The aqua lodges were a great different place to stay — not a typical hotel. Loved having the kitchen. Comfortable bed. Loved staying here. Didn’t know about no-see-ums in the Keys. Bring bug spray! (Not a resort issue, a Keys issue.)

We stayed in the boat houses and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious they were. The location was fantastic and close to so much. And the rest of the resort was kept up nicely. We had a great time and hope to be back again.

Peaceful and relaxing. Staff was all friendly and helpful. My family really enjoyed the stay. We even booked an extra night after we got there.

There were 4 of us and it was wonderful. Being on the water provided a view that’s unbeatable. The property amenities we liked were the free bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, the swimming pool, and the gathering area at the end of the property to see the water and kickback. Friendly staff topped the experience.

Very cool and very clean place. We saw a dolphin one morning off the back, a jelly fish and a huge manatee another day. A/C was great and place was furnished with all the essentials. Our only complaint was the shower, very poor water pressure and drained slowly as well. Other than that we enjoyed our stay for something different than a standard hotel. Would stay here again

Fun vacation rental
Staying on a house boat was lots of fun. I loved being right on the water and having a beautiful view. The loft bed was a hit and unexpected surprise. The rooms don't have a lot of space around the beds, but the kitchen/living area was roomy. Would definitely come back!

Loved it here and rented a houseboat for 4 nights with the grandchildren, enjoyed the peaceful feel of this little gem. Very clean and well stocked houseboat. Pack light and bring your own food. Great view, quiete, kid friendly

There was a hefty cleaning charge at check-in. It seemed excessive. The houseboats are pretty small. We moved a couch to see the TV, and there was food under it from previous guests. Otherwise, it was very clean. The ramp to enter is steep and not for anyone with mobility issues. The deck off the back was really nice--except when the people on either side were loud or smoking. The houseboats are really close together. We could hear the people at the pool, and the drunker they got, the more the language deteriorated. However, I liked being able to make breakfast and eat it on the deck by the water. The kayaks had no backrest, and the launch was steep. We had not stayed in a houseboat before, so we thought it was fun. You should try it.

This was one of the more unique venues I’ve had the pleasure to stay at. A houseboat hotel. Four adults and a pup and we had plenty of room. Very nice pool and small ‘beach’side area. Gorgeous sunsets, peaceful and quiet. If you are up for something a little more adventurous than another hotel room, look into the Aqua Lodges!!

Wasn’t what we expected. The “houses” were very close together with no privacy on the decks. The bathroom entrance in the middle of the bedroom was an inconvenience for everyone at night.

Great Stay and will go back again.
The units were a bit closer together than what's pictured here but otherwise accurate. The lodge was well-equipped and very clean and comfortable. The motion was barely noticeable. Our dogs were with us and they weren't bothered at all by it. There were plenty of areas to walk them.

It was really cool staying in a houseboat. We had a beautiful view to the lagoon from the porch in the back. It’s a memorabie experience. The office also provides free bikes and kayaks for water activities. The unit was very cozy. I liked it a lot although my husband felt it was a bit cramped for him.

Fun Place to Stay
Super cute accommodations in a house boat. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with all we needed for food prep. We enjoyed the kayaks too, and the peaceful setting. Highly recommend!

We LOVED the Aqua Lodge. My only suggestions of improvements would be to add a full length mirror and a more comfortable couch. The couch is horrible. Otherwise, we highly enjoyed our stay.

Awesome time.
We had an amazing stay. Everything was just as described and the staff very accommodating and friendly. Jim the maintenance guy was Johnny on the spot with repairs. our unit had just been placed and was hitting the dock but he installed additional bumpers and we had no further issues. Sunsets on the beach area were beautiful. Besides the occasional air traffic from the Airport it was peaceful and breezy. If we ever go back that way we would definitely stay again.

They over booked and we were sent to a different marina, there was nothing at that marina besides boats. It was quiet but there was nothing to do. The house boat itself was dirty and dusty.
