The $100 cash deposit was gard finding an ATM in safe area to use that was working. Area a little sketchy. Hotel next door is a party hotel a lot of pot smell. Be careful going to car at night.

The room was clean. However, sheets were very thin and I was cold at night, and the included morning "breakfast" was terrible, even by motel standards. I recommend to pay a few dollars more and get a safer, cleaner motel if you can.

Nice hotel with a good management
I wanted to stay on the top floor. It is the pet friendly hotel. I did not know that and saw a huge dog and a mid size dog walked into our next room in the late evening. I was very scared due to allergic to the dogs. And first time experience with the dogs encounter. But property is well built and no noise came to us over night. When someone walked in front of the doggies' room, we hears one burk. It was ok. We will be back. Day time front desk and manager are great. We thank them.

The first room I was offered had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade and wet towels were on the bathroom floor. The second room was guest ready, more or less. Not a first class experience. Affordable, but you get what you pay for.

Limited breakfast choice. Just 3 cereal, nothing else except coffee. Disappointing.
Facilities were fairly clean but carpet smelled like old cigarette smoke. Homeless people frequently seen walking around property.

I was required to place a $100 cash deposit. I did not have to do this when I stayed at the same location not even a week prior. Very uncool. Deposits on card period. Next time I will cancel and demand a full refund.

First of all, the after hours window reaked of pot and the check in girl was less than pleasant! Second, when hotels require a deposit they usually accept a debit card and if they require cash, they have an ATM on property. The website says deposit required, which I was prepared to pay...on a debit card. Told at check-in they will only accept cash. Then sent me on a wild goose chase to find an operable ATM. Then at check out, in order to get the cash back it requires an inspection to make sure there's no damage to the room. Perhaps if this is how you do business, you shouldn't be renting to shady characters that require such a policy to exist! Third, very questionable characters hanging around the parking lot. Fourth, dogs barked in surrounding rooms all night. Mattresses are old and springy! Thank goodness we were only passing through and using this place to get a couple hours of sleep... And that's all we got, a couple hours. The breakfast is a joke...Stale cereal, cold coffee, and stale pastries. A terrible experience!!!

The woman who checked us in was so nice! But our room was dirty and there were some very unsavory characters in the parking lot. All we needed to do was sleep and I guess it served it’s purpose .

Neighboring many low-end motels. My room was very nice, parking right outside my door. The bed was awesome. Staff all nice. Breakfast started at 6am, all gone quickly.
I recommend the Southern style buffet just down the block.

We will not stay there again!
First we asked for ground floor room front desk personnel said they did not have our type of room available!(king bed)
The first room given the conditioner did not work in the room!
Then we were relocated to ground floor to another room, the room keys would not light up the green to indicate door open, batteries were dead, and the wifi would not work and front desk could not do anything about it!(this room had a king!)
The ice machine was unsanitary, would not even have a thought of using.
Front deck did not apologize, until I asked for refund for our troubles which they would not give!
On a bright not the maintenance person was pleasant, and tried to help us with our issues.

Decent for the price
We were pleased with our one night stay. Friendly staff. Breakfast was not so great. Very minimal in choices. Would have liked some fresh fruit.

Our one night stay traveling home from a trip to NJ was pleasant. The location is great with an easy on/off I-95 access. There are dozens of food options, refueling options and shopping, many in walking distance. The front desk staff was professional and efficient with a speedy check in. The room was clean and tidy. The decor seemed refreshed and modern.

My room was about average , the carpet is old and dirty , the toilet is lose on the floor it needs to be pulled up and reset with new seal and anchor bolts , I would not say the area is real safe , lots of people walk around due to stores and restaurants in the area. the price I paid for the room was good.

For the price it was fine
For a one night stay ,I would use it again. It was quiet and had clean sheets . Ate a yogurt for breakfast as milk was out of date ,which they got rid of when I told them. I didn't stay to see if it was replaced. They certainly seem to make an effort . From reading multiple reviews I got better product here than all the places around that cost $20 more.

The carpet was disgusting, the bathroom walls were streaked with dirt, the stairs outside didn't look safe. Forget renovating, the motel should be torn down. Does Wyndham know about this property?

The staff was absolutely wonderful! We had an arrival time issue (we were later than expected) and they made it so easy for us! The rooms were clean and we had immediate help any time we needed anything! They also didn't give the race crowds a hard time for being outside.

Two story with no elevator (NO ADA compliance), check-in rate was $58 on-line. I was being charged $161. Wife cannot traverse stairwell. Structure looks derelict.

Not a new property, nothing glamorous but this staff does the best they can working with what they have here. No issues or complaints. Breakfast isn’t hot but the staff makes it nice, comfortable & convenient. Stayed with children & would stay again.

Pretty bad even for the price. Outside access rooms. Carpet, TV, furniture, bathroom VERY old and worn. Relatively clean, but only so much housekeeping can do with 20 year old stuff. Air conditioner loud. Two non-functional lights. Toilet ran constantly, Bathroom was small and terrible. The surfaces were superficially clean but the corners, grout (etc) were at their end of life. Shower was old and looked gross. Door to bathroom appeared to have stains on it..likely a drink that sprayed. Room smelled like smoke. I’ve stayed in other locations of this chain, and they have been (by far) much better…even at the same price. Embarrassment to Super 8 and Wyndham brands.

Nice hotel, we stayed 1 night. Room was very clean. And im super picky. We rested well. No issues. Just sketchy ppl in parking lot, Late night. We checked in a 4am. So if ur in and out during normal hours all will be well lord willing. Just late in the night after 2am its questionable. I would return here again because i was comfortable while i rested.

Place was dirty. Shower had hair in it. Smelled of cigarettes. Had two full sized beds instead of two queens as advertised. Staff was friendly and accommodating, the lone bright spot, they were making the best of a bad situation. Lite breakfast was nutrigrain bars and hotel coffee. Find someplace else

Property was outdated and surroundings were very shady.. A lot of drifters were concentrated in the area made my wife and kids a little uneasy. Soap left in tub with pubic hair. Yep.

Family stay on our way from NJ to FL. Beds were very comfortable, the breakfast simple but with good quality foods (like Activa yogurt and frosty flakes). The pool warm and clean which was nice after a nearly 10h drive.

Didn’t bother waiting
Needed a spot to stay for a few hours on my trip to Orlando. Was told they were under staffed so they didn’t have a room available for an additional 2hrs. I never stepped foot in a room I ended up driving to another hotel.

Everything as expected plus more my stay turned from 1 day to a couple of weeks and never a problem accommodating me. Big spacious rooms clean, location is convenient to plenty of restaurants nearby some walking distance. Friendly staff ànd guest. Ever in Florence area you won't be disappointed ❤️

The hotel is super rundown & didn’t seem to be in the best part of town. The bathroom was a little dirty & my daughter found hair in her bed. There are flood lights everywhere, I’m guessing to keep the parking lot safe, but our room was lit up so much it was hard to sleep. Don’t believe the 5 star reviews, I looked again after we checked in to see what I missed & noticed most of them were from the same person. It was unpleasant enough that I think we’ll just be skipping Super 8 in the future.
The one bright spot in this hotel is the staff. Kelcy helped us check in, but there were 2 others working in maintenance/house keeping that I didn’t get names for (a woman & a man). They were all fantastic & should be commended for their outstanding job performance. They were so great that I really do feel a little bad about leaving this review.

Dirty rooms and management will call you a liar
We had to leave as soon as we checked in. It wreaked of cigarette smoke my girls instantly had their asthma flare up. There were ants on the bathroom sink, stains all over the comforters of both beds, red hand print on the bathroom wall and dirty ones as well. The manager informed hotels.com that the room was clean and she will not give me a refund. Never will stay at a super 8 again or recommend them.

Fair for the budget price

I was there from Wednesday-Sunday morning. The bathroom door wouldnt shut, the coffee maker didnt work and neither did the hairdryer. No one came to clean the room at all, and i ran out of toilet paper. Not very good to have happen.

You get what you pay for. This hotel was cheap for our 1 night stay. We had 3 rooms and 1 smelled terrible. It smelled like cigarettes and dog. The sheets were also dirty. We asked for a different room but the lady at the front said there were no more rooms. The other 2 rooms were semi clean and worn down. The carpet was wet and very dirty. We were surprised the beds were pretty comfy but only 2 flat pillows per bed and the sheets were questionable. The breakfast was a joke and the pool they have displayed was not operational. I would choose to not stay here again unless I absolutely had to.

With being named, a "no frills"motel (without vending machine services,etc.) they made up with a friendly check in/front counter service from manager, Teresa M. The exterior/interior of the property was visible with upkeep and cleanliness. It was shared to feel free to reach out calling the front desk to accommodate any further needs. Website room photos are on point. Great location with multiple food eateries. A satisfied stay.
