This was you get what you paid for moment. If you are young and wanna party perfect place to do it. Otherwise this was trash, the unit was dirty, they aren’t willing to give more then one extra towel, and literally good luck on getting more bedding if your staying longer. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, leaving it with a musty n grime smell. This unit also had no fire alarm, as it was sitting on Shelf in one of the closet. There was several parties going on several nights of our stay. The stove was dirty, and same for the floors. In the end, I bought my own towels, plastic forks, spoons, and plates, blankets, toilet paper, cleaning products as well. As well as when I arrived, I tried calling the front desk and NOONE answered, the staff member I dealt with to check in was rude and nasty. In conclusion; if you wanna party and don’t care about your setting then this is the place for you. If you have any type of standards with where you stay, this isn’t the place for you and I advise you to just pay the extra money and stay somewhere that is clean. Side note trying to get the staff to fixed any grievances one may have, good luck to you, one is better just getting everything one may need. Staff provides no type of help whatsoever.

The woman at the front desk is nasty, arrogent and a real b*#ch. She treated us and other guests checking in while we were there awfully. This was unfortunately witnessed and commented on by others that were staying there. She also made us pay a daily resort fee that was already paid through Expedia. She would not make to effort to check and became belligerent when asked repeatedly to check the booking. Expedia is refunding the resort fee amount and will go after the hotel for it. This was confirmed by the expedia agent moments ago. Never again!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Staff was rude. The room did not have all amenities that are mentioned on Expedia water was dripping from the floor in the bathroom. The floor in the living room was coming up where those cracks an inch high oven didn’t work. There is no washer and dryers, and if you like their staff cussing at you in Spanish, then this might be the place for you, but it was a horrible experience. Tried to raise issues and got nothing solved through Expedia or the hotel straight. Horrible, horrible horrible

Good value stay, but out of the way.
Very enjoyable stay. I will say, though, that Beachside is a considerable distance from South Beach and amenities, though there is reliable and frequent public transport at the doorstep, including the free Miami trolley. The pool, located at 7500 Collins Steet, is not a practical option if staying in Beachside. Overall, though, the stay was good value.

They changed our address to a more remote location 4 blocks North. Help desk was not helpful at all. When we told them about the room is not matching what we booked. They said that’s only online, We don’t have these rooms available. The worst service I’ve ever seen.

The property is nice and quiet. There was transportation close at no charge but there weren’t any coffee shops or stores in that vicinity. We had to walk about six blocks.

I’ve stayed multiple times at the Beachside and Seaside properties. They are cute old Miami Beach apts with a lot of character. It’s a busy and somewhat chaotic operation with multiple buildings. Mariel & Rodrigo are great managers. They are quick and creative at solving problems and putting out fires. They were able to accommodate my needs and address any issues that came up. Overall, the apts are comfortable and the full kitchens are great for savvy travelers. It’s a really busy beach environment with many restaurants, bars, markets and businesses nearby. Cons: room keys constantly screw up, floors really hard to keep clean. The internet/tv is spotty, but who needs it when the beach is directly across the street?

Great location and the room was as expected. I did have to ask that the floors be washed on the second day since they just weren't clean. There is a number to call if you want to talk to someone at the front desk but they rarely answer. I had to ask that the room keys be re-coded EVERY DAY since I was continually locked out of the room. The room was not made up daily, had to call twice and on the day before I left, they didn't even bother to make up the room. I requested face clothes for 3 days in a row and finally received them on day 3. Lots of potential here, but overall just too many little things they couldn't get right.

This is a nice-looking small motel, but it definitely is not a resort. When I arrived to check in, having paid for my whole stay in advance, the desk clerk showed me a computer screen that supposedly showed Travelocity had not paid the motel enough money to cover my prepaid stay. He refused to let me check-in, even for a night. I was refused a room and left unhoused in Miami Beach--at 6 p.m.--and me a senior citizen with luggage and nowhere else to go. I can't express how awful this was--a vacation ruined by Beachside Motel. Be aware this place will scam you, treat you land mistreat you. Pick another place to stay.
Soon after learning of what happened, Travelocity promptly refunded to me the entire prepaid cost of the stay. Thank you, Travelocity!
NOT A SINGLE WORD of apology from Beachside Motel, I noticed, though, that after my experience, Travelocity started warning vacationers on its website that this motel charges extra rent ("resort fees" for no resort service) at the time of check-in. But don't let Beachside scam you. Don't book a stay there.

First the room I requested wasn't appreciated. Kept telling me to come back the next morning and the morning after for availability. The floors were disgusting looks like they haven't been cleaned in years, the bottom of my feet were black. I had to walk around my hotel room with shoes on and constantly had to wash my feet off. The air conditioner was broken in one room at times. Noise wasn't horrible but at times I've woken up out of my sleep. As for house keeping services, they stopped by twice and that was only to bring towels therefore, no cleaning was taken place. Shower overflowed at times due to the lack of cleanliness. Overall I would give this place 1/2 of 1 star if that was possible. Charged too much for that service, recommend somewhere else to stay.

We were positively surprised after reading many bad reviews; the room was clean and we had everything we needed, the location was alright, the wifi worked, the staff was very friendly. The microwave and washing machine were broken and there were not many utensils and cleaning supplies in the kitchen, so if you plan on staying for a while and cooking for real this might not be for you. Considering we paid less than half the price we had to pay for any other room in Miami Beach those days it was definitely worth it.

Ugly and very dirty rooms, we requested a room change and were told to reach out to a manager ourselves who declined at 1st and offered a room change for next day when we were unable to take a shower because the bathtub drain was locked, after complaining for have of the day, another room was provided, better condition but still incredibly dirty. Be ready to spend time in the front desk complaining and another day for cleaning your room before your family can start enjoying or seek for better options ahead, there are plenty around. See the picture and make you own decisions. I hope this help the property to do better, because the location is perfect but the dirty is disgusting.

My entire apartment was infested with bugs and the staff made no effort to clean it before it renting it. More importantly, my room looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. Nothing at all. Zero resemblance.

Where do i even start if I could give this place a negative review I would book at your own risk I had a terrible experience and staff where rude and not understanding I booked a room with a double bed and only got one the whole staff gave me a run around on switching rooms and the room it self was on the corner so all we heard was cars all night long will never book with them again

Condition of the room was appalling. Broken window in the bedroom. Tab handle came off while using. Shutters so old and really difficult to use. Everything was dirty. Place is in a desperate need of update.
Termites came out after a day we moved in.
It is nothing like what had been advertised on Expedia. Extremely expensive for what you get.

This property did not have any of the amenities or cleanliness that they claimed on their website. It says that they use the highest cleanliness standards but when we got to our room the tub had mold in and around it, there was a pile of sand in the tub. The toilet had pee all over the rim and the seat. When I called the front desk to have someone come and clean the bathroom they said that someone had already been in our room to clean. I then asked for them to come look at it and they said that they could not because it was too busy. I had to go and get cleaner and gloves just so we could shower and use the toilet safely. Then when we went to go to bed and pulled back the covers, we found the sheets stained and they appeared to not have even been changed and that they staff only tidied the room rather than clean it. The next morning I went to make coffee and I was not able to because the coffee pot had several layers of burnt coffee in it. I went to the gas station to get coffee. We wanted to utilize some of the drinkware in the room and could not because it was very dirty and unwashed. The website also claims that it has convenient onsite limited parking with on street options as well. The hotel DOES NOT have onsite options! It only has on street options that you have to pay for and good luck finding anything close to the hotel. You will have to walk a minimum of 5-6 blocks. Website claims that there is a hair dryer in the room there is not. Not close to shopping & airport.

Room had no fire alarm, smelt as if something was dead inside and when we showered the water from the shower would settle on the tile floor in the bathroom under the sink (main reason for the smell).
Requested a second room and took them two days to get a second room. After relocating to the second room we used the toilet and it would not flush feces. Informed the front desk and it took them almost three hours to send someone over which later told the front office he fixed the toilet when it was not fixed.
Informed the front office again and they looked at me as if I was lying about the toilet being not fixed, but I had video to prove it wasn’t and requested a different room.
Third room that we were moved to the shower did not drain so you were showering in your own filth and the sliding mirrored glass door for the closest was barely holding on and almost fell on my son and self. We have all this on video.
That this point my wife and I were done, we came down for a funeral and these condition are unacceptable for anyone to endure while staying ANYWHERE!!
Told the office we were leaving early and demanded a full refund. The experience was horrible, the rooms were not even par and you have to walk almost five blocks to get linens because they truly have no housekeeping.

Attention to detail and cleanliness to be desired.
It was made clear that there was no housekeeping , which is fine. However there was nowhere to put any trash, which resulted in a weeks worth of trash accumlating outside the rooms untill someone checked out and a member of housekeeping collected it all up. The inside of the property needed a good deep clean. I spent the first night with clorox wipes over everything, and collecting all the syntheitc wig hair from around the etire room. Kitchen utensis were not clean, and needed to be soaked in bleech and hot water before I could use them. Location was ok, and security was good. Ammenities in the room were sufficent, albeit needing a good clean before using.

There was terrible experience I ever got. Nasty personal who don’t know what to do. No manager. 12 nights no Housekeeping (((( This is not hotel This is motel is very poor condition. Every day I spend my time and Gasoline drive to pickup towel,,soap Toilet break every day. Two days my room was blocked delivery boxes. I want my money back.

The room was clean except the floors. The appliances were not clean. The room smelled of smoke and was musty. It was not a family friendly place. There was a lot of smoking in the courtyard and adjoining rooms, but I suppose that is not the hotel’s fault. Getting towels and extra toilet paper was difficult. I had to flag down one of the cleaning staff to get these things. I was promised dish cleaning soap and sponge and that never showed up.

OVER PROMISED AND UNDER DELIVERED
Pictures must’ve been taken when first opened. Furniture peeling, dated and mismatched. 5 parking spots in a small place behind the hotel, so you have to fight for a spot ON THE STREETS. You will NOT get any rest. The walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. The “hotel” sits on a busy corner with lots of traffic and honking horns! The “hotel” is more like a refurbished apartment complex. You’re better off at Motel 6 or Super 8! You’re DEFINITELY just paying for the location NOT the actual “hotel.” As for the staff, we don’t have enough characters for that!

They have a lamp to light the room. There is always a musky smell when we come back to the room. You have to find own parking . There is a gap between the door and the floor , meaning bugs will come in to the room. Plus side it was close to the beach.

The property had bugs and nats. The tv in the bedroom did not work. My hotel key had issues with working and I was stuck outside my room several times. One of the housekeepers assured me someone would deliver me a new key and no one did. I had to walk with three kids: ages 8 6 and 8 months to the main office and the staff member had a nasty attitude about helping me. I reported all of this but no one helped me with anything I always got the run around. Will never stay here again.

This hotel is great the people in the community is very nice the beach is very close they also have a playground for the kids right next to the beach the hotel was clean The people in a hotel was very nice also the staff was great if you want to save money on food they have a kitchen a sink to wash and cook even a washer to wash and dry your clothes The parking is amazing you don’t have to pay they have on site parking for free free Wi-Fi I mean everything was great The room I was in the pool was right outside the door the surrounding stores are very cheap on food and not expensive at all I recommend everybody to this hotel my overall experience for my first time was extravagant.

Great stay!
The stay overall was great! We had a little trouble at check-in but the receptionist was able to fix the problem without a manager. The room was great! Everything was as seen on the pictures provided and the place was very quiet! Definitely will stay again in the future.

++Pros: specific to 7310 Harding Ave location - very clean, large studio, excellent outside lighting /felt very safe, building looks nice and seems recently updated, the few housekeeping staff we saw wore masks -which was great
//Cons: no supplies for kitchen (no soap, dish towel, washcloth /scrub, dish-rack), no trash liners for kitchen or bath, only 1 roll of TP was in our bathroom, initially kitchen sink did not have hot water but I discovered the hot water had been turned off under the sink (so I turned it back on), WiFi is unpredictable and was not available 2-3 times a day for 20-30 minutes each time, the clothes washer/dryer combo was confusing to use (might be user error ^_^) and should come with a 'how to /FAQ' sign
-->The most disappointing aspect was lack or care or response; I left a voicemail regarding above requests/concerns as well as sent an email plus 2 follow up emails and never heard back from hotel team (we were there for 4 nights)

Slumlord hotel that does not clean
For frame of reference, I spent 8 years in the Army. I'm used to not fantastic sleeping conditions...but not when I pay for it! This was by far the worst hotel I've ever been in and considering I've slept in Army hotels, that's saying a lot.
1. There was no cleaning service. The towels we had on the first night were the same on the fifth night, despite multiple calls to the office to get fresh towels. There was another customer who had to visit the main office to get fresh towels when I was originally checking in so this is not only a one time occurrence.
2. There was only one opened roll of toilet paper, which ran out in less than 5 days. We had to request more toilet paper and management was not quick to get us toilet paper and ignored us the last time we asked for one last roll.
3. Sure, it was renovated but not anywhere near the pictures on they posted. Everything was from Ikea. There were only 2 beds, a small "kitchenette," and a bathroom. It was sparse and did not match the description of the room. The kitchenette only had a small hot plate instead of a stove, like pictured.
4. We had to take our own trash out. Not the end of the world but this is first for a hotel.
5. The only time we saw cleaning personnel was to check to see if we were checking out of our room.
6. You can see light between the door and doorframe.
7. The filtration system on the pool sounded like a waterfall. It was rather loud.

This property was located next to a nice clean beach. I don’t know if it was just our room, but it wasn’t like the pictures. For quite some money and distance from south beach, you would think it would be a little more put together. There was a hole in the bathtub, no mirrors. No basics for a kitchen like a spatula, paper towels. The tv is very tricky to turn on, you have to restart the router. When we asked for things they laughed. There was one kind gentleman that worked later at night. When we first checked in the systems were down, so we were told to come back later to finish the check in process, which is at a totally different area. They then locked the doors because we didn’t come back quick enough that night. Just sucks because Miami is beautiful. I don’t give reviews especially bad ones, but when that guy laughed at me when I asked for a small mirror and a broom, that made me very angry.

Would never recommend this hotel. When i went to check in, they told me my room was not available and gave me a room in another location... the more incredible thing of all was that, on my last night stay, I arrive at my room and could not access. I thought it was the key... and they I learnt the hotel had deliberately gone into my room, gotten all my things and moved... literally moved all my stuff to another room. I got no call for this, no one waited for me to get to the hotel to go this.. what can I say... just unbelievable

The check-in could have a better process with the wait. However, the clark was nice and so were the rooms (very spacious).
The Charly is free and the stop is nearby to acommodate transportation further down S. Beach.

We loved our little staycation here! It was such a short walk to the beach and the property is so lovely! It was also really nice to have a full apartment instead of a traditional hotel room. We had a whole kitchen, living room, dining room, and separate bedroom and en-suite. Way more than we were expecting for the price! Check in is down the road and parking is street parking, but those are really fair compromises for the value, location, suite size, and amenities. The staff were great and offered us complimentary towels and chairs to borrow for the beach. They also had free drinks nightly at a different location (which they also provided free transportation to/from for happy hour) but we didn’t have time to go during our stay. We will definitely be back again though!

I didn’t like that early morning they fix the next apartment bathroom while I was there. But the most annoying was that they didn’t wait until 9am or 10am to start fix the problem. They didn’t care and they start like too early, I couldn’t have good sleep. Pretty bad, the managers decide to bother early morning.

We had a great stay at the Beachside! The check in has to be done at another location a short walk away, but we didn’t mind that because the area is so cute and walkable! Parking is on the street but at the hours we came and left we were always able to find a spot within a block or too and parking on most streets is free which is great! The hotel itself is adorable and the suites are quite large and lovely for the price! You can also get beach towels, chairs, etc. at the same office you check in at. The staff are super friendly and helpful! Honestly I could keep raving. We had a great time, felt it was great value, and we hope to come back soon!

Avoid these hotels.
Bait n Switch. Pics are not real. The main office is 3 blocks for location and there were no one at office when we went. Made us wait for 30 minutes before they arrived. Changed the building. However, they were very strict on departure time - refused to give even 30 minutes extra. In adequate utensils. TV in front room didn't work.

This hotel my flight was canceled due to the weather and this hotel stole my five hundred dollars when all I wanted to do was stay on another date denied me and of staying for my same four nights two weeks later and then said I couldn’t have my five hundred dollars back because I was a no show I am very disappointed in EXPEDIA AND THE S BEACH HOTEL ORGANIZATION OR SYNDICATE BECAUSE WHAT THEY DID WAS MORE LIKE ORGANIZED CRIME IN ALL MY YEARS I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COMPANY TAKE A CUSTOMERS MONEY WHO NEVER STAYED WITH THEM DENIE THEM A ROOM ON A LATER DATE AND JUST SAY OH WELL THIS COMPANY HAS NO COPERATE OFFICE AND ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER THAT WANTS TO TAKE PART IN A VACATION WITH S BEACHFRONT HOTELS AND PROPERTIES

I only had one night booked at this property. Check in was great. I was barely there but when I did try to get into my room, my keys randomly stopped working. I called (because I was at a different location than the main office) and was told someone would bring me a new key and after several phone calls (not every phone call was answered), I ended up having to walk to the main office to get the keys myself because the person never came. Room was nice and clean but was disappointed being locked out of my room and was outside for almost an hour. I also tried to call a few times to check out like instructed, and no one answered.

Extremely room and comfy room. Nice neighborhood. Just a inspected "fee" on check-in. $100 as "insurance" that they give back on check-out. Maybe is a standard procedure, but I wasn't aware.

Caught in my towel by rude staff
I was traveling alone and dependent on uber and lyft to make my way to and from locations. I called ahead and was advised I would be staying at 7710 Harding once I arrived and couldn't find the front desk I called and was told with attitude that the front office was located on 7500 and hung up, I walked all the way to 7500 and harding to search for this floating front desk when I called again and they didn't answer the phone for 30 min then told its 7500 and A1A not harding so I have to walk yet another few blocks. When I arrived one employee was overseeing the entire operations and it took him over 45 mons to attend to me. I recall asking for a late check out and he offered until 1pm. Fast forward the next day at 11am the cleaning staff practically kick me out stating I didn't have a late check out. One of the ladies the manager walked in left the door open and I had only a towel on and I had to insist that she shut the door. When I spoke to her to explain she only knew how to say NO it was the first word out of her mouth then tried to charge me more then the room for the late check out they offered complementary. Very unprofessional place of business, I will not be back and expect a full refund for the level of uncomfort and lack of privacy

Really appreciated the kindness of Juan Carlos, Lazuro & the two shuttle drivers.
As a writer, appreciated the quiet of this property with the exception of one noisy group.
Will certainly return during my business trip in a few weeks.
I will say that I Iike the zen bathroom at the Waterside property more than at this property, with particular regard to the tub.
Love the large refrigerator, & the hardwood floors.

There was a hiccup in reserving our reservation at Waterside (we were with a group) and you guys were sold out. However, Michael was so patient and helpful with us and managed to save the day by directing us to a sister property just walking distance. He sold us on the room and it was exactly the way he described as it was spacious, with lots of room for our group on very short notice. :-)

It was really great, the area is nice and calm. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Although theres no parking in the property there is really lots free parking spaces around the property.

The property was too good but I booked for a 2 queen beds but when I entered into the room it was only one bed. Then, I called the front desk, they said that we booked only for one and of course there are no rooms available with 2 beds. I don't know whether the problem was from Expedia or beach Side hotel. At the end Expedia charged me for 2 queen beds (3 persons) but I got only one bed. For which I slept on the floor which was a very bitter and bad experience for me in the Florida trip. I never expected this from Expedia as it was a trusted one.

DESPICABLE N RACIST FRONT DESK CLERK SERVICE!!!!
The hotel staff at the front desk was awful, I have stayed with the south beach group hotel dozens of times in the past 6 months, either for vacation, to enjoy a day off, work or simply because i needed a space for night, and i have never been treated as bad as this front desk clerk treated me this past Friday morning. She not only refused to show me any customer service, but treated me as if i was a total stranger n a threat to the hotel, that is because i was simply transferring from one property to the other, she made me wait with all my luggage outside in the 100 degree weather for over 3 hours until she could put me in my room, and when i called to simply ask if there would be any possible way that i could get in my room, i was not only cursed at but hung up the phone on me, for absolutely no reason, so when i reached out to one of the housekeeping staff which by the way where phenomenal, they already had my room ready so they did their job, the job that the rude short unprofessional girl @ front desk couldn't do, and with a little effort in their side, within minutes i was finally in this nice n clean room that the housekeeper manager immediately got me in, i believe her name is Madalena, n im so thankful for her n her staff who went out of their way to help, unlike the clerk at 7500 Collins on friday morning who has even refused me to give me her name and quiet frankly she should never have that job if she can't treat people equally the same. Shame on you miss...

The Stuff never mentioned the this property had a emergency phone on the premesis because by accident we left the key inside the room and it was no way of connecting with the stuff, I had to open the door without key and it was a minor damage on the door ,our &100 deposit was enough to cover the repair and they charge us unfairly a $400.00 more than they said by the front desk in witch they didn’t had the office at the rproperty ,,,Terrible service and desapointed experience

We travel a lot and undertstand for the price it’s tough. The rooms don’t have good air conditioning so it’s very hot. You are right next to a main highway so in the morning you will get woken up by Cars. The door never worked and because the lobby is 5 blocks away. You have to drive there if there are any mistakes. Overall I was very unhappy. I never complain. But I figured I’d save someone else from the horrible experience I had.
