We went out in the morning and took the sign off to have the house keeping clean the room. We got back around 10:30pm found out the room still the same, no one clean our room. So I called the housekeeper, the lady told me “Ok, I will find some one to clean your room, but I don’t know when.” What? So we don’t know how long my family have to wait to get room clean and towel replace then we can take shower and sleep. I was mad and I called front desk, guess what the staff said, “they are right, we don’t work for the housekeeper, we don’t know when someone will clean your room.” I freaked out and asked if I can speak to the manager, guess what the staff said, “you need to come down here if you want to talk to manager”. OMG, what kind of customer service is it? I couldn’t believe this is MGM Grand. This is basic skill of customer service. I was so angry and rushed down to front desk, I complained to the manager, Ms. Ana, she was very nice and apologized to me. MGM needs to provide more training to their staff and have better customer service.

We got to the property and tried checking in the line was way too long. They claim to have digital check-in so I tried using that. I downloaded their app I put in my info I tried going up to my room and my digital key didn’t work after I spoke with the front desk they said the feature is new. Then I tried finding a place to eat. I felt like pizza, so I went to bonannos Pizza. I ended up getting inedible garbage. The pizza was a floppy mess. I felt sick to my stomach because not only was the food terrible but I paid $65 for five slices of pizza this for three people not to mention just walking in the MGM Grand is nauseating, because there is so much cigarettes smell, they seem to have absolutely no ventilation so much so that one wants to throw up. I know this is a hotel /casino but I visited Bellagio, Caesars Palace, ExCalibur, and the Venetian and none of those hotels smelled like this. The service was horrendous. No one seem to be able to help me with anything. When I got to my room, my fridge was locked. I didn’t even have a coffee machine and they literally had a sensory machine hooked up to some water bottles and snacks that I could tell you had to pay for it if you even touched. I actually didn’t even. touch any snacks but they tried charging me $23 because they said I touched a snack. I had to fight with them just to get this charge removed. In addition, my bed was super uncomfy, so it was hard to sleep. All in all terrible stay wouldn’t recommend ever again to anyone.

What is a great place to stay. My daughter and I had a really good time. See you in the show. Tape face was wonderful for Brad Garrett‘s comedy club turned out to be a big disappointment. The comedians that played that night we’re good, but we thought Brad Garrett was going to be playing. You need to do a little more reading and find the calendar of events to be able to see the nights that he is supposed to be there. We need to put it in big letters that he does not perform there every night. Otherwise, it wasn’t great stay the staff was wonderful and we really enjoyed herself.

To far to walk. You need to consider disability when scheduling. Elevators were so far away from our room. If you are elderly, you need to notify them if unable to walk distances.

It was a good short time at Las Vegas, so was good to stay in the Strip and have all attraction close and easy to acceses. The room was really good but kind of smelly sometimes (like cooking smell). And the last day we found the bathroom dirty after going out for breakfast, everything was on the room nothing wrong but it was wear and suspicious

It is a beautiful property that seems to be well-kept. The staff and personnel are as friendly and gracious as you would expect from a wonderful tourist destination. I had two issues; the bathroom faucet, whenever used, leaked water all over the bathroom counter. We were not allowed to use the mini fridge in the room, a $50.00 fee if anything in the fridge was touched. We were not allowed to put, self-purchased, water in the mini-fridge.

Mostly fine. The building's X layout and elevator placement means you could get many miles of walking in based on where your room is located. From the Whiskey Down restaurant to my room and back it is 0.4 miles (Apple Watch certified). Our room was modern and tastefully decorated. Our 2nd floor view was of a wall and courtyard with plenty of debris. Casino was nice and the shops were plentiful. A glass of wine was over $20, so pro tip: order your free drinks while you're gambling and tip the servers $5. I got charged $20 for "room purchase" that I didn't. Who knows how that happened, but who wants to fight that battle? I used the app to check in which was convenient. You then use your phone as a key. Restaurants were nice and many choices available. All in all, not bad.

Hotel was conveniently located and rooms were spacious and well maintained. Did not like the fact that there was no coffee pot or refrigerator in the room. The selection of channels on the TV was far too limited. Also, the casino area was far too smokey for us to want to use the casino at the MGM Grand.

We paid for an upgraded room to smell sewage off and on for 2 days. It was also an "upgraded" room located directly above the receiving dock of the hotel that receives shipments throughout the entire night. Trucks beeping, backing in all night long. The upgrade was a terrible waste of money.

This is a very large hotel, and unless you’re a gambler, you are not really their target guest. Our first night we were disrupted by noisy people in the neighboring room, it took two calls to Security before anyone came to check and asked them to quiet down, shortly there after they started making noise again. To the hotels credit, they did move us to another room for the following night check in and check out lines are incredibly long. The main reason we stayed at the hotel was to see the Cirque show Ka which was perhaps the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life

The people at the concierge desk were wonderful, as well as the front desk and also the stores. But the room was not what I expected at all. It was decor from the 70's w/an ugly mushroom lamp and no desk to work at. The kicker for me was no bathtub to soak in after a long day of walking. I don't think I will stay at this property again.

The 1st room assigned to me wasn’t cleaned (trash on tables, used towels) but staff was helpful in getting me a new room. The 2nd room had a green spotlight shining in all night, with no black-out shade, the shower didn’t fully work (only some water diverted to the shower head), and the tub drain was clogged. I’ve stayed in worse hotels but expected more from MGM.

Non smoke-free resort
Our stay was great, love the automated self check-in and check-out system, very convenient. However, when we need services to get a set of new towels for the night, we have to wait for more than half an hour before we can get anyone to deliver the towels. Also, the smell of cigarette smoke is everywhere even though the resort claims that they are smoke-free environment. For whoever that is sensitive to cigarette smell, like myself, might have to reconsider staying at a casino resort in the future.

Stayed here with my husband on our first trip away since having 4 kids.The rooms were very clean, the beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. Loved the easy check in with the app. Major downside was how Smokey it was in here, I mean I went into a lot of hotels and casinos but found MGM to be one of the worst. Even the elevators reaked! My eyes burned every time we returned to our hotel. If they could figure out a way to somehow filter that out or even have more non smoking sections I’d return. But for now I don’t think I’ll ever set foot in there again. On the plus, discovered the most amazing Chicken Strip joint almost next door “Raising Canes”) Being from Canada I had never heard of them, but so glad I walked in that night, and the next, and the next……
