Take my advice, don't stay here
Your chain in the US could certainly take a lesson from your Canadian cousins! I have never had anything but a great stay in a Motel 6 in Canada while the exact opposite has to be said for any US Motel 6. Upon entering the room, the floor was flooded from the AC unit well out into the room. Hot water was almost non-existent and the shower did not work. There were black splotches on the floor which I thought were part of the floor design but they were actually dirt. I guess some hotel chains in the US use the Covid epidemic as an excuse to not change the bedding and linen now as that was not done during my 3 night stay. Never again!

The staff was great, and I made the most out of my stay but the rooms were very very smelly in a way i cant describe. It came from the vents forcing me to turn them off but the smell still remained in the room. If the price was under $70 for a night I wouldn’t complain but what I paid for isn’t worth it at all. Shoutout to the staff though!!

Floors were dirty and the room smelt of smoke. No tea/ coffee making facilities provided. Towels were very worn and did not do a great job of drying, had to go and buy a proper towel.

There is a fair amount of outside noise, however the motel was spotless and our room had new furniture so was worth the payoff to me compared to other hotels locally.

Needed more pillows, had only two so couldn’t prop up in bed easily to watch tv. Def budget hotel, but the room was clean and a good shower. Coffee/creamer in morning was blah.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to be close to a horse event we were going to. This motel had great pricing and was very convenient for us. It’s right next to McDonald’s and a diner so that made it easy for us to grab food prior to the event.

Gave my non smoking reservation away, had smelly smoking room. Bathroom dirty, towels dirty, shower handle came off during shower. Mattress lop sided. Door lock missing, no lock. Woken all night with tv’s people up at 3 am, blasting music outside at 446am. Will not return.

It was good enough for a single night stay. For some reason, the address of the motel on my itinerary didn't match the actual address of the motel. That was the only inconvenience I had.

Obviously, it's great that they are pet friendly, but all the grassy areas across from the room said, "No dog pee or poop". I wasn't shown where it was and as a female, I wasn't about to go searching in the dark.

Affordable and close to the highway
This motel was pretty inexpensive and close to the highway which was perfect for what I needed. There was a squashed cockroach on the floor when I checked in. I suppose it's great that someone tried to take care of it but didn't follow through by getting rid of the cockroach when they flattened it. The bed was clean and relatively comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. I wish they had an ironing board like other motels. I would probably stay here again.

When we reported to the night manager that our heater was leaking water on the floor, he simply put towels on top of the leak vs changing our room.
When we informed him that the toilet didn't flush completely and we were worried about the high water level and fear of it overflowing he didn't even look at it.
The shower floorj was dirty and we didn't shower since we didn't have shower shoes with us.

motel was gross & $200/night! moldy shower curtain (i took pics); enough TP for maybe one person for 1 night (they knew we had 2 people 2nights) (no kleenex); fly in room, smelled of cat pee covered by a choke/headache inducing amount of peach air freshener; no coffee; no lotion; no remote for tv. cigarette burn stains on the towels. bad water pressure - maybe a 1 out of 10.

This place was nasty, clerk had no clue where my room was sent us out back, and it was out front,, ( on something) shower area full of hair. and dirt, I slept with my clothes on... if we were so tired we would of left... Horrible.. Hotels. com should be ashamed to offer this

Ok for the price
Decent for the price. We came for a wedding in the area for just one night. There are definitely some unsavory individuals that live there full time but I overall felt safe. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable but sloped down towards the head of the bed. My boyfriend and I both put our pillows at the foot of the bed and slept better that way...

Management was great, newly remodeled and, clean. Upon arriving, a person was pastout on the sidewalk, the appearance of several permanent residences of questionable character, almost didn’t stay, but glad we did. Pleasant experience and well managed.

Stayed here for two nights. Room was very barebones but clean. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Was worried about there being a lot of noise, but it turned out to be fairly quiet. Not a lot in the area but that was fine for me. Just needed a place close to the highway where I could sleep.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable and ac was cold. The TV had limited selections. No extras, not fancy, good for a quick stop shower, sleep and go.
I think my room was right about the laundry because I herd machines going. They eventually stopped when I was going to sleep.

The place was clean, quiet, and inexpensive. Pretty basic (no carpet, tiny bathroom, no decor) but the bed was remarkably comfortable and we slept well which is what we were there for.

If you are looking for a Third World experience, this is the place for you. To get to your room you had to go through a stairwell that was filthy, dirty the grounds had beer, cans, and bottles strewn about. as you enter the lobby, to the left, it looked like there was a drug dispensary window. You could see light come in through the door when it was closed. The one window curtain was broken and would not close completely so anyone walking but I could look in. And my view was an over filled dumpster.

Room had no security, Door had been previously breached, apparently several times, safety catch was broken and missing, bolt would not work properly and latch was twisted on door.
Bathroom had a hole in the ceiling from water damage or insects?
Front desk person was unwilling to offer a different room initially, after responding that we would go elsewhere another room was available, however at that point the entire security of the facility was questionable with us unable to contact the desk after several attempts.
Went to a local RedRoof to obtain a Room, a horrible experience for our short trip on 38 wedding Anniversary.
We are attempting to get Gold visa to cancel and reimburse us.

Had to call police on a stalker
I stayed here as a solo female traveler and was stalked by a perverted male guest watching me through my window. After confirming the identity of the individual by checking security cameras, the manager allowed this guest to exit the premises without repercussion. I had to file charges with Chicopee police. Although I’m happy the owner was able to provide the identity of the stalker to police, I should not have had to pursue police intervention on my own. Staying at this establishment was a mistake and I will be following up to have the manager’s inaction investigated.

I see I am not permitted to call it what it is… let me put it this way, I paid out of my pocket when it appears that others had government assistance. Bad smells kept me up all night. Only the 2nd floor was occupied as they were refurbishing downstairs. The staircase was filthy. Keep out

Read! This motel is terrible. Don’t waste your money on it. I booked 4 non smoking rooms for the Air show and I was shocked how bad the room were. The rooms smell like cigarettes and the beds are filthy. Yuck!!

Bicycles and kids shoes all over had to step over all this stuff to get into lobby, which was also dirty. Room was new and beautiful and clean. Stuff outside was bad.

Terrible, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The room was dirty and the beds looked disheveled. There were clearly people there whom live there as a permanent residence. That was not appealing to a traveler passing through. It was so bad we didn’t stay. I was so upset, I didn’t even ask for a refund….we left the keys and found another place to stay.

The staff did not recognize my reservation. I'm willing to believe that somehow the hotel did not receive the reservation, although I'm not sure why/how that happened. But even after I showed the reservation to the on-duty staff on my phone and my reservation was confirmed by two separate Expedia representatives, by phone, my rate was not honored. Ultimately, the Expedia rep agreed to pay the higher rate to the hotel and only charged me the rate that I was promised, so I came out whole and Expedia was overcharged. The difference was only $25, but it felt to me like the Motel 6 staff person was being obtuse just to extract an extra $25. From talking with the staff person "Joe," it seems clear this was not the first time this kind of mishap has happened with this property. If I were Expedia, I would "de-list" (i.e., refuse to list) this property on its app.

The room was clean and we could tell it was recently remodeled. They are in the process of remodeling all the rooms it’s seems. No big deal, however they were just throwing the trash everywhere. There was a large dumpster out front, but the workers were still just throwing trash everywhere BUT the dumpster. Kinda sad to see the styrofoam and cardboard going all over the place. The stairwell to go upstairs always smelled VERY strongly of cigarettes as well. For the money this was a good deal, but you get what you pay for lol.

booked this for a cheap quick stay. staff was super nice, everything in the room was clean and worked, didn’t have any issues of feeling unsafe, easy parking. definitely felt more like a cheap hotel than a motel

We have stayed here before and its not bad for a cheap hotel. First time we had someone walk right into our "locked door in the moddle of the night. This stay at 5am some one was playing music in there room loud enough to be understood and felt tru walls and to other side of the building... it was insane. Block party loud. It was addressed and fixed after about 30 mins. Place is dated (expected) . Lamps missing light bulbs and heater is full blast HOT or room is freezing. No in between. Half of staff was very nice , half very not. Last but not least upon arriving i had already booked and paid for my room. The gentlemen at desk asks how am i paying i told him i already paid and he seemed to not believe me , asked a again and then gave in and said have a nice day and gave me my 1 room key. Looked at me like a crazy person when i asked if i get a 2nd key. (2 people, 2keys..... never not got 2 keys at a hotel/motel. They STRESS no smoking , YET place smells like an ashtray inside . Not the worst place to stay , but plenty of better options for same price!

Aggressive and Rude
The cleaning employee took us out of the room at 10:38 a.m. asking if we paid. The employee yelled at us and told me to stay in a better hotel if i dont like it. Very aggressive and rude. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

I did not like the way the front desk man called the cops on my mother because she was too disabled to walk to the office to pay for her stay. I had been running her card to the office, and we thought we were paid an extra day. When we realized not, I was unavailable to run the card to the office. Instead of going to her room to get it, they called the cops.

Because of an office mistake and a man at the desk who can not admit there might have been a mistake on his part, my elderly disabled mother is being thrown out onto the street with no transportation or help. We offered to pay, we tried to pay, they refused to work with us in any way. I don't have access to a car to go get her.

Not up to expectations
I guess I was expecting more given what Motel 6 used to be. The room was non-smoking but, there were cigarette burns on the tub. The bathroom door was patched up, The heater was on full blast and took a long time for it too cool down. The area itself is a bit depressed which takes away from anything that may be good to see. Overall, pretty dingy and a bit underwhelming for me. I will say, Shirley, who checked me in, was very accommodating and even offered me a different room if I wanted. I'l give it a 2 out 0f 10 for that reason.

This is an old, worn-out, no-frills motel. We only stayed here because everything else was sold out. We were in town for an event and had to stay somewhere.
It's functional. We were able to get a good night's sleep, wake up, take a shower and go to our event.
In-room amenities include a TV, microwave, and a dresser with broken drawers. On-site amenities include vending machines. There's a McDonald's next door.
We had no safety concerns. Our room had hard floors and no upholstered furniture and appeared safe from bedbugs.
Cleanliness was mixed. Beds, bathroom & floors were fine. But the one wooden chair in the room had a small but very gross smudge on the seat. I guess they don't include chair seats as part of their regular cleaning routine.
We'd stay here again if we had to (despite the chair). But we'd prefer somewhere nicer.

Unable to open door. 5 different keys failed. Front desk said "keys work, you are doing something wrong" and did not offer a solution. Was about to sleep in my car, but a second employee showed up 2 hours later, found that my door lock was faulty, and fixed it.
