There are some good things, and several to improve;
Gym: Very small, and hot. Limited options
Front desk area: Small but people were very friendly
Security: Without having a card key, you can get to any floor (noone checks if you are hotel guest or not). You need cardkey only after 11:00pm to enter to the hotel
Room: Big enough for 3 people. No wardrobe. Enough space to lay down 3 luggages (we booked 2 Queen bed room)
Bed: Bed comfort was not good. Mattress was worn out. My wife had backpain
Restroom: Cleaning was not good. I found hair on the towel right after the cleaning.
There is no counter space to keep tootpaste and toothbrushes.
Shower area: this is the best one.
Parking: Street parking is available but it is very hard to find. Otherwise there is hefty parking fee ($50 per night)
Internet: they charge $28 per day facility fee, but internet is really bad.
Close to the beach though.
Overall, property is not very close Oceandrive, you need to take an uber ride (roughly $10).

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Maid service was among the best I've ever seen on vacation. Everything was in walking distance which was perfect for us. Miami is an expensive place to visit but this was among the lowest priced hotels in the area. I highly recommend it.

I looked for a Marriot and found this to be a nice, convenient hotel, one block from the beach. The most important thing I was looking for was cleanliness, quiet, easy parking and some amenities. The staff was excellent, attending any questions and making sure to communicate well. They were all friendly, which goes a long way. Severando the valet, the dining and front desk staff were so lovely. Also, the Cuban restaurant down the street was great. Thank you again!

Had a mini girls trip during the week & we enjoyed our stay. Devante checked us in & out. He always had a smile and kept us laughing. We didn't have enough time to check out the bar & rooftop, but had a great time here. The rooms are very clean & we felt safe. Loved that it was right next to the beach. I will definitely come back!

AC Marriott Hotel in Miami Beach
Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and helpful!! Our room was small with a limited ocean view, but very clean. The TV reception stopped soon after the storm on Tuesday evening. Since we’re not big TV persons, it wasn’t a real issue. But we would like to have been able to watch the Phillies/ Marlins baseball game Tuesday evening. However, even if the TV did work, we didn’t see any channels that would have broadcast the game anyway. So that was a bit disappointing. We traveled to Miami to see the Monday and Wednesday games at Loan Depot park. We also wanted to visit Miami Beach, so this was a perfect hotel! Thank you!

The housekeeper lady made a big stink to her supervisor about getting another two towels for our room. She made a big deal about it in Spanish thinking I didn’t understand but I speak Spanish fluently. Not very professional of her to do that informing of the customer. The supervisor handled it exceptionally well.

There was mold on the balcony where I stayed for 3 nights and 2 days. I paid a lot of money to stay at this resort for my birthday weekend and it was a terrible waste of time and a wasted money. I would never come back to this location. I will never refer my friends to stay at this location and I will definitely never spend any money at any Marriott location for any of my future trips.

I’ve stayed at AC Miami Beach before and did not share the same experience from this recent stay. The linens on the bed were stained and dingy in appearance. I asked to have the changed however the guest service rep never followed through which left me going down at 10pm to request the linen be changed. It was taken care of however the staff dropped the ball several times. The manager was extremely apologetic and made sure the matter was rectified.

Upon check in, I was informed there would be a $25/day charge for extras that entitled me to 2 bottles of water, faster internet, bike rentals, and permission to sit on the AC beach chairs. That mandatory extra charge was not mentioned in advance, and the only amenity I used was the internet access.
I stayed at the AC Hotel Miami Beach for work sessions using their conference room. The room was right next to a high traffic area and was frequently quite noisy as there was no sound insulation. Do not use this facility for a meeting space. It's not built for it.
The rooms were adequate. My beach view room was made less spectacular by the dirty streaks on my windows, but I could indeed see the ocean. The floors were bare with no rugs, and the laminate flooring was marred and loose in spots.
Saving graces: walking distance to a number of restaurants/bars; fairly direct beach access (across the street, past other properties); mostly friendly staff.
Hard passes: breakfast - just walk out the door and grab something at Shepherd or Crema instead; meeting facilities - no privacy and meeting spaces are too close to the lobby.

This property is a hidden gem. I thought it was above average for a Marriott property. Clearly it was a business hotel. This was nice because you can easily walk to the more party area of Miami Beach, but escape to a quiet hotel. I had breakfast included in my stay, but if you have to pay the additional fee for the breakfast buffet skip it. They served this egg dish that we both got. The eggs in it were raw... It was like they baked it in an oven, but not long enough to cook all the egg whites. The beach area was nice, since they have a rental agreement with a company that provides chairs and umbrellas. They do kind of trick you though. The (2) beach chairs are included in your resort fee, but the umbrella is an additional $25. It would be nice if the resort fee included everything, and it would feel more all inclusive.

The cost of the hotel should include the amenties of the pool. I didn't like how the their were 3 different prices for valet between expedia, the website and onsite. I also didn't like how we were taxed for valet. When I made my reservation I put that I did not want housekeeping during my stay and that was not honored. The floor was very dirty I had to call after I arrived to get it remopped. I would NOT book here again.

The rooms are nice and clean, and look modern.
As for the hotel, the lobby is almost non existen, and there is no staff there, you have to look for them.
The area of the hotel is not good, there is alot of construction, awful looking buildings, and some homeless people around.
Furthermore, there is really NO ocean view from this hotel. This hotel is facing another big hotel and if you try and squint, you might see some ocean into the far far distance.
I am sorry, but be warned, this is not a 4 Star hotel, rather a 2 or maybe 3 stars at most.

Place was beautiful. You can clearly see the beach and the access is easy, is a 2 min walk. My only gripe is the cost of the extra stuff. Parking isn't included and its $40-$50 a day plus tip. You are also charged $25 a day for resort amenities fee which includes water, beach access/chairs/towels/, and a free bike rental. But the damn umbrella was $22 bucks and you can't sit on that beach without it. The area is crazy expensive and traffic is terrible. The room was beautiful though and the facility was well maintained. Pool table and bar area was fun. Starbucks is attached to the building too. Rooftop was beautiful. Kinda small, but great view. Good spot to hang out, have a drink and read.

I had a great time at the AC Marriott hotel. My hotel room was amazing, especially the view. I loved the amenities that they offer including the rooftop which had such an amazing view and the outdoor game area on the third floor so dope. Decent room but terrible balcony views
Hotel was decent, but not located in a good part of town. We paid extra to have a balcony but we were put on the side facing a run down abandoned building so it was not worth the price at all. Overnight valet parking was $42 a night, but luckily we found that you can leave your car on the street or a nearby parking lot provided you keep up with the meter fees.
The room was nicely decorated with solid high speed internet. Front desk was sometimes difficult to reach but they addressed any issues we had promptly.
We wouldn't stay here again because of the poor views and location didn't feel very safe. For the price we paid, we probably could've gotten a better deal somewhere else.

There was an extra fee at checkout for $287 (parking etc..) on top of the $1100 charged for a room for 4 days. The room I booked was for an ocean view. There was no visible view of the ocean. Very deceptive!

I was disappointed with my stay. The hotel appeared to be under staffed resulting in long lines at the front desk. There was a ton of very loud construction happening next door so we could not enjoy our balcony. There was no free coffee in the morning as there usually is at hotels. The location is good and close to the beach but the hotel itself was lacking.

The room we stayed (725) had no Wardrobe, not a single drawer, only few hangers, and we had to keep most of our cloths in the suitcase. Long waits for the hot water to come in the shower, very limited breakfast.

We had a great stay at AC hotel ! Our hotel room was nice however it took a long time for hot water in our shower and there was no access for a small vanity mirror, make up application was quite difficult. The roof top pool was beautiful, we only visited it one day. We indeed had an ocean view, the balcony on our room was huge, we had an awesome people watching experience! Walking to the beach was not a hassle at all! The hotel also has access to bikes ( included in the 25 dollar a day resort fee) All of the staff was wonderful and prompt when handling complaints! I would recommend this hotel!

The hotel was beautiful in a great location. We were really surprised by a cool bonus play area with bean bag toss and a huge chess set right outside our room. The heated rooftop pool was fun for the kids even on a windy November day.

The rooms are fairly clean. However, invoking to the COVID, there is no service done unless you go down at the front desk and request for it. No water re-supply, or towels or coffee. Good thing that the ladies that do room services in the hotel will give you water or coffee if you ask.
The front-desk staff with some exceptions is very friendly and helpful.

This place is only good for the person who "JUST ONLY" need a place to sleep other than that there's nothmuch good about it the room is very small the balcony room are facing an old abandoned building and some rooms have a terrace shared by others and will give it to you if you book a balcony and all the other balcony rooms are taken also its not on the beach AT ALL you must walk through another hotelz property to see the beach there are no places to eat or get drinks nearby Nd it isn't really close to the action you'd expect in Miami it took my lyft over 20 minutes to reach south beach bottom line dont stay here if you're looking for more than a place to sleep

The hotel was nice and clean, but there weren't many dining options. The hotel has a bar/restaurant, but the kitchen is not on site, and there aren't a lot of places within walking distance. Shopping is also further out and not within walking distance. The beach is across the street with easy access, though! Quiet area

An excellent hotel. The room has excellent noiseless AC. Very quite in the rooms, you can relax in full. Only two minutes by walk to the beach with couches (included, but you need to pay $22 for umbrella if you need). There is the pool with beverages on top of the building. Variety of restaurants in walking distance. Plenty of entertainment around, including excursions, botanical gardens, sideway along the beach. Parking in the hotel for $42 per day.

Great stay at the AC Marriott Miami Beach. The rooms were spacious and clean and provided us a cool place to stay during a hot week in Miami.
Currently (for suites at least) they are not doing daily housekeeping unless requested.
Beautiful beach views from the suite but no beach chairs available (even to rent). Amazing rooftop pool included with amenity fee

High price, new but better choices
New construction, clean, efficient, lots of road work nearby so be prepared for traffic congestion. Door to bathroom is frosted-glass sliding, so, privacy is compromised. And, you're on Miami Beach (although not beachfront) so price is on the high side. For the money, there are better alternatives.

Overall a fine hotel. It was a little annoying that I had to request amenities every day - like coffee, shampoo, etc. The hotel staff seemed annoyed, but I stayed for five days so of course I’m going to need more than one bottle of lotion/ cup of coffee lol. Not to mention they charge $25 a day for these amenities so it would have been nice if they just planned to give each guest a more appropriate supply. I did love the staff at the pool and beach who were extra helpful and kind. There was a bit of partying on our floor so it was loud at night with people and nearby construction. I enjoyed my stay but would probably not stay here again. :)

The receptionist were rude and inexperienced. We paid for an ocean view room and the room they gave us was looking over a building. I had to come down and argue to get what I paid for. They were rude again but they changed the room but I would not call it ocean view room.
We on several occasions asked for towels and bedsheets and Coffee. They say they will bring it up but they never did. We had to go down to the lobby to pick up these things ourselves.
The room itself was not clean the floors had black and dark spots. The hot water would not run in the morning they run out of hot water I guess. On top locations I wife and I had to take cold showers.
Bottom line this is the worst hotel we stayed in in many many years. I wish hotel.com will take it off their list.
