It's okay. The room was clean but looked messy from multiple patches. The desk staff was friendly. They offered breakfast, but there was no waffle mix and the other options were old and stale. There was no one available to help.

It may be that the place was clean, but it had a seedy feel and look to it especially in the the stairwell and halls. The staff person checked us in and took our credit card and just before we took our bags to walk upstairs to our room he told us that the hotel had no water due to a water main problem with the town. He said it would be up and running shortly. We should have been informed of this from the beginning. Also, residents in homes near the hotel told us they had no water. We left and went to another town. The hotel worker assured us we would not be charged.

Less than expected
When checking in the owner stated that the city was working on water lines and there would be no water for 5 hours. This was fine with us as we were leaving for our event after checking in. In the morning we attempted to shower and there was no pressure to start the shower, so we were unable to shower. Upon checking out the owner had taped a piece of paper to the front door saying that the motel had no water. There were other visitors taking a picture of the note taped to the door, so others were as disappointed as we were. Our room was clean but the bathroom could use some work, replace toilet with the higher type toilet and the sink fixtures were missing parts and the drain was rusted. I used my Hotels.com free room to stay here so the small amount I had to pay out of pocket wasn't a great loss other than the loss of a free stay at a better place. We frequently stay at Super 8's when traveling and this is not a place we would ever stay at again.

No way to turn shower on, bath water was rusty when turned on and there was no handle on shower to switch between tub amd shower.

Decent price for a nice room
Comfy beds, nicely remodeled room. Checked in late at night and was off early the next morning. For a place to sleep for a few hours, it was great. Convenient off the highway. Plenty of parking. "Free breakfast" consisted of 3 cold cereal choices, a few danishes, and coffee - so not great, but it will suffice in a pinch.

Hotels.com should make sure Hotels are clean
The room smelled horrible, the bathroom door didn't latch had to block it to stay closed. I reserved a 2 bed roo.. they only had 1 king bed. The front desk argued with me about it. Because we were there for special Olympics no other rooms were available. I believe Hotels.com should take some responsibility for offering a place like this. It was the worst Hotel I ever stayed at and would recommend it be shut down until it is updated and cleaned thoroughly.

Good thing was the mattress was good the bathroom toilet clogged the TV didn't work at 1st in the air conditioner had to have the gentleman from downstairs come up to start. The continental breakfast was nutty bars honey buns and cupcakes too defrosted Waffles a bagel 2 pieces of bread cereal that looked like this looked like it had been in the container

Accessible room isn’t ADA compliant and BUGS!
Accessible room isn’t ADA compliant. Shower head is not reachable for someone in a wheelchair and no shower chair. Also there was a cockroach and a large brown spider that we killed within minutes of entering the room.

Stayed for an overnight at this hotel due to no vacancy near Normal, IL. We had no choice this one time.
The staff management were friendly. The hotel.is old and outdated. The carpet felt dusty as it needed a vacuum. I woke up with a congested nose due to dusty air. Hair in the sink, tub, and bathroom floor. Sheets also Had some hair and the side of the mattress were stained. Kind of gross.
Continental Breakfast is not at all inviting. Did not felt safe eating items that were out due to Covid. Also, the Illinois mandate sign was on the door, however, the staff were not wearing any mask and staff did not enforced at all.
I Will not stay here again or recommend it.

The price for the room was affordable, so you'll have to accept the fairly cheap breakfast. Mostly hostess cakes and community cereal and milk.

This is as good as it gets for budget options. Room was clean and cozy, felt very comfortable sleeping there. Furniture was basic but expected at this price point. No frills, bathroom was clean. Hotel located just off the highway with two 24-hour convenience stores within walking distance. McDonalds located on adjacent lot. Highly recommended budget option.

Pros - Room was clean and no odors with recent paint, new looking shower unit, carpet and air conditioner. Bed was comfortable. Appears remodeling is in process and my room and areas I saw are very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cons - building is older and exterior shows it. Furniture in room is outdated and worn (chipped, etc) but very clean. Remodel job is amateurish, but clean.
Overall - very satisfied, especially for the price.

Quick over-night stay hotel
The hotel is a small, right off the expressway, which is nice, cheap convenient hotel. There was nothing special about it. I was going to a friends 50th birthday party & I lived too far away to drive home & need a place to stay for the night. The hotel was clean & not expensive, but it needed updating. If you are expecting a plush hotel don't stay here, but for around 50 bucks I would hope you would not expect much. They do have smoking rooms for any of you smokers and they allow pets. This is a good hotel for a quick over-night stay.

Disappointing
The shower water could not be turned off. The maid supplied conditioner everyday but not shampoo?! The light above the mirror was burnt out. It has been renovated, but it looks like it was painted by a blind monkey...paint on fixtures, overlapping the trim, missing completely in some spots. Don't stay here unless you are desperate.

Unable to lock deadbolt, wrong plate installed, not a chance of locking. Open and unopenned cases of beer in hallway (workers, guests?) along with other items. Under renovation, so some leniancy, security and hallway cleanliness not forgiven. Hallway still cluttered in the morning.

Wish I didn't spend any money
This place is a disaster.
The pet room is gross, I'm appalled to have to say that I'd rather of stayed in a smoking room then the pet room.
The toilet ran all night and we were told right away by the desk to only flush once and they knew it was broken. Seems like it had been awhile.
The tub knob is so stiff I had to make my roommate come turn it in and he had lots of trouble.
The wifi can only be connected to from the hallway above room 125. The thing with this place is the service.
You ask for something like towels for the broken Luke warm and very dirty hot tub.
The pool is freezing and dirty (clean some filters jeeze) jets don't work either.
When I confronted the desk clerk he was in his personal phone ordering food (could hear him give his cc over the phone) right in the lobby.
The breakfast was the best part however only the biscuits.
I have pictures to show the state of the room
Also curtains did not cover full window so you could see the bright parking lot all night.

The hallways and stairwells were very dirty. The room door deadbolt did not work, though there was a chain on the door. The air conditioner worked super and the bed was comfortable enough. The "free" breakfast was mostly old muffins/pastries and cold cereal. Muesli was provided and a microwave to heat it if you wanted. Coffee/milk/juice as well.

Attentive staff, adequate accommodations
Stayed here as overflow site when ISU graduation booked almost all nearby rooms. Staff friendly and efficient, rooms relatively spartan but clean. Breakfast was minimal, w/o coffee because of local boil order.

Disgusting hotel!
Terrible hotel. The odor was extreme. The lights in the room didn't work. The TV didn't work. The water was brown... couldn't take a shower. The tissue dispensers were empty. They had no coffee in the morning. You couldn't make this up. Called front desk, went down a couple times, no human to be found. Worst hotel in my lifetime. Stay away!

This hotel is absolutely disgusting! There were bugs on the walls, hair all over, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I wasn't expecting much for what I paid, but we ended up leaving an hour after we checked in.
