Comfortable beds, plenty very wonderful pillows, many outlets and phone charging areas on both sides of the bed too! Breakfast very good. Not huge but tasty and enough. All staff made you feel as if you were welcomed!! A very good experience and my best one with Holiday Inn Express.

Breakfast had a good selection. The hotel was clean and the room was big. Our hotel lost hot water though and after attending a wedding taking a shower was a must but it would’ve been ice cold still cold in the morning too and we had a flight out. Buying tickets through a third party resulted in them saying there’s nothing we can do for you. That made my ratings for them drop. The customer service rep January was frustrated and overwhelmed and definitely not fit to handle a situation like this.

The shower never got hot, only luke warm at best. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper, no tissues in the tissue box and the toilet paper holder was falling off, dropping the toilet paper on the floor. The breakfast was good but out of orange juice, which is what I wanted. Fairly disappointed

EVERY part of my stay at the Edwardsville H.I.Express was great. The place was as clean as a hospital, staff was great, breakfast FAR exceeded expectations. and the area/building was secure and quiet. Cudos to this unit...they've got it going. Fam wedding was perfect partly because of this H.I. Express.

Family Funeral Trip
Our family had four rooms this trip, and we were able to be on the same floor. Nice rooms with coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves. The grandkids loved the gym and the breakfast pancake machine. Great location, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself fit our expectations - decent bed, clean bathroom, friendly staff. Unfortunately, other guests kept us up throughout the night. I don’t mind paying the extra money to know fellow guests are respectable people. Thus I’m uncertain if we’ll be returning.

My stay was very quiet, very comfy bed. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The only thing is that breakfast could be a better variety. It was good food but limited options with someone with dietary restrictions.

We have stayed here three times. It's clean and quiet and has great breakfast. My only suggestion is getting new mattresses. None of us slept well because the mattresses were so worn out.

Overall, everything was great. The pool was down for most of the first day of our stay, but opened up the next day. Also, it was a busy weekend, but during breakfast things were gone very quickly and even after being replenished, quickly gone again.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Room/hotel was hot. Thermostat said 60 degrees in room and we were sweating. Very hard to sleep. Bathroom had missing drywall by tub and was molded.

Nice but no hot water!
This is a really lovely hotel. Seems quite new, and very comfortable and the breakfast was great. Only one negative, the hot water was lukewarm at best, and we heard other guests at breakfast complaining of no hot water.

The only issue was that the accessible shower had a curved curtain rod instead of straight. This allowed the water to escape the shower stall and drain into the main bathroom area making it treacherous.

Registration required a credit card and $25 dollar hold even though the room was paid for. This was not disclosed prior. They gave no receipt for the hold. Now, 48 hours after leaving, the hold is still pending.

I enjoyed my stay at the Edwardsville Holiday Inn, the evening staff and morning staff were friendly and eager to help. The facility was clean and easy to access. we did use the pool , which was nice, clean but I felt something loose with my feet (seemed like plaster or whatever they put at the bottom of the pool) . The breakfast was good, a nice variety of food, it was hot/cold and the ciniminon rolls were very good! good coffee too! I cannot think of anything I was displeased with, and I will certainly report it of I did find something.

a Bit disappointed
I stay here a couple times a year. This time I was a bit disappointed. I was given a handicap room that had a hand held shower head that would not stay put so it was difficult to shower and because of the shower head not staying put it seemed to have leaked outside of the shower and created mold. The room needs to be fixed.

Y'all were amazing!
Absolutely amazing people! They were short handed on house keepers and our room wasn't ready yet but got us switched around and in a room in no time! I applaud the staff because there were some not so nice or understanding people but hince the manager was up on the floors cleaning rooms themselves! Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway with our tribe!

When we arrived to the property at 10:15pm we were told that our room was not ready yet and still being cleaned. When asked to speak to a manager, the front desk associate stood up and said "I'm the manager, I've got my second wind now, let's go." We waited approximately an hour for our room to be ready. Highly disappointed with the price we ended up paying for less than 8 hours on property. Probably will never return to this location.

We were in town for a family funeral. However, the stay at the hotel made the visit very enjoyable despite the reason for being there. My group had a total of 4 rooms. The rooms & service were great. The breakfast was enjoyable as well as the pool for the grandkids. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was loud, dark, and dingy. There were sections of the wall crumbling near the shower. The carpet was old and dirty. At best, slightly below average stay. This hotel needs remodeled. It definitely did not reflect the price of the room $160.

Loved the staff and breakfast options were great. The Housekeeping staff took pride in there work and were just as friendly as the Front Desk Staff. It's refreshing to be around a group of people that have a common goal of hard work and dedication. Especially in these days of uncertainty with all the ugliness in the world today. People just dont want to work and be friendly anymore. Not at this location. Couldn't be anymore impressed. Keep up the great work and smiles!!!

I would like to suggest and recommend that the morning supervisory team, refrain from continuously changing the television in the lounge/breakfast area to FoxNews when the customers continue to change the channel to ESPN or other channels. This occurred each and every morning of my 5 day stay.

Checking in and checking out was easy. The reception desk staff was great.
The woman working the breakfast buffet was indifferent and seemed to be having a bad day.
The food at the breakfast buffet was poor to average. Compared to our stay at a Fairfield Inn last week, our stay at the Faifield Inn was a better value and a better experience.
