These location only delivered a $80-$100 hotelroom
Room had loose bathroom floor titles which could lead to fall. Room appears to have had bathroom flooded with water damage on the bottom of the door and loose carpeting outside the bathroom. One of the queen mattresses was past time to be replaced. It’s what I expect from hotels that charge half the cost and not a Holiday Inn Express.

Staff were friendly. The fan in the bathroom ran continuously in our room and was quite loud so the door had to be kept closed at all times. We asked if it could be addressed but was not. Otherwise stay was pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay here. Only giving it a below superior rating because it seems either the building is shifting or else all the door hinges are loose. None of our hotel room doors closed. The main door to our room was super sticky and too tight to close. We had to really push it shut or else we just left it open a smidge. And our bathroom door would not stay closed, it kept slowly flying open which led us to believe maybe the building had shifted. Probably not the case. The shower door also would not stay closed fully. Kept sliding open. Not a huge deal but thought you should know. Great breakfast and friendly staff!! The room itself was very clean!! We would stay again but ask for another room.

Door to room was sticking, needed to apply force with shoulder to even get into the room. Furniture had seen better days (drawers opened by itself). Piece of chocolate was found underneath the bed. Website promised daily housekeeping. Some housekeeping was reluctantly provided. Pool was unusable. Water was cloudy/dirty with paint flakes swimming at the surface. Stay was paid in advance, regardless my credit card (left for incidentals) was charged again for the stay. Refund was provided 6 days after the stay. Due to the currency exchange rate leaving me short by $21.35.

The guy at check in was super friendly and welcoming. A great way to start off our mini vacation! The room was a little run down in some aspects (scratches on the doors and walls) but nothing too concerning. We would definitely stay here again, the breakfast buffet and option to take food when you’re on the go was also a bonus!

Nice hotel room. The room was good but the shower floor showed a lot of wear and looked dirty. I purchased a shower mat because of that but otherwise everything was great. The breakfast was awesome and the breakfast cook has a great personality. She leaves everyone with a smile 😃

Fist time visiting. Received a room right off of the elevator which was nice. Loved the Quiet Time notice - especially if they enforce it. The room itself was spacious - really wish hotels would do a king & queen bed room option (plenty of room for that here). Door handle plate to bathroom was coming off, hair in tub (eek), quite dark when you first enter room as switch seemed to control only the light at door. Design in bathroom wasn’t thought out well - two decorative handles on front of sink area would lead you to believe there were drawers, but they are fake. They were coming off as people have pulled on them a lot. Toilet paper dispenser is under the cabinet which you can’t see so we ended up putting a role on the counter instead. Loved the dispensers for the toiletries - saves on plastic waste. Breakfast was good - the attendant was great at keeping up with demand. The pancake maker was neat even if the pancakes were a bit bland - needed vanilla or buttermilk to give more flavour. Unfortunately the juice was coloured water. The cinnamon buns were delicious!
The pool area needs to be refurbished - paint peeling around pool is being tracked by feet and there is a basketball but the net is missing (pole is there).
Beds were comfy, pillows were good.
Overall, might stay again - maybe it was just our room…

I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the pool was warm as well as the pool area being clean as well. The staff was friendly. The only complaint I have was breakfast. Orange juice was completely watered down. There was absolutely no place to throw our garbage away as they were over flowing and guests had to stack garbage on top. The pancake machine was needing a new bag and never got refilled. The milk as well never got restocked.

Ac in the unit was not working. Set it to as low as I could and room was reading at 77 and rising while thermostat was set to 65. Family also got stuck in the elevator and I did as well. Chose to leave home with room being very hot and uncomfortable. Still got charged 100 bucks. Room was clean though.

But the worst part was we couldn’t sleep! The air conditioning wouldn’t work, 77degrees in our room the whole time!! Mind you in was Dec. we shouldn’t have even needed air conditioning..

Great place to stay with young kids. They even provide life jackets, which I’ve hardly ever seen at hotels. Not the newest hotel in the area, but it was very well kept and staff was great. Will definitely stay again.

Don’t trust the house keeping. We left three bags of newly purchased items. We accidentally left them behind. We called to say we were returning to pick them up. Housekeeping said the only thing left was diapers. Upset that over $200 of items magically disappeared. I’m not one who complains or leaves bad reviews. But this is very upsetting. And there’s nothing they could do about it.

Kiddie pool was closed, which was the only reason we booked there and not a word was said until i asked about the pool and it's been closed awhile. All vents were caked in dust (absolutely disgusting). Bathrooms door stuck, extremely hard to open and close, handle falling off. Front desk person hung out with friends in the lobby Sunday night. The hot tub was scorching (i like it hotter than most but you couldn't even step in). Pool pain is all chipping off and floating in the pool. Breakfast was ok.

The bathroom had long black hair in the shower, sink and on the floor. The tissue holder had thick dust, carpeting had lint all over, bedding smelled like old cheap perfume and there was old food in the refrigerator from previous guests so obviously it hadn’t been cleaned.

Worst kept H.I.E I've ever seen.
Main issue is rooms were warm due to both a broken chiller which, according to staff, has been broken for a while and they just keep band-aiding it. Additionally, I found almost no air coming from the HVAC unit in both our rooms (yes, rooms as in plural; they moved us after the first night due to the cooling issues). The reason for no air movement was an absolutely plugged air filter. Clearly, there was not any preventive maintenance done anytime in the last year, possibly more. The building is also obviously of poor/cheap construction, as we were able to clearly hear every footstep of the person above us as they walked around. They were obviously not being rowdy or acting inappropriately; they were just walking around normal. It was also nice to see the breakfast lady sitting down playing on her phone while there were food items that had run out and multiple dirty tables from people who had left. I stay at holiday in expresses all the time. This is by far the worst kept H.I.E. I have ever stayed at and is now officially on our company's blacklist.
I will note that the employee who tried to help us with the HVAC issues was extremely friendly and helped to the best of his ability. I believe that the predominant issue ultimately points back to the management and/or franchise owners either poor choices or lack of leadership.

Could Use Some Work
The stay was ok.. they definitely need to up their cleaning. Small hairs in shower, crumbs on carpet, dirty comforter. The receptionist was NOT friendly. Definitely not worth $200 for One night.

the hotel was very nice. the gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. i just wouldn’t stay again when hockey is going on in the town. they are rude and noisy people and don’t care that they keep you up all night while their kids run up and down the halls yelling and hitting doors until 1am. otherwise like the hotel

Great family swimming pool! My family had a great time with the little ones using the slide in the kids pool. The adult kids had a great time in the large pool playing basketball. The hot tub was the perfect temperature as grandma and the little one sat in the just right temperature.

Great place to stay! Our whole family loved the pool and the hours it was open. A little disappointed that one of the kiddy toys in the pool wasn’t working but we still had fun. Excellent breakfast! Beds were very comfortable. Also very pleased that they had baby cribs available. So convenient!

Everything about this stay was good except the air conditioning the hotel was not working very well. We couldn't get our room to below a temp of 70 degrees and I spoke with others that could not get their temp below 80 degrees.

Very convenient to West Acres, yet away from main thoroughfares so very little noise in room. While not fancy the breakfast provided with the room covered all the basic items you would expect. Really didn't find anything we didn't like about our stay.

When we showed up and checked in we were told the kiddie pool was out of service and has been for months. We had called before booking to ask if the pools were open and were told yes. When we checked in the employee at the desk told us “that is why you shouldn’t book through a third party” and should book directly so you can know about pool closures. THAT’S WHY WE CALLED BEFORE TO ASK ABOUT THE POOLS. The whole reason for our stay was for our kids to swim.

They over booked, I wasn’t able to check in until after 6:00 pm. I had called before booking the room to confirm the pool was fully functional with no restrictions. The staff member I spoke to assured me it was fully open. After check in I was informed the kid pool was closed for maintenance. The pool was the only reason I booked a room there.

We got there at 6 pm and were not able to check in due to the rooms not done being cleaned. We were finally able to check in at 730 pm. The poor guy at check in was overwhelmed and no help in site. That being said the hotel was clean,nice and the overwhelmed guy at counter did it ll with a smile

Was told at check in that they were short staffed and over booked. Bedding was very wrinkled, i was worried it had not been changed. Toiletries in shower were empty.
Could not use the pool area until after 9 pm as there were several kids birthday parties and was over crowded. Drunk group falling onto floor and dropping glass beer bottles into hot tub. Hallways were really loud untill 2am. Not a good experience.

The only issue we had was the elevator, it stopped with my two daughters in it and a older guy, they got scared and didn’t know what to do, the guy called someone.
