It had high scores and close to the location I wanted to visit. It was not the most luxurious hotel but fair, they had a huge external renovation in Mid Nov.
Excellent Breakfast included in the price. The area is industrial, need to walk 2 miles. I would stay there again.

This is my choice of hotel in Boston/Billerica area whether business or travel. Last time I was there, they were in the process of remodeling the lobby. Very nice and clean.

Much to like.
We liked the front desk staff--friendly and efficient with check-in. Much better-than-average breakfast menu. Easy parking. Room large and clean; good shower. Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Area very nice, easy access to where I was going. Staff not friendly , did not stock room for 3 people (which was clearly on reservations) rude when we asked for supplies, towels pillow, blanket, and toilet paper. Oh and spoons!

Great but noisy
Check-in was a breeze! Front Staff were great. But this was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in (inside). You can hear everything above, beside and outside of the room. Walls and floors were creaking while people are walking in the rooms above! Stay in the highest floor, if possible. Very clean though.

Very nice Hampton Inn
Typical Hampton Inn. Large room with a king size bed and a sofa bed in the living room area. Lots of electrical outlets, nice bathroom, kitchenette area with a coffee make and a refrigerator. Very good breakfast. Set back from the street, so quiet at night.

Very nice hotel, could have better pillows!
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Only "complaints" are that they could have better pillows (I'm a fan of Holiday Inn and Choice Hotels pillows), and the noise you can hear between rooms was somewhat surprising for a newer hotel. Overall a great value and I will happily stay there again on my next trip to the area.

Very disappointed. We chose this property for the pool. When we got there, the pool was green, full of mold, and full of dirt. Totally unusable. They shouldn’t advertise a pool. This pool was the grossest pool I have ever seen.

Wow! What a great experience!
Truly, the best service I have ever received from any hotel! The staff goes above and beyond! There is not one experience with the staff that was bad! The rooms were immaculate and the food was excellent! I am so grateful that we were able to stay here and I will be back because of the service we received!

The hotel is basic, but gets the job done. You have to request housekeeping, which is annoying. Overall clean, but the tub was rusted, so it needs a bit of work. It was mostly clean, but I think the tub could have been scrubbed better. The staff are not attentive. NO FREE WIFI...YOU HAVE TO SIGN UP TO BE SOME TYPE OF MEMBER WHICH IS OBNOXIOUS!

Great budget option for a stay in Boston area. Quiet and tidy. We stayed 4 nights with 2 teenage kids who enjoyed pool and fitness room. Rooms spacious and somewhat modern. Creaky ceilings give away the age of the place but it has been kept well and is being updated. Cleaning service by request which is actually great because it reduces waste. Good breakfast with plenty options. The biggest negative is the use of paper and plastic at breakfast - please consider real dishes and cutlery! The waste bin must be full every day. Additional recommendation is a charging station. Overall, good place.

Was in a room on the third floor and the noise from the 4 th floor was very loud…heard every step, creek and item dropped on the floor; heard everything at all hours.

It’s under construction and only one elevator worked. We had to ask two separate days for pillows for the pill out couch and extra towels. The bar in the shower was barely attached. It was fine and served our purposes.

The room was nice and the staff was very kind. The breakfast was pretty decent with a few warm options as well as fruit, yogurt and pastries. They have coffee available all day and my kids loved that they had cookies in the afternoon. There was comstruction while we were there but it never inconvenienced us or caused any noises that we noticed.
A few cons:
We arrived at 2am and needed milk for my daughter. We purchased one from their hotel store. It had been expired for over 4 months. We brought it back and all the others had similar dates. The staff member went to the back and got us a cup of milk and pulled the other milks off the shelf. Im just grateful I noticed because it wasnt slightly expired, it was well beyond expired.
They only clean your room on the 5th night. You can request they come replace towels and take out your garbages which we did on day 3. We expected day 5 would get vacuumed floors but we were wrong. So dont expect a fully cleaned room. (We stayed 8 nights)
They only give 4 towels for a room that "sleeps 6". Our family of 5 had to ask often for more towels. They always brought them up within a short amount of time but it would be nice if they gave a matching amount of toweks to people staying.
Overall it was a great experience and we would stay there again. None of our issues were major, all the staff was helpful and it was a great location for what we needed. Its about 40 mins from Boston, Salem, the beach, etc.

Everything was good, would stay again.
Most important is the place was very clean. The room was spacious, much larger than other nearby hotels where the rest of our family stayed that weekend. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good the usual buffet when hotels give complimentary breakfast.

Unhappy with Hotel.com
The hotel is wonderful and the staff is super helpful. But I am completely disappointed with custom service at Hotel.com (or Expedia). My reservation was messed up and the check-in process ended up costing me 2 hours. Both the Hampton Inn Staff and I talked to the Expedia custom service but the communications with them were extremely poor. Very frustrating

I am a very picky traveler and have NOTHING but great things to say about this hotel. I read reviews and if there is ONE complaint of bugs or uncleanliness, I’m out! Our room was clean, super clean and literally brand new. The hotel was in construction but you’d never know. It was so quiet. Staff was nice, breakfast was GREAT! Whoever the manager is is doing a great job!

We only spent one night at this property but the hotel staff at check in/out was very friendly. The room was very clean and the free breakfast they offer was good. They had 1 gentlemen taking care of the breakfast area making sure everything was restocked. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We were not given the room I booked and was not offered anything to compensate. Not even being sorry. The staff was quite abrupt in answering questions. Only half of the channels for cable was working. The hotel was having renovations done which created extra noise. The bed was less than comfortable, pillows were flimsy and thin, and the sheets were not big enough for the bed.

Poor service and not worth the stay
Hotel is not a even 3 star I wish i could give 0 star. The room were not clean and are not how they are described. When i booked the room it said queen beds but the beds there were double. The sofa bed was not comfortable it was old and you can feel the springs when you sleep. When we check in the room was not clean. Even the breakfast need to be updated. We had requested no pork but what ever was there had pork. House keeping is not done everyday anymore. Covid is over now and we at normal. Hotel should be cleaning properly. When ask for extra blanket and pillow it was not offered. Hampton is no longer a 3 star hotel..more like 1 star

Hope you like the smell of wet dogs!
The first room we were checked into smelled like a wet dog and dog urine. The second room smelled like air freshener covering the smell of dog. My pillows stunk. I slept without one. What a total dump. No more Hampton Inns for me.

A lovely stay that is worth the price
My stay here was very pleasant. The continental breakfast had a nice variety each morning. The freshly baked cookies and coffee in the lobby was a nice surprise. The room was also very beautiful. The bed was so comfortable that it was tough to get out of bed. I will definitely stay here again.
