The room size accomodate easily 5 guess. The kitchen area is well equiped except for the cooktop which can be required. The breakfast which is included in the price doesn't have a big variety, it's the basic. Quality/price was ok for thr night

Excellent hotel, great customer service but with a pathetic Wifi !!!! 4 Mbps !!!!, nothing can be done and forget about streaming. Also, music 24 hours running under the windows of the second floor rooms. It won't let you sleep. I asked the manager and AM and they both said nothing can be done to turn it off or even to lower the volume during the night, a complete joke !!!! Very nice place but this two deal breakers. Thank you.

AAAAAAAA Nice hotel. Great place to stay. Horrible wifi !!! Really pathetic for such a nice hotel. Also, having music in the speakers outside of the rooms windows between the 1st and 2nd floors 24 hors a day. They won't allow you to sleep. Horrible !!!

The property is definitely a bit run-down and our room (and floor) had a musty smell. Our shower didn't work and we had to switch to a different room. Breakfast was very limited. We had just come from staying in the exact same room/hotel in a different town a few hours away and the differences were quite noticeable. We chose the location to be close to the Keys, but next time we would probably choose something nicer in Homestead. Front desk/service was good.

Very nice and clean
Very convenient location, room were big and clean very comfortable sofa bed for teens. Surrounding area were safe and close to everglad national park and miami beach. We stay 2 night and both days our room were clean and stock. Breakfast was very good.

Good, but not great.
The staff was amazing, and the location is pretty great, but the room was so humid and the smell of cleaning products was so strong (I think from the humidity). Our two kiddos were having trouble breathing with their asthma. That was the only problem. Everything else was good!

It should be a staff greeting you at the entrance also helping out with you luggage. I did not like the noise coming from the upper floor.I called the front desk they called the upper room that was above noise stopped.next night same thing noise😠

Very Nice, Dog-friendly Hotel Close to Everglades
We had a very good stay at this hotel.We stayed here because they are dog friendly. There was a sign indicating furry friends would get small amenties, but I never received anything throughout my 5 night stay for my dogs. The breakfast was very good. Items featured were sandwiches, kettle oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurts with an excellent fixing bar, waffles irons. I was pleased with the quality of food offerings. Our room was spacious and well-equipt. The pull out bed, however, was awful! The mattress was so thin. The bar was in my back which resulted in an uncomfortable sleep. The pool area was so pretty and allowed for good tanning. The only issue, and it can be a huge one for some families, is that the pool hours are from 8 am-7 pm. Too late of an open time and too early of a close time. Within the patio area were two gas bbq grills. They were clean and newer looking so we took advantage and grilled steaks one night. The gym is open 24 hours and has some free weights, univetsal machine, a very good amount of cardio machines and a Peloton spin cycle. Within the gym was a small laundromat. Each machine was $3. I always saw someone cleaning, so on the surface rhings were clean, but the place is in need of a deep clean. Many common area carpets had stains. Front desk staff were polite, but never overly friendly. My advice to the hotel: indicate a dog relief area and offer a bag station; use real plates and silverware to cut down on one time use paper and plastic products

The kitchen has no cooktop, no can opener, no pots. The office will not loan out any cookware. The bed was made in a way that I have never seen before (I am a well travelled person). The thin polyester bed sheets was a turnoff. I have trust Hilton brand hotel, but this one really disappointed.

Sub-par Hilton
This location seemed to be subpar compared to most other Home2 Suites we’ve stayed at:
- Overall facility needs a face lift. Rooms are dark. Still using old compact fluorescent bulbs instead of brighter LED bulbs.
-Breakfast was disappointing, especially compared to the many other Home2 Suites we’ve stayed at. The only meat was in the prepackaged microwaved rubbery breakfast sandwich. If you want a waffle, there was no protein to go with it, so it’s mostly an all carb meal. It seemed like the hotel was still in the COVID era with all the prepackaged item.
- The rooms smelled bad. We had to change rooms because of the horrible smell. Probably pet urine from this pet-friendly hotel.
The room itself was nice and spacious.

The property was clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast was totally carb heavy. Hardboiled eggs the only option for me. I have an alpha-gal allergy (meat allergy) and the options for food was super limited. I had a yogurt and hard boiled egg each morning. It was disappointing. My husband was able to have the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich and yogurt, but I was limited.

The breakfast was very good with enough choices. Beds were super comfortable and room was big. Shower pressure was good and water nice and hot. Quiet at night. They forgot to clean our room on the second day but when I inquired about it, they sent the housekeeper right up.

We stayed here because it was convient to Everglades National Park. The hotel is adequate and has a small kitchen in the room which was great to have.
I didn’t like the free breakfasts because there wasn't any healthy food - waffles, frozen Jimmy Dean sandwiches, frozen fruit...
The area around the hotel is ugly. This isn’t a place to hang out and relax. We got out early in the mornings and stayed out.

Nice property for the area, which is generally not a place I would let my kids run around outside at night. It's got a lot of people coming and going, but I did not have any issues with my car or belongings. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean.

I have videos. The doors are so warped I physically have to throw my entire body into them to get into the bathroom. Both from the kitchen/bedroom area. Seriously. Not only that but the plugs and appliances don’t work. I have video of that too. Honestly there was ONE remote for BOTH tvs. Luckily it was a universal but between the kids and my husband I’m going back and forth.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Loved the room layout and space.We had issues with the bathroom doors not being operable. They both would stick on the floor. We had to close the main door completely and enter through the bedroom door which also stuck after halfway open. The floor behind the door was dirty because the housekeeping staff couldn't operate the door.

Bit worried before we came with some previous reviews but it was excellent. We stayed for 3 weeks and used it as a base for shopping and outings to the Everglades and the Keys. Staff were excellent and our room was just what we wanted for a longer stay. Breakfast was fairly simple but still had enough so you didn't get bored day to day. The gym although fairly basic was better than some real Hiltons I have stayed at. The laundry room was well equipped and we used it several times. Pool was clean and we lounged there many times. The surrounding area had lots of eating options within walking distance and grocery store choices. Overall an excellent stay and I would recommend it.

Very pleased with the suite for a party of 5. Slept on the sofa bed pullout and surprisingly it was quite comfortable. My only pet peeve, and this with most hotels now, that there is not a towel for each person staying in the room. My husband had to request extra towels.

This place was nice but you would think it would be better since it’s a Hilton hotel. My room smelled like someone had 10 dogs in it and they all peed on the carpet. The only way they’re going to get that smell out is removing the carpet and I don’t see them doing that anytime soon.

Good for a night.
It's not the Ritz, but you shouldn't be afraid to stay here. Lobby and breakfast area are nice and breakfast itself had some good stuff. The room was large and clean. Shower had luke warm water at best, and while they had shampoo there, there was no conditioner. Weird. Front desk reception was in training (not surprised these days) and it took a little longer to get to my room. I might stay again, but I might also see if there's anything else in the price range and rating as this.

Just not up to par, room condition is just out right underwhelming ...needs a serious makeover - it insinuates a full kitchen (but you can't cook in it, lol - no stove) - "no hot water"... the best you have is luke-warm (what's that all about?) - gave it three stars in trip advisor due to the staff being reasonably polite ...here the use of the word "disappointing" fits better (although, the morning waffles with blueberries downstairs are pretty good once you learn the how to's of the irons)
Reasonable daily range is probably Hollywood to Marathon - you want to do things around Key West, stay somewhere south of Marathon, it's just too far for a daily commute.

This hotel is in a rough part of town. One car was vandalized and another car stolen on the night we stayed. We stayed here to stop for the night before proceeding down to the Keys. If that’s your plan, I would recommend staying either in Miami or key largo.

This is not the first time Hilton screws my booking. I specifically booked a suite and when I got there to hear it was already taken and got a regular room instead. Not even a refund for the difference in price :( Done with Hilton!

We told the front desk that the toilet seat, shade and blind were broken in room. We were gone all day in Key West and came back to nothing being taken care of. We were also lied to and told maintenance would take care of it. We will never go to a Home 2 suites again.

I prepaid for the room with hotels.com. When I was checking in the woman at the front desk said she entered my credit card wrong and couldn’t check me in. I didn’t really understand what was happening. The night auditor from the back came up to help and said that the problem occurred because I paid with Discover Card and they don’t take discover. I explained that I paid hotels.com and what card I used with hotels.con shouldn’t matter. They held firm and said I couldn’t check in because I paid with discover and I needed to call hotels.com to get some code to make sure that they would be paid. I called hotels.com, waited a long time to talk to a person, tried to explain the situation, and got nowhere. The nice lady on the phone asked to speak to the night auditor. He explained that the woman at the front desk deleted a code that would get them paid and needed the code again. Hotels.com lady says no. Night auditor says they’ll fix it with management in the morning and checks me in. 20 minutes of a run around because the front desk woman screwed something up. Then up in the room, DANK, musty smell! Carpet is wet and squishy because the room is so humid. Couch is super dirty. Not enough bedding and pillows for the couch bed. Bathroom door doesn’t shut. Little bugs crawling all over the kitchen and bathroom counters. This was our second stay with Home2 and it will be our last. The ONLY plus was it’s location. Easy to get to Keys and Everglades.

Not up to Home2Suites standard.
Unlike most Home2Suites, this one was lacking. The property showed lack of love, with scuffs on the doors and halls. Our room had hair on the shower floor and dishes still in the dishwasher... we couldn't tell if they were clean or dirty. Not their best effort.

The suite we had was large. For some reason, they put us in an accessible suite which was fine. It would be great for a person who needed it. Staff was great. The rooms are in need of an update (giant stain on carpet for instance) but it was clean, comfortable, and the full kitchen with dishwasher was a pleasant surprise.

Disappointed that having booked the property 3 months ago and requested a first floor room they claimed they didn't have one. Covid breakfast was bad...a hard bagel and small yogurt. No juice available. Dog in room next doorbarked loudly for over 30 mins at midnight. Although I am a Hilton Honors member I couldn't get more than a 30 late checkout when I requested 1 hour! Bad experience top to bottom.

We were very disappointed that the OUTDOOR pool area was shut down due to covid as well asvthe full breakfast. Other hotels in the area such as Best Western had the pool open and breakfast open! Then our cable tv connection kept going in and out and the wifi was not working either. The hairdryer kept over heating and shutting off. It was one problem aster another. Thank god the beds were comfortable so we could get some sleep!

I booked 2 nights at the hotel to stay with family. We stayed there one night and next morning were evicted because general manager can not handle simple questions from customer. I booked the hotel 3 days before arrival, where it clearly stated in a describtion that there is a “free breakfast buffet”. I will post a picture of that. Also in the elevator is advertised how there are possible 400 different breakfast combinations. Traveling with group of 6 people, including children, it seemed like a good place to stay as everyone’s food options would be covered and we don’t have to drive around looking for breakfast place. Next morning, about 8am we come to the “buffet” area to find out that the food options are limited.. VERY LIMITED! There was 3 half empty jars of cereal, some white bread pieces and fritatas in packages.. basically cheapest gas station junk food. I asked the General Manager why the hotel is scamming people as they advertise what they don’t have. He got rude and arogant, claiming it is complimentary so I should not complain and it is “bar”, not “buffet”. Also he was mandating we wear masks to enter the “food” area but the night before the staff did not wear it and he himself had it only on his chin, hipocrite! I reminded him that state of Florida Governor’s Order states that businesses can not mandate masks but he said if we refuse to put masks on, we have to leave and then he called the cops on us, since “I AM not happy with the service”. DO NOT STAY THERE!!

The property was run down. The room and accompanying bathroom were not clean and it had an offensive smell. This chain of hotels is typically exceptional. However, this particular location was not at all on par with others my family has stayed in. Very disappointed.

Overall it was an ok stay.
Pros: the rooms are large with a fridge, sink and microwave. When we checked in they advised they are short staff so housekeeping would come every 5 days or the day we check out which was fine. They also advised the pool was limited but we could use it if we check with them first to ensure they didn't have a lot of guests using it at once due to covid. The highlight of the stay was the lady who prepared breakfast on 12/31. We mentioned a food allergy and she brought out all kinds of wonderful alternatives, she was so thoughtful!
Cons: when I asked if we could use a stove for the room they advised that while they had stoves, they had no pots or pans, so we couldn't really use them. I asked if they could turn on the fire pit on new years eve and were advised by front desk that they didn't know how and weren't sure of if it works. Then when going to the pool the next day, when no one was in it, they said they decided to close down all shared spaces (contrary to what we were told when we checked in). And for a suite with a kitchen, there was only 1 fork in the room so we had to share. The room smelled wet and musty.
Overall, I recommend going to a place with less amenities as none of them were really available to us so we overpaid for what we got. If you want a full kitchen, they don't have it and have no pots or pans or forks. Hopefully they will make some changes in the future.

We stayed for 4 nights in the King suite. The room is huge and so is the bathroom. Having an extra living room with a well equipped kitchen and a second tv is very nice when you stay a little longer.

“Hot” breakfast was a box with bagel, yogurt, a microwaveable sandwich—all sausage— no options.
Pillows were AWFUL! We had to request extras.
Staff was responsive to needs.
No provisions if you forgot a toothbrush
