Quick Overnight Stay
The Faro Blanco is a beautiful resort right on the marina. Although our stay was too short to enjoy the resort amenities, the property was beautifully maintained and our room was very comfortable.
The staff were warm and welcoming. We were offered a welcome drink and fruit infused water was available in the lobby. The cafe had delicious breakfast options for a reasonable price.

I've stayed at Faro Blanco the past couple years and I was pleasantly surprised by the recent renovations. I highly suggest staying with Faro Blanco as the staff and amenities are superb.

As soon as we walked in the staff treated us as if they were bothered that we were checking in so early in the morning . She asked “ do you need something “ with a sassy kinda annoyed attitude but we just ignored it . Rooms were clean and had a quiet environment . Worth it for a short stay.

Didn't get to stay at Original booking they moved us to the CourtYard due to an issue they had but turned out better. A room with and amazing view actually would probably book the Courtyard the next time to begin with. Everything was perfect. Parking. Bikes to use. Wonderful pool. Fire pits. Beautiful property.

Rooms and Hallways very Clean and Colorful
Rooms and hallways look like they were recently renovated. Hotel hallways and room’s decor were very color and beautiful. The only thing that was missing from our room was a mini fridge, which we really could’ve used. There was even an empty spot and plug where the mini fridge should’ve went.

We have stayed there 3-4 times. It's easy walking distance to many bars and restaurants. We like the waterfront pool and restaurant/bar. The rooms are spacious and well kept. it would be nice if they had microwaves in the room.

This is hotel is very run down, the pictures make it look so nice but it’s not really. The maids left our hotel room door wide open after they cleaned it, luckily our stuff wasn’t stolen. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t sleep. The pools were dirty and not by the water. Next time I’d stay next door.

Loved; sofa bed comfy, nice pool area, good restaurant, great front desk staff, nice to also use Comfort Suites amenities, good workout room, food credit worked, as did ice and elevators, great dock.
Problem: design of frosted bath window in bedroom meant if someone turned on the light at night, the whole bedroom lit up. Also, refrigerator made noises.

The property is in the process of updating, but it there was no inconvenience at all. The whole staff was helpful and kind. The room was perfect! Would definitely stay again!!

I spent so much for a "suite" that was no bigger than most hotel rooms and then was hit with a significant charge of close to $200 for 3 nights for parking (not enclosed or secure) and for "resort fees". At several hundred $$ a night for a room the resort fees for just a small pool use seemed excessive. I was also not aware of these fees till check out. Will not be back.

The property was very well kept and clean. The rooms were very nice, I believe we stayed in a remodeled room
with good space and layout.
There was convient dining on the property and two pools.
The restraunt was great for lunch. My only complaint was the dinner portions were high priced and child sized portions.
Other than that, its a great place to stay.

I had called to let them know we'd be checking in late. When we got there, they'd given our room away.
They sent us to Faro Blanco Courtyard Marriott (who was fantastic ) except Maribel at Resort wasn't upfront with us or front desk at Marriott.
Atashia at Marriott was FANTASTIC! She went above and beyond getting us settled in at Faro Blanco Marriott

Loved the 2 pools. Plus the hotel next door is their sister hotel and you can use their pool and hot tub. Lots of iguanas which we loved!!! (Although the locals supposedly dont) Rooms appeared very clean. They definately need some updates, which the hotel is currently in the process of doing! They have music by the restaurant/pool most evenings which is nice. Hammocks you can use. They have fruit infused water in the lobby for guests which for whatever reason i love!

We enjoyed the bar and restaurant and being next to the marina. Our room was dirty and there were stains on the couch and floor. Shortly after we checked in to our room, the door opened and another guest had been assigned the same room. We felt a little uneasy the remainder of our stay.

Gave us an early check in, which was very appreciated as we had flown in on a red eye with a toddler.
Stayed for 2 nights. Had to ask them to clean our room multiple times. Property surcharges are crazy.
Felt a bit segregated. Everyone was greeted warmly; but my family and I were exceptions.

Our front desk staff was extremely professional and helpful.
They went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. However, the rooms were very dated and we were told this is a 4 star hotel. The rooms however, were very clean.

This property is under construction. We were not told about this prior to arrival. There is caution tape and fencing near the pools and there was even jack hammering around the pool in the morning. They will be shutting a pool down soon for a remodel and rooms are being remodeled so call and check the status before you go. The hotel is too big for only 1 pool! We also found out they were shutting down the whole floor we were staying on when we left for a remodel, so we stayed in a room where they were going to trash everything the day we left.

The staff were first class. Reception Yushsane Anna Ray & Otis so polite and efficient. Breakfast staff wonderful Krustina and particularly Diana could not do enough. Absolutely wonderful attention. Only criticism is the hotel is tired and badly needs updating

Eh...Not worth the money
Hotel is nice but for $397 plus resort fee and another $20 for parking (in an empty lot), I would have stayed at another place. Isn't worth the money.

This is an upscale resort, that was not very upscale. They were doing construction at 6:30 in the a.m. There were groce throw up stains on the carpet right outside our door. The carpet was tattered the elevators were dirty. And a hidden charge of $50 for parking our car there. This place was expensive and that hidden charge was rude.

The hotel has a great location near the marina. the view is fantastic, we also stop by the nearby park, the sunset view is fabulous. However, the hotel itself was just OK. pretty old room with not enough outlet, and they also charge $15/person resort fee plus a $20 parking fee, which is what I don't like about this hotel.

We were happy with this short stopover here on our way north from Key West. Our room was large, super clean and modern. There were two pools to choose from, an outdoor bar and dining available at the Yacht Club pool, and we could also use the amenities at the Courtyard by Marriott next door which included a more kid-friendly pool, hot tub, nice seating areas for watching the sunset over the water, and tropical outdoor bar and dining.

Breakfast is lovely, but don’t bother pre-paying for it (it’s not a deal, so you may as well keep the flexibility). Lovely property; no disruption from renovations. Nice to be able to use the Marriott hot tub next door. Not sure what the resort fee pays for, but didn’t feel any value from that (and parking on top of that). Good location - a few places walkable; others an easy drive.

Middle keys.
Unfortunate to pay additional $20 a night for parking and $30 a night for resort fees. Also other guests checking in received a welcome drink, nothing like this was offered to us.

We booked 2 nights at the property, and left after first. The pictures of the hotel, the “beach” area were misleading. The bedding wasn’t clean and pillows smelled. Really bad experience, couldn’t wait util morning to leave.

Faro Blanco Resort - Birthday Getaway
The hotel was impressively clean, which was a significant plus for us. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff, with a special shoutout to Otis, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room itself was spacious, providing ample room to unwind after a day of sun and beach. The bathroom was equally spacious and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The only drawback I encountered was the spotty Wi-Fi in the room. In summary, Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club offers a clean and welcoming environment with excellent service from staff like Otis. The spacious rooms and pool view are definite pluses, although the Wi-Fi could use some improvement. We would certainly consider returning for another stay in the future.
