Took at least 30 minutes to check in. There was only one person and about 12 people in line. The room appeared clean but is in need of repairs to peeling laminate and vacuuming perimeter of black carpet. I tried to not touch anything.

There are two gyms at this property, however one is closed two days a week. The one that is open 24/7 is in a randon closet area, is dirty has broken equipment. When I complained about this because the two days I was there were the days the other gym is closed, I was not given any compensation. The room felt humid and is sub par of other hotels at similar price points.

We were there to see Luke Bryan on NYE. The hotel was a short walk away from the resorts world for a fraction of the costs which was good. They only had one restaurant in the hotel though and was quite expensive. It did have a monorail right outside so that was convenient to take to get to the other side of the strip as the Sahara is at the beginning of the strip. Also, just a short walk to the sphere or you can also take the monorail. They have different standard of rooms. The first one wasn’t great and very dated so we got an upgrade to what would be ur standard room, in my opinion.

Way too many fees!
The standard room was actually nice, even tho the front desk was trying to get us to pay more for a newly remodeled room. The couch in the room was very nice. Front desk was not very friendly. Way too many fees, after I paid the hotel room thru the app, there was the Resort Fee which was more than I paid for the room, then there was the deposit. There was a sign at the front desk that they are charging a gratuity fee for the cleaning staff. Ridiculous, Las Vegas just isn’t the same with all the fees every where you go.

Always disappointed with the registration situation. Fifth stay in a year and no loyalty program for stay and dining. That desk sets the tone of the whole stay and they are miserable for the most part.

On Monday, January 22nd, we had the opportunity to enjoy an evening at the casino located within the SAHARA hotel, during the late hours of the night. Specifically, we were participating in a Texas Hold'em table, my cousin and I, experiencing a very pleasant moment. The staff, including the dealers, significantly contributed to our positive experience.
At one point, we were informed that one of the newly hired dealers was practicing under the supervision of two other individuals. During the game, this dealer apparently made a mistake by paying out a hand to my cousin that should not have been compensated. The supervisor, realizing the confusion, informed the casino manager, Chris, who quickly arrived, interrupted the game, and explained that an incorrect payment had been made. According to Chris, my cousin owed $80 dollars to the casino. Everyone at the table was surprised, looking at Chris, and he rudely asked why we were staring at him as if we hadn't understood what he said.
The way Chris addressed the situation was inappropriate, creating an uncomfortable moment for everyone present, including the dealers. In an attempt to lighten the situation with a joke, I mentioned that we preferred to communicate in Spanish since we didn't speak English. However, Chris responded rudely, claiming that we had understood him because my cousin had made the $80 payment to the dealer, and he left without further explanations.

The room I booked was not the room we were place in the first night. We had booked a King and placed into a room with two double beds and not told of this change. It was not until I open the door that I realize not the room I book for our stay. Went down to change room was told none was available as they had overbooked the hotel. The agent that helped us was offering another to upgrade to a queen city view, I told our agent we would take the same if they didn't have any king room and then was told that clients had told her the queen beds were no much bigger than the double beds and she moved on from there. Was offered to have room changed the next day and waived the hotel fees- we agreed, however the king room we were placed in was very much a downgrade from the double room - smaller bathroom, etc. it had a king bed but again not the room we had booked.

They ask for extra security deposit after you pay… then the food is really expensive! The staff is amazing…I didn’t like the rain drip shower head thou…also the sink was clogged …other than that it was a great stay

Where we always stay
This is my fav place to stay in Vegas for many reasons. Parking is super simple. It's more "boutique" which means you are not walking a mile to get to your room. There's security at the elevators. Cost-effective.

Nicely redone. Not at all like the “old” Sahara. Elevators are slow and tired. Both on the Blanca Tower and self parking. But the room was clean and quiet, and surprisingly, had daily maid service. I thought that went the way of the dodo. $45 daily resort fee is extortion. If it’s mandatory just include it in the room fee.

I really enjoyed the sports bar. I had a very bad night in the bed that was extremely worn. Neither me nor my wife got rest on Saturday night. So instead of staying the 2nd night(Sunday night), we opted to check out and travel home. While departing, we were unable to get to our car due to neither elevator locations working(We are handicapped). After getting back home we discover that the Sahara is trying to charge us for the Sunday in which we checked out. This visit was a problem

This is a hidden gem. I usually stay on the strip at the bigger brands. Never again. Sahara provides all the luxaries of the strip without the chaos. Being at the Sahara is like living in the suburbs right outside a busy city. You can always drive to the city if you want more chaos. I love the vibe in the Sahara and there is never a shortage of women because of the magic Mike shows. My only complaint, and it's minor, is some of the checkin staff need to focus more on their CS. 90 percent of them where awesome though. I'll definitely come back again.

Great place to stay!
The room was immaculate, and the food was delicious everywhere. We especially enjoyed the noodle place. Spacious casino that didn't seem smokey at all. They must have great ventilation and I appreciate that. I would definitely stay at the Sahara again.

I have never stayed at the Sahara before. It was recommended by a friend. The best part for my stay was the side entrance it was very convenient. I wanted to get a players card but it was closed. But other than that it was great. I would recommend and stay again.

I have never written any reviews for any hotel before. But for Sahara Las Vegas, I feel that I have to say something about its condition. I still felt like vomiting even thinking of it. I think I was traumatized by its dirtiness. Sahara is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at, please stay away from it. The room's not clean at all, we didn't even know where to put our stuff, and the worst part is the water faucet which had green and other dirty stuff on it and you could tell it was not cleaned for a long time. we all got sick after staying there.
Not sure whether they were lack of staff, the check-in time seemed lasting forever.
Hotel management, you can't just focus on making profit, you need to take the customers' health into consideration. Las Vegas strip is such a beautiful place, and should let people have a lifetime good memory there, do hope Sahara makes contribution to it, not doing the opposite way

It must be cheaper than other hotels on the strip. The room was clean, we needed a crib, they provided it shortly after we checked in. The hotel is conveniently located close to last monorail stop/ station.

I loved that it was away from the chaos of the main strip area. We were three adults. I loved that the Monorail was in the building, and the convenience store had everything, a large selection of name brands, you might need including sandwiches. The decor was classy, and all was clean and fresh smelling. I would suggest though, a mattress and pillow change - they were very stiff. Transportation other than the monorail was easy and always available. Our views of the mountains and the Strat were stunning, something being at the end-ish of the strip lets happen. Also, the Wallgreens on the corner and the General Store were a plus. We are not gamblers but we went to many of the local attractions - such as SpeedVegas and the Paradox museum. So, that is the atmosphere that worked for us.

Worked perfectly for our needs. We wanted a location on the strip, but not in the busiest part and close to a football camp we were attending. Restaurant food was very good. Clean. Monorail stop. Free self parking. The only issue I had with our stay is that we left a bag in the room and it was not recovered Security, housekeeping, and the front desk were not as helpful as we would’ve liked.

I didn’t read the fine print about the resort fees so be prepared to pay more when you check in. They didn’t offer room service and doordash isn’t able to deliver to your room in this hotel. It is close to downtown Vegas and the monorail is attached to the hotel which was nice.

This wasn't my 1st stay here, so I had to come back especially for a birthday staycation. The dining options were yummy, easier access on & off the strip is a plus, the table games dealers are fun, & the Amina Spa is top tier in my book. Thank you for a memorable stay. I'll return.

It was a beautiful hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade and we were glad we did. The room was a new renovated unit and it was so nice, clean and peaceful. No heavy traffic of people in the lobby or casino like other hotels. Will definitely come back and stay with Sahara.
