Even after running the water for 10 minutes we ended up with Luke warm water to shower with. The toilet also has issues where you have to flush multiple times to get it to flush while holding down the handle. We had someone come look at it and were told the pipes are old just keep doing what you are doing. The room was extremely warm and the AC was not kicking on correctly

The wedding venue and habitat was nice. The room we had was dirty, the furniture was old and uncomfortable. There was no hot water during our entire visit, we contacted house services multiple times but the problem was never resolved. We received one bar of soap and did not have any cups. Extremely disappointing.

The washroom is renovated which is nice. You get an ok room for the price but I didn’t have a good or comfortable rest and below are the reasons:
It gets very loud at night. You have noise coming from the strip plus people yelling in the hallway. The fan in the room is also extremely loud. I don’t think there’s much sound proof in the windows/doors.
This is likely specific to the room but I got a pillow sham that has a hole.
My biggest problem is their service. It’s just terrible and they ask you for tips. The staff here does not really care if your stay is comfortable or not. Just making an example here, I requested for an additional blanket because the room was too cold and the front desk said we will deliver it to your room but can’t guarantee when you can get it. It might take longer than half an hour. It was late in the night and I really wanted to go to sleep soon so didn’t bother with it.
Overall not recommended unless you’re really looking for somewhere cheap and don’t care too much about having a good rest.

We liked the variability and large scale variability of all the features stores, eating variables and quality, Shopping, the tower construction, elevator access very unique and well laid out. Parking has some unique distances but works well have recommended. Kit to 2 groups coming in March. Welcome now emulates what we witnessed in many venues and features experienced when we stayed here 15 years ago

Fun time at The Flamingo
Over all the hotel was very comfortable. Room was very clean and service was very quick when requested. There was 2 restaurants on site. Bugsy Restaurant was over the top in price , but the Mexican Restaurant had great food great atmosphere and very good waiters and pricing was normal. The food court was outrageous in pricing. A 20 dollar burger meal at Johnny Rockets is a bit pricey. The Rupaul Show was absolutely great. I highly recommend this show. Our room looked out over the flamingos and a view of The Sphere. One night I looked out the room window and it looked like the moon was right outside my room. Then it changed and there was a big smiley face looking at me. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here.

i booked a king bed room with attraction view in the begining of dec. i booked for sunday 1-21 and after i got to the hotel i was told that the room i booked was given away cause we didnt check in on time. but yet i paid for the whole thing in advance i just had to pay resort fees on arrival. i was told this after we got to our room and seen it had 2 queen beds so back down to the loby we went this is after standing in like for almost 45 mins to get checked in. and then was pointed to the check in keosk and that didnt function properly the first 2 times!!!!!!!
i was very disapointed after talking to the desk after coming to the loby for the second time. the lady that i spoke to was very rude and said we dont have any king rooms!!! we gave your room away you were not here on time!! um i didnt land in las vegas until 12:15am on monday morning!!!
so the following morning after dealing with that rude front desk lady. we delt with a gentalman that did assist us. but as we were standing there a gentalmen was checking in early to his king room and said to them that a 2 bed would be fine and he didnt need a king room. and yet we had our room given away.
the desk worker did as the manager and did a $50 towards room service for the inconvienece and did a late check out which we did not use.
i am very very disapointed with the service.
my wife and i get 1 trip away a year and this year was ruined due the the service we received from the front desk.

I like the location and price of the hotel. This hotel is at the center of the strip where everything is in walking distance. We stayed in the neopolitan suite which was a really nice room. The front desk was accommodating but the cleaning staff never came to pick up our trash. We called 2 days in a row for house keeping to come pick up our trash but they refused to pick it up. Told us to just leave it and they will pick it up when we leave, for that i took off one star. For the price I paid for a suite, you'd expect good service.

Overall we feel like this hotel needs a good update to the rooms. There was mold on the shower ceiling and places in the room where it needs a new paint job. The bed was comfy and the shower water pressure was good. We think pre check in kiosks need to be in a different area than right next to the checkin desk. It’s confusion and it seems like you either have to stand in the line that is waiting to check in with a person before accessing the kiosk or cross over the rope (and cut in line) that is forming the line to use the kiosk. If you had the kiosks to the side it might not cause issues with people standing in line thinking the pre registered people are cutting in line.

I liked that we were at a good walkable distance of many locations. I didn’t like that even though I requested room service I had to ask for toilet paper on day 3 and even had to throw my own trash away during my stay.

I couldnt recommend them less. Our rooms were filthy (dirty sheets with bodily fluids and hair and a clogged toilet). I booked together for my kids and they placed us on exact opposites of the hotel very far away, and I had purchased strip view rooms and they weren’t even that. and when I brought it up to management they were very uncaring and dismissive and only wanted to offer a $20 food and beverage credit.

Broken shower

Arrived by private car. Road to entrance was closed. Had to drive through another hotel's parking ramp to get to entrance. No signs, no directions, no help in very heavy traffic. Check in instructions were to check in first, and then use our room key to enter parking garage - wrong. Had to go park first. No hot water the morning we checked out. Body wash dispenser in shower never worked after several attempts to get housekeeping to fill/fix it. Room was Ok, but the property is kind of a dump. NO service, concierge, stand in line for 1/2 hour to check in. No value proposition here.

I dod not like the resort fees being not paid through my travel site and makong mr pay upfront resort fees before i get a chance to stay there. Rooms were sub par...broken toilet paper holders, broken thermostat that even calling the fro t dest to let them know was never fixed my room was 60° for my entire stay

Staff at front desk were nice to deal with. Luggage check was awesome. We needed to use it when we got there and when we left.
Our room needed some work. Tub and shower really shows it’s age and can use a good scrub.

A friend was being surprised with a proposal and we stayed at the Flamingo. The room was convenient to the Drai’s nightclub where the event happened and everything in our room was perfect. The view was fantastic. Oh and she said YES!

Check in: able to do on-line check-in & to notify property of late check in but could not find where to do contactless check-in but front desk staff were available to officially check-in.
Suite:
1. no kettle, no complimentary tea, coffee, nor cups of any kind.
2. No booklet in the suite to on how to make outside calls & amenities. May have been on the TV but did not check. Internet connection was not easy to access, needed assistance from IT. Being from out of the country, I did not set up intermational texting which is what the property AI Ivy was trying to get me to use for Ive to help me.
3. attemted to phone outside business's to book excursions & to phone other hotels to connect with friends staying in nearby hotels. Unable to do so. Kept getting responses on the phone "this phone number has been reported as scam, if this is ......" & "This call cannot be completed as dialed" & line went dead. Called front desk & did not get a satsifactory solution to this problem
4. Fridge in room did not have a freezer.
5. Shower temperature took 10 mins to warm up & another 3 mins to get to a temperature to get into shower. (I timeed this on the 2nd day that I was there). I was very concerned about the waste of water waiting for it to heat
6. Lots of towels, housekeeping promptly sent up paper cups when asked, beds comfortable, able to change temp in room for comfort, blackout curtains perfect.

Shower did not heat or warm until 30 minutes for both mornings. I was not in a rush so I left it running. Night stand with power outlet was not connected. Is not connectable unless you are strong enough to push out the heavy bed frame.

Horrible experience. Housekeeping did not clean my room. I called 4 times and then they tried to show up at 10:30 at night while we were asleep. Then - again - the next day they did not clean it either. Terrible customer service. No one seemed to care and I had to argue to even be transferred to a manager. NEVER AGAIN.

Great location, but hotel is undermaintained
Upon arrival the room was missing hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner, this was easily fixed with a call to the front desk. Upon trying to log into the internet, there was Wi-Fi signal, but no connection to the internet. After a 20+min call with help desk/IT they were unable to fix the internet the rest of my stay. Mind you you pay $45/nt resort fee for things like internet. This was a work trip, so this was a bit frustrating. Lastly, the hot water barely worked in the shower. You had to run the water for 10+min to get it to go from cold to luke warm. Overall, I do not blame the hospital staff, I blame a poorly maintained building. Riding the elevator, I heard these complaints from multiple guests.
