Definitely not as nice as the pictures. We got there and it’s in a beaten down parking lot, with apartments in the back. Trash all over the property. We were there for 4 days and they did not clean our room or give us fresh towels once. The rooms have mold growing on the baseboards and in the bathroom. Our bathroom door didn’t fit the door frame and wouldn’t close. Shower curtain had blood on it. TV would intermittently shut off.

Heat did not work. Staff wasn’t present on check in. Very sketchy situation. Got stuck in elevator, door wouldn’t open. Very scary situation to be precise.

I booked online and paid for it. When I got there they charged me $19.00 resort fee. This is no resort. It’s just a cheap motel. They didn’t have much of a breakfast and when something run out it wasnt Replaced. Breakfast was from 7-10am by 8 there wasn’t anything to eat.

Nothing is working in hotel
After I book the hotel through hotel.com I received emails saying I will pay 10 .70 cent when check in but when I try to check in they charge me 19 dollars and they forgot to give me my one dollar back when I gave them 20 dollars cash. Also I had to go from room to room bc non of the heater was working and it was so cold outside. So finally I had to use hair dryer for my hairs and I was thinking it might heat the room hahahaha But anyway the whole experience was terrible. I wouldn’t come back even if they giving free room. This hotel is totally joke

Lack of cleanliness
The bathroom door was shut and locked when we arrived. When it was opened by the staff, there was no clean towels in it which leads us to believe the bathroom wasn't cleaned. Staff put fresh towels in as soon as they noticed. My husband found the bath tub wasn't draining and when he checked there was a huge hair ball in the drain.
We also found cob webs inside the lamp shade when we turned it on.
The day we checked out a storm blowed through and our door didn't have a seal on it so rain blew inside our room leaving a huge puddle in front of the door.
Also, when we went to get breakfast, there wasn't any food.

Not comfy but doable
I booked this room on hotels.com and paid extra for the so-called ocean view. The hotel itself was actually across the street from the beach with no view of the ocean, so when I got there and found out they told me there was a view of a little inlet on the back part so I got a room there instead. I was really looking forward to being right on the beach but they didn't charge me for the resort fee at least. The people at the front desk were nice and helpful. We got to the room and Mom cut her leg a little bit on a piece of metal that was sticking out from the bed, so we called and they came to fix it. Mom said she saw a roach and killed it, I never saw it but I don't doubt her. The beds were uncomfortable but clean, the pillows were horrible and you should definitely bring your own. The toilet was low as all get out which would probably be fine for people in wheelchairs and children, but it was very uncomfortable for two tall adults. Bathtub seemed clean enough and water pressure wasn't too bad. The sink to wash your hands got really hot really fast to the point of getting burnt if you didn't turn on the cold water first and just introduce a little bit of hot water at a time. The key lock worked the whole time with the card they gave us, it was fairly quiet as we didn't have a neighbor on either side of us except for around 3:00 a.m. when I went outside to have my last cigarette and someone was banging on a door down the hall. It's close to a lot of things by the beach.

Expedia lists a resort fee due at the property. When you get to the property, they demand double. This property is NOT a resort and has absolutely zero amenities or features that make a resort a resort, so why they are even charging that fee is beyond me. And it is located in a creepy bog that makes Shreks swamp look like the 4 seasons.
The property is absolutely filthy and abhorrent. It's something you would see depicted in a movie of a Third World country. We had no other options at the time so my husband decided to try and muscle through but he didn't want to put his face on the pillowcase because there were stains all over them so he went to the front desk to ask for some clean pillowcases and the person at the reception desk said "why, what's wrong with yours?". When he told her what was wrong, her suggestion was to use a towel and place it over the pillows. There were bugs inside picture frames, the wall was rotting and exposed in the bathroom, there was pubic hair, stuck to the wall, all of the furniture look like it was purchased at a garage sale back in 1992. It was not clean in any way, shape, form or fashion and straight up, looked like a Haven for junkies and vagrants. (no offense, junkies and vagrants.) I have photographs and video of this room, and I would really love to upload them in my review. I reached out to the Wyndham chain of hotels to share the experience and I was offered 7500 points for the inconvenience. They never addressed any of the issues

I would not recommend this place. Except for the gentleman who checked us in staff was poor. No coffee in breakfast room-Staff didn’t seem concerned. More than once we went to lobby to ask question and no staff were there (sign up out to lunch). Room floor was filthy, lacked working smoke detector (detector was laying on floor), water was so hot I burned my hand, peep hole in door totally missing and stuffed with tissue.

At check in I was hit a $19 dollar a day resort fee for a non resort hotel. The hotel had no amenities only offering amenities at other hotels. The hotel itself was crusty and rusty reminding me of a 1980s motel 6 six with the attraction of being cheap. Wyndham has some explaining to do for putting its name on this disaster.

This place has been neglected for a long time. Exterior has lots of issues: peeling paint,rust,bad elevator. Elevator areas on G,3,4 were nasty and unkempt. I stayed for 2 nights. No regular coffee was available ever. Stay somewhere else. This place is a disgrace to Wyndham properties.

Not like the photos!
There are signs of remodeling, very poor remodeling. Building is showing its age. Look past the dirt and peeling paint, if you can. Bed linen was clean; breakfast is not a breakfast but the bare minimum to stay out of legal issues (false advertisement). 24 hr. coffee in lobby did not exist - oh, the spot was there, just no coffee. Wish to be disappointed, this place will do it!

Great Value
At the price point, you won't find a better deal. Its under renovation so it appears rough, and it is, but the rooms are CLEAN and the beds comfy. Great location. BS $19 "resort fee", but atill a great deal. Free "breakfast" is sketchy but heyyyy, its free! Gas station burritos and tropicana bottle juices isnt so bad. Oh! Beach access right across the street is great! And theres a bar and grill across street, so thats good. Not so sure id bring the family due to the sketchy occupants, but if solo for a night or 2 for work, sure, why not.

We will more than likely not be staying here again! The entire hotel room was super dirty the bed was insanely dirty and they just made up the bed over all the dirt. There was toothpaste and soap crusted everywhere on the sink and the back of sink on the wall. The mirror was hella dirty. My husband had to go downstairs and get a plunger and clean out the bathtub just so we could take a shower. Bugs and filth, everywhere. Not to mention hotel parties every night and loud trucks every night in the parking lot. People fighting non stop at night. My husband barely slept bc of all the noise and unsettling stuff. I went down at one point to the front desk to get towels and a change of bed clothes and the front desk attendant said yes I’ll send the post master up right away with everything that was early in the morning and no one every came up but she was being a smart ass. It was just all in all unpleasant and they don’t care to fix any situation. I was also told we could check in around 2-3 in the morning and we got there around 3:30 and had to wait until 8 am to check in after driving 15 hours that night. This hotel does not give a care about they’re customers.

Good bargain for the location. The view is perfect
Great location, friendly staff, plenty of amenities. Bed comfy, clean towels and bedding. Walls could use paint and floor could use a deep cleaning. Water pressure was a bit low.

Horrible.
My husband and I went on vacation without the kids for the weekend. We chose an ocean view room, assuming that meant a room right off of the ocean. That was not the case, it was across the street with another hotel blocking the ocean. Upon arrival we get our hotel key, go to the room and the AC did not work. We were then given another room right next door to the original room, AC worked but there were dead bugs all over the walls, covered u Dee watch the sheet was stained very badly. Toilet wouldn’t flush unless you tried flushing it 10+ times. Headboard had an inch thick of dust on the top of it. Room looked like it had not been cleaned more than just maybe changing sheets if they even did that.

This resort will not clean your room or change your linen. You will have to go and beg the front office for towels. The free breakfast is a scam. The rooms are worst than cheap motel rooms.

Mattresses were horribly hard to sleep on. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Hot water was so hot it would burn and the shower you couldn’t find a good medium between cold and burning hot. Building was very old and looked it. Our room was an ocean view and you could just barely see the horizon line. Will not be staying there again.

Well first off hotel was misleading with pictures of rooms. Most of the rooms were empty due to a bed bug infestation. The room we had was out of date. Nothing updated at all. I ordered room service and while I was eating a roach fell out of ceiling into my food I was very upset.e and my wife ended up staying until checkout but if we come back to Panama City Beach we'll will definitely not be staying here. This hotel should not be a recommendation from any site selling hotels.

Baymount by Wyndham is close to the Beach, Edgewater Shopping Center, and many different Restaurants. I enjoyed eating at Barefoot Beach Restaurant. They have plenty of free parking Their staff are friendly and helpful! Thank you for a great vacation.

I feel that both you and the hotels with which you work should give the correct information about the state of the hotel, I was in a hotel very different from the one that your photos show, full of bed bugs, torn and dirty sheets, moldy walls, corridors dirty, dirty windows, dirty bathrooms, dirty sinks, disgusting floors, in short, a disastrous experience. I will never trust this application to book a hotel. Also, when I get to the front decks, they charge me a $185 fee to use pools in other hotels (something that you, as those responsible for my reservation, do not tell me and should do so) I feel disappointed in your behavior, I will never recommend you again, thanks

Wasn't even Clean that all. Notorious paper one towel, no wash clothes. Dirt all over floor and all over counter and table. They came in at almost 11 PM when I was passed out because I've been so tired. Faymont told us to get ahold of you because they wouldn't reimburse us. Very upset, we spent $81.86. I think for this nasty room. I would like to book another room at La Quinta or run Thomas drive. I got it for $75 but didn't make the reservation yet. Do to lack of funds. Can you please help me?

This is not a beachfront motel but one side of it does face a swampy lake so they call it "waterfront." The beach is just across the street so it is extremely close; just a 2-3 minute walk and you're on the sand.
This motel needs major renovations, updates, and extensive general maintenance. I stayed on the 2nd floor, the only floor with a functioning ice maker, lucky me. Trash and cigarette butts litter the stairways and hallways and they have only 1 elevator and it is busy since it services all 4 floors.
They charge a nightly "resort fee" in addition to the room charge (you're notified of this fee at check-in) yet it has NO resort amenities.
The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean. The rest of the room and bathroom need extensive maintenance. Painting over the large wall and ceiling cracks and fixing the crumbling drywall around the toilet would be a great start.
I don't recommend staying here.

The ceiling in the bathroom was falling off in flakes. The doors had a tone of rust and the shower was a joke it had no pressure and the tub looked like someone tried to paint it but failed big time. The outside looked like a reck and the walkway to get to the room was disgusting.

Continual breakfast was late getting started, microwave sausage/biscuits were kept at room temp instead of the refrigerator. Back side where my room was was dried bird droppings on the entire back wall. Couldn’t get tv to work and they didn’t respond. Ice machines were out of order.

The motel has ac water running on the concrete floors creating balck mold. There is no place to park. You have to walk across the street to get to the pool. The room has a faint oder to it. The advertisement picture does not look like the actual place you are staying.

I was very disappointed in the overall condition of the facilities. The room was clean, but much in need of remodeling. Walls need painting, furniture replaced, lighting needs updated. Outside of building needs complete overhaul. Pictures on web site do not show true condition of building. Ice machines did not work. Coffee machine at continental breakfast on had decafe coffee. I was very upset to see employees children on premises. One even ate breakfast from the continental breakfast bar. I will not stay at this facility again. Probably will not use Expedia again, your information was not up to date.

Location was decent. Parking was atrocious. Building looked like an OSHA violation at every turn. Exterior's unfinished presentation was usurped only by the rooms lack of effort, prison mattresses, "my friend can fix anything" applications to cosmetic issues and the fact that having severe sleep apnea was made more prevalent by the power sockets closest to the bed cutting off every few hours and waking me up. When I could sleep between the rooms to my immediate left and above were rotating power saw and jack hammer try outs. I wont blame the staff, however, as I'm sure most have exhausted work visas so the owners most likely just throw as many low budget bodies at issues as they can. The beds were neat and the floor was predominately clean though, so that was an unexpected plus.

Never stay there again
The hotel room was less than impressive, no carpet on the floors. We ran out of towels on the second day, I had to re use a face towel. Management told us they would send towels to our room, never happen.

I didn't like anything. No air conditioning in the lobby. The building falling apart. Roof half on, water leaking from everywhere, broken cement, dirty, loud, and just scary looking. Nothing like the expedia pictures. I have pics if anyone would like to see.

Old blood splattered on back of bathroom sink wall. A small clump of lashes left on counter next to sink. Grit/dirt on the floor. No shower curtain in shower. 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in room.

The sink was broke when we walked in the door. Poured our child’s bottle down it to clean it and the milk came through the bottom. The men who fixed the sink used all the towels so wasn’t able to shower. Next day asked hotel lobby for my towels and didn’t receive until I went up to a maid and cart and asked her. Never put the do not disturb sticker up and left multiple times hoping they would clean our room of sand and fresh towels never did

Not as bad as I thought it would be
As 3 teens staying at pcb on a budget, this hotel was good enough. You get what you pay for. Breakfast was better than I thought and the room other than the shower being cold was fine enough. I stayed for 3 nights and it was pretty good and I didn’t have any troubles really.

Rundown, Rude, and you can’t even Bathe here.
It was absolutely horrendous. We had no hot water for 3 days. We couldn’t take a shower. We had to drive to a separate location to bathe. The beds were so uncomfortable that I wound up down in my back and had to go to a chiropractor. The front desk personnel are rude and very unhelpful. Every one of them were on their personal phone continuously. The location is run down and smells musty and moldy. There are exposed wires just run from the walls through hanging conduit. The breakfast area is unclean and too small and tight to actually get any food. There are so many things wrong with this property. The stucco is falling off, the water drips from every crevice outside so as you’re climbing the steps you get drenched. The elevator didn’t work. There are kids screaming and running up and down the corridors all hours of the night. The ice machine, which was right outside of our door, is incredibly loud and disruptive. We had to ask for toilet paper, towels, and ice buckets. Nothing was cleaned, freshened, or brought to us in a 6 day stay. The amount of money that I am out in showers, driving, gas, chiropractic visits, time, and breakfast is ridiculous and I will be remitting my complaints in a formal email.
This place is a complete disaster and I am shock that Wyndham would have its name attached in any way to such a run down, distasteful place.
I certainly won’t stay here again, I will tell everyone I know not to stay here and I will be asking for a partial refund.

Uncomfortable broke down place

The one good thing is the room was clean. The door to the room would stick. The bathroom door scrubbed the floor and had to be picked up on to try to close but would not close completely. When we got to the room the smoke detector was beeping. I called the desk and asked for a new battery and was told one would be brought and it never was. I reminded them on checkout. There were no towels in the room and when we went to the front desk and asked we were told some would be brought to us. We waited 2 hours and no one brought any. There was a cleaning cart a few rooms down that had been sitting there sometime so I went and got towels. They did not even pick our trash up or ask if we needed more towels during our stay. At check in and check out the staff was on their personal phone on speaker. I didn't feel the staff cared at all about making the guest comfortable. The first morning I went down for the breakfast and there was nothing there. I could have read wrong but I did not realize there was no pool on the actual property but was across the street and was basically a kiddie pool incorporated into the restaurant. I understand that you get what you pay for but I thought since it was a Wyndham motel it would be much better.

Elevator wasn't working - a pattern in PCB, it seems like. So my husband being disabled, it was very difficult to haul our luggage and belongings up and down the stairs. We found out about the other sister hotels that we were allowed to enjoy the amenities by our neighbor staying there when we were leaving, so didn't have the opportunity to enjoy. That was a huge front desk miscommunication. The water and drinks out front were a nice offering. My husband cleaned the drain in the tub so we didn't have to stand in other's cruddy water. Location was nice, but really wish we knew about the other sister hotels. That was a major disappointment.

The customers service was great. The property was a little dated but everything was clean. Easy access to the beach across the street. We stayed 3 days and when we asked for extra towels and wash cloth they gave us plenty. The guy at the front desk recommended that we can eat at various places and also Barefoot bar across the street. Very helpful with everything.

The front desk girl at check in was unprofessional. First room was not ocean view like I had reserved. Second room the ceiling was dripping on the bed and floor. Pictures of this place on the internet are a total farce.
Black mold on walls, toilet barely flushed, elevator was very sketchy, stains on the bedding, and overall just a dirty run down hotel.
Had to pay a $19 “resort fee” but there was no resort. You had to go across a busy street and “share” a pool with another hotel.
I felt more like I was in downtown LA than a beach town.

First room we had was nasty. shower sink was full of junk with hair same as the sink (i took a pic) carpet was still wet and not fully vacuum. I had to asked to be moved to another room because, of all of that problem and theres a smell in the room. I am so glad the front desk was able to move us to a different room.

The smell was horrendous. Will not book again. The building needs a full remodel.The room smells like they’re trying to hide something Also the room wasn’t that clean and had dirty linens outside the door I will not be booking with them again or recommending anyone to this property

The property didn't look great like it was on the pictures and we pay almost $225 per night after all the fees was included. There was a hidden fees of 28 dollars that we had to pay upon checking and wasn't include when Booking with Expedia. The hotel look very run down and old. The small water lake from the back side was so dirty looking. T.v was so small.

Not going to stay here again!
This “resort” was anything but. The building is VERY old and needs a lot of work. The pool is not available, “but you can use a pool from a different location!” They didn’t mention that the locations were quite a ways away! When we arrived the elevator was broken and I told them that without the elevator, I would be unable to stay. They said “oh, ummm… well!” My father is handicapped and they put us on the 3rd floor. I reserved 2 rooms and they literally put us on opposite sides of the hotel… the only pro was the location, we could see the beach from one of the hotel rooms. The rooms were clean, but the bath tub was peeling the paint while I was giving my kids a bath… and the resort fee is stupid!

Truly a horrible experience
This hotel is awful. There were stains on the comforter, the tub was dirty, the lamp wouldn’t turn on, and water was dripping on me from the ceiling all night. The ONLY reason I stayed was because when I contacted hotels.com upon arrival and said I did not feel safe staying here, they said their booking protection would not cover cancellation.

The pictures on the website do not remotely match the rooms. The rooms were not clean. I had to go through central booking in order to talk to anyone. When we got there to check in it took a while.

It was a horrible place. There were water droplets on the ceiling. Some would fall on us. The floor was always wet. The room was very small. The paint was chipping. The breakfast was underwhelming worse continental breakfast I’ve ever seen. The images on your site is false advertisement. It’s nothing like it. There isn’t even any restaurant on the premise as shown in their website.

Poor maintenance and terrible rooms!
Property is in an ideal location near to the beach but is in a terrible condition. Poor maintenance and lack of amenities. Room photos as depicted in the website are not at all relatable. Disappointed!

Overall, great service and great value. The parking was limited, but that's to be expected at the beach on a holiday.

This was not worth the $145 a night. Bathroom door wouldn't close well because it was swollen from possible flooding. Ceiling paint was peeling from possible past hurricanes. Hotel was very run down. Not enough wall plugs for my Cpap machines and phone chargers. Dirt was sweep behind beds. Just nasty. I will never book a hotel room through Expedia again. I was charged an additional $19.99 when checking into hotel. Of course if I could have I would have canceled the reservation but I would have still been charged. Pool on property was closed and had to drive to partner properties to swim, which was inconvenient.
