Staff are friendly and helpful with quick check-in and out. View of Diamond Head, the ocean and flamingos at the zoo was amazing. Beds are very comfortable with room service every 2nd day. Rooms are very small with nice balconies, fridge and microwave. 2nd floor laundry room. Refreshing water both cold and hot on main floor all day. ABC stores and restaurants nearby. Some problems with main floor coffee machine offered most mornings.

Staff were great, location was good, property is old and our room with a city view was a disappointment, although clean is was very small, no usable balcony or view. Like most hotels in Hawaii it’s in need of an update.

Perfect winter trip!
Very friendly staff. Very convenient location. We were able to walk to everywhere. My favorite thing was to get some coffee from the machine in the lobby and watch the sun rise on the beach. I had a pool Lani room. It was nice to have my own dedicated space at the pool.

The hotel is old and dirty. I paid to upgrade my room because it was dirty and run down only to find more of the same. It was gross. You can also feel the springs in the beds and they did not change the sheets over a five night stay. Theyre.response to me is that they can charge what they do because they are close to the beach and have views. Finally, this is a very noisy location and the old windows and doors let all the noise se p in.location and the old the nois.not chang

Views of diamond head and the beach…just beautiful
We love Park Shore. We had an amazing view of Diamond head and the beach. It’s was our second time here after visiting in 2017 The rooms are a little dated now but the staff are lovely, helpful and welcoming. If you’re looking for somewhere you can just walk out and you’re on the beach, away from the busy strip, park shore is it.

Excellent location (assuming you like frontline Waikīkī). The hotel is on the less populated end of Waikiki and the views of park and ocean are great. The valet attendants try to convince you there is NO parking nearby and u should pay $50/day for valet. Park for free at the Waikiki Shell area! Totally safe, was available 7 of 9 days, and a block away!
Hotel is good, rooms quite small, but nice, housekeeping every other day is attentive. Staff was very good. Exercise room nice, but very small… probably only 4 people max. Overall pretty good, but maybe not great value for $400+ per night.

The property itself was fantastic. There was a lot of external noise from cars passing but this has no reflection on the property itself. Staff were amazingly friendly and could not do enough to keep us comfortable. We had an amazing stay here and i would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff.

Literally steps away from kuhio, waikiki and queens beach. The view of the mountain and ocean is amazing. It took us exactly 4 minutes to go and see the fireworks at kuhio beach for New Years Eve from our hotel room. Amazing hotel! We loved our stay here 🌺 Mahalo Park Shore

I enjoy being at the end of Waikiki across from the park and away from the High Rise Metropolis of huge hotels. Nothing better than to start your day with a nice morning walk to the Diamond head Lighthouse then hitting the beach!!

Staff was very nice. Rooms could use an update. A lot of dust around smoke dectector, sprinklers. Rooms had no sitting area. Have to ask for fresh towels or they are not replaced. Room service is every other day so a bigger waste basket and an extra roll of toilet paper would be nice.

The hotel and rooms are a bit old and tired and could use a refresh likely. The entrance/foyer are very nice.
The staff are attentive and excellent. The resort fee seems very high for what little amenities you get with it.
I hated that I had to pay so much for parking AND had to essentially have the valet/bellmen park and retrieve the car each time I wanted to come and go. (I was there for a week long work trip and this got tedious coming and going multiple times a day plus any evening/night excursions I wanted to do, since you feel compelled to tip each time.)
Dining options IN the hotel were very limited but since there are many eateries and options all around the hotel, this did not become an issue. If you wish to eat at the one restaurant inside the lobby (the Japanese restaurant), you must make reservations at least a day in advance, if not more.
The location was super convenient with the beach directly across the street and within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The wife loves the Zoo, also across the street during our stay. She was able to take advantage of the three free item “rentals” of beach chairs, etc a couple days of the week although having to have all items returned by 5:00 pm was a bit of a bummer as you’d like to sit out on the beach on a chair and watch the sunset, but she made it work.
Overall the hotel and rooms could use a refresh but the staff are friendly, attentive and mostly make up for the shortcomings.

Had a great time at this hotel. The view from our ocean view room and balcony was awesome. All good dining and shopping spots are within a 20 minute walk. Free use of beach towels, beach umbrellas, floaties, chairs, etc. is a great perk. The is a small gaming area near the front desk with a pool table, foosball, etc. as well if you want to kill some time. There’s also a free water filter near the front desk which is very convenient. Concierge is very responsive and our maintenance requests were promptly resolved.

The location is amazing, walking distance to the beach and shopping avenue closeby.
We could see bus stop right across. Area seemed really safe. We stayed in a room with ocean view and it was a fabulous view. Room was average size and room service was decent.
Cons:
Very expensive valet parking fees. There was no option of self-parking so valet parking was the only option which was equal to rental car fee. So whoever is planning to stay here, please keep budget for exorbitant parking fee and resort fee. Despite the resort fee, they charge extra if you want a crib for baby.

Room was not like photos. Tiny. Forced to upgrade. Resort fee is a sham. You get greasy sunblock that smells strongly of bad tropical perfumes and gives you body acne. Oh and the pool was dirty with multiple dead bees laying close to the edge- as someone who is allergic to bees, I found this to be unacceptable

We had stayed at the Park Shore Waikiki when we visited two years ago, so we thought we should go with what we know. We had had a better room then, but this time was still pretty good. It became really busy with a high-school band for the Pearl Harbor parade; the old elevators could hardly keep up.

The hotel is very nice, rooms are clean & spacious, it’s very well sound-proofed (never heard any neighbors, which is extremely rare in hotels), and the staff is extremely nice and helpful.
The only big issue is that the wifi is awful. Even loading email was difficult, very regularly (I stayed 9 nights).
If they can fix the wifi issue I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well located in front of Waikiki beach. The gotel fee allow us to rent beach gear for free, which was very appreciated. But the wifi wasn't functional, too slow. Small room but great view , especially for the price.

Beware of roaches.
I stayed at this hotel in August of this year. The location was great, and the lobby was gorgeous, which was the best thing about the place. However, the rooms were shoddy, and a roach infestation was near our fridge. I only noticed once I spotted a few crawling over my luggage when I went to the restroom in the middle of the night. Thankfully, the hotel staff helped us switch rooms, but I still couldn't sleep peacefully, knowing roaches were roaming about. While I wouldn't mind other bugs like spiders, ants, or even geckos in my room, I deeply hate roaches.
Moreover, the rooms were incredibly damp, and I never felt clean while I was in there.

Over priced , felt like I was staying at motel 6. Location considering was ok , it’s on a main strip. Room very small no coffee pot provided the refrigerator didn’t work had to call house keeping for another. Overall would never stay there again very un satisfactory.

Location is excellent. So close to the beach, restaurants and Waikiki center is close but not in the thick of walking traffic. Highly recommend this hotel. I had a problem with my sixth floor room and they moved me to the 18th floor with amazing views of Diamond Head and the beach! Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Park Shore was amazing!
We had a wonderful time at the ParkShore! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful! We wish we would have read the print out handed to us at checkin advising all the discounts provided during our stay, we didn’t see it til the night before but that’s our fault! So read the hand out! Location was amazing! View was spectacular!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was good value. The staff was friendly and attentive. There were good amenities: sunscreen, after sun, water bottle refill station, fresh ground/brewed coffee in the morning, insuite we had unlimited, Hawai’i-smelling body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. We were provided with free beach chairs and umbrella as well as flotation devices. Yoga on the beach and telescopic star gazing on the pool deck. ABC store downstairs and a great beach/sunset view open air restaurant (Lulus) with a hotel discount. Make sure you stop by Tucker and Bevvy downstairs for great sandwiches and smoothies.

We stayed here for 7 nights in November for my mums birthday. I did a lot of research into hotels for this trip, and soon found out hotels in Hawaii are NOT cheap lol. I stumbled across Park Shore Waikiki on Expedia and I am so glad I did.
We absolutely LOVED this hotel. The location is phenomenal, it’s on the corner of the main strip near the zoo, and has THE BEST view of Diamond Head and the beach! We really loved that there wasn’t a hotel next to us, so our view was just pure, unobstructed ocean!
We got 2 ocean front king rooms for my partner and I and one room for my mum, and they were awesome. The beds are extremely comfortable, great pillows, great bathroom, lovely balcony with a beautiful view - everything was just perfect.
The pool was fantastic, loved that we could get food delivered to the pool deck (and our room) from Lulu’s next door (which is delicious by the way).
Park Shore Waikiki is close to everything, great ABC store attached to it, next to a Starbucks and Tucker & Bevvy - I really can’t fault this hotel. Excellent value for what we paid and all of the staff were so lovely.
I highly recommend this hotel, it’s inexpensive and you’ll be glad you picked this one. If we ever visit Hawaii again, we will be staying here!

Great location and beautiful views
This was the perfect location for us at the end of the strip of hotels facing Waikiki Beach. Across the street from the Honolulu Zoo, our room had an unobstructed view of Diamond Head, the park, and the beach. The room was a little dated and on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and the room had all that we needed for a comfortable 4-day stay. I would definitely stay here again. There is a roof-top pool (3rd floor) and a decent casual restaurant/bar on the second floor (LuLu's Waikiki) with open air views of the beach and the best Mai Tai I have ever had. There are 2 other restaurants and a Starbucks in the hotel, and plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping nearby. The resort fee includes the use of beach chairs, towels, and toys for the beach across the street.

Breathtaking views and amazing service
Service, friendliness and helpfulness at the front desk from start to finish was incredible! View from the very comfortable room, with great bed and strong shower, was utterly breathtaking. Superb position opposite the beach and right next to the park with awesome views of Diamond Head and the sunset. Japanese restaurant in the lobby has the freshest and tastiest fish I've ever eaten prepared by Japanese masterchef. Loved my stay here!!

Amazing location to the beach
Amazing location. Had a corner view room facing the ocean and a side view of Diamond Head. The view was unbeatable. The location is right across the street from the beach. 6 min away walking to the left was barefoot cafe, which was so good we ate there twice. They give you free sunblock in the lobby and beach towels. There is a rental company that supplies you with certain beach rentals (up to 3 per day) but they also cater to the other hotels in the area and you have to get there early (a few doors down the road) in case things run out. Only thing was that the condition of the rooms is still a bit outdated, but the bed and linens were soft and clean, white down comforter and pillows. Would definitely come back!

This is a great hotel with lots of free amenities that include everything you need to take to the beach! This hotel sits immediately across the street from Waikiki Beach so its a quick and easy walk. Lots of restaurants and shops right next door. The staff were super nice and helpful. I have literally no complaints. Our room was small but it was ok, since our view was so spectacular (top 18th floor, ocean view!). Just be aware of the size of your room if that is whats important to you. Also know by no means was this a luxury hotel so if you are expecting luxury its not the hotel for you but it is a great hotel nonetheless and i will 100% book here on my next trip.

I loved this hotel! It has a convenient store, coffee, and a restaurant. In a great spot with impeccable views. My only complaint is that we booked a corner room specifically with 2 balconies. The ocean view balcony was my favorite thing ever. Absolutely gorgeous and very roomy, we stayed out all the time. The other balcony - not even a balcony. It was seriously a window (that didn’t open) with a foot long “balcony” that you couldn’t even access. Don’t pay extra for this. But other that it was a 10/10 experience and we would stay there again.

Loved our stay, was nice to walk back from the loud street areas near Dukes etc. and hotel was super friendly and awesome to get umbrellas etc. Only thing from from 5 star was our room carpet or aircon had a midew type of smell. We didnt stay in room much or use aircon whole trip, by choice as we like fresh air. But i think the carpet needs replacing with tiles or air con cleaned was very dusty. Also the hotel perfume was a bit strong for me in the lobby and a needs to be further from air freshner as I almost choked while getting cash out, probably good thing so I didnt spend too much!

Location was great across from the beach on the east end of Waikiki. Comfy beds, clean small well laid out room. Housekeeping was awful. Every other day but never showed up until the day before we left. Had to call for service. Be aware of the daily $46 resort fee and $48 parking fee. If you keep your expectations in check, you will likely enjoy your stay.

We stayed at Park Shore for 8 nights. The first night we stayed on the 4th floor and it was a run down room but the balcony view was fabulous. The noisy neighbors and and the people at the people at the pool were insany loud. I think they had a birthday party going on. We didnt get much rest but again, the view from the balcony was great and made the stay doable. The next day we moved to a poolside room which was what our main reservation was for. We were leary about it with all the chaos there feom the day before but thankfully the noisy group were gone. The rest of the week we had a relaxing and beautiful stay with courteous other guests that made the stay wonderful. Staff was amazing, conveniece of shops, restaurants, etc around us was amazing. We will be back and we look forward to it. Mahalo to the fabulous housekeepimg staff! I only got to speak with a couple of the girls but they were so nice!

I have stayed at Park Shore several times. The property is ideal for relaxing. The staff are attentive and friendly. The pool area is well maintained and very quiet compared to similar properties. The location is perfect for visitors without a car. Everything is in walking distance.

Lovely stay but needs improvements
We were on the 10th floor in an ocean front suite. The view to Diamond head and Waikiki beach was amazing. The staff were very friendly and always smiling and accommodating. Loved the location, not in amongst the hectic-ness of Waikiki but a few minutes walk away. Pool was lovely and spacious compared to other Waikiki hotels where you feel like a sardine.
We would definitely stay here again, however a few things need improving: Please sort out your fire alarm. Going off in the middle of the night for no reason a couple of times a week is unacceptable.
Housekeeping needs to pay more attention to hallways and public areas near elevators.
Wifi is terrible, but being on holiday it’s not a necessity
I understand the resort fee - everywhere has one but only servicing rooms every other day along with the other issues listed above do not justify this charge.

My wife and i stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary and we were on the 15th floor with a great view. The hotel left us a bottle of champagne in our room which was a lovely touch.The room was very clean and all of the staff so very friendly and helpful and always smiling.You cant beat the location, accross from the beach and close to lots of shops and restaurants.The pool is awsome with a view of the ocean as you swim. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! Lovely open air entrance, free beach towels, chairs, sunscreen and other beach needs. WiFi included in price is not true of all hotels. Bed and pillows were comfy and Starbucks right next door! The restaurant, Lulu’s is a relaxing, open air gem. Everything we ordered was delicious. Recommend the avo toast, coconut shrimp and bloody Mary’s. The fish sandwich was excellent. Room was pretty basic but had frig and microwave. We would stay again for sure.

Great location, close to so much and across the street from the beach! Super friendly staff and short wait for valet to retrieve the car. Definitely would stay here again!

Everything was very pleasant until the false fire alarms continuously going off in the middle of the nights. I do recommend that you install fire alarm speakers in the stairwells. We could not hear anything that was going on inside the building. that is important because everyone is walking down cannot hear that the fire alarm was a false alarm. Other than that it is an awesome place to stay we enjoyed our stay until next time Hawaii!!!!

Great place to stay - rooms a little in the small side but the lanai and the view made up for that. Awesome location, lovely staff and very clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good views of the beach. My room did not have a chair/sofa to sit on - only a wood desk chair and the bed….made the large room look a bit sparse.

The issue we had for not giving it a 5 star was: in the early morning hours 4:30am the fire alarm went off and no fault of the hotel the fire alarm system also was the communication system for the alarm did not work very well. And we were in the dark what was going on. Later found out by staff that someone was smoking in the emergency stairway and sent off the alarm!!
We had great views from our room. But because it is the city there was street noise as soon as the sun was up. Other than that the staff was great, friendly and helpful.
