Awesome stay
Stayed four days and honestly for the price you pay it’s WELL worth it for a nice stay right near Branson downtown. We travel all over the u it’s states etc and this is probably the best hotel for the price we have been to. The clerk desk was friendly and they even offered us a discount if we came back after check out because we was great occupants. If you are into fancy five star hotels this isn’t for you. However for a family wanting a decent place to stay and enjoy your money on vacation highly recommend

Staff was very friendly & professional. Clean overall room. Bathroom could use some updating. Fan in bathroom was very squeeky. No hangers were provided. TV remote was secured together with bandaids - surely they could have at least used electrical tape.

Room cleaning was good, in fact for multiday stays in Branson it was very good (our room was cleaned, not common in our experience. The breakfast menu, while not super, was good, something again you can no longer take for granted in Branson, at the common hours of 7-9am.
What wasn't common in my experience in Branson was to encounter snippiness about these hours, and from the manager himself. Branson builds its reputation as a family-friendly venue, so complications from breakfasting within these tight hours are usually given tolerance by staff. Not this place, where I was insulted not one but both mornings over my and my small childrens lack of punctuality at breakfast. When insults reach the strong awareness level of not just myself but two small children I can confidentally say they are not incidental but deliberate and obstentatious. This is one manager who is not going to indulge lazy Americans with a free ride at his expense. Plan your stay here accordingly.

Our stay here was quite satisfactory. The toilet seat was broken when we first went in the repair was made quickly after we reported the problem. Friendly service. Breakfast was okay but not great. The facility is fairly old but reasonably well maintained. We definitely got good value for what we paid.

The one thing that sticks out is that our room did not have a shower curtain. That seems like a main requirement for normal maintenance. The facility had some dirty areas. The appearance of just years of ground in dirt was prevalent. It was just kind of gross. I don't think I would repeat a visit.

Was ok until no Hot water
Guy at the counter was super nice , let me check in an hour early , room was clean ..no complaints...EXCEPT i got up the next morning to take a shower and there was,NO HOT water..i had to leave early and the front desk wasnt open . Had to leave without a shower

Management has been rude pretty much the whole time. Then he tells my daughter they can't stay any longer. Saying cause they been there for a few days and they need to clean the room. Then she goes to get breakfast and got 2 waffles and 2 drinks and a cup of syrup and as she goes outside she drops the cup of syrup out side the door a d he comes over there and is rude about it saying sh s got enough for 4 people . And says u out today right. He's rude and won't be back. She had 2 waffles how is that enough for 4 people no bis and gravey other than 2 waffles and 2 drinks in front of everyone. If there was something they done why wasn't they informed. He was rude to me the 2nd time I went in to pay for 2 more days. Why ? No reason to be. Needless to say we won't return and others will know about it.

The hallway lights are a necessity for security. However, the use of curtains could help block out that light on the room. Replacing the pillows would definitely be an upgrade

You get what you pay for, maybe.
The hotel was worth about what we paid for it. Bathroom was run down, tub was chipped with peeling paint, shower head was about chest high in the shower and handicap bar in tub was attached with spackle and loose and un-usable. Breakfast was available but food was cold and choices were few. Desk manager sat in a chair watching every one eat but never offered help when we needed milk for cereal and such. floor in bathroom was covered in filth after housekeeping service.

The floors were dirty. After a shower and walking across the floor, our feet were black and had to be washed again before putting shoes on. What appeared to be mold was on pillow and bedskirt. The breakfast was bland and cold.

Rooms were fairly clean. Toilets leaked bad. Shower heads leaked. TV volume in one of the rooms didn't work. Asked someone to address the issue and they got mad. Refused to change out the TV. Kids wanted to play in the pool, they said they had just added chemicals. However, it didn't smell like chemicals had been added. My family will not be returning to this place...we will choose some where else to stay in Branson.

The parking is an absolute pain. Not having access to a pool when temps are this high is another drawback. Having to wait to check in with no one at the desk and not notice was away from desk.

Disappointment after new management
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and it was excellent! But now it's under new ownership. The staff is friendly and helpful. When we went into our room it smelled like smoke, called the front desk. They came and sprayed and said it is from their new air handler. We stayed there two nights and when we came home our clothes reeked of smoke. The smoke detector was laying on the counter. They said that they were getting a new alarm system for that room the next day and if they put batteries in it, it would just beep. Nobody came the next day, so we went 2 nights with no smoke detector. The spindle was gone from the toilet paper holder. There were footprints on the bedspread. They used to have cookies and popcorn available in the evening, but said it's too hot to do that in the summer now. Will not stay there again.

I’m gone!
The lady was very nice however the bathroom door wouldn’t close without my getting a screwdriver and repairing it. The bathroom flooring and caulking was very bad (nasty) all flooring was very dirty and the refrigerator was leaking. The lady at the desk was very nice. The ice machine was broken but the nice lady gave us some ice upon request.

Owner is very impressionable! Breakfast was a JOKE! The first morning was only cold cereal. The second morning was week old biscuits, and cold cereal! Room was very dirty. We had to wash our feet after the shower just to put socks on. I would not stay here again even if it was free!!!

This is the worst place in Branson to stay. Room smelled like mold, no hot water, giant hole in shower. Thought people upstairs were gonna come through the ceiling. Stains and hair on the sheets and covers. Felt very unsafe. Desk man/owner very rude when we felt we needed to find other accommodations. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed our stay
Friendly, helpful staff. Room was very clean & smelled great each evening when we returned. Bathroom is extremely small & no vent so it quickly gets warm. Bed was comfortable. No frills, clearly an older hotel with cosmetic issues, & definitely needs some landscaping appeal, but we'd stay again because it's clean, beds were comfy, & it's in a quiet area away from noisy Branson strip. Pillows were very thin--glad we brought ours from home. Enjoyed the nice clean pool. Breakfast waffles are good. Cereal choices are fine. Not impressed with scrambled eggs--no taste. Biscuits & gravy not so great either--hard biscuits & no taste gravy.

My family rented two rooms right next to each other 117&118, for two night, first of all the pool pump wasn’t on and the water was not clean, we had a total of 4 adults and 3 kids and my mother and I went to the front desk out second night there to get more towels and the owner would only give us ONE towel for 7 people! Then my mom wanted ice which you also have to go to the front desk for and he would only give her a little cup of ice. The owner is something else for sure, he acts as if you didn’t pay to stay there and have these things. Then the biggest problem of all during our stay is on our check out day we went to breakfast around 9am and check out it at 11am we came back around 10am and our hotel door was WIDE open and all of our stuff was GONE!!!! We went to the front desk and the owner had his housekeeper remove all of our belongings which were not even packed out of our hotel room so they could clean it. The housekeeper took us to the laundry room where she had thrown all our belongings into our bags and placed it for when we returned! It was such a violation of privacy and absolutely rude and terrible thing for any company to do! We have never had something let this happen before! But needless to say we will never stay at this place again and don’t recommend for anyone else to stay here either unless you want to be evicted from a hotel room you paid for early!!!

Our room was comfortable and spacious. The air conditioner worked wonderfully, and since we were there during a power outage, we were thrilled! The breakfast was hot waffles, biscuits, gravy, and scrambled eggs. There was cereal, juice, flavored coffee, and regular coffee. For an inexpensive motel, it was fantastic!
The only drawback we had, and it wasn’t awful, was that there was some kind of something on the floor in the room. We wouldn’t have noticed it except we spilled a cup of water and had to take a towel and wipe it up. The towel came up brown! We didn’t notice anything on our bare feet and the bathroom floors were sparkly white, but there was that….
Other than that factor, we were totally happy.

The pictures are not like the rooms at all! The pillow cases and sheets were dirty like they hadn’t been washed. The towels had stains too but they didn’t look like new stains. The floor in the bathroom was not even like so off that it held water if you got out of the shower. The shower curtain had mold on it and the shower was very dirty and had rust in several places all throughout the room and bathroom. At 1 am people sat in front of our door and had a conversation so loud it sounded like they were in our room. At 9 am we heard super loud music. We thought it was the people beside us but when we went outside it was the cleaning lady! They had a sign in the room that if you wanted breakfast you had to let them know because they wouldn’t be getting it out without us contacting them.
Definitely wouldn’t go back. Good news is we looked and there weren’t any bed bugs. I’m not sure if they just didn’t check our room before we came or cleaned it but it definitely just wasn’t okay for the $120 we paid.

You get what you pay for
Capital O went from being a well-appointed motel a few years ago when it was the Classic Motor Inn and has degressed into basically a low-end place with the services declining with each visit we've made there. No hair dryers, no coffee makers, no ice makers and questionable cleanliness. The breakfast is very sparse.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there! The customer service was great. The property does seem to be going through renovations, look forward to seeing the completed work. My bed was pretty comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The owner was friendly at check in, however my bathroom had a single towel in it, some soap, no wash cloths or hand towels, and no shower curtain upon my arrival. I called the front desk and the issue was immediately addressed. There are only blinds on the window, so it was very bright very early. The bathroom was quite outdated and in desperate need of updating and wasn't very clean. The rooms seem to be pretty bare bones, so don't expect much in that sense. Breakfast was only okay; there's definitely room for improvement in that area too. All in all it was doable for a night, but I would absolutely go elsewhere if I stayed in Branson again.

dirty floors
The hotel is pretty dated which is understandable considering the rate. We can do old if it is clean. The room did appear to be clean but once our kids took their shoe off and we saw the bottom of their feet we realized the floors were pretty filthy. The shower handle was loose so it was difficult to get the water temperature set but the employee did come to help us and show us how to do it. Overall the employee we dealt with was nice but the room just needs some better upkeep.

The property was clean and well maintained. The proprietor was not very friendly at all. For instance. In the mornings I would go to the office for ice. I would ask may I have some ice please. No response at all. He would get the ice for me. I would say Thank you. Again no response. The staff was friendlt and polite.

The location is right in the heart of Branson. This was a plus. The downside is the beds were horrific. They are old spring mattresses that hurt every pressure point on your body. The kids didn’t mind so much, but my husband and I were sore and hurting the next morning. Definitely will splurge next time on a hotel to have a more comfort sleeping.

We got the room for $45 per night which was ok. You get what you pay for the mini fridge made so much noise I could t sleep, bathroom door knob was broken, and the ac unit barely worked. But like I said for the price it is what it is

The white plastic Venetian blinds do provide privacy as well as curtains would. And the Venetian blinds keep the room very bright especially from the Mercury lights next door.

Comfortable, Clean, Peaceful
Check in was easy, employees were polite and friendly. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Room was on the back side of the building facing the pool. There was a hole in the wall behind the door handle that the front desk was aware of. No complaints, we only stayed one night but I would absolutely be comfortable staying there again.

Disgusting!!!
One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever booked!!! The window heat/AC unit was filthy and hanging off the wall, the bathroom was disgusting and the inside of the door either had blood or maybe coffee splattered on it!!! Needless to say we did not end up staying the night and when i explained the room situation the the person at the front desk he didnt even offer to give us a new room or a refund or even a sorry. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I was disappointed, The hotel has been a very nice place in years past. The check in was very easy and fast ( no complaints ) The room was nice at first glance. but then we noticed a couple of silverfish bugs. We only saw 2 or 3 when we first arrived. The sink faucets were dirty. the caulk around the base of the toilet and bathtub was old /dirty ( should have been white) There were some black marks on the toilet lid, just had not been cleaned good. (Small cheap Toilet) The bottom of the bathroom door threshold looked like it had never been cleaned. I liked the flooring but it had not been cleaned well. The bottom of my bare feet were dirty from walking on the floor. They did serve a hot breakfast. average

Room was nice. Very basic. Microwave, mini fridge. Not much parking on sides of hotel. I wasn't thrilled about leaving my car in a parking lot behind the hotel. Hotel lobby was Meh, and the check in employee wasn't thrilled to have customers.

Pillows are very flat and old mattresses from swampy dirt in the corner of the bathroom had been cleaned. The man at the check-in desk was cold and unfriendly. On a scale of 1 to 10 this was a 2.5.

Own Maintenance
My husband went and told the office that our shower wouldn’t drain and the guy didn’t know what to do my husband asked him for a wire hanger and a screwdriver and unclogged the drain which was full of hair. It was very disgusting. Then my mom and grandma didn’t have hot water in their room so he had to fix that also. When asked who does the maintenance his replay was no one . We didn’t get offered anything for doing the maintenance or anything. Don’t think I will be back here.

The office personel was always friendly. We had made up bed and clean room and towels each day. The only downside was the ice machine (only one on the property) is out of order and has been a long time. They really need to fix it.

The lobby was cute and the guy on desk congenial upon check-in. Room inspection showed that the cleaning has not been completed. The beds were missing pillowcases, the floors were not swept, there were dirty washclothes on the shower rod and floor, and the soaps were used but in open plastic packaging. When asked to be moved to another room, the guy at the desk began getting irate. After being yelled at in conversation, being offered another room (next to a person smoking weed at the next door, so I declined), I finally just asked for pillowcases. I was refused a refund.

Good budget motel
Good-clean, recently updated rooms with no carpet. Not great-it appeared our tub had attempted to be painted which made it look very grungy. There were only two pillows per bed. The tv is super small. It took approx 3-5 minutes each morning for the water in the shower to warm up. Overall,this is a very decent budget motel.

The stay was wonderful, I usually stay at Treasure Lake (time share). They were accommodating, clean, and noise free. If there was a problem ziti would be too much light…I live in the country and there is no light.

Pool and rooms were clean and cozy, the staff were friendly. It was a quick drive to all the attractions and restaurants. I would recommend my friends to stay at this hotel.
