Amazing place !
This was fantastic! My husband and I figured we would be in the city for a work event and decided on this hotel with a balcony . This was so much more than expected! The staff were so friendly and kind , the ability to walk straight out to the beach was amazing ! Walked down to the pier and enyjoyed a delicious dinner! Great location, great staff and a new go to hotel when we are in town.

Winter at a beach area is always quiet, which suited me fine for a wind-down Me-cation.
Staff gave helpful suggestions for dining and grocery options open in January. Onsite parking and wifi added to convenience factor.

Amazing overnight stay!
Me and the husband decided to do a one the fly (kid free) overnight stay. The room was perfect. We had the ocean view room, everything was clean and we were happy to have a full kitchen!! We deemed this our new adult spot! Will be booking again soon!

The room was very nice. Just some minor discrepancies. There was no coat hooks in entry way. Refrigerator would not close properly because it was not properly size with the counter top. Had to force the door close.

Nice but dusty
We got there very late in the night so i wasn't able to see how dusty our room was. I loved the type of room being that there was a microwave, toaster and refrigerator. I hated the window treatment and really think they need blackout curtains.

The hotel did not have hot water from the time we checked in Thursday evening, to the time we checked out early at 1pm that Friday. We were told it would be resolved, to let the water run. We let the water run for hours. I missed an event because I wasn’t able to shower. I was told by hotel staff I wouldn’t be penalized or charged for Friday night stay but yet the charges haven’t been updated to reflect just one night stay.

Great experience

Decent hotel, windows dirty so it was hard to see the view while you were right on the beach, that was disappointing. Door didn't lock but they got right on it. Room could have been a bit more cleaner.

The staff was nice and helpful. Upon entering the room it had a terrible smell. We later found out that the trash wasn’t taken out the room. The front desk quickly handled the issue. Very large room and we enjoyed the balcony.

Artist staying for Boardwalk Art Fair
I was in 907B and my Saturday night was awful. Because the room shared a corridor with 907a, I could hear my neighbor exit and enter their room from 11pm-5:30am, almost hourly. I slept maybe 4 hours. These rooms shouldn’t be booked out together if the people don’t know each other. Finally after calling the front desk twice security came up and that did take care of the problem.

boardwalk resort review
no complaints about the cleanliness, lock to the slider on balcony was broken, so in theory someone could have walked in. generous size room for a couple, nice amenities in kitchen, all appliances worked as they should.

We liked having the comforts of home plus, many restaurants and shops in walking distance and the parking was very easy and convenient. The only negatives were the windows weren’t real clear and key cards not always working, especially on exterior doors.

BE AWARE of the CANCELLATION POLICY. If you booked the non-refundable trip, and cannot check in on the first night. MAKE SURE TO CALL THE HOTEL otherwise they can cancel your ENTIRE reservation.
The room is quite large and the location is convenient. There was no room service during my stay and you need to go to the front desk to get new towels etc.

707 B was horrible
The room was advertised as a special rate on hotels that come. I didn’t know I’ll be in 707B like a alternate room that’s splits living space with another room. Which mines had a side view of another hotel not the beach. I guess it’s my fault for not reading the fine print and being cheap. But with the hotel being half full in the fall. They still didn’t upgrade me. Room was not cleaned at all over the weekend. Two nights. I would never stay here again. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz. But this was pretty bad.

Place as nice. More of a timeshare spot. Could be a bit cleaner but nice overall. Decor in common hotel areas a little drab and needs some TLC. Great fir price but I did have a discount.

It was not a resort, but we had to pay a resort fee. The chlorine in the jacuzzi was overpowering. No beach chairs available. Restaurant was closed. The common spaces were worn and needed updating. No bar available. There was no place to mingle, sit around and visit. The “ dining “ area consisted of a coffee and a few tables with chairs.
We could hear everything next door. All in all not what we thought it would be. We will not go back.

Amazing ocean view but over night is a little loud (even with all doors and windows closed) if you aren’t used to city noises. Sirens all night. The resort was well kept and clean. The pool was nice and didn’t over power you with chlorine smell but the pool towels were not kept in the pool area (don’t even know where they were honestly). Staff was great, very friendly and always greeted us when we left or came back. Check in process was easy (don’t forget if you book online you may still owe the resort fees when you arrive-which isn’t much really)

Our suite was exceptionally spacious, and clean. Some areas of the property are a bit dated and could use some renovating, but largely an excellent option for those who enjoy the convenience of staying on Atlantic Ave and need a little more space.

We had a two room suite. Only problem was the heavy hotel doors to each room after coming in the hallway door. It would have been nice to be able to keep those doors open. We had to prop them open with heavy items when we in the rooms.
We also got very frustrated with the card keys. You get separate ones for entry to the building and entry to your rooms, but they are all plain white and easy to mix up.

In a nice convenient area, great view and walkable to everything with beach front access. Is a little loud at night with the concert series happening but quieted down after it ended. Parking garage is a little tight but it’s doable. Property was very nice but they certainly will kick you out of the room on time. Check out is 10am and they were already in the room stripping the bed at 9:30 when I had left to bring stuff out to my car. Would’ve liked those 30 minutes to be able to check to make sure I had everything

Super convenient and close to everything. Downside was it is a busy area. There was loud music playing all night most nights pretty late. We even had a guy breakdancing with a boombox at full blast until 2am our first night right outside the hotel on the walkway.

They stay was good. We were able to pre-register and park to go to the beach while waiting for check in. The only downfall was only 1 of 2 elevators was working so the wait time was aggravating and it was faster to walk the 6 flights of stairs.

I really loved the staff they were soooo nice I didn't like that the elevator was not working at first but they fixed it I don't like that you can't check in until 4pm and you have to checkout at 10am which i think is to early The room was nice and very clean Parking was a little tight but i found a spot in there garage

The room I booked was to be oceanview with a kitchen - remember Villas are part of the name. While we could see the ocean we were assigned a tiny "closet sized" room - left most baggage in the car since it was so small there was no place to put it. We are looking at other buildings south of this place. No balcony. Very disappointed, will never return.

We really enjoyed our stay in the 2-bedroom suite (a studio and 1-bedroom connected by an entryway). It was our home for a week and had everything we needed. The full kitchen allowed us to cook many meals and store leftovers from our nights out. There was a separate dining area. The large living room had great views of the beach and pier. Each bedroom had its own bath and tv. It was on the beach/boardwalk, so it was easy to get outside every day. There were many dining, shopping, and entertainment options an easy walk from the property.
The staff was friendly and willing to help. We received a call the night before our stay with a reminder of our check-in time and an opportunity to ask questions. We opted in to texts from the hotel and received 2 messages checking on our satisfaction with our stay and 1 that reviewed check-out information.
We did not pay extra for garage parking or internet access but there is a resort fee. There were lots of extras like an activities/crafts room, coffee bar, free laundry, and pool towels.
Since this is a home-away-from-home, there is no daily housekeeping. Towels can be exchanged when needed. There's a trash chute on each floor and extra bags are supplied. We didn't see any recycling bins but there are lots on the boardwalk. The kitchen appliances and laundry machines were modern.
The property has a vacation club. I received 2 calls with offers to attend the presentation. Neither caller was high-pressure.
We would definitely stay again.

My room was tiny but I was okay with that since I was there less than 12 hours. Sons room was bigger and had a balcony. Some machine started running at 6 am. It was like a loud blower or air conditioner on the street level. The $200 deposit per room under the same reservation was a surprise. No mention of a deposit on the website. I expected a deposit, but not $200 per room. Check out is 10 am. Late checkout is 11 am. And they knock on your door at 1005 am wanting to come into the room even though you requested late check out. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Oh huge bathtubs to soak in if you had the time. We didn’t.

Very Disappointing
We were very unsatisfied with the cleanliness and upkeeping of our room. Hair was still in the bathrub and inside the sheets and on one of the pillows, still had dry toothpaste in the sink!! Ac/Heater was leaking and had signs thatvit had been for sime time!! Door to balcony was extremely heavy and almost impossible to open. Neither the kids or my wife was strong enough to open and the handle was rwalky messed up from others also struggling to open the sliding door!! We had a lit higher expectations for the resort, especially paying over $400 a night!!

This property is not a resort by any means. Staff was rude, amenities included an indoor pool with one shared bathroom. Outside rinse was broken, restaurant not open. Halls all had a terrible smell and extremely outdated. The $300 security deposit (that’s not mentioned) says a lot about the clientele they bring in. I was told it could take over 10 days to get it back and If I don’t to call my bank because the hotel can’t help!
Our “two bedroom suite with a queen bed” was two guest rooms that you needed keys to enter every time and full beds. You also were responsible for taking out your own trash. I called and asked for a toiletries kit and they told me to come to the front desk. Then could only find a razor. Property located in a non-kid friendly part of town and if it looked like this in the off season I can only imagine. Hilton should be embarrassed.

Not bad but construction next door
The ocean view rooms are from the side of the building so it isn't a great view. Our balcony overlooked the new piere being built and a pizza place along with all the other buildings. We could see the ocean but not what we were expecting. We woke up to the men working at 7am. Also, work was being done on the exterior of the hotel. They don't clean the room during your stay. If you need more towels you are supposed to leave the dirty ones outside your door and they will leave clean ones in a bag. It wasn't an issue for us for a couple day stay but something to consider if you stay longer.
If you have kids be sure to check the hot water. The hot water was extremely hot instantly.
The pizza place next door was amazing for just a simple pizza and with great service after a long drive. The barbecue place across the street was decent. It was a bit dry and not really warm but we were there at the end of the day so we would try again. Partially because the service. The guys working were really nice and helpful describing the different sauces when my daughter wasn't sure which to choose.

Our suit was amazing! And the view of the ocean was spectacular. I came to run the marathon and we were just under a mile away from the starting line which wa s perfect for a warm up and cool down. My son loves the pool since it was too cold to go in the ocean

Amazing! Friendly staff, activities, easy parking, no wait elevators, and a huge room well stocked in the kitchen and bath. No want for extra towels and linens theyre in your room. Bed and furniture very comfortable. Great view, next to the pier and beach. CLEAN pool clean everything.
