This is a off the strip value gem. Rooms are not brand new or very modern...but more than good...not great for a Vegas stay. Upgrade yourself to the Lanai rooms and enjoy a patio with pool access. Great stay at a great price.

When we first arrived we thought, this is a nice hotel off the path. Check in was smooth. Room was dated but ok. Casino was good. Not enough servers. Went to bed around 11 pm. Woke up to use the bathroom around 1:15. Saw a half dollar size cockroach. My husband got up to kill it and it wouldn’t die. Took a few attempts. We packed up and got out of there. There was no way I could stay there after seeing it. Checked into another hotel. Called them in the morning and explained what happened and told them housekeeping would find it. All they said was thank you for letting them know. No offer to compensate us.

Great hotel! Food, casino and theater were awesome! Room we had was a little older and could use a facelift but bed was great. Windows were dirty so not super nice to look out till after sun down. Not alot of time spent in the room on this trip anyway so those things arnt much of a bother. Great view of the strip and sphere from 11th floor!

We had never stayed off the strip and this was the first time. Well let me say that we will continue to use Westgate for all the times we go back to Vegas….everything was super close, walking distance and the hotel was way worth it. We will be back!

My room had a leaky faucet and they would not come up and fix it. The light would turn and off during the night. The room was very dark and many of the outlets were not connected.

Westgate was an inexpensive option that worked fine for our trip but it’s old, not super clean and paper thin walls made it noisy. Was nice to have free parking though.

The bathrooms for these properties need to be desperately remodeled. Not only did my tub fill up with water every time I showered but the toilets were just too low to the ground and too small. There was mildew and mold all over the tile and the faucets fixtures in the tub were coming loose.

We had an issue with the first room that they gave us. It had a soaking wet floor and you could tell they had to clean up where someone had gotten sick. We complained and they immediately gave us a new room. It was very nice to have the monorail stop at the hotel so it was easy to go to any casinos and spots on the strip. Much cheaper than having to uber or pay for parking.

Run-down casino
Lobby greets you with a strong perfumery smell to attempt to cover the cigarette smoke. Elevator bay broken down twice in my 4 night stay (walked down 17 flights one-time, walked other side of hotel the other). Don’t stay in a standard room - holes in carpet, worn & tired feel. I was switched to a remodeled room because they couldn’t fix the toilet (running, wouldn’t flush before tried using it). Once in upgraded room, the fridge was rundown with a high pitch squeal. I unplugged it rather than switch rooms again. Positive: proximity to Conference Center. Food expensive but good.

Front desk staff were generally nice. Checkout was terrible. A large group was trying to check in and it was a zoo. Management should have looked ahead at the large group checking in and put on more staff. Also very disturbing thing was that on checkout the clerk told one story about hotel policy but this proved to not true. I had a long telephone conversation with a manager who hung up on me. So so rude! I will never go back to the Westgate as long as I live!!!!!!!

Bath tub finish was falling off, peeling. The vent above tub had water damage and the vent was full off dust, not just a little, it was a build up from not being touched (cleaned).

The sheets had hair in it before use, the bathroom wasn’t super clean and there was pee in the elevator for at least 8 hours before someone cleaned it. The staff was really polite and great but the cleaning of the hotel is terrible

It was a great trip until...we got sucked into a "timeshare" presentation. Stay away from the preview room. 90 mins turned into 3.5 hours of frustration and meanness. The Sid's restaurant staff was awesome.

There are a handful of food options on the property itself. Although the hours are odd that they are open. This is an older property that has had some upgrades but definitely not the cleanest. The views of the strip and the Sphere were amazing from the room. The staff is super friendly but can be overwhelming with the pressure of trying to get you to view time share. Parking was super easy and the tram being right there is very convenient. Definitely not a kid friendly hotel at all. We love Vegas but most likely will not stay at the Westgate hotel again.

The Westgate is old and it shows. There are people waiting down the hallway just to get on the elevator to go to their room. Everything is slow. Staff were friendly however this place is just not the nicest venue. Look elsewhere even if you have to shell out a few extra bucks. You will be thankful.

The resort was wonderful, a beautiful property off the strip with access to a shuttle & monorail to get to all the tourist spots.
The staff was congenial and very helpful extending my stay when a DC blizzard canceled my flight. I will be staying here again.

EP birthday weekend..
I went for Elvis Presley. I didnt get to see the room where he performed however, everything else was wonderful. They know he is the reason for probably most visits and they play it up. It is a beautiful hotel and the old feel to it is wonderful. Maybe the room floors could use a cleaning and cameras however, my reason for going was great! Thank you.

There is no coffee machine or hot water kettle. Heater won’t work and felt so cold to wear jacket in the room all the time. It is good that the room is redone, but lack of furniture to make the room feel cheap.

The staff and hotel were fantastic, but the elevator was the worst. I had to wait 5-10 minutes every time. The elevator was absurdly insufficient compared to the number of rooms.

The room was just plain weird. Only two lamps on either side of the bed, so the room was dark. Can you believe no overhead lights ?? No table, so we had no place to eat the food we purchased in the hotel. No outlets!! I had to go literally under the bed to plug in my phone charger. I had to plug in another accessory across the room in the only other outlet and have it sit on the floor bc no table!!! It’s the most inconvenient room I’ve ever been in. The only bonus was close to the convention center.

Resort smells good when you walk in. That’s the only thing I liked it. But the room was not clean. There were 2 employees in the lobby trying to scam me by offering some type of “membership” with “benefits” supposedly free but you’ll have to pay $40 upfront. And they get upset if you say no. Anyway resort was nice but not clean at all.

Sids frankly terrible! You can walk one block to the Marriot Hotel and have a breakfast buffet for $28.00 vs. Sids $35.00 pitiful attempt at breakfast. The menu actually lists "tatter tots"! They are greasy. My fried runny eggs were medium . I played in the casino hours for several days. I asked pit boss if they could take my license for potential comps(which they kept giving out vouchers for a raffle) he said NO! Then he turned around and walked off. I wonder why every casino on the strip has hundreds more gamblers? They focus on selling "WESTGATE". Yet, somebody is cunfused to think those pieces are not a part of it. The first room I had was leaking water in the tub and was "stained" building a stalactite. How is that possible? Most of the staff wears smiles and trying to work hard!
Management and the menu needs a shake!

We stayed at the Westgate hotel for a wedding on New Year’s Eve. Our room had someone else in it. We went back down to the front desk & they upgraded us to a suite. It was a nice stay. Very comfy bed & pillows. My only dislike was the bathroom lighting was too dim. Everything else was great!

We have stayed at the westgate 8 times prior. The check in line was long and it took 45 minutes. The available upgrade was a nominal upcharge and I ended up getting a much larger suite which was very nice. We will stay there again.

If you are willing to get the monorail pass, this is a good option. We stayed during the christmas and New Year and the room service was not good. I had to call and ask 3 times to get our room serviced. They skipped leaving facial tissues and shampoos while we were running low.

Our room was in the renovated North tower, facing the Sphere. Thank you Tyler for the great view.
Room was clean and spacious, extremely comfortable. Dinner at Fresco was excellent. We are not gamblers, so no comment on the casino. Resort is convenient to the monorail, which made travel to the Strip a breeze.

Great Hotel, good casino, ok location. We loved the room, very spacious, clean, and well kept. Looked newly remodeled. The Casino was ok but lacked the feel of similar properties. Good restaurants but were booked so had to go else where for fine dining. Great Sportsbook.
We had visited, never stayed, at Westgate sometime ago and enjoyed it. Our last visit to Vegas was a little less attactive due to all the F1 "mess" and didn't want to get stuck in all the traffic so decided to stay a little off strip, hence the Westgate. Unfortunately, the hotel was packed due to the rodeo and this was a little off-putting.
This was my wife's annual Birthday trip and she has informed me to stick to the big strip venue's. It didn't help that even though I had informed the hotel we were here for her birthday they didn't even acknowledge it, or her at anytime. This was a first as all the other stays at least put a letter in our room, dinner or show arrangements, or something to make the stay special. The check in clerk didn't even seem to care we were there...
It's funny because we had our dinner comped at the Fontainebleau and we were not staying there, simply from being asked by the restaurant staff there why we were in town.
The little things do matter...

Close proximity to the convention center.

Hotel met or requiirements for 1 night stay. Saw U2 concert at the Sphere which was 30 min walk.
Was not aware of the tram transport from MGM to Gateway. Would have been helpful as we walked numerous miles along LV strip to Westgate. Would recommend a tram stop at the sphere during concert dates since the tram passes right by the sphere.

Just doesn't seem like a well maintained place. The casino floor was flooding from the ceiling and everything just smelled wet and moldy. Would rather pay more money next time to stay somewhere a bit nicer.

There was a problem with cleanliness. New Bath towels had poop stains on them, and there was hair on the bathtub. The room didn’t have an amenities card or booklet. The Casino sports bet didn’t cover Karate Combat and the guy was smug about it. Funny because KC dropped a dime and had all their fighters and meetings there.

Just okay! Room was dusty and not well maintained. We stayed for 3 nights and you have to request room clean up. Otherwise, they will not clean it daily. Front staff need to be train in Customer Service. Wi-fi unreliable.

My guest room was very nice. The corridor to the room was well worn. I was there for business not play, and could never get the wifi to work (so much for the resort fee). When I gave up and decided to watch tv, the tv barely worked, all the channels were fuzzy and the tv would randomly shut off. The next morning at 3:30 a.m., no hot water for a shower. I expressed all of this to the desk clerk at check out, but they didn't seem to care or offer any compensation.

The carpet in the room was stained, the bathroom sink was clogged, the HVAC was so noisy that we just turned it off. We did not receive maid service the entire length of the stay even after we called about it. There were no bathrooms in the casino - seriously. The food that was available was overpriced and bad. We were promised a discount in the buffet that wasn't even open. I feel sorry for anybody that stays here.

We stayed for 4 days and we didn't have water for almost two days. We went to the reception to ask for water and they gave us 5 mini bottles of water for my family of 5 people. The man at the reception was upset because we asked him about the water. We were never told when the water would return.

Without the glitz and glamer, this resort is conveniently situated walking distance from the convention centre. It's Taxi/uber accessible to take you anywhere on the strip quick. We stayed and dined mostly in the resort for the duration of our time in Vegas. The choices of restaurants serve a wide variety of food and I must say, extremely tasty whith all I had.... A BIG shout out to your lobby bar man and security team for recovering and returning to me, my left behind back pack.. Cheers 🍻 .

A bit dated and run down
Room was rather run-down and in need of a good update. Bottom of the tub was rusty, shower head loose, wall finishes work. Room did not have any table or counter to work on as opposed to other rooms of colleagues. Would probably stay at this hotel again, just for the convenience to the Convention Center, but not for any other reason.

No wireless availability. When I inquired at the front desk, they just gave me a help desk phone number. I had to request bar soap as there was none in the room and only one little shampoo. Room was not serviced during our stay even though we were out of the room the second day of our stay. Although the hotel was convenient to the monorail, the facility seemed tired and in need of a refresh.

I have never stayed at the Westgate, but I definitely would again. It’s quick and easy to get to anywhere on the strip from there, especially if you use the mono rail. I found the hotel was priced right compared to most of the hotels on the strip. The restaurants and other amenities at the resort we’re all great! We will be back again!

I booked the same exact room type as a coworker of mine. I got put in a terribly dated room that visibly had about 20 years worth of hair and dead skin on tufted leather furniture at the end of the bed. If you walk in and see this piece of furniture, go back and ask for one of the newer rooms.
Other than that, it's a place to sleep. It's not the worst, but there's nothing amazing about it. It's convenient for things going on at the convention center.

The hotel was average for Las Vegas. The elevators were not operating in our area which made it harder to get around. I was disappointed that the rooms did not have coffee machines, minibars and the request for adjoining rooms was not fulfilled. As a result, we had to pay extra for the rooms to be adjoining. The only reason we stayed at the hotel was to see Barry Manilow. Sadly, we will not return to the hotel or recommend it to others

It’s an older hotel but it’s in fairly good shape. The newer rooms are worth paying extra for. Having the monorail access makes it convenient to travel to the rest of the strip. We stay there because of the Sportsbook which is one of the best.

The walls are too thin, any conversation in the adjacent room can be heard very clearly, which in turn will disrupt the sleep.
