Nice and Clean hotel
The only bummer experience I had was at check in. I clearly booked a king through hotels.com. The front office tried to give me two queens instead. Claimed “hotel was almost fully booked.” I know it was because I booked through hotels.com and not through them directly. The lady was nice and all and still got me a king bed room.

This is our second time staying at The Camby. We chose it because we drove 5 hours to purchase a new truck n Phoenix and needed to know that it would be parked in a safe location )because it was too tall to park in the underground garage) while we stayed the night. The valet service had it parked right in front of the main entrance and kept an eye out for it all night.

Love the Camby!
Love the service at the Camby! Staff very accommodating. Love the location. So convenient.
This is our go to hotel when we are in Phoenix.
Love the marble in the bathrooms and shower is amazing.
Do feel rooms could use a refresh. New flooring , wood tiles, new towels , bedding, etc. overall the Camby is fabulous! Thank you.

Very Nice Hotel, Great Staff
Check in was fast and easy. Only negative was that no parking choice other than valet, which on top of the $35 per night fee, then you feel obligated to tip the valet's. This increased the cost of our stay to more than I could have paid to stay at an alternate hotel.

Hotel is beautiful and in a great location. However my experience wasn't the greatest. Before arriving to the hotel, I completed E-Check in theough my marriott bonvoy app but prior to arriving, I recrived a notification that my room type was changed from a king bed to 2 queens. When I called the hotel to ask why our room was switched, I was told that because I booked through a "third party" site we are subject to the hotel on what room we get. Not needing 2 queen beds, I asked what other options we had for king rooms and was offered an ADA king room. The room was clean but the bed was horribly uncomfortable and the bathroom door was really slow to close. Overall it was an ok experience and now I am leery on booking through third party sites due to this experience.

Had a hoodie taken out of my room. I actually never wore it off the property just when flying into the airport. When I started to pack I noticed that it was gone. I told the front desk and the guy said the only thing he could do is tell the manager.

Great Stay!
I've stayed in the area before, but this was my first time staying at this hotel. It is a very nice, newer hotel, in a great location. Rooms are stylish and comfortable, and lobby is modern and welcoming. The lobby restaurant was also very nice, although I only had breakfast.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel sells itself as FAR fancier than it is. The lobby and restaurant are both very beautiful, but the moment you head up to your room, the appeal is gone. We requested on at least THREE occasions before our stay that we would like a room with a tub, and had it confirmed each time. Only to lug our thing up to the room, and find a only a shower. And only when we went back down to make our request for a fourth time did someone say that our type of room rarely had baths. They were finally able to get us an ADA room with a bath, and sent us on our way without so much as an "I'm sorry". The room had paint smears from painters on the lamp, and drips of paint on the bathroom floor, and instead of using a different door handle for the bathroom, they decided to cut a divot in the doorframe? And after all our fuss for a bath, it didn't even hold water. I feel really bad if someone with needs actually used their ADA room, because it is just not cared for AT ALL.
The restaurant inside is also not as fancy as it thinks. The menu is VERY minimal, and the menus are just on loose printer paper that is all wrinkled and spilled on? Everything on the menu is basic. Nothing unique and everything is astronomically priced. Even if everything on the menu was the best is ever had, they aren't worth it, especially the drinks, but the food was mediocre at best. You're much better off going to the MANY restaurants or bars near by, and just writing off the hotel's restaurant entirely.

Destiny greeted us and surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco for my husband’s birthday
The room is spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Loved the design features and wall art. Lighting throughout the hotel is exquisite
Tiffany also gave us a ticket for complimentary cocktails in their bar/restaurant Artizen, which we enjoyed before heading out to Tarbell’s for dinner. She also provided a $25 ticket for breakfast the next morning, which we enjoyed with Starbucks coffee
Fabulous stay. We will be back!

My husband & I loved The Camby. We were there for just a quick overnight but the service upon arrival was exceptional. The hotel was beautiful & swanky and extremely clean. The service at the restaurant/bar was exceptional as well. Loved it & would definitely stay again!

Check-in was friendly and quick given the long line, but I was only told about the $25 Destination Fee and not the $35 Overnight Parking Fee. The room was nice and I was granted a 12pm checkout, but the in-room safe, telephone, and shampoo dispenser were all broken, leaving my items stuck in the safe, me having to use my cell phone to call down to the front desk, and being unable to wash my hair after having just run a half marathon. After 2 requests, I still waited over an hour for someone to come and open the safe, to which the staff member simply said, “You can’t use the safe because the motor is bad,” rather than saying he would fix it. At check out, I asked to speak with a manager. I was told I would receive a phone call. Almost a full day later I still have not been contacted. For almost $400 for a single night’s stay, this hotel is definitely not worth it.

When I checked in they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. When I was checking out they charged me for parking and that was supposed to be taken care of by the business class I was attending.. Not even the manager seemed to know what was going on. Won’t stay here again.

We booked two rooms and requested early check in which we knew was not guaranteed. When we got there we were told one room was ready and the other would be ready in an hour. It took almost 3 for it to be ready which was actually after check in and the manger was unwilling to help stating I had to many preferences to put us in another already clean room and stated there was nothing he could do. He was pretty rude.
One of the decorative pillows in my daughters room had some questionable body fluid looking stains all over it. Our room never had body soap in it. We requested it be refilled and it never was.
Several charges appeared on my credit card that could not be explained. They were refunded at checkout but no one could say what they were for and the money is still held off my card for several business days.
No where on the website does it say the pool is 3ft deep. We were expecting an actual swimming pool but it is not.

My only gripes are valet parking is $35 per night, which is steep. But my vehicle was secure. Second, resort fees in the hospitality industry need to go away. Just build that into the price of the room and call it good. Other than that it was a decent place to stay. Sadly I did not get to enjoy the restaurant so I cannot attest to that part of the hotel.

I enjoyed the stay. It was very clean and accessible to just about anything I would need.....IE: Shopping Ctr, Gas Station, Groceries..... Staff was wonderful. Loved free waters. The only suggestion I have is maybe a BIGGER pool. LOL. The area around the pool was lovely and inviting! Thank you for making our stay a pleasure.

The hotel came across as fancy but also funky and fun. The decor and design was very cool and enjoyable. The location is great and very walkable to restaurants and shops. There is only valet parking which is an extra charge. The pool is more of a small kiddie pool and is on the roof of the 2nd floor not 11th like I was expecting. The room on first glance was great but upon closer look the crown molding was cracking and the bathroom ceiling was peeling and one whole side of the bathroom trim had never been painted… so much for feeling like the room was nice. Overall it was a good stay and the staff was friendly.

They seemed a little understaffed in the restaurant and the outside fire pits and heaters where a mess and they could only get 1 working consistently. It looked like they had not been serviced for a while. The one staff member did eventually put new propane in the tower heaters but could only get 1 to work. Stuff should work properly in a place of this caliber. The staff was all great and very pleasant.

Room was great! Staff was friendly! My only problem was that I was there as sort of a reunion with my family and we had 4 rooms and planned on spending all afternoon at the pool on Saturday 2/19, but were told it was closed because of a Wedding. We should have been aware of that prior to coming, because it may have changed our plans. At least they could have made some accommodations by opening the bar at 3 instead of 5. Needless to say we would probably think twice about staying in this hotel again if this is how they do business, especially for what we paid for the rooms.

We love the Camby location - walkable to so much shopping and restaurants and a quick trip to the airport. The staff was friendly and the food was also good. We just think the hotel rooms need some freshening - for its price and because there is much competition in the Phoenix area hotel scene.

Ok hotel, but in need of an update. Feels like it was probably pretty nice 5-10 years ago. Now just feels a little worn down and in need of a renovation. Also, there was visible caked on dust on some of the cabinets in the bathroom - indicating the cleaning is so-so.
Overall it’s fine, just not great.

Our stay overall was ok. Was expecting more of a cleaner room and stay. Someone had left a mobile phone in the room and we actually changed rooms because of our sink being dirty and running dirty water. We would stay again under different circumstances.

Cute hotel. A little worn out, but trendy and fun. The reason for my low scores was the condition of our room. Clearly a cigarette smoker was there before us. I was too tired to move rooms. Quality control should have caught it. On a happier note, the restaurant brea staff was wonderful and hard working.

Kennedy and Frankie, front desk specialist, went above and beyond for my birthday. They were very kind, accommodating and radiated good vibes. The Camby is clean and has a beautiful design to it. It is located about 30 mins from everything and has a yummy breakfast place and bar. I will definitely be coming back to The Camby.

I like the aesthetics the decor. I didn’t not like that the only option for parking was valet so I had no option than to pay the fee. I didn’t not like that we found stained towels and sheets on arrival and when asked for replacement took over an hour. I asked for daily housekeeping but when I returned at 4pm on our 2nd day our room had yet to be cleaned. I was also surprised there was no help with luggage . I has also expected to spend time pool side and watch watch movies at night poolside ( as advertised on website) but was told they were not doing that anymore. So overall as not what I expected and will not return.

I was disappointed with my stay. The restaurant had very limited hours and very limited menu when it was open. My room was very noisy. I could head the next room talking all night long. The shower dripped all night, not to mention the ceiling was leaking in the bathroom. My mini fridge didn’t work, and the remote for the tv needed new batteries so I was without tv for the first day. I would not stay here again, even it was free.

I was very happy with my room and the cleanliness. I read some of the reviews where others were unhappy, however I did not have a bad experience. The staff was very welcoming. Chris the bartender was exceptional and I loved the decor of the hotel. Having to deal with all the COVID pitfalls and delays, I think the staff work very hard to make the guests welcome.
Paying for the parking was the only negative during my stay.

It was perfect, you could tell they got into the perspective of their customer and made sure you had everything you needed. Staff was super friendly. Check in and out was easy. Price was excellent for the room we got. The maids were very nice. Hotel was beautiful. Valet service worked great and was worth the money.

Check in was incredibly easy and efficient. Free bottle of water in the lobby. We were tired from a day of travel so decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. The bartender was excellent. She made a wonderful martini and our food was delicious. We had the shrimp tacos. They were so good contact person. The room was very nice. The fitness center was small but adequate. Trendy decor. Highly recommend!

The Camby hotel is beautiful, everyone was very friendly and welcoming however there were a few things I did not like - the first was that our comforters had blood stains on them and the other one had some yellow stain on it. You would think hotels would replace stained comforters/sheets. Another thing I didn’t like was that sometime in the early morning there was no hot water to shower.. it was literally cold but had previously been hot on another occasion the day before. Lastly, we got a complaint at the pool for having a small cooler - we were told we couldn’t have it out.. I wondered why as it’s AZ and 100° outside but I didn’t want to cause an argument with the staff, we wanted to keep our beverages cold and we couldn’t due to this which made no sense because it’s not like we were planning to spill the ice on the pool deck and it’d be just the same if I’d brought my beverages in a bag except they wouldn’t be cold.

This is a beautiful, trendy hotel. Cleanliness wasnt quite what i expected, but it definitely wasnt gross. Just a few small things that were overlooked. Service was excellent from the staff that was there, but they were clearly short-staffed. Those that were working went abovr and beyond. The hotel had a great pool with cabanas and was the perfect location for dining and shopping - close to everything you coule need! Not all amenities were open or available due to covid, but what was available was great. I highly recommend this hotel and i think it will be even better once the effects of the pandemic are past.

The hotel is beautiful in a great location. All the staff are very friendly. My biggest issue this trip was although the hotel was very full with guests, the amenities available were lacking. The breakfast was limited, no lunch service, very little to offer at the pool bar. While I appreciate the pandemic isn't over yet, other hotels in the area are offering full bar service and meals. If the Camby had all of those services available I would have rated the Camby as Outstanding.

Awesome hotel & even better service!
Our stay was perfect. We were only in town for one night but had a very early flight in and late flight out. They were extremely accommodating - we were able to store our luggage at the hotel before check-in and enjoy the pool. Not only did we end up being able to check-in earlier than normal, we were also able to check-out late the next day. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located. Julio at the front desk was THE BEST! We will absolutely be back!

Nice hotel, pool was disappointing.
Very pretty hotel and nice location. Pool was a pretty setting but could not enjoy as there was an unsupervised child going wild in the pool for hours and had food in the water. No staff present to observe this at all. Would stay again but hopefully under better circumstances.
