Close proximity to beach and boardwalk. One elevator not working, which greatly slowed down ability to get to room. Rooms are very small.

Basic Ok. 2 Blocks from Beach
Just an older hotel. No amenities, no driveway, no parking, no pool. Staff were super pleasant. Bell staff helpful. Beach walk and free trolley were a plus.

This property was marginal at best. The carpets and rooms smelled musty. Glass in window was cracked. Amenities were unavailable. Tremendous difficulty with keys functioning properly. Rate was purchased with breakfast but not recognized at check in. And then breakfast was scarce in offerings and had long waits for anything ordered and there were only a VERY small selection of snacks available for purchase. No perks at all. The wifi was not working well either. The area of the hotel is poor and surrounded by construction. Close restaurants near by were few and far between. Limited if any shopping options. The valet parking was convenient and nicely handled and it is a very close walk to the beach and the hotel did supply beach towels.

for a more comfortable stay at your hotel you need to have parking for your guest and you need to have more informative front desk staff, our stay was a disaster we ended up with a towed car and a couple of parking tickets.

Staff were friendly and helpful, giving me an early check-in when inquiring as to whether they could hold my bag as I caught an earlier flight. Always greeted and said hello etc. when passing through. Hotel is a nice distance along the beach and paved route down to ocean drive to start the day.

I believe the property had bedbugs. The air conditioning did not work very well. And couldn’t get any hot water.

The rooms were well maintained, clean and practical. The area was ideal, and the beach was less than 5 minute away. Staff was pleasant. Great option for the price.

Disappointing
We were disappointed with our stay. The price paid for our room made us feel somewhat fleeced considering the hotel itself which was not up to our expectations of a Hilton property. I would not come back for a repeat visit.

Ok but wouldn't stay again
Refreshing water at check in. Front desk ladies nice. Sheets sticky and hair on them. Fire alarm sounding every 5 minutes for hours this morning. Breakfast looked like a potluck and was $20 (not worth it). Price semi reasonable.

The rm had a strange odor, it wasn't strong but I noticed it whenever I entered the rm.
There are certain items you expect when staying at a hotel such as body lotion, face soap, etc. Though, the rm had body gel, shampoo and conditioner- it was located in the shower so any person assigned the rm had access to use. I feel these items are personal, not community use.

When we arrived the shower was full of hair. The A/C was making a noise coming out of the filter housing and was never fixed. The costumer service reps were excellent.

First and foremost when you mention Hilton you think of one of the best, however this location was the worst Hilton I’ve stayed in. While booking my weekend stay it was a few factors I wanted; on site parking and or valet. They advertise they have valet but what they have is off site parking at another hotel. The handicap door (button) doesn’t work, The establishment smells like mold, The ice machine doesn’t work they have a breakfast for $16.99 that only has eggs, dry potatoes, sausage, bacon, dry cereal and fruit. The food wasn’t hot the seating area isn’t clean. The room wall paper was coming off with visible mold the shower doesn’t get all the way hot and it makes a terrible sound when you turn the water on. The Hilton manual looked like someone used it for scrap paper. Over all this location doesn’t match Hilton quality. The house keeper and overnight staff was nice but that’s all I can say. This experience was such a let down for my husband’s birthday get away. I was I’ll never book this location again.

Absolutely No Complaints
My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 4 nights on our way back home after a long trip. From check in straight through to check out the staff were amazing. They were friendly,accommodating and very helpful. Jorge at front desk was lovely. As a matter of fact,all front desk staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and tidy. For the price point of this hotel,I enjoyed my stay. If you are looking for all the bells and whistles this is not for you but if you are looking for a budget friendly place,that is clean,with friendly and courteous staff in a quiet and still central location;this is the place for you. I got some much needed rest and relaxation here after my long trip. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn Team.

The hotel experience was overall a positive experience but the hotel lacked amenities. There was no laundry facility, no pool, no breakfast or restaurant the main selling point was that it is conveniently close to the beach.

The hotel left a lot to be desired. Advertised valet parking which ended up being a walk to another hotel for valet parking which cost 45.00 per night. Advertised dinner, there wasn’t any. Breakfast was cold and in the basement. Toilet Handel was falling off, things were old and tired. Staff not very friendly or helpful.

When we checked in it took us about 45 minutes,there were a group that didn't have a reservation and looking for a place to stay. So I waited for the clerk to finish with them.
When it was my time I was told that I was not in the system and I had to provide the clerk with my information were given keys to room 401 great looks like we're on our way when we entered the room it smelled of smoke my wife called to voice her concerns only to be told that the Night Manager was not in the building and we had to wait the bottom line is we waited nearly 4 hours before they moved us to another room, we decided to eat breakfast Saturday morning and we're charged, for $40.00 for cold food to the carpet look like no one take care of it I have already planned another weekend but I will stay at the Seville Hotel , I am sure that my comment will fall on death ear. It's ok I need to know that my dollar's matters so I will stay where I'm appreciated

Hilton Garden Inn Miami South Beach is a lovely, warm, cosy, and a welcoming hotel that I would highly recommend to everyone. I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, and absolutely loved every day of my stay. The entire staff is very courteous, welcoming, warm, helpful, patient, and supportive. A big thanks to Caroline and Adan for all their help on checking me in, and all their support to answer my questions on the places to see around, and my queries related to transit, restaurants, and all the amenities in general. A big thanks to the entire Housekeeping Staff who really took care of the room cleanliness and upkeep. I sincerely thank you Caroline and the rest of the team at Hilton Garden Inn South Beach for making my stay very comfortable and convenient. I will be definitely be staying at this hotel again during my next time in South Beach, Miami as well.

We enjoyed their happy hour. The bar tenders that night of April 13, 2023 were great. The food that’s ere suggested to us by the bar tender were delish! We appreciate that the staff were very accommodating.
