I had a huge room with an awesome view of the sphere and high roller. Way affordable and staff was super kind/friendly. The only thing missing, was a coffee maker in the room which I realize isn't a standard in thr Paris or Horseshoe.

3 day trip
The room I booked was not available at the time of arrival. I was quickly advised that “rooms are subject to availability”. So, what’s the point in “reserving” a room and the hotel charging my card a room charge prior to arrival if the specific room I booked isn’t held till my arrival time?
I was given the option to change rooms the following day. Which was an inconvenience but did it anyway. Desk person was sure to tell me I was given a “free” upgrade.
Both rooms had the same cosmetic defect …paint chips on the vanity which could be easily touched up to make a difference in apperance .

We did not get assigned the same room we reserved, had to sleep in a queen instead of king. Hotel was terribly smokey, didnt seem like the ventilation system was working.

The hotel room was loud and not overly clean, looks like it had its last renovation in the early 1970’s. If I wasn’t there for a convention I would have left for another hotel.

Overall good value and convenience staying here, but was given a room overlooking Flamingo Blvd so was fairly noisy. Room was clean and spacious. Love that there was a fridge in the room! Will stay again but will request a different room location. Also, you cannot check in earlier than 3pm without an extra charge or check out late without an extra charge. :/

Check-in almost ruined an otherwise decent stay.
Booked two rooms through Hotels.com. Upon arrival the self-parking was not easy to find and no information indicated it was shared with Paris. The parking ramp was decent and not as inconvenient as some hotels, it just wasn’t clear where to park. Ari, the desk clerk made the check in as miserable as he possibly could. Fortunately there was another clerk who would help me. Who would have thought booking two rooms through the app would make things so complicated? The room itself was decent and clean, nothing special but the bed was good and it was reasonably quiet for being in the heart of the strip.

When we arrived we were told our room was no longer available. We paid for a king with a view and ended up in a dirty queen room with a roof view. The front desk gal was rude and said, “it states it when you reserved there are no guarantee.” She was rude, matter of fact, and very off putting. Not a single apology for the inconvenience. This is misleading and an easy out for them. She said if we come down between 12-2 we can change it.
We had to hang around the area until noon and then move and unpack. We couldn’t enjoy or settle in our first night.
We were able to move the next day at noon. The gentleman at the counter was helpful, apologetic and he gave us a much nicer room with the view we paid for. He also waived the first nights resort fee.
Remember to let them know if you are not staying a night if you plan any overnight trips elsewhere. We were charged for parking when we didn’t stay there two nights. We were, however, able to get these charges reversed after waiting to check out with a hotel clerk.
We didn’t get any towels or trash emptied (housekeeping) one of the days and we couldn’t find anyone to get clean towels the morning we were checking out.
The staff around the casino/hotel were friendly and helpful throughout. Mostly a bad first night experience.

We had a great stay. The room was exactly what I expected, after watching reviews on line. The casino was HOT. All in all, the hotel is close to everything and we had a great time. I do recommend this hotel for the location and the price.

I got in the hotel at 3:30PM and there a very long line for check in because the check in terminals and registration/check-in counters were closed until check in time of 4PM.
I got my room access cards, went to my room, the room is clean, but the A/C inside the room makes very loud noise when it goes to its set temperature.
I barely slept that entire night. I called the Guests Service to extend my stay for another day and nobody was able to help me because their system is not working. So, I ended up checking out and decided to drive back to St. George UT.

Second time to stay. Most of the staff was great (especially those helping people coming in and then helping them leave. ) Both times the ladies who checked you in - I know they have a hard job, but both times were really rude. When you spend a lot of money on a much needed vacation you need and expect the staff to try to be cordial.

Old, poorly cleaned rooms, unfriendly staff
Poor guest services, very unhelpful and unfriendly. Room was a bit grimey and unclean, also could hear through walls like they were made of paper. When I used the hotel elevator, the security guard on duty for the upper level rooms was busy socializing and failed to stop a gentleman whom walked right past him into an elevator full of people with a fully lit cigar. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know, and will never return. There was nothing positive about the stay unfortunately.

Room was dirty in several areas. Brought this to their attention, including photos and specific areas to give them the opportunity to remedy it. Was told a supervisor would come to clean. When we got back to our room housekeeping had been in but it was still dirty. I let them know. They asked if I wanted a supervisor to come clean. I said No, it was too late as we were back in the room. Then a supervisor knocked on the door. I showed her the areas not cleaned. She agreed it needed to be done better and left. That’s it. Heard nothing more. Would not stay again based on this experience.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The convention area was well lit and tastefully decorated. Sadly, the ventilation in the casino isn’t ideal. The smell of smoke is very strong at times. The location was great and access to the Paris was really nice.

We arrived at 10am Saturday. I tried to do the early check in with the kiosk. It couldn't find my reservation. I didn’t catch the staff that came over to help me out. He was kind, found my reservation and asked if i wanted to pay for early check in. I said yes. He has a possitve attitude and made my wife and i happy. Thank you staff member. State at this property with my daughter. The room was spacious and clean. We were on the 15th floor with a nice view of Vegas. A little bit noisy at night time, because of the traffic below. Other than that the casino is a little bit smoky, but, everybody was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

After booking, I received an offer to upgrade rooms and chose an option that was $99 per night. I wanted this room because it had a soaking tub and I decided to treat myself. Upgrades aren’t guaranteed, but I was informed I would be notified if I received the upgrade when checking in, and would be charged for the upgrade at that time (if awarded).
When I arrived, the person at the check in desk was very rude and did not inform me that I had received the upgrade, and had me pay the resort fees plus deposit. There was not an additional charge for the upgrade, so I assumed it wasn’t awarded.
When I got into the room, it was indeed the upgraded suite with big tub. I was happy and excited to use the tub, which was the only reason I requested the upgrade.
There ended up being NO hot water for the entirety of my stay, so the tub went unused. We called the front desk twice about it, and a maintenance person even came into the room to fix the issue. However, it was never fixed and we weren’t notified about why it wasn’t resolved. There was no offer to change rooms, and at check out I told the front desk that I didn’t feel comfortable paying the additional $224 for the upgrade. She talked to a manager and came back to me only with an offer to refund the resort fees ($90 for 2 nights), but I was still asked to pay the entire fee for the room upgrade.
I followed up with someone because it didn’t sit right with me that I was required to pay for the upgrade for something I couldn’t use.

I stayed here many times when it was Bally's. I have not been there for a few years and since it was re-branded as the Horseshoe. No doubt it has undergone a face lift but I think it has lost a step. No soap or laundry bag in the room. Bathroom was clean but the vanity was a bit dinged up. Flavortown restaurant was a disappointment. For my purposes it was okay but there are better options on the strip. For a business trip it was okay but I wouldn't take my wife here.

The room was not clean, the floors and carpet were filthy. The HVAC venting had never been cleaned in likely months maybe even years. The top of the headboard had a minimum of a millimetre of dust and who knows what on it. All people want is a clen room, not too much to ask...

The room was clean, quiet, with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Nothing fancy. But very few people work there so you interact with technology which we were not impressed with. You had to walk through the casino which smelled terrible - possibly cigartette smoke with something to cover it up? Convenient location with easy UBER access.
As with most of Vegas, the lower the price of the hotel, the unhealthier the food available at the restaurants and the bigger the portions - Guy Fieri's Flavortown says it all. Not a plant-based option in the resort, although the coffee shop did have soy milk. But we were happy to have a less expensive comfortable room and eat elsewhere.

it just had a rundown feeling. The self service check in machines did not work at all and guests were all mad. I ended up going to a human and he was very nice and checked me in. The hotel is old and feels old. Definitely needs a serious upgrade....and I mean serious. The outside section in front of the hotel is dirty and rundown also....compared to just 4 years ago, when it was pretty clean and new. I was surprised at how much it has gone downhill.

The wifi in my room did not work initially due to a bad ROUTER. After 2 calls with IT support and a visit from maintenance to reboot things, I ended up having to change rooms. In the new room all was good. So 4 stars for the facilities but 5 stars for the staff, they were great, tried hard at all times, and were very accommodating to getting a new room.

Fabulous stay in horseshoe with sphere view
We have reserved 2 queen bedrooms closer to elevator with has excellent sphere view on 20th floor. It was fabulous stay with casinos and closer other hotels. Hotel has connectivity to park hotel(Paris). parking on hotel was 18$ per 24hrs..
resturants(subway) in food court are down in p1. Nice sitting area representing the big sign board of welcome to las vegas.

We stayed in an executive resort suite with the high roller and sphere view. Upon checking into our non-smoking room which smelled like marijuana we had to have housekeeping services to come in to reduce the odor. The room itself was great otherwise and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had called the hotel before we even booked at the Horsehoe to make sure the pool and spa was open which we were told it WAS but then when we went to the actual pool miles away from our room we were disappointed to see it was closed for the “season”?? Horrible location from the room to access the fitness center and the smaller pool was a complete scam of resort fees! Then checking out today my receipt confirmed $18 was charged to my card for sekf parking. I had asked an actual human in front of the self check in kiosks just to be sure and was advised to use the room key to get out of garage but when we tried, the parking turnstile wouldn’t accept the room card and charged us $42 to get out of the garage! Then we called to inform the hotel of these problems and they didn’t have anyone to resolve for us. Would definitely not book here again for misleading info and pros did not outweigh the cons in what we desired in a Vegas hotel. Quite disappointed with the Horsehoe.
