What i like: consistent Marriott standards of quality
What i did not like: the $40 parking fee for on site parking. The level 2 charger for EV is nice, but there is only one!!!!

Nice Hotel in Nice Location
Great hotel in a great location! 5 minute walk to the Green Line. Several restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend Sweet Touch Cafe for breakfast. The hotel is easy to get to, very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing! The only negative is that the Green Line is right next to the hotel, so you will hear the trains loud and clear. We bought earplugs for sleep and all was okay. It would be nice if the hotel listed on its website, it's proximity to the Green Line and that you will hear the trains. Additionally, the hotel should let their customers know ahead of time if their booked room is on the same side of the hotel that the Green Line is located. Other than the loud trains going by, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Will definitely stay here again!

For Boston, the property was reasonably priced. The decor was really nice and the environment was also really nice. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly. It was conveniently located. Parking was good. The only complaint I had was that the beds were very uncomfortable and I wished I would’ve brought my own pillow. That along with the sound of the train made for a very difficult night of sleep.

Close to Charles Playhouse in Boston...
We decided to see the Blue Men Group in Boston, and wanted to be close but in a comfortable area. From check in to check out, the customer services was superb. Easy, fast and without wait.The team working during the weekend made us feel welcome and were very knowledgeable of the area. Great location safe and accessible to transportation and the nearby venues. We will be back.

I did not like that. In addition to our room price there was a $40 parking fee. Isn’t parking normally included in all hotels stays? And, There was no room in the parking lot, so we had to park in an adjacent lot with horrible lighting. In the event you are forced to park in this said lot, ask for an escort.

The room was not cleaned once during our 3 night stay. We were told it would be cleaned every two days. They had no towels and they could not give us towels because we arrived back late. Pails were filled. Very disappointing

The staff was very nice.
The room lacked space (closet walls, about 9 inches wide and had a ironing board in it), no, UBS outlets to charge the phone/iPad/etc.

Fantastic place to stay
Great place to stay, they had a parking lot so we could leave the car and Uber around the city. Very clean and everyone was pleasant that we spoke to. Will stay there again.

Great Location
The hotel is in a great location in Central Cambridge and is easy to get around Boston, less then two block from the Lechmere Station. The customer service was great and was able to check in early. They have white noise machines in the room. Included breakfast was very satisfying and provided lots of quality options: fruits, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, sausages, bagel bites, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Walgreen, Dollar Tree, and Star Market about three blocks away.

When I arrived the room was prepaid for but Fairfield said they had to hold $60 for incidentals. I get a message from my bank I have 3 charges from Fairfield. 1 charge of $60 and 2 charges for $225.00. I asked to have charges released because they charged me twice. They only released a hold on one of charges for $225.00. It’s just inconvenient while traveling and room was prepaid for and I’m getting hit with an additional $285.00 for one night.

Very bad experience
Upon arrival, there was no place to park. parking lot was under construction with no prior notification to us. We had to park 4 blocks down the street which was terrible. We are senior citizens and this made things VERY difficult for us. Secondly, the 1st room we went into had the MBTA trains going by right outside our window. It was very loud and extremely annoying. We moved our room to the opposite side of the hotel. Nothing about this was mentioned in the hotel write up, which was shocking. I would not recommend this hotel and place to ask for a refund

Our stay was just ok although the hotel seems updated it was disappointing. Our room was right on train tracks we didn’t know this when booking. Beds were uncomfortable, food was very basic, paper plates plastic forks! Front desk staff were not overly friendly checking in kinda had an attitude. Parking was tight we could barely get in car after parked. Noisy room depressing view. We were not happy after paying over $700 for 2 nights. Definitely better hotels in Boston. We will not return or recommend.

It seems the property is insufficiently staffed. There was no bartender available, the staff working the front desk had to leave their post to open the bar and sell refreshments.

Was a great location to take the Boston T for Fenway Park and other destinations. Checked in was a breeze, especially nice after an 8 hour drive. Our room was on the road side so was pretty quiet at night. Back side of hotel has the subway tracks but another couple that stayed with us said it wasn't a problem. Everyone loved the breakfast, all pre packaged though but that's every hotel now. Only negative would be the $40 dollars per night to park. We would stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and felt quite modern, although my room was just big enough for the 2 queen beds and not much else. The breakfast bar was one of the better ones I've had. There were not a ton of dining options nearby, but I did happen across a couple nice restaurants on the last night of my stay.

The staff was excellent and the room was clean, which are my top two priorities! The parking was $40 a day, which is a bit crazy cconsidering how crammed in we were and that the hotel next door offers it for free. The area is not the best, but the hotel was super nice.

Nice and Affordable
This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. Affordable and conveniently located. Quick walk to the T. Nice and professional staff. Very clean and comfortable. The only negative is that there was a barking dog across the hall from us. Although I am an animal lover, I recommend that guests be notified that there is a dog nearby, and the hotel should offer another room if the guests don't want to chance listening to a barking dog during their stay.

The shower water temp was tepid AT BEST. It is one of the more complicated showers to operate with poor lighting in the bathroom. It takes about 10 minutes for the water to get warm; what a waste and not eco-friendly at all. The staff, Gabrielle and Jean specifically, were professional, courteous, helpful and pleasant. I can't say enough good things about them.

Handicap room we were in the bathroom was not to our liking. If one person is taking a shower the other cannot brush their teeth because the floor is wet due to not having barrier in the shower. This was inconvenient and not comfortable

Terrible Checkout
Got 3 security deposits taken out during my 1 night stay, not including parking. twice during checkout. Manager did not seem inclined to help. Kept saying the issue wasn’t popping up on the computer screen. I asked multiple times what we could do to solve the issue. No solution was told. I told her I would call the supervisor when there in on Tuesday 2/21. Because I was overcharged I have overdraft fees that cost more than the stay at the hotel itself cost. After I finished checking out, another group of people who stayed told me all morning people have been overcharged. Which is confusing because the manager acted like nothing was wrong or going on. Hotel was clean and service was good until check our. Woman who worked the front desk was nice, but the manager did nothing of the manager sort. Told me her “computer says I haven’t been charged.” I showed her that $20 was taken out when I showed up. At midnight the hotel emailed me saying $20 got taken out again. And then when I checked out $16.71 came out. They told me I wasn’t being charged they were security deposits. Either way I told them I’m getting hit with multiple deposits when I should only have 1 $20 deposit! So now $140 later of overdraft happened with my bank because 4 separate unnecessary transactions happened with this hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great if you need to get to the TD Garden for an event. It's just two stops away on the train.
The bar did not have a bartender, so it wasn't open.

Went for a concert & overnight stay was great. The room was comfortable and parking is $40 for each night you stay. Breakfast was good as well, included in your stay. Check-out was very easy. I would recommend if you’re doing a short stay in Boston.

Common room was nice. Room had leftover toothpaste from the previous person and a aerosol bottle of hair product from the previous person. The tv didnt work and the fridge was warm and needed to be replaced.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The only negative aspect of this property is the "soundproof" claim - we could clearly hear washing and drying machines operating throughout the day. Additionally, it was very easy to hear others walking around the floor and doors opening/closing.

This was a very nice stay for us. We had easy access to local transportation. The rooms were nicely appointed and had wonderful showers!! Breakfast was plentiful and the morning workers were very friendly and helpful. Some of the front desk workers were more helpful than others. Our biggest complaint was the walls are made of paper!!!! I'm sure our neighbors would not be happy knowing we heard ALL of their "escapade" in the middle of the night. (No issues the first night)

Comfortable and modern hotel. Most staff very polite and friendly. We were very annoyed though to find that the T was closed when we arrived as the proximity of the station was one of the major reasons for booking here. Even more annoying, the receptionist told us it had only just closed and they hadn’t been told it would happen, when in fact it was a long term closure across the whole line. Obviously not their fault but as they specifically use this as a selling point on their website I think they should say it would be closed for this period. It caused significant inconvenience to our stay in Boston.
Also there were hairs in the bathroom and dust in the room. It clearly hadn’t been vacuumed thoroughly for a long time and was not serviced at all during our 4 night stay. Breakfast was good.

I liked that the property was located close to a lot of the places we'd wanted to visit. There was also a grocery store and pharmacy that were walking distance from the hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
