Cool, Comfort, Perfect Location
Highly recommend rooms facing the Empire State Building, a cocktail at the rooftop bar is a can’t miss, along with the breakfast menu. COMFY beds, spotless and beautiful bathroom…Archer is now our go-to. You can get anywhere from this central location.

This trip was a girls getaway to see the Christmas decorations. Our stay was wonderful! The Archer is in a very walkable location to all shopping and popular sites. The staff was beyond helpful, they truly made you feel like a guest. The room was clean, comfortable and great views. I would highly recommend the Archer for your stay.

Our stay was awesome! Very close to times square, broadway, central park etc but not in the mix of chaos. The staff was extremely friendly upon arrival and when we checked out. I would highly recommend Archer!!

Great value
Our room was very clean and neat, although much smaller than expected. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, and service was excellent. The location is terrific.

Loved the Archer Hotel, perfect location for our New Year break in New York. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful, the room was perfect for us, very comfortable and away from the noise of Manhattan

Staff was very friendly, and we loved the breakfast options. We got a no-view room at the back, which was quiet and perfect for us. Small room, but that’s standard for Midtown at these prices...a chair in the room would have been useful, and the sink shower could use a bit of checking. Walking distance to some of the classics (Bryant Park, Rockfeller Center, Empire State Building...). We had a lovely time!

Great location for walking all of the sights! Hotel staff very friendly and helpful! Surprised the hotel was not decorated inside for the holidays. Rooms are super nice and well appointed! I paid for a view of the Empire State Building, which I got, but the windows were terribly filthy! It was an excellent stay! I would return.

Great hotel
This is a lovely hotel in a prime location - you can virtually walk to all of the attractions from it with ease. Yes the rooms are quite small but it’s fine and the staff are absolutely fantastic - warm, welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay here again

Easy check in and Scott, daytime manager, is fantastic and helpful. He moved us to a higher level floor with a better view since the original room our view was obstructed.

The hotel is in a prime spot near walking distance to Broadway shows, Time Square and subways.
The manager, Scott, was very accommodating and moved us to a room with a better view. Front staff very friendly when you come in and out of hotel.
I will definitely stay here again!

Weekend in the city
Only downside was the room we got was small. We didn’t need much space but it was no more the a foot of space around the king bed.
The sky bar has a beautiful view south and the Empire State Building.
Overall we enjoyed our trip tremendously and the staff and hotel were welcoming

Amazing hotel.
The Archer Hotel was fantastic. Location was great. Everyone who worked there were kind and helpful. Food was amazing. Room was brilliant (1904). We didn’t get everyone’s names but Jonathon helped us with the suitcases and taxi upon checkout and he was very professional, kind and helpful. Thanks to everyone.

Rooms were clean but small. The staff initially made almost no plans for the NYC marathon, and only after discussing it with the staff, did they set up coffee at 5 am. Suggest next year a plan for coffee and light breakfast starting at 5 am to accomodate runners catching the bus at 5:30 am.

This was a perfect NYC location to have direct access beyond the front door to the heart of the city and all its energy but quiet and elegance when you are in the hotel. Really enjoyed the quality of the furnishings and the choice of dining options. The rooftop Spyglass was a great intimate indoor / outdoor bar option for brunch (available Sat and Sun). Service by all areas of the hotel was exceptionally responvive.

This hotel was SO nice! I'm really happy that I decided to stay here instead of the usual chain hotel. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom is really luxe. The hotel staff are also incredibly nice, and since I was on the top floor, I heard none of the NYC traffic. It was awesome

Very nice! The people are wonderful. Scott took care of us at every step! Thank you! Really close to everything you’d want to get to in Manhattan, and very close to many public transit stops so you can get to where you need to be. “City view” was not quite city view and rooms were small. But overall, I’d stay here again

We thought the staff was professional, and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The location of the room was very convenient. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful. However, we were given conflicting times and weren’t able to eat there. We did eat breakfast in the lobby and it was delicious.

Our second time staying at this hotel! Walkable distance to Times Square and Broadway. Lots of food options, shopping and excellent rooftop view of the Empire State Building. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. No complaints!

Disappointing service and room
The room had a broken door and we struggled with the lock to get it fixed. Issues with opening it from the inside (safety issue)
The AC was incredibly loud and got worse as the stay went on. Had to call someone to look at it but they were not able to fix it.
Hotel were not accommodating nor offered a replacement room or any compensation for these issues despite the high price we pay for a stay at The Archer.
A very disappointing stay.

I always stay here as it’s right in midtown, the only think I wish is they Don’t have room service and that is something like. They have a rooftop bar and a restaurant downstairs. Everyone here is very helpful and professional.

This was a lovely hotel, but my particular room was a little awkwardly arranged and as it was an adjoining room and the guessed next door where having an argument for much of the evening, it was noisier than I’d like.

Fantastic hotel in the center of midtown - super walkable to so many places. Hotel had a great New York vibe and a fantastic bar looking at the Empire State. Rooms were cozy but very clean and modern. Bathrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. We loved our stay and would absolutely return again!

NY extended trip with over 9" of rain!!!
Wonderful stay!!! with a typhoon type storm upon us??just off the boat (get off!!!) reached the Archer very early excpecting just to drop off bags?? but a room was available and was given to us...thank you so much!! but the winner... the bed ohh so so comfortable!!!

Loved this hotel! First time staying there and we were so thrilled by it. The rooms are terrific and filled with storage (under bed drawers were 👍) and all the hooks were so helpful. Have to say the in room nespresso with different coffees and creams as well as the daily treats were so unexpected but SO appreciated. We travel to NYC every year for a 5 day trip, we will definitely be staying at the Archer again.

Great location in NY, easy to get around from here.
Hotel was clean, rooms were perfect and had an amazing view of Empire State.

The service at the hotel was great. The rooms although cosy were very clean and house keeping does a great job. The drinks and the food were great at the hotel. Location wise, the hotel was close to everything. Scott the manager is very accessible and willing to help make your stay great. He did that for me by being very attentive and responsive. He was also open to suggestions.

Just an ok stay
It was just ok. A solid B. Typical small room in NYC. Had a window but zero view. Housekeeping came daily which is appreciated but very late in the afternoons. It would be nice for the price to at least have daily complementary water in the room. They didn’t do anything for us to want to chose to stay here on our next NYC visit.

Stayed for 2 nights when we came to the city for a show to celebrate our anniversary.
Easily walkable to the show, but far enough away from the Time Square craziness.
We took the train in from Baltimore too, easily walkable from Penn Station too.
Nice rooftop bar with great spot for pictures of the Empire State Building. We made a reservation to have drinks and some light food before the show. They saved us a perfect table and sent over champagne for our anniversary
Room is small, but what u expect in NYC. But very clean, great view of Empire State Building from our room too. Room was great overall

This boutique hotel totally lived up to my expectations. Our queen bedroom was nice and cozy, very quiet at night, super convenient location near Bryant Park and not far from Grand Central. We had breakfast at the bar, loved my smoked salmon eggs Benedict and the avocado toast. The rooftop bar was so nice and so was the drinks and the skyline view. Definitely will stay here again on our next visit to NYC.

this is in the centre of manhatten, walkable to most location that u want to see, and near the underground railway too. but the room is really a small one, the claimed 300sq ft, i think only if the space you see above (around 20 ft celiing) is counted, ie room is around 150sq ft. A double bedroom, with 2 queen's bed, only left space for 1 luggage to open at one time. Some luggages had to put in the space between the bed and wall/ window, or under the bed. So u can imagine. But the room in general is clean, the bed sheet and blanket, u felt that this was clean.

Wonderful staff, beautiful property, lots of seating areas, quick elevator rides up and down from your room, close to a lot of tourist attractions- overall an amazing experience! I even had a perfect view of the Empire State Building from my room! Thank you to everyone at The Archer Hotel!
