Perfect hotel for family
Did weekend trip with Kids. Clean and convenient hotel to stay in. I checked in via Mobile app and room was ready by 1:30 pm. No casino and crowds so it's perfect for family. Kids loved the layout and wants to come back. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at the Delano, formerly The Hotel, on five previous occasions. That includes two stays in January. It used to be the height of luxury but now it has been overtaken by the newer mid Strip hotels. It feels rundown. The staff can be unhelpful compared to other hotels. It has also been taken over by NFL fans now that it is the hotel nearest to the Allegiant Stadium. I like it. I had a good time. But it's not what it was.

This is NOT a Five Star Resort!
Very disappointed with our recent stay at the Delano in Las Vegas, we were met with several disappointments, including broken EV chargers, expensive parking fees, lack of amenities like slippers and robes, and overpriced room service. The hotel lacks the presence of valets, housekeeping, and other staff throughout the stay. We will not be returning and hope for better prices and quality from other hotels in the future.
The existence of valets, housekeeping, and any sort of attendant is nonexistent. It feels as if you are completely unattended to while you’re in the hotel. Perhaps this is a new style of hospitality that is geared towards improving profits, but it certainly feels as if you’re completely neglected the entire time you were staying in this property. There is no contact with any kind of employee from the hotel from the time you arrive till the time you leave.

Made us to stay in accessible room. We communicated we booked this hotel because of the tub but refused to change. Said I don't understand property management. Promised to give $150 off which never happened. Not stratified with the service.

Check in was easy. Our room was upgraded at no additional charge and they validated our one night parking. We had a lovely view, everything was clean, the bed was comfy and service was nice! It’s not right on the strip (which is why I chose it) but it’s not hard to get to. It’s also super convenient to the airport.

It is not what it used to be. Our room was sufficient to get us through the weekend, but the couch and carpet were dirty. I remember when this was a high end hotel (5 star). Now, the best I can rate is a 3. Our friends room across the hall was cleaner, but the decor is not inviting and needs a refresh. Very disappointing for the cost.

We had a good stay! The Bed was super comfortable! We did upgrade to a room with a view loved the view. However, the windows were very dirty, so the pictures did not turn out Great! loved the half bath very convenient! Didn’t like that the fridge was locked and weighted so if you took anything out you were charged, could not be used for your leftovers or drinks you purchased from the store! I don’t know of any hotel that doesn’t have a usable fridge for guests in their room!

Rooms weren’t available till 7pm (4hrs after check-in time) due to housekeeping backlog. Finally room was ready and the comforter and sheets were full of stains and pubic hairs!!! Spoke to management about 10 times and other rooms were available so they would escalate a ticket to come change the sheets. Went to front desk and called several times and spoke with management but kept being told they would get with housekeeping. That didn’t happen until the evening of our second night so we slept on the couch the entire trip. UNACCEPTABLE
Room cost were doubled our stay due to a convention so customer service shouldn’t had been an issue at all!!!
Lack of hospitality and management doesn’t make it a point to correct the issues.
Will NEVER stay at this supposedly luxury resort ever again!!!

Dark and stuffy. Poor condition. Charged $48 for two bottles of water $15 for coffee that we made ourselves in the room using their coffeemaker whereas all hotels give this free of charge in the room.

This property charges you twice, the fees on expedia and when you check in they charge you another 80$ taxes (not the resort taxes that they charge you at check out) also they keep 200$ deposit . They charge for everything from the room even if you’re using the fridge and remove anything from the minibar

The rooms are OK, just OK for the rate. Some of the staff is lovely and some could care less.
I was shocked to learn (after I asked 3times) that the hotel does not have humidifiers and was told by front desk staff that I could buy one if I needed it so badly.
Also, I paid an additional fee to be on a Stay Well floor, which I learned via the own hotel TV channel is supposed to have some sort of oil diffuser/ humidifier machine on each room? Clearly not in mine.

Nestled in the larger Mandalay casino complex with its different pools, restaurants and amenities, the Delano all suit hotel is a good option for Vegas. Having two bathrooms in the suite was a nice extra as well

Love the Delano, will avoid the Saty Well beds
Love the Delano, easy place to find, close enough to the action and yet remains a proper hotel without the smoke and gling gling sounds of the electronic gambling all over. upgraded ourselves to what sounded a better experience, The Staywell beds are weird, feels like 2 mattresses put on top of each other, quite tall,
once you get in the bed it feels like you can not move at all. Love the Skyview Lounge/ restaurant.
Could do without the Keurig experience with 2 serving, cups sugar and creamer for $15 , feels like nickel and diming. coffee shop downstairs offered a much better breakfast experience.

Traveled with family. Their room was not ready by 3. Staff was rude & would not give them estimated check-in time. I arrived later...used the mobile app. Directions were confusing. When booking I requested a medical refrigerator. It was not there. I both called guest services and asked a housekeeper for it. Finally went out and bought an ice chest as we would've been charged $50 a day for storing insulin in the minibar fridge. Fridge showed up the next day. A sensor on the mini bar is ridiculous...if you pick something up to look at it and don't put it down within 15 seconds you get billed. Advertising an in room coffee maker then charging $12 for a coffee pod is embarrassing for a 5 star hotel. Phone in the front room didn't work (no one came to fix), bedside ihome didn't work (they didn’t have another one), coffee maker broke. Requested a replacement but got tired of waiting so borrowed one from another room. Replacement showed up the next day but they left the broken one on the floor in our entryway. Concierge was never available. The room itself was lovely, the hotel décor beautiful. But if its service your after, this is NOT the place to stay.

Terrible check in process. Our room was not ready at 3:00 pm . Almost an hour wait. The restroom for disabled people was dark and not well lighted. It wasn’t disabled friendly. No trash can and no sink to wash your hand.

The room I booked was unavailable and I should have been apprised, prior to arrival. It took a very long time to get through to guest services to discuss the issue. I was given a hotel credit, but the issue did not give me much faith in The Delano.

Last Night
Everything was wonderful until the last night when we walked into our room and found that our room was opened by someone. I later discovered an unknown refrigerator was place in our room with a pair of toothbrushes, without our consent.
We called the front desk, and they called a service man to remove it, he dragged it by the cord out of the room with anger. I was unpleasant last night, and what a shame because up to that point we had enjoyed our stay.
Last point, the parking lot is crazy if you first arrive. Nothing is clear until you ask, an even then you have to fight for parking with non-guest due to events happening around the hotel.

The Delano is the perfect chic hotel with that boutique feel. The room was very clean and I loved the “wellness” added features such as the air filter in the room. My only complaint is that there are no covered beds at the pool. For the price of the “Wellness Room Suites” the Delano should include at least an umbrellas for the pool.

Probably will never stay again as the room amenities were lacking - Keurig coffee machine in room but $14.95 fee for a paper cup and 2 pods or you can get dressed and go downstairs to buy your morning coffee, mini bar refrigerator locked - fee $50 per day to use but, oh not for personal use. Personal use refrigerator provided upon request - $35 per day fee. $24 for a bottle of water in the room! Even Holiday Inn gives free in room coffee and refrigerator. Very disappointing, they have taken nickel and diming to a whole new level of hundreds of dollars!

The hotel and rooms are very nice and clean. It was quiet and I had no trouble sleeping. What vastly outweighed all of this is at check in they initially dismissed our request to have our two rooms as near to one another as possible and only had 1 of two ready. We were assigned separate floors. I tipped the woman checking us in and asked if they might find two closer together. She did and quoted 10-20 minutes to get the first one’s cleaning completed. I checked back after 45 minutes and they had started cleaning the first. She was apologetic and said just a few moments. After two hours my sister went to priority check in and complained to a manager who finally worked to get us into the rooms. From the time she started with the manager it took about 30 minutes to get the first cleaned from start to finish and then we waited on the second. We started check in at 6 PM and got the first room at 830 PM. We were exhausted as were our kids.

Delano rooms are clean and the half bath is a must. I didn’t like the view from the 14th floor facing the pool. Couldn’t see much. The previous 5 years we had a higher floor and loved it.

Great facility and design, beautiful suites. But we encountered multiple minor issues, such as no availability of the room we booked (which they accommodated with a different set-up), housekeeping staff knocking on our door at 3 am, and general slow response of staff members.
