This hotel is very nice and the beds are so comfortable. The lobby staff is attentive and we appreciated the champagne upon arrival. The restaurant is good, although we wished that room service was available late night (it ends at 10pm or 11pm). We loved that the food trucks are right around the corner and open almost all day/night. The hotel location is great for getting to 6th street and it's an easy walk to the capitol building. All in all a good stay.

A wonderful hotel with all the amenities! We enjoyed the bar in the lobby immensely. The Azua Bar at the rooftop was lovely too. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Great location!!

New Year’s Eve Weekend
New Year’s Eve Weekend. Absolutely loved the hotel beautiful. Everyone super attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that we were hotel guests and could not attend the New Year’s Eve Party Rooftop. Apparently tickets to the event were sold on website and social media? However this hotel is not cheap and the fact that we were told the event rooftop had been sold out was unacceptable to me as we were staying there.
Events such as these should guarantee hotel guests to attend, make us primary and those that are not staying there, charge them if you want to attend these type of events at your establishment
I was very disappointed in this as this was the main focus of our trip

Excellent stay! Everything was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Perfect walking distance to many great spots. Only complaint is the valet parking, sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get your car. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin Austin Downtown. Our room was comfortable and clean. There were great dining options and the rooftop bar was amazing with beautiful views!

when we arrived the service was exceptional and we were assigned a room, but as we walked into our room we were instantly overwhelmed with a horrible smell.
i went to the host and she assigned me a second room, which was perfect until i attempted to turn the power onto the television which did not work. i called the service desk from my personal phone sine the hotel phone didn't work(later learned by the maintenance man that the hand held dive needed to be replaced). lastly the shower floor had a large 4in x 1in gash with rust just waiting for someone to slide their foot across, i was told that it was on the schedule to be repaired soon.per the maintenance man.

The Westin is in a great location...close to the Austin Convention Center and a block away from 6th Streeet. Tons of restaurants and night life nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and met my expectations relative to the Westin brand.

Valet service was expensive and terrible. 30 minute waits to get your car and 15 minute waits to drop off your car and rude valet staff. Would only stay here again if I didn’t have a car.

One Night Bday stay!
Amazing 14th birthday stay for our son, even just for the one night we stayed! Staff was wonderful and very friendly! My son ordered the steak frites from the restaurant downstairs and he said it was hands down the best steak he’s ever had!( No offense to his dad who loves to cook) lol!! Best rooftop view of the city! We definitely will be back for a longer stay next time! Thank you very much for our beautiful stay!

The front desk manager, Aaron, was so helpful and even though when we arrived to drop our bag off and everyone was checking out at noon and the lobby was super busy, he still gave us his upmost attention and was professional and amazing at his job, never flustered. He made us feel very special and valued. This hotel is soo lovely! The rooftop bar and pool are fabulous! All the staff we met were great and nothing was too much trouble. All kudos goes to Brennan in the bar, he had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. 5 stars plus to him!! This hotel is wonderful, great location and walkable to bars, restaurants etc. They have happy hour 3pm to 6pm - £5 glass of wine, £5 draft beers! Plus other deals (can’t remember them all!) you won’t be disappointed!!

Great hotel, great location
Staff was friendly and helpful. We were there for a friend's bachelorette party. The rooms were comfortable and spacious for 2 people. The rain shower was amazing after being out on Texas heat all day. Theor pool and cabanas were sustainable for group hangout. They bar downstairs had an amazing happy hour! There are even food trucks right next door and all the bars on 6th street are around the corner. Great hotel, great location.

Austin weekend getaway
The hotel is in a great location. There is a nice jazz and blues club right across the street. Eddie v’s and Stella (part of the hotel) are right there. My only issue is the rooftop pool is too small for the number of guest.

This place was amazing. As soon as we pulled up they treated us with the utmost respect. Opening the door for me and helping with unloading my bags. The lobby was very nice with a modern look, friendly staff and great service. The pool and rooftop bar was amazing, great view and nice bartenders. The location was THE BEST. Especially if you’ll be drinking on 6th street, so nice to walk home a few steps instead of calling a Uber every night. Can’t recommend it enough.

The property was in a good location, but not up to the standards of other Westin hotels. Restaurant was mediocre, despite excellent service. Would have like to see a Sunday brunch buffet.
It was inconceivable to me that they charge $54 tax and tip for valet parking for guests staying at the hotel. There should be a free or reduced rate for guests, imho.

I’ve stayed at several Westins over the years and my boyfriend used to work for the company so when choosing a hotel in Austin it seemed like a no brainer! WRONG. Our “Heavenly” bed which is supposed to be top notch which was another reason we booked this hotel - had no mattress cover exposing all the stained bedding underneath. Gross. Then, our toilet clogged so easily without any paper even in there and they gave us a toilet snake to fix it ourselves. DISGUSTING. We stayed for ONE night and it was not what we were expecting at all and quite honestly never plan to stay at another Westin again.

Overall great location and hotel as expected but room quite disappointed.
Gave list to front desk so hopefully they can improve...
1. Shower door didn't close so water kept coming out

The valet parking guys were very polite and helping. When i checked in the girl at desk didn’t see i had booked 2 rooms. She didn’t explain what or where amenities of hotel. When i checked out and ask for our vehicles the valet guy stated we had to wait 20 minutes because the valet guy from last night took my key home. We waited over an hour. I will not be staying again.

Not the quality I’d expect from a Westin but okay. For the price I was expecting the rooms to be a little nicer. There were some fine details of cleaning that were missed (spots on the walls in the bathroom, hair in the bed, fingerprints). The pillows and bed were not to my liking comfort wise. Good location, nice lobby. Cute rooftop pool but it’s a lot less grand than the pictures come off.

The room 425 has literally no view shouldn't even be a $350 room !the shower door didnt shut the helper with our luggage look like he was on something vip said $64.03 they took 100 even for no dame reasons then about 10 hrs after we left they charged another 240 almost $700 a night O and the bed was hard never again!

Valet parking TERRIBLE
I paid for valet parking and my truck was parked on the street. I wasn’t made aware that my truck would be parked in the street, it’s a 70k truck I wasn’t okay to see it on the street in the morning next to a homeless man

I found my room to be very comfortable with a great bathroom and shower. The rooftop bar and pool were fun but was definitely a place for hot singles. The hotel is located right in front of South Congress which I know realized is a whole row of bars. So I was definitely in the middle of the party, lol! So if that is something you're looking for then this hotel is for you. I will note that my room was quiet given how close I was to the nightlife.

Hotel was great with a few minor comments. Housekeeping was erratic. One day we were gone most of the day, and when we came back at 4 pm, we had to ask to have our room made up. Another day they started knocking on our door for service at 8 am, ( the day we were checking out,) and knocked 2 more times before 10 am.
One big complaint is the rooftop pool. It is a really cool bar and restaurant with GREAT service. However, they sell day passes to people not staying at the hotel, so there was no room or open chairs for us to enjoy the pool. Sucks for guests.

View from our room was great. food trucks next door was really neat. We could walk from the hotel to great restaurants and clubs. Food in the hotel restaurant was very good.
The only negative is that we were hoping for courtesy coffee service in the lobby, but they did'nt offer that.

Carlos, was very prompt, efficient safety conscious & friendly/courteous. I was already irritated by the street blockades & heavy traffic. Upon arriving in the valet designated line, I waited for 15 minutes on the car in front of me waiting to be moved by Jake. Jake tapped on the window and instead of saying, “welcome to the Westin, how can I help you, Jake asks me if I’m waiting for my car to be valet. If not for wonderful way Carlos greeted us, it would have a bad waiting in valet even worse.

Loved the location, block from the 6th , very short walk to many restaurants and bars. East to stop for pickup on the street. Overall quiet and clean. Except couple strange noises in the morning. Definitely will consider staying again.

We had a very lack luster stay, I’m not the kind to usually comment. It just did not feel the level of clean I’m used to. It had stains on the sheets, the mattress was in gross condition. Shower didn’t feel clean. Toilet paper was bad quality. We had problems with the toilet the whole time and it took forever to get a plunger. Called 3 times and waited hours. It just felt cheap for a Westin. We didn’t make a stink we were only there for 3 nights. But it wasn’t that great, sorry Westin.

Not get a room higher than 8th floor even though they go up to 20th floor, they clearly tell you that oh you are a third party booker. The rooms are mediocre might as well stay at a holiday inn: parking is $60.62 cents, nothing is free. My room was extremely disappointing and the view since I payed for a room with a view left me embarrassed with my guest, even though I paid over $368 a night. Embarrassing
